Okay, okay, I’m going to start this by saying I haven’t actually watched the lore yet, I’ve only seen people screaming about it

But, but. Apparently. Sam and Phil knew each other. Really knew each other. Before the Dream SMP. But had a falling out because of Sam’s clones

I feel like that adds a LOT of layers to the interaction Sam and Phil have in that one Tommy stream. The one right after dream escapes prison (link timestamp- 41:51)

They have this interaction:

Sam: Oh, Philza

Phil: Sam

Sam: it’s good to see you!

Phil: I wish I could say the same

And I know, I know it’s mainly because the prison break literally just happened but. I can’t help but feel. There’s a lot being unsaid there. That it goes deeper than that

Here is my concept art reference sheet for my headcanon/rewritten C!Phil!

I have a lot of headcanons related to Phil. In my au, the that the way he met c!Kristin/Mumza is that he died years and years ago when he was young— an amateur death goddess took sympathy on this avian she didn’t know, and decided to give him a second chance at life under the consequence of conditional immortality— he cannot die of old age, however he only has one life. They stayed close through this, and now they are what you know as the Angel of death and his goddess, happily married with kids :)

Due to this I actually have a lot of logic I put into revival! One idea was simply that Phil was the first mortal to be revived; and because it was done by an inexperienced goddess, it caused some changes to his appearance, which follows through with others who are revived by other means such as the book— like Tommy and Wilbur. The “damage” is minimal in comparison— while revival kinda bleached Phil’s hair entirely they each just got a streak, LOL. Not portrayed here, because I forgot, but another aspect of revival being that if there is a scar to the injury that caused your death, it becomes golden in color, and your eyes turn green— a reference to the totem of undying!

I would love to talk more about my headcanons so if anyone has questions let me know :))

I love that the general consensus of the spiderinnit fanartists is that he wears a hoodie over his suit

I like to think he just never takes it off, like

Tommy: *yes my suit is indestructible and my hoodie is not, but I’ll be damned if I get a nick in it*

And then the only reason he protects his torso in fights is so that he doesn’t have to explain to his family (sbi) why he’s having to hand-mend another hoodie they bought him

Angels of Death can deform their bodies by causing pressure into their skeleton, skin or muscles for a period of time until the body cures himself in that way, keeping the damage in place, and as easy, it can be fixed.

Which really works well for disguises.

An example, where the skin in pulled looking like an “old hand”

It’s pretty disgusting, but it’s what quick regeneration causes.

And yes, this means that if Philza cut his stomach and puts an object inside the cut, the object will stay in his body.

So guess how many knifes he carries--
