buckle in. this is gonna b a long one

wilbur: does his best to keep his meticulous but he kept wiping his fucking hands on his pants while brewing and got Ingredience(tm) on them that wont come out. he wanted to add that kinda like… hierarchy shit to the sleeves but also was going off a vague memory of what he thought ranks look like and kinda bullshitted it all (why are the pips and chevrons combined man)

tommy: the one who sewed all this shit, he had a coat like wilburs but being Tommy (see; pants) absolutely wrecked it through roughhousing and Existing and finally pitched it. he made a replacement that was a little less fancy and more like tubbos but with SO much more red because it’s ‘sick as fuck wilbur shut the fuck up’.

eret: looks the most similar to wilbur’s (due to his maturity compared to tubbo/tommy/fundy and the amount of trust wilbur placed in him) save for a few things like the boots, collar, and length of the undercoat. INCREDIBLY pristine save for a slightly damaged lapel and concrete dust on the sleeves from working on the wall (since they were able to avoid a lot of the fighting). up until their betrayal, their ability to stay as regal and clean as they did was almost taken as a threat to everyone’s perception of wilbur as the leader of the revolution

tubbo: dirty as fuck, torn as fuck from various escapades in caves and while gardening; he never wore other clothes for menial labour and shit hes goofy. loose on him with a very crumpled collar and lots of stitches for minor tears in the fabric.

fundy: he has little boy shoes he has little boy shoes his outfit is somewhat infantilizing canonically so thats a fun little nod to it! he is just as Rambunctious as tubbo and tommy but makes a much stronger effort to clean his clothes because he is very afraid of his father’s judgement. there are *very* slight dirt stains as a result that just will not come out. while his uniform was being made, he asked if he could get his more similar to his father rather than tubbo/tommy, hence the short tail while everything else looks like wilbur’s. ALSO loose on him, moreso at the start to give him room to grow into it

niki & jack: they joined after the l’manburg war and so theirs are very fresh, with a slightly altered design (red underside vs gold, inverted colours on the sash and pants/shirt/collar) compared to the prior default and marginally more saturated colours as a sign of how crisp and new they are. straight lines to keep the sleeves visually interesting without signifying a wartime rank. both are fairly well fitted as tommy has honed his skills and has tubbo and niki to help

LAS NEVADAS BOYS LETS GOOO!!! my designs for sam, slimecicle, purpled, fundy, and foolish 🫶 for the au's sake, eret was gonna be part of it, but i didnt have space to fit her nor quackity in 😭

during early las nevadas ("post-manburg" era), slimecicle, being one of the VERY few people close to quackity at the time, was the one that proposed to recruit a team to help quackity rebuild the old city.

the city, formerly named manburg, was under the ownership of schlatt. however, after his passing, quackity was on his own to pick up what schlatt had left. of course, handling all the finances and managing the city by himself was near impossible without a team. slime was the very confidant that quackity trusted would recruit the best people for the project.

slime and quackity knew how experienced sam was in technology and engineering, and he was put in charge of the city's tech. foolish, being the god of creation and architecture, was put in charge of the city's construction. fundy joined in hopes of gaining experience in being part of a team. and purpled just. accidentally crash-landed into the area and became a part of it. and also he has the intellect that was useful for the still-very-young city.

at this point i might label the "healing au" as more of a "rewritten au" if anything?? still a very rough concept that needs some adjustments. these are just my ideas for the au :)

fundy was my very first test of the concept a long while ago and hes kinda already perfect to design around because white streaked brown hari already got latte vibes, i made him more furry than i normally do though without long snoot so he kinda has miles tails prower if he was lanky energy (and tbf i want him to be like steampunky engineer design so ths kinda fits). the most prominentschanges is jsut to keep more inline with his skin and add drippy milk (latte compared to cappucino has more milk with little foam) i think my gooper influence is showing here but i digress

doctor4t was my actual second time designing for this concept, cappucino fit him very nice witht eh dress shape. he kinda has that maid cafe inspo behind it which fits. i kinda want to add more patters with hsi dress to be more fancy late table cloth like but this pass is so good and solid in terms of color adn shape

knarfy is my new one and i chose affogato for him, part of me want to give it to mysti instead because cat pun but i chose against cause i think the round shape kinda fits with knarfy's teddy bear thing. hsi outfit is mostly based on old timery ice parlour outfits with teh striped vest and hat, i mostly focused on drizzles and marbleing for that. also spoons, too much spoon dear god

also if youre wondering: mysti is instant coffee or coffee powder kinda based on american diner waitresses with the roller skates, systemzee will be tiramisu animal farmer (pitchfork included), unsure abt eightsidedsquare, MAYBE something like a cold brew idk what kind
