I just watched Glass Onion, and of course everything relates to Steddie right now.
World renowned detective Benoit Blanc and famous rockstar Eddie Munson meet at a party or something. They both start talking about one of Benoit’s cases, references or “clues” in Eddie’s lyrics, or their shared experiences of growing up queer in the south. They’re in enthralled in their own conversation: meanwhile, Steve and Phillip are having their own little bitchy conversation about being the Just Some Guy ™️ husband of a famous person who the other man couldn’t survive without. Maybe they’re swapping recipes. They’re all just having a great time.

Hi! What is Bouncer Steve doing today if you had to guess?
The Foxy Lounge is closed on Monday’s so he’s just been enjoying his day off! He did a little rollerblading this morning (he heard it’s great for your core), then he picked you up for lunch at your favorite spot before you both went to Blockbuster to pick up this new movie called Twister. He’s a big Bill Paxton fan. After the movie ended he immediately called Eddie to try and talk him into becoming a storm chaser.

for some reason what i’ve been absolutely feral about recently is writing characters who have shitty parents having a breakdown after having a child of their own and realizing how easy it is to love them
“Because looking at that little girl made him what to be the best version of himself. He couldn’t imagine doing anything to hurt her. He was filled with so much love it was almost suffocating. And if it was so fucking easy for him to love his child no matter what. Why didn’t his own mother love him enough?”
have i had kids of my own yet? no. do i want to? i don’t know. but am i projecting? probably.
