Percabeth Gods au: After the war with Gaea the gods are angry at Percy and Annabeth because both Percy and Annabeth are mortals and have done things no god ever could: saved Olympus twice, went through Tartarus, held up the sky, ect..

The gods are jealous but they can't kill Percy or Annabeth. They've done too much for the demigods, the demigods have too much loyalty for Percy and Annabeth. Killing them would start another demigod uprising. Killing Percy and Annabeth could push a demigod become another Luke.

Even as Poseidon and Athena beg for their children's mortality, the majority of the Olympians agree on one thing: Percy and Annabeth cannot remain mortal, so they must become gods.

The gods are jealous and make Percy and Annabeth gods, so the Olympians can say that it was gods who achieved what Percy and Annabeth achieved not mortals.

Percy and Annabeth become the gods of quests and demigods. Their domains aren't separate they rule it together. The demigods build the first temples at Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter. Grover, Jason, Piper, Hazel, Frank, Leo, Nico, Rachel, Clarice, and Reyna write the PJO books and the HOO books to let the campers after them know who Percy and Annabeth really were.

Campers pray to them before and during their quests. Campers pray to them to help the demigods. Campers sacrifice blue foods to them. Percy and Annabeth protect the borders of the camps from what they can: humans, monsters, even some vengeful gods. They protect the demigods so that none of them die like Bianca or Beckendorf.

I get why it was a slow burn for Annabeth 🤣

Kinda wanna post a part of the 2nd draft I’ve gone through for the SoN Re-imagined (part of the larger HoO re-imagined) buut it would only be the Camp Jupiter part because I’d have to go re-skim the middle of the quest part of the book because I forget like all of the smaller things that happen.

But while I think about that uh. Probably gonna be more HoO re-imagined stuff going on. HoO is my favorite arc of Pjo and I really want to do my own take on it! Obviously from like Amatuer writer perspective and as someone who just wants to have fun with it.

Anyway with that here are some Percy headshots. I don’t really draw Percy. At all, but I finally got my hands on a stylus (yes; all the art previous to this stuff was done by finger- it sucked so much-) and because of the SoN re-imagining I thought it’d be fun to make some art of the more important characters.

There's a daughter of Neptune. Just how two of the big three have both male and female kids at both camps ; Zeus has Jason and Thalia, and Hades has Nico and Hazel. Neptune had a daughter. Not Poseidon, Neptune. But because Camp Jupiter saw children of Neptune as worse omens than children of Pluto, she ran away. She was ostracized both of her parentage and her power. She was stronger than Percy, infact she was stronger than any of the big three kids. After all the same way Percy represented the calm, peaceful and healing properties of the ocean, she represented it's rage, it's chaos and it's inability to be controlled. She was everything Percy wasn't or the anti version in some cases. Where Percy was calm, she was on edge. Where Percy fit in at Camp Half-blood, She stood out at Camp Jupiter. Percy was willing to do what it took if it insured the survival of his friends and family, She would do what ever it took to survive

thinking about how innocent annabeth and percy are in the lightning thief. how kind, how loving, how optimistic despite everything. how they don’t yet realize what is to come, how they are just scared and clueless, borderline helpless little kids.

one day they won’t be as helpless, won’t be as clueless, they learn fast and painfully how cruel the world is. they learn that the people who brought them into this world see them as tools. they grow stronger and smarter and harder. but that’s not necessarily a good thing.

thinking about how percy is just a little baby, he loves he loves he loves, he teaches annabeth about that love, he is the first person to love her for who she is and not what she can give him. he is the first person to stay.

years later they literally walk through hell together and she has to talk him down from murdering a goddess, choking her to death in her own tears. she is terrified of this boy who taught her light. she has to make him promise to never do something like that ever again.

they were kids once, now they are traumatized teenagers.

they were kids once, now they are veterans of a war meant to destroy the world.

Concept: Percy getting a shirt that says: "I fought for the Olympians and all I got was trauma and a stupid pen"

Annabeth: Of course I would! And if you were a worm, then I'd be a worm too. We would live in the dirt and make the flowers grow and get worm married and have worm kids.
