Sometimes I sit on a flight for a few hours thinking about how silly this kink can be.
My brain really decided we get horny from my husband buying two seats because he'd rather already have them than have it cause an issue, and again repeatedly seeing how badly he fits, just pouring into both seats next to him 😳 Girl how are we getting turned on by seat belt extenders lol, yeah it's hot, same with seeing the flight attendant looking at me in a way I can only assume was her trying to work out if I'd need one as well, but didn't want to ask.😅

Platonic idea! Nat meets reader (female) undercover while on a mission. Maybe R’s a waitress trying to make ends meet for her kids, while Nat frequents the restaurant for her mission as that’s where she meets her target. They develop a friendship, but R doesn’t know nats true identity. One day, shit hits the fan w the mission and R is caught in the crosshairs. Suddenly her “friend” is in a fight with random people. But Nat makes sure to protect R. When it’s all done, Nat explains herself and her true identity. Bonus points if she helps R w her financial situation. Thanks!
You're Too Nice!

"What can I get you today, Nat?" you smiled softly at the red head as you came up to her table. The new guest now eats regularly at the restaurant you worked at. She told you she'd just moved to town and was a terrible cook and enjoyed the food here. Although, this place wasn't a place you thought somebody could afford to eat at almost every night for dinner, but it was clear that Natasha had money, with every tip she left you was bigger than the last.
"I think I'll have the rib-eye steak tonight" Natasha looked up with a smile.
"Good choice, would you like a wine to go with it?" you asked, dotting down her order.
"Sure, what not. Surprise me, I trust you have good taste" she replied.
"I'll be right back" you gave the redhead a light nod before walking over to the bar and getting your co-worker to find the best wine that would go down with her order. "What's her deal? She eats here every night" the bartender asked.
"She just moved here and enjoys the food"
"Ha! I wonder how long it'll take until she gets bored of this place" your co-worker poured a glass of wine before handing it too you, "I don't know, she seems different" you took the glass and made your walk back to Natasha.
"Here's your wine, your food shouldn't be too far away" you smiled once more, placing the glass on the table. "Thank you" Natasha smiled but her eyes stayed glued to the table of gentlemen a few tables away. A group of 17 men all in suits, laughing over poorly made jokes as they sipped on their beers, whisky. You tried to work out, slyly, which gentleman she was so intrigued by, but you noticed she wasn't just watching one, but all.
"If those gentlemen are too loud, I'd be happy to move you to another table"
Natasha looked up at you then back at the table of gentlemen, "no it's okay. I was just wondering what they were laughing at" she replied, brushing off your offer. "My mistake, I'll be back with your order shortly"
That you did, you placed her order on the table and told her to enjoy and that if she needed anything just to holla. You waited on other guests while Natasha sat by herself, eating her dinner and sipping her wine. By the end of the night, Natasha along with the table of gentlemen and a few others, were the only ones left.
Natasha waved you down and asked for the check as she got out her purse. You returned to her table not long after, placing the check on the table. "I hope you enjoyed your meal tonight" you smiled.
"It was lovely, and the wine went down just as well, I knew I could trust you with" Natasha replied, placing $300 on the table. "Oh, please. this is too much!" You looked to her, she was tipping you $150 for your service. "Please, take it. You deserve it. I've seen how hard you work and how little you get. Also, it seems you need to get home to your child or children so you're not paying the babysitter too much, right?" she explained to your surprise.
You nodded, "How'd you know?" you asked.
"You keep checking your watch and the butterfly sticker on your name badge gave it away. How old?"
You totally forgot that your 4-year-old daughter had placed a blue colored butterfly sticker on your nametag before your shift started. Money is tight and you try your best to not work late as the babysitter charges by the hour, on some occasions when you knew work was going to be busy around the holidays, you'd ask her for a flat rate which she was kind enough to set a price but you always felt bad that you were taking from her rather than giving.
"My daughter is 4 and my son is 6" you answered the redhead with an almost embarrassed look.
"They sound lovely" Natasha smiled, handing the check back to you, "If you're working tomorrow night, I'll see you then" she added before standing up from her seat.
----
It's been a few weeks since you told Natasha about your children and since she was new to town you offered to show her around on your day off. Quickly, the two of you formed a friendship that honestly surprised you. Going from waiting on her whenever you had a shift to now sitting in a park drinking a hot coffee while your children played.
"What made you move here?" you asked, dying to know.
"I heard it was peaceful and I need peaceful in my life right now. Besides, the café near my apartment makes great muffins" she replied before taking a sip of her coffee.
"I've got to ask, do you not know how to cook?"
Natasha laughed, "I guess you can't count making peanut butter sandwiches cooking, can you?"
You shook your head, "not, that's barely a meal!" You chuckled, "Look, I love cooking. I'd be happy to cook a little extra and drop it off to you. It'll save you from having to come to the restaurant every night, which now sounds really bad like I'm trying to drive you away from us" you offered before blabbering on.
"I don't mind it; in fact, I enjoy it. The service is really good" Natasha replied with a chuckle.
"Maybe you should get a job there, you've seen pretty much how it works and what we do, how we do it. If you're looking, I can talk to the manger" you offered before taking another sip of your coffee.
"You're too nice, did you know that?" Natasha turned to you, "is that a bad thing?" you questioned.
"It can be. Some people might take that for granted"
"The world is already full of crappy people doing crappy things, there needs to be more people doing kind things" you explained, making Natasha chuckle at your choice of words. "Crappy things?" she questioned with a raised brow.
"Sorry, I try to reframe from swearing. I don't want my kids to swearing just yet" you explained.
Natasha nodded, "So if you think that there needs to be more people doing kind things, why do you try to refuse to take my tips every night?"
She had you there.
"W..I..well, I am very grateful for your tips but I feel bad for taking them. I give you the same service I give any other guest an- "
"and they don't see how wonderful your service. Lets make a deal, I'll let you drop off some food if you take my tips without trying to get me to stop, deal?" She interrupted you. Again, she had you.
"Fine, deal" you playful shook your head.
----
The night started off normal as usual, except Natasha hadn't come in. A table of 3 gentleman in suits waited patiently for a fourth member and none of them seemed happy to be there. But regardless of their rudeness towards you, you gave them your best service and did your best to make sure they would leave without complaints.
"That wasn't the deal!" one man shouted as you quietly came up to their table, placing their second round of drinks on the table. "I don't care if you don't think it was the deal, it's the deal now!" another snapped.
"That's it!" the first man replied with anger before standing from his chair.
"Sit down! Don't make a scene" the other muttered, "I'm sorry miss, somebody has had one too many drinks tonight" He looked at you with an apologetic smile. Before you knew it, your life flashed before your eyes as the angry man wrapped on arm around your neck, trapping you in a headlock while having a gun pointed to your left temple.
You instantly dropped your notepad and pen in shock. Other guests took cover under the tables while staff called 9-1-1.
"Let her go, idiot! You're over reacting" one of the gentlemen spoke.
"We had a fucking deal! If you do this, my entire business will go under and I won't let you do that to me! Not again!" your attacked spat back, pressing his gun harder against your temple.
"P-please, let me g-go" you sobbed, tears rolling down your cheeks. All you could think about were your children and how badly you just wanted to get home to them. "Shut up! And as for you bastards, if you do this, I will make sure the entire world know what you plan to do!"
"Damn, looks like you guys beat me to the fun" a familiar voice caught your attention, Natasha. "Who the fuck are you?" Your attacker turned you both slightly to face her. "How about you let her go and I'll show you who I am?" Natasha replied with a light smirk, her own weapon pointed at the man holding you tightly in his hold.
The man pushed you to the floor and quickly fired his gun at Natasha, missing her as she took cover and taking him out with a clear shot between the eyes. The other man quickly jumped up from their seats with their own weapons pointed at the red head you considered a good friend. Meanwhile, you took cover under a table with other guests while the sounds of guns and bullets flew across the restaurant.
Moments passed and you along with all the other guests were too shaken up to come out from under the tables as the restaurant grew with silence. Some guests began to emerge from the safety, "It's safe now everybody, you can come out" Natasha announced but still, you couldn't bring yourself to come out from under the table until Natasha came to you.
"Are you okay?" she asked with worry in her eyes.
"W-what, I m-mean who are you?" you asked, hesitant to take her hand. "How about we get you home and I'll explain everything" Natasha offered. You had no reason not to trust her, she did just save your life. So you took her hand and nodded softly, still in shock.
----
"So you're an avenger? That explains why I've felt like I've seen you before" you looked up at Natasha she handed you a cup of tea, Nat chuckled, "I couldn't say anything. I was undercover and I'm so sorry you got in the middle of all that" she sat down beside you.
"Hey, the way I see it, I now have a fun story to tell the kids later on when they're older" you chuckled, taking a sip of your drink. "I guess you'll be moving back to New York?" you asked, your eyes dropped to the mug in your hands.
"Yeah, but that doesn't mean we still can't be friends. I'll give you my number and we can catch up whenever. Besides, I think I'm going to really miss the food" Nat smiled softly. Making you playfully shake your head at the Avenger, "I should get going, I have to report back to my team but I'm going to write down my number and leave it on the fridge for you, okay?" she added.
"Sure" you smiled, "thank you for the lift" you added.
Natasha left, leaving her number stuck on your fridge for you to put in your phone later on. You placed your now empty mug in the sink for tomorrow's problem when you noticed a small bag on the countertop, you did recognize it and assumed that Natasha had left it behind, so you called her.
"Hey Nat, it's Y/n. You left a bag in my kitchen" you spoke when she answered the phone.
"Open it, it's yours" Natasha replied, "I'm going to hang up before you can say anything about it" she chuckled before she hung up. Slowly you unzipped the bag to be greeted with a sight of cash, more than enough to help you get on top of rent for months to come with a little left over to buy general things for your kids. On top of the cash was a note;
"Just a kind person doing a kind thing, don't think too much about it. Thank you for your lovely service, I'll see you again soon.
 ~ Nat x"

Helloooo, it's me the person that said I needed more sang-wook ficts! So idk if you remember in S2 not sure which episode it was when hyun-soo and "sang-wook" (I don't remember the monster's name) crashed because said monster was seeing sang-wook's memories and stuff? So can you do something based on that where sang-wook and reader had been together bfr hand and then they see eachother again but this time like the "monster" actually leaves and yeah sang-wook is ok. I know it sounds a little weird but trust me I think it'll turn out good!
Sang - wook X reader
Genre: romance I say idk
Warning ⚠️: violence, fighting , blood
Tumblr media
As Sang Wook held Hyun su down with one of his footed boots against the dash board of the military , removing a hand from the steering wheel as he pops his nose back in to place
“Why did you kill him” Hyun su managed to let out as he struggles againstSang Wook foot as he tries to push his foot off his throat with all his force but he didn’t remove a inch
“Because … you pissed me off” Sang Wook replies with a heartless laugh as he gives Hyun su a quick glance quickly turning his gaze back toward the road
As he uses his free foot to press down on the gas a bit more , as he mind starts to play his past memories that he had with reader
You met Sang Wook at a friends gathering as you didn’t really know any one there but your two best friends Amy and Lisa
You were sitting in a corner as you didn’t felt like your fit in well , Sang Wook glances soon landing in your sitting figure as he starts to become curious since he never seen you there before
Slowly walking towards you as he gives you slight bow with a small smile as he greets you , which your greet back as you look away shyly , which he found adorable
Not to long after you started to hang out more as you start to become closer by the day , eventually Sang Wook decided to ask you out to which you happily accepted
After a couple of dates , 6 maybe 7 , he finally grew the guts to tell you how he really felt about you , to soon find out you felt the same way as you both soon started dating
After a year of being a happily couple as he made sure to keep you out of any dirty business he did so you could stay safe to which you understood and never pressured him about , always being there to patch him up if needed
Weeks later you both eventually moved into Green Home , as it made you super excited to finally be able to live with Sang Wook , although he was happy to live with you he was there to handle other business
Which soon caught up with him .. after you both started to open up to the other survivors at Green Home , a group of thugs needed up showing up , one of the men taking your front e group as he drags you to a near by room
After finally breaking free and getting Green Home back from the thugs , Sang Wook went looking for you , only to see you ‘lifeless body’..laying over the table
That same day Sang Wook decided to leave Green Home which soon ended him him being shot and soon being controlled by a monster
Shaking his head to get rid of the thoughts as he lets out a shaky breath
“You aren’t dead you mother fucker” sang Wook says as his eyes start to turn pitch black as he tries to take control over his body but fails seconds later abusing Sang Wook to let out a cocky laugh
His monster side was to caught up in making sure he didn’t gain back Sang Wook to gain control that he didn’t notice the sudden spikes that were thrown in the road
As the tired go flat causing the car to swerve a little as it , crashes into a small pole.. coming back to his senses as he groan in pain a bit , Hyun su quickly climbing out of the car as blood trails down his head slowly looking up once he was out as he stop in he tracks
Quietly watching as the unknown person slowly walks past him not paying him any mind as she slowly walks to the crashed vehicle, pulling open the drivers side door as she pulls out a bloodied Sang Wook
Gently pulling his body out of the car as she places him on the ground , quietly checking his pulse as Hyun su watches with silent tears running down his face as knew Sang Wook thought you were gone
“H-He’s not him self” Hyun su says softly as he watches as you make sure he was breathing through his nose
“I know..” you reply quietly, taking your bag as you grab a bottle of water slowly opening the cap as you splash a bit of water on Sang Wook
“SANG WOOK” reader yells as Sang Wook eyes opens abruptly staring up at the sky for a minute before slowly turning his head in your direction eyes becoming wide as he feels tears drop down his face
“W-Who are you” Sang Wook says lowly almost in a whisper
“You ducking idiot..” You say as you slap his shoulder carefully , “ your sure a dick head you know that , how can you let some monster take control over your just because you assume I was dead , how can you just leave me like that your fucking prick” you say in one breathe let out as your let out a deep breath looking at him with anger and hurt after a while of silence he eyes seemed a bit different.. no make almost as he tried to sit up looking at you in disbelief
“R-Reader..” San Wook let’s our as he chokes on a sob , slowly nodding your head as he pulls you in a tight hug crying on your shoulder as you rubbed his back with a smile
You had your Sang Wook back after a year of searching and thinking he had died ….all because of you

Uchusen Vol.181 (Summer 2023) Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger | Detail of Super Sentai ft. Masashi Ikeda & Masato Yano Interviews Special feature on the film King-Ohger: Adventure Heaven (full translation of their Interviews and film info below)
🕷️Masashi Ikeda (Jeramie Brasieri) Interview (Page 62-64)
"Looks like I can't afford to keep sleeping, huh?" Many readers may have been surprised when they first heard that line. Jeramie Brasieri is a storyteller who has been watching over the Five Kingdoms and Bugnarak for more than 2,000 years. Born from a human and a Bugnarak, he yearns for world peace with a nihilistic smile on his face. How was such a unique character created? We asked Masashi Ikeda, who plays the role of Jeramie and the voice of the narrator since the first episode, about his role and thoughts on the work…or so it'll go.
"Ikeda-san, do you have any memories of any tokusatsu works?"
Ikeda: I loved Kamen Rider 555! I had all the transformation belts. I loved it so much that I begged my parents to get me the Psyga and Orga belts that appeared in the movie because I really wanted them (laughs). I also collected the figures and played with them by making them fight.
"Since then, you said you longed to become a hero."
Ikeda: I admired it, but I didn't think it was something I would become. I was born and raised in Tokushima Prefecture, and I thought that the entertainment industry was so far away.
"You didn't think you would become an actor?"
Ikeda: I moved to Tokyo to enter university, where I became enamored by the city. When I was struggling with various issues, I was approached by my current agency. When I was ready to take the first step toward becoming an actor, I was given the chance to audition for a show, which can be a gateway towards success for young talents. I auditioned for "King-Ohger" thinking that I was going to finally fulfill my childhood dream.
"Did you audition for the role of Jeramie from the beginning?"
Ikeda: At first I auditioned for the role of Gira and Yanma, but those fell through. Soon after, I was asked to participate in an audition for the role of the additional warrior. During the interview, they asked me about things other than acting, such as "what's your favorite food?" I was so nervous because I thought they were also looking into my personality.
"How were you informed that you got the role?"
Ikeda: When I heard that another audition for the role was to be filmed, I went to the office, but was told "seems like it's been decided." I didn't really understand, so I was left in daze for about an hour. It was only once I got home that I finally realized what happened and was overcome with excitement. I think maybe my manager wanted to surprise me (laughs). However, I couldn't react to anything after hearing that, so I ended up leaving flustered, I'm so sorry (laughs).
"What were your first impressions of the character Jeramie?"
Ikeda: I remember being excited about this role, thinking it would be interesting. Just hearing that he's half human, half Bugnarak, and that he's a 2,000-year-old pacifist. I just knew that he would be a sensitive character on the inside. I was curious about what happened to him in his 2,000 years of life, and about his appearance as the additional warrior.
"How did you prepare for the role of Jeramie?"
Ikeda: At the time of the audition, the description said "hard-boiled and pretentious," so I created the character in a slightly different way than it is now. I focused on how to make him look cool from his body language to his hand gestures.
"By "slightly different from what it is now," do you mean that after you passed the audition, you changed up your performance based on the director or producer's opinion?"
Ikeda: Actually, the script for the episode in which Jeramie appears (episode 11) arrived quite a while after the audition, but during the meetings at the time, the setting of Jeramie changed. For the time being, I abandoned the role I had played during the audition, and started to think about playing a different character again. The key word "sensitive" remained the same, but I have the impression that Jeramie is relaxed enough to enjoy having conversations with others. That's why I'm very conscious of making sure that he enjoys talking with other people. Also, there are scenes in which he speaks with his true feelings, which are different from how he appears to be on the surface. I try to keep that in mind while act accordingly.
"I heard that you used the previous work "Avataro Sentai Donbrothers" as a reference to help develop your role."
Ikeda: After I was cast as Jeramie, I watched all episodes of Donbrothers and went to the G Rosso theater performances. Donbrothers is mainly comedic rather than kingly, isn't it? I thought that the fun of the stage play was similar to that of King-Ohger, so I used it as a reference.
"Before Jeramie made his appearance, Ikeda-san had been providing the role of narrator. At that point, you still had not yet decided what Jeramie's character was going to be like."
Ikeda: The character had not yet been finished at that point. However, Director (Kazuya) Kamihoriuchi-san told me that he "wanted me to put emotion into the narration." During the first postrecording, I was at a total loss as to how to put emotion into the narration, and it took me a long time of trying. At that time, Director Kamihoriuchi said to me, "why don't you try adding in "…or so it goes" (…tosa)." I feel like Jeramie's character had been decided by that one saying.
"So the memorable phrase originated from the director! Until his appearance, Ikeda-san's name was not credited in the opening. While watching, some viewers may have been wondering whose voice actor was doing it."
Ikeda: For me, I don't like my own voice. That's why when King-Ohger started airing, I couldn't get used to hearing my own voice on air. It was the same when Jeramie made his appearance, I still have strange feelings about it.
"The line "Looks like I can't afford to keep sleeping, huh?" in episode 10 made the viewers realize for the first time that the narration was by a character in the show. From there, there was an immediate response to Jeramie. How did that make you feel?"
Ikeda: When it was realized that the narrator was Jeramie, and then when Jeramie appeared in the show, I was very excited to see everyone's reactions. On Twitter, I was so happy to see tweets with the subject of "the person who narrates is appearing! I had to practice many times how to say "Looks like I can't afford to keep sleeping" because it was the first line that showed Jeramie's emotion as a character, and not as the narrator.
"Did you ever meet the other five members when you were participating only as the narrator?"
Ikeda: I would try to observe them when they were providing the dub for the post recording. I met the five of them there, so when it came time for me to join the show as Jeramie, we were able to get along well.
"What was the first scene filmed as Jeramie?"
Ikeda: It was the beginning of episode 11. I was still wearing the hood and Spider Mask, so I could hardly see anything in front of me. It's not often that you get to perform in such a state, so it was a fun and new experience. When I finally took off my mask, I felt a sense of relief that I was finally able to present Jeramie. There was also a feeling of comradery, as I was finally able to perform with the other five.
"Please tell us about some of the most impressionable episodes you filmed."
Ikeda: In the scene where he meets Rita for the first time, they slap Jeramie hard across the face. Before shooting the scene, I told (Yuzuki) Hirakawa-san, who plays Rita, "Do it seriously," but when filming started, she hit me harder than I expected and I ended up making a face. I replied after that it would be nice if this turns out to be an interesting scene. From there, Hirakawa-san and I became good friends.
"Having played Jeramie so far, Ikeda-san, what do you find most appealing about him?"
Ikeda: Aside from the fact that he was born half human and Bugnarak, and despite having lived as an entity erased from history, I think it's the fact that he loves humans more than anything. He may come off as a pretentious person, but he's actually more pure and innocent, and wishes to bring peace to the the world more than anyone else. I think the gap between innocent and cute is also appealing.
"What were your impressions of the costumes and makeup?"
Ikeda: Normally, I wouldn't wear such pure white and pretty clothing, or put patterns on my face. Even so, when I look like that, the switch to Jeramie is flipped on. I saw it for the first time at the costume fitting, and since both Gira and Kaguragi wear eye makeup, I knew that Jeramie would have some as well, and I think he looks cool having makeup that reflects his sensitive personality.
"What are your thoughts on the post transformation design of Spider Kumonos?"
Ikeda: I honestly thought, "Is it really alright to be this cool!?" This design feels different from the Super Sentai series I watched as a child, so it's really cool. When the figures were released, I decorated them in my house where I admire them everyday (laughs).
"How did you create the transformation scene for Spider Kumonos?"
Ikeda: I worked together with action director (Watanabe) Jun-san to create the scene. When I looked at the finished video, I really felt as though I transformed. It was in that moment where I realized my childhood dream of being a hero came true, and I was overcome with emotion. Words can't express how happy I was, as I watched the transformation scene over and over again like a little kid.
"What was your first impression of Spider Kumonos's sidekick God Tarantula/Tarantula Knight?"
Ikeda: They're wonderful, aren't they? Notably, even though Tarantula is a giant robot, it's able to perform very gorgeous, delicately cool actions. DX Tarantula Knight has also been released, and I'd really like to decorate it in my room.
"It's understood that Ikeda-san has a "King-Ohger" merch corner in his home."
Ikeda: I've displayed King-Ohger post transformation figures, and pre-transformation acrylic stands. Jeramie's stand has recently been released. Naturally, Gira should be placed in the center, but in my house, Jeramie, Spider Kumonos and Tarantula Knight are the center (laughs).
"As filming continues, is there anything Ikeda-san would like to try as Jeramie?"
Ikeda: Spider Kumonos has the ability to control spider webs. I would like to use this ability to talk and fly around upside down while hanging on by the webs, even before transforming. I think it would be interesting to create the kind of eccentric image that only Jeramie could pull off. I'd like to experiment with scenes that make full use of wires.
"When it comes to action scenes like that, I think that proper body strength is necessary…"
Ikeda: I played soccer all the way through my 3rd year of high school, so I love to exercise (laughs). I know it'll be a lot of work, but since I'm able to be apart of a tokusatsu production, given the opportunity, I'd like to actively try my hand at action scenes!
"We're looking forward to it. Finally, what are your thoughts on playing Jeramie in the future?"
Ikeda: In terms of what will happen next, I really don't know. But, Jeramie is a character whose true feelings are shown through his facial expressions, so I hope to play him while emphasizing all of those emotions. I have had the pleasure of working together with truly wonderful staff and co-stars during the production of King-Ohger. I will do my best to continue to create a wonderful show with you all, so please give me your support! Jeramie will also be active in the upcoming movie, so please look forward to it!

⚔️Masato Yano (Rcules Husty) Interview (Page 65-67)
Yano: On the surface, he is a heroic king who wishes for the peace of Shugoddam. Behind the scenes, he is an arrogant dictator who is willing to sacrifice his people and invade other countries… The one who acts as a great wall that stands in front of Gira and his comrades, is none other than Rcules Husty. In this issue, we interviewed Masato Yano-san, who plays the role of Rcules, about creating the role of Rcules and his approach to acting. As well as the treasured episodes with his co-stars…?
"First, I would like to ask a few personal questions. Do you have any memories of any tokusatsu works?"
Yano: In regards to Super Sentai, I was obsessed with with "Denji Sentai Megaranger." I remember having the toys and playing hero with my friends. But my absolute favorite work was "Juukou B-Fighter." Beat Machine and the Juukou Base were the first toys from any tokusatsu show that were given to me, I loved them so much that I still remember them very well.
"Since then, did you ever think you'd want to be an actor playing a hero?"
Yano: No, no, my childhood dream was something else entirely (laughs). But actually, when I was in elementary school, I appeared as a child actor in "Kamen Rider Agito." At the time, there was a training school called Toei Academy within Toei Movie Studios, and that's where I once attended. Performance was part of the class, and this was before my debut, so I don't know if I can call it an entertainment career.
"So Yano-san, do you consider "King-Ohger" to be the first tokusatsu work you've appeared in?"
Yano: Since my debut was through theater (stage plays), I've always thought that tokusatsu was a world that I had no connections to. Many of the roles I've played in the past have often been that of a dark or fearsome character. Or, for example, playing the role of a criminal. It's a position that contrasts completely with tokusatsu works that are meant for children to watch. At the time, I was really surprised when I was asked to be apart of this production.
"The role of Rcules was not an audition, but rather an offer right?"
Yano: Previously, I had worked with Director (Kazuya) Kamihoriuchi-san (the main director of King-Ohger) on "Tokusou 9 (Season 5)", so I think that's why he invited me on. Also, I had worked with (Kotobuki) Kamiaka-san, who is in charge of filming for King-Ohger, in "Muyo Ireinkyo Shugyo (6)", so it was easy for me to get a feel for this project because it didn't feel like my first time on set.
"You also co-starred with (Taisei) Sakai-san, who plays the role of Gira, in "Shinyu wa Akujo" which was broadcast during January of this year."
Yano: That's right (laughs). I once asked Sakai-kun, who played the role of a junior colleague, "Have you decided on what project you'll act in next?" He responded with, "I can't tell you just yet…" and continued to keep it to himself. From the way he answered, I somehow suspected that he would be in the next Super Sentai series (laughs). When I asked him to "Atleast give me a hint," he told me that apparently he would have an "older brother." I responded with "It would be interesting if I got to play the role of a big brother," and then a week later I actually received the offer to play the role of Rcules! It was a big shock (laughs).
"What a fateful turn of events! When you were contacted with the offer, what kind of impression did you get from King-Ohger?"
Yano: I though it was interesting how everyone plays a leading role. Also, Rita's gender isn't explicitly stated, is it? I thought that was another perspective that was typical of modern times. In the case of Rcules, I simply thought that his costumes were decorated with so much gold that they were glittering. The abundance of gold is connected to the idea that he is a king among kings. Just wearing it makes you feel more confident. However, when I read his setup, I felt as though Rcules was a high quality heel (villain). It's an intimidating role, as he's always at odds with Gira.
"How did you go about creating Rcules's character?"
Yano: To be honest, I'm the only one who is given advanced knowledge on future developments before the shooting starts. Sakai-kun and the other six don't know anything, but I do. While keeping it hidden, I'll read the script and speculate, "So this is what's going to happen later on," while also acting unnoticed as to make sure the audience isn't spoiled.
"What exactly does acting unnoticed mean?"
Yano: First, make sure you don't make a face that will end up revealing your true intentions. Don't imagine what you're thinking about in the moment, or about your personal life. I think Rcules's charm lies in how mysterious he is. Furthermore, Shugoddam has a stronger military force than any of the other kingdoms, and in order to keep that dignity, I must be mindful of both my posture and tone of my voice. I try not to blink too much, and slow down my speech about two levels compared to my normal speed.
"Yano-san, what are you particularly conscious of when you are performing?"
Yano: This isn't limited to just King-Ohger, but I am always paying attention to the theatrics of my hand movements. I believe that hand movement can bring out a character, and if that part is neglected, the character's image would fall apart. I hope that, by all means, you will pay attention to Rcules's hand movements.
"I would also like to ask you about your co-stars. Rcules has two close servants, Douga and Boshimar. Yutaka Morioka-san, who plays Douga, and Jubun Fukuzawa-san who plays Boshimar, have had many scenes together."
Yano: That's right, I feel more at ease having both of them on either side. Actually, I don't treat Douga and Boshimar in the same way that I do the rest of my entourage, as I try to act a little different between the two of them. Some viewers noticed the difference in performance when I was searching on SNS, and they shared their impressions with both Morioka-san and Fukuzawa-san.
"What was your reaction after looking at the main story?"
Yano: I don't often watch the works in which I appear in, but I am genuinely curious to see how King-Ohger will turn out. And since we'll be filming long term, I try to check out how the previous story turned out while getting ready for filming.
"What is your favorite scene in the story so far?"
Yano: It's Episode 8! It's because it was the first transformation scene I performed in my life. The transformation poses were assigned to me by the action director (Watanabe) Jun-san, and I keep thinking about what to do, as a chance like this was a once in a lifetime opportunity. At first, the idea was to just simply pull the Ohger Calibur lever, so that I wouldn't overlap with the other five, but unlike them, I prioritized sex appeal over passion (laughs).
"How did you feel when you actually saw the transformation scene?"
Yano: I felt numb! First of all, not only was I fascinated by the sound effects, but the atmosphere of a king was overflowing, which I enjoyed alot. The graphics, which are more advanced than the tokusatsu shows that I watched as a child, were wonderful, and I was more than happy to become the silver hero, Ohkuwagata Ohger. When I was a child, I liked gold and silver origami more than other colors, and I think silver is a special color. It was a very emotional moment for me, as it was the moment I became the hero of such a color.
"The Secret of King Rcules," a spin-off featuring Ohkuwagata Ohger and Rcules as the main character, is now available on Youtube. When did you first hear about the production of the spin-off?"
Yano: When I was contacted for the role of Rcules, the production of "The Secret of King Rcules" had already been arranged. For the Super Sentai series, it seems to be a rare occurrence for a spin-off work to be developed in conjunction with the initial TV series. In addition, it's available on Youtube, so I like that anyone can watch it. We will be filming it alongside the TV show, and while I was busy during the time we were filming, I always did my best as I was happy regardless.
"The key visuals for "The Secret of King Rcules" was also very cool!"
Yano: Yes, It's good!! The key visual is Rcules sitting on the throne, with the image of Ohkuwagata Ohger overlapping the other half of his body. To tell you the truth, I don't remember shooting stills for this key visual (laughs). I really don't remember. I'm sure it's the result of the designer's artificial editing technique. It was as if I was already in that situation and took a still in one shot. I sent it to everyone in our performers group LINE. They said, "You're so cool!" (laughs).
"In "The Secret of King Rcules" The development of Rcules being judged by Rita is depicted."
Yano: During the trial with Rita in Gokkan, the Bugnarak come into Shugoddam. It's for that reason that Rcules makes the decision to vacate the castle. Such an exchange is one of the three key points of "The Secret of King Rcules," however I would like you to watch it simply because it is interesting to see Rcules in handcuffs. And above all else, I want you to pay attention to King Ohger ZERO!
"I always enjoy reading Yano-san's Twitter feed, and I see that you are checking the opinions of the viewers."
Yano: That's right (laughs). When the broadcast first began, I honestly didn't expect to receive such an overwhelming reaction…I thought it would be nice if it would generate a little conversation, but every week lots of people would send me feedback and then give me their thoughts…Something else that caught my attention was the fact that these people who support Rcules had voluntarily added the word "tool" after their handle names.
"Because of the line, "People are tools" (laughs)."
Yano: After seeing the photo shoot, I started to update my Twitter more frequently, even though I hadn't been very active on it in the past. Words relating to King-Ohger were trending every week, that I was surprised on its impact. For this, "Rcules" would like to extend a thank you!
"Filming for King-Ohger will continue on, Yano-san, is there anything you would like to challenge yourself with?"
Yano: It would be to have a straightforward action scene. In "The Secret of King Rcules" we showed off a little bit of one, but I would like to perform one in the main story. From my previous works, I have experience in both action scenes and sword fighting, and I feel as though Jun-san is looking at me as if to say "You wanna do it?" (laughs). Also, as I had mentioned earlier, I don't know anything about Rcules's personal life, so I'd like to see a scene where Rcules is doing something other than political affairs. Maybe Rcules's morning routine?
"I was thinking about it earlier but, the impression of Rcules that we see in the show, and the impression of Yano-san that we are interviewing now is quite different (laughs)."
Yano: I'm completely different from Rcules! (laughs). When I feel that everyone is tired, or that the atmosphere on set is tense, I try to brighten the mood. Like maybe I'll try making a weird face. Since we're going to be together for a year, why don't we try to have a good time? Besides, I want them to get to know me better. I want to listen to what everyone has to say, and I also want to be listened to. I'm conscious of developing these relationships. I often perform alongside (So) Kaku-san who plays Kaguragi, but recently Mami Kamura-san, who plays Suzume, has joined the cast and we now have more cast members of the same generation. I'm very pleased about that as well!
"Finally, what is your enthusiasm for King-Ohger throughout this Summer?"
Yano: I hope that you will believe in Rcules and look forward to the future stories! Please be sure to check out "The Secret of King Rcules," available on Youtube, along with the main story! When you look back at "The Secret of King Rcules" as the show continues to progress, I think that you'll be able to enjoy the main story more. From now on, no matter what happens, I hope you will continue to watch King-Ohger!

Ari plus basement wife Reader being kept tied naked an blindfolfed for him to use when he wants. And he wants her plenty? Maybe adding guests to enjoy her and test if she recognizes their touch and cocks? And if she fails she goes at it again? And when she succeds Ari still feels her with his seed?
The prompts were supposed to be simple 😂 You wrote a little story of your own, lol
I'm going with Ari + basement wife in general
warnings: dark!Ari; basement wife kink; kindapping; mentions of voyeurism; mentions of foursome; breeding kink; lactation kink; stockholm syndrome;
"Ain't that lovely?" Ari hummed, running his hands along your body as you stood with your back pressed to his chest.
"You chose a pretty pattern, love." He compliments the curtains you sew - an off-white base with green monstera leaves.
They now framed the little window Ari installed for you; a reward for being compliant and good for two weeks now. The window wasn't big and had bars in it, but it also let the sunlight in and gave you a peek of the grass and lilacs outside.
The glass was reinforced, your small weak fists wouldn't brake it. No sound would carry out either. You weren't considering trying to either, too scared of the punishment that would await you.
Ari was good to you when you obeyed. Very caring and dotting, and worshipping every inch of your body as long as you didn't fight back.
Though sometimes he liked it when you struggled.
He liked pinning you down. Liked the sound of ripping clothes and your muffled cries.
"Thank you," you said quietly. "For the window. And the new dress, too."
You glanced at the short, blue dress draped over the back of the armchair.
Ari brought you a pretty, shell-shaped chair and a small table, so you could sit and read at it, or do your makeup at. He got you any book you wanted.
Often stayed with you in your bed after fucking you senseless and read to you aloud until you fell asleep.
"It may be a little loose for now." Ari pulled down the strap of the white dress you were currently wearing and kissed your bare shoulder.
"But soon it'll fit-" he spread his fingers over your lower belly.
Your breath hitched.
Ari's been talking about starting a family from the very beginning of this madness. You took it as just dirty talk at first. One that scared you, but also made you come harder when Ari spilled inside you.
"Once you're so full of me it starts showing," he said while rolling your dress up over your hips, "I take you upstairs."
He pulled the dress completely off of you then picked you up. He took you to your bed and placed you on your hands and knees.
"To ensure your safety, I'll have a tracker installed in your body." Ari caressed your back as he knelt behind you.
His hand clenched on the back of your neck as he pushed your head down into the sheets.
"Lloyd can do that easily. Said it'll be his wedding gift to us. You remember Llloyd, don't you?"
How could you not. Him and Steve were the two friends Ari introduced you to.
Forced you to pleasure them while he watched. Allowed them to fuck your holes and say degrading things about you.
Though he never let them come inside your pussy.
"Of course you do," Ari's chuckle was dark, his hand slipping between your legs to touch your wet folds - you weren't sure if he conditioned you, or if your body really aroused for him so quickly.
"You cried so prettily when he fucked your tight ass."
He slipped two fingers inside you, your hips rocking back against him eagerly.
"He'll have to rely on the video to get himself off from now on." Ari pulled his fingers out and smacked your ass. "I won't let anyone enjoy this responsive, full body once you're pregnant. You're all mine, love. Only mine."
"Yes, Ari." You whimpered, cheek pressed to the mattress.
"But-" He considered aloud- "we might be generous hosts when my friends visit. Let them taste your milky breasts. Perhaps watch as I pump you full of my cum again."

Eliza's Yandere Alphabet
Tumblr media
♡ Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get? ♡
♡ Eliza loves physical affection to an extreme, she always has to be touching you somehow, hand holding will cut it from short periods of time but what she really wants is to hold onto you tightly or even carry you around like her little baby if you would let her. She also shows how much she loves you by how her tail is wagging constantly in your presence. If you need further proof of her affection she'd be more than happy to lick your face all over and make extra sure to growl at everyone who gets even slightly close to you. ♡
♡ Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling? ♡
♡ She's very messy when it comes to her darling, she rips out throats of people who flirt with you on the streets and eats them simply because she believes it'll show you what a loyal doggy she is for you. It sadly freaks you out but she had very good intentions behind it! She can also have a little more tact with it though if you prefer, she'll ask special permission to go in the forest and hunt deer since the forest is only dangerous if you lack permission. She'll carry a whole bear carcass to your front door if that's what it takes for you to know how much she's willing to do for you. ♡
♡ Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them? ♡
♡ She's sweet once she has you and is constantly coddling you. You love her and she loves you so even when you protest she just believes maybe you're a bit timid. You're such a silly mate, don't you worry if you struggle to be affectionate then she'll be affectionate enough for the both of you. It might seem like she's mocking you when she coos at you, saying how cute your protests are but she doesn't actually mean any harm by it, she really just thinks you're cute, she not trying to upset you or anything, puppy! ♡
♡ Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will? ♡
♡ She's all over you constantly and while she likely wouldn't force herself on you aggressively she gets a bit pushy when she wants to be with her mate, grabbing at your clothing saying she just wants to cuddle skin to skin and of course if that leads to more then she's no opposed which obviously mean more is likely to happen at that point. You can stop her but you have to be very firm about it, call her a bad girl and explain that you aren't ready for that yet and she'll let up though she'll be very sad about it. ♡
♡ Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling? ♡
♡ She has nothing to hide ever, she's open to everyone so if she's upset you'll know it, if she's happy she'll tell you though you'll likely misinterpret it since she's very scary looking. If you ask how she's feeling she'll tell you point blank though her wording might be awkward or scarily blunt but she's not lying when she says she just wants to be your good loyal puppy and start a family with you. ♡
♡ Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back? ♡
♡ She's a bit delusional so it depends on the level of fighting back. She'll try at first to believe you're just silly or confused but eventually she'll have to realize you actually want to leave her and after that she's very confused. Has she not shown that she cherishes you? She promises she's not a threat to you, she doesn't understand how this misunderstanding but she's going to do her best to clear it up which honestly probably just makes it worse. ♡
♡ Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape? ♡
♡ She doesn't enjoy it unless she's completely sure you want her to chase you, in which case she's thrilled. Once she gets you back to her pack she's going to want to chase you through the forest just as a form of affection, it's common to show your mate that you have the self restraint to chase them but not hurt them like their instincts tell them to do with most targets but when chasing you mate your instincts tell you to do something completely different. ♡
♡ Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them? ♡
♡ Your worst experience is watching her tear someone's throat out in front of you for daring to ask you out. She bites it out and starts to consume their flesh which causes every other supernatural to flee the area leaving just you and her. She only stops when she hears you cry and starts to smell your tears. She starts to whimper and rushes towards you soaked in blood while you're shaking and trying to get away from her. She's devastated cause she doesn't know what upset you, you must be very fragile but she can't understand why you're afraid of her, she would never do this to you, you have to know that right?! Please don't cry, she won't do it in front of you again. ♡
♡ Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling? ♡
♡ She wants to take you back to her pack with her once she finishes her training and have pups with you if you'll let her. She'll do the majority of the work she promises, just please have pups with her, she'll do anything for you to make sure you're ready to have them, you can even have your own private hobby area if you need time away though she would prefer you spend time with the children but if you decide to neglect them then she'll just blame herself for forcing you into having kids in the first place. ♡
♡ Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope? ♡
♡ She doesn't get jealous, she gets territorial is what she says. Jealousy is for when someone has something she wants but you're her mate so she clearly already has you doesn't she so therefore there wouldn't be a single reason to get jealous. She's not lashing out, she's just defending her claim on you, why would she cope when she's in the right, you're hers, these are the rules in both her pack and the city so she must clearly be right! ♡
♡ Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling? ♡
♡ She's very affectionate and is always trying to make you smile since you always seem to be spooked or startled when you see her. It's best she just stay by your side because every time she comes up next to you you get scared, you must just be extra susceptible to jumpscares so she shouldn't wander away from your side for a single moment so that way there's less chance she'll appear too quickly and scare you since she was already there! ♡
♡ Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling? ♡
♡ As soon as she smells you she rushes to find you with her teeth bared warning everyone else around to stay far away from you. After that she tries to remain light hearted since you always seem tense around her. She brings you little gifts constantly until she's able to convince you to move in with her, she knows her place isn't as nice as other officials but it's still a pretty decent place and plus it smells like her and who wouldn't want to be engulfed in their mates scents? ♡
♡ Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else? ♡
♡ Her true colors are very sweet and loyal, though she seems like a heartless vicious monster to everyone else, she really isn't killing and eating people for no reason, they're always either after her mate or intruding on her territory so it's only for good reasons! She's a very sweet doggy and very friendly as long as people don't come too close to her mate. You can even have friends as long as they back away the moment she starts to growl. ♡
♡ Naughty: How would they punish their darling? ♡
♡ She wouldn't punish you at all, she loves you so much, she is a bit aggressive when she needs to scold you on occasion, it's usually when you did something she considered dangerous, she'll nip at your neck and whine at how you worried you so much, please puppy, don't scare her like this. She cries and guilt trips you as a punishment because even if you can't care about your own safety please care about how she feels! ♡
♡ Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling? ♡
♡ You lose the right to privacy with her constantly breathing down your neck and constantly attaching herself to you. She's very cute so maybe you won't mind it as much but it's very annoying when she lets out a little whimper because you wouldn't let her follow you into the bathroom to be close to you. Please leave the door open just a crack, she hates not being in the same room with you or when you're blocked off from her, please? ♡
♡ Patience: How patient are they with their darling? ♡
♡ She's not impatient but she's not patient either. When you're trying to make a decision about whether or not to allow her to come see your friends with you, she's already in the car waiting for you, you were going to say yes anyways so what's the problem with her being overexcited to come with you. Any time you're trying to think things through or deciding how to let her down gently, she's already decided her answer was yes. She doesn't blow up if you say no though or the relationship is progressing slower than she wants, she's just overexcited for everything is all. ♡
♡ Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on? ♡
♡ She'd curl up at your side and die as well. If you leave or escape though then she'll spend forever tracking you down, only stopping on the day she feels you die because she dies as well, whimpering because she's so far away from your body. ♡
♡ Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go? ♡
♡ She feels guilt that you're afraid of her as she has not done enough to prove herself harmless yet. It's her fault that you view this as abduction so she needs to show that she's your mate, not your captor. She won't let you go per say but she might loosen her grip and not force you to be super close to her every time you're in the apartment until you feel acclimated and when you're back in her pack she'll allow you to wander more and try her hardest not to get sad you don't want to be with her all the time. ♡
♡ Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)? ♡
♡ Being a werewolf gave her a naturally very loyal personality and being the future leader makes her have more of an aggressive personality which manifests in aggressive affection most of the time. Plus with her darling being her mate it means that all the aggressive affection was ust automatically going to onload on you. She doesn't know where the strong drive to start a family came from though since it's not actually a super typical werewolf trait, att least not to the extent that she wants it. ♡
♡ Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves? ♡
♡ She's whining at your side, shifted to comfort you with her soft fur but that only makes you more scared. She really doesn't know what else to do other then maybe offer to give you pups so you'll be happier since your children will obviously be cute right? A family of your own might make you happy! Want to give it a try? ♡
♡ Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere? ♡
♡ She's not as trigger happy when it comes to killing, she won't kill someone just because they spoke to you, she kills if they get too close to you with intentions she doesn't like or if they flirt with you but she's not going to just kill all your friends simply because you laughed at their joke, she might growl and make them leave but not kill them. ♡
♡ Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape? ♡
♡ She's dumb and delusional so as long as you leave before she realizes you're actually running away and not just hiding, you'll be good. She tends to get over cocky with her nose too so wearing things to hide your scent makes it easier. Your best chance is to leave in her pack though because the city has a barrier so she'll find you quick there as long as she keeps looking. ♡
♡ Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling? ♡
♡ Only on accident with her intense strength and overeagerness to be close to you. She'll whine when she does it though, if you pull away not realizing how tight her grip on your arm is, she'll whine when she sees the slash marks. She hates that when she hurts you by mistake and it rarely happens since she's usually in very good control of her strength but it can happen on occasion. ♡
♡ Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over? ♡
♡ She's not really as much of a worshipper yandere, she adores you and always wants to be at your side but you're not otherworldly to her or something so above her than she must not touch, in fact she touches you quite often. She'll do her best to win you over with her werewolf charm though, anything she can do will be done for you which mostly boils down to murder for your affection. Once you have children with her then she does revere you as above her. ♡
♡ Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap ♡
♡ She doesn't pine at all, the moment she sniffs you you're her mate and she will make it obvious to everyone around that you're hers. She won't really ever snap unless you break through her delusionality. If you make her wait too long to move in though then she might get just a little bit aggressive just trying to give you a gentle push in the right direction. She doesn't really mean it to be harmful or threatening, she thinks she's being nice and you just need a push but it sure seems aggressive when she's nipping at your throat asking your thoughts about living with her soon.
♡ Zenith: Would they ever break their darling? ♡
♡ She likely wouldn't, if she even thought you were depressed or off somehow she would drop everything and take you back to her pack with her. There's no way you can be sad when you're surrounded by her family who are all in wolf form to help her comfort her sad mate. If that doesn't help maybe having some pups of your own will soothe you! Either way she will do her best to get you back to normal! ♡

cover up love's alibi (billy hargrove/reader)
Tumblr media
author's note: written for a prompt for my spooky writing fest. the request was billy hargrove/reader and billy comforting reader after ghostface calls/taunts her. full prompt is after the fic for anyone interested in ~~spoilers. title taken from 'call me' by Blondie.
word count: 4.2k
You settled into bed, the chill slinking into your room chasing you under your blankets. You had a horror movie ready to play and a bowl of popcorn on your nightstand. Your parents had gone to see your grandmother for the long weekend, leaving you alone to do as you pleased while they were two states away.
You didn't want to be alone. There was someone you wanted there in your bed with you. But you were sure he would think a night alone watching horror movies was lame. Not when there were parties or other debaucherous things to do.
You were just about ready to start the tape you rented from Family Video when the phone rang. You jumped, mentally scolding yourself for getting scared before you watched even a second of the movie.
You picked up the phone, thinking maybe it was your parents calling to check in on you.
"Hello?"
"Hello, Y/N."
You sent an unsure look down at the receiver in your hand. You didn't know that voice. It was smooth and dark and sent a shiver down your spine.
"Who's this?"
"A friend," the voice answered, teasing and wicked.
"I don't think so," you denied, knowing the voice wasn't like any you had ever heard before. It sounded almost unnatural, lending a surreal element to the call. You would have been convinced you were having a nightmare if it weren’t for the way your heartbeat spiked in your chest, causing you to shudder.
You pushed your blankets off your legs, a creeping, restless sensation taking over you. You could feel your flight-or-fight instinct beginning to kick in, but you didn't know what you were supposed to fight or where the hell you were supposed to go to escape the voice.
"Tell me...are you alone in the house?"
A chill of uncertainty washed over you. All those 'stranger danger' talks came to mind, and you instinctively said the only thing you thought would save you from certain tragedy. "No."
"Liar," the voice admonished, an amused chuckle following. "I know you're all alone in that big house of yours. Tell me, how long do you think it'll take for help to arrive? Before or after I carve into that pretty flesh of yours?"
You immediately slammed the phone down, struggling to hang up when it hit the side of your nightstand. You scrambled to grab the receiver and place it back in its cradle, breathing heavy as you tried not to panic.
You went through your options in your mind.
You could run to a neighbor's house and beg to stay there.
You could stay in your room, alone, and hope it wasn't anything to worry about at all.
You could call your best friend and hope that he picked up the phone and not his dickhead of a roommate.
You went with option three, knowing it would make you feel safest of all.
The phone only rang twice before someone picked up.
"Hello?" Billy's voice croaked across the line. It was filled with exhaustion, and you knew you had managed to wake him up.
"Billy?" Your voice trembled and you twisted up your blankets in your fists, trying to hold on to your sanity.
"What is it? What's going on?" You could practically hear Billy going on high alert, alarm and worry flooding his voice.
"I, uh, I got a phone call," you started, instantly feeling like an idiot. What could Billy do? And if there was a psycho after you, then did you really want him in harm's way? After everything that had happened to Billy since coming to Hawkins, you didn't want to add 'psycho killer' to the list of things he would have to face.
"Is everything alright? Need me to come over?" There was a sense of urgency in his voice that had you immediately begin to calm down. It was just a phone call, right? It's not like someone was over here knocking down your bedroom door, butcher's knife held aloft and ready to slaughter you.
"No," you finally decided. "It's just, the guy was being a creep. He said some pretty fucked up things."
"It was probably dumb kids pulling a prank. You know there's a bunch of little shits in this town who don't have anything better to do."
"Yeah," you sighed, trying to settle your nerves. You finally pulled a blanket back up over your legs, settling against your pillows once again. "So, uh," you started, not quite ready to hang up, knowing that Billy's voice in your ear was the only thing working to quell your fears at the moment. "You still going to leave me all alone at Hawkins Community this year?"
Billy laughed, the sound sending a bolt of warmth through you, and you felt yourself relax the tiniest bit. "Sorry to burst your bubble, but not everyone needs college to have a future. I'm doing just fine working on cars all day."
"Yeah, yeah," you groaned, rolling your eyes, falling back into the easy pattern of bickering with Billy. It was simple enough to forget all about the phone call from the creep trying to scare you, and let Billy's voice soothe you into trusting that you were safe after all.
A month later, you had managed to forget all about the creep on the phone. You had the start of a new semester to worry about and making time to waitress at Enzo's and hang out with Billy whenever you could. Your plate was full, and you didn't have time to worry about something that was obviously just a dumb prank. You were only going to focus on the important things in your life like work and school and Billy.
When Billy Hargrove and his family had crashed into Hawkins in October of '84, you thought he was a jackass who thought he was too good for the town you had grown up in. He always had a snide remark about the school or other students or the small community of Hawkins, and while you initially couldn't stand Billy, the summer of '85 changed everything.
You managed to get thrown right into the hellfest of a horror show that was happening at the mall on the night of the fourth of July. Even though you thought things had been a little weird around town, especially with the mysterious disappearance and death of Barbara Holland, you could have never guessed a gargantuan, fleshy monster would terrorize Billy, his stepsister, and a bunch of other kids at Starcourt while most of the town was watching fireworks and having a blast at the celebration the mayor had been going on and on about for months.
It was really a wrong time and wrong place situation for you, but you managed to hold your own and even save Billy's life when the huge spider-like monstrosity went after him.
The trauma and fear ended up being a great way to bond with Billy, and by the time fall had replaced summer that year, you were best friends. You helped him get a job at your uncle's auto shop and Billy stayed up late with you before your tests, helping you study so you wouldn't have to worry about failing out of college and disappointing your parents.
You went to the movies together and helped Billy search for an apartment once he had enough money to get away from his abusive asshat of a father. You let Billy drive you to school when your car finally gave up and died on you and you made sure Billy actually managed to eat a vegetable or two so he wouldn't die of malnutrition.
You were as close as you could possibly be without dating, and even though you had had a crush on Billy for the past two years, you knew he only saw you as a friend. And that was alright, obviously. That was okay, because you still had Billy in your life, even if it was only as a best friend, and that was more than enough for you to be happy.
So, it wasn't a big deal for you to be getting ready to go out for dinner with Billy. He was celebrating a promotion and pay raise at work, and you were celebrating an A on your first essay of the semester.
Your parents were out on a date, which left you alone in your house. You were brushing your hair, trying to decide if you wanted it up or down, when the phone rang. You were sure it was your parents checking in on you, or maybe Billy calling to let you know he was about to leave his place. Either way, you were completely unprepared for the voice that greeted you when you answered.
"Hello?"
"Hello, Y/N."
You nearly dropped your hairbrush, fear coursing through you. "What do you want?"
"Oh, come on, now. Is that any way to speak to a friend?"
"You're not my friend." Your hands started trembling and you hastily set your hairbrush down on your dresser.
"But I'm just calling to check on you. All alone in that big house. Must be scary."
"I'm not alone," you bluffed, trying to keep the terrified waver you could feel creeping up your throat out of your voice.
"Is that so? So that wasn't your parents I saw leaving your house half an hour ago?" The voice made a disappointed noise. “I thought friends didn’t lie to each other, Y/N.”
A bolt of fear shot through you. Was this person watching your house? Were they waiting for the right moment to attack you? Were they across the street, watching you from a neighbor’s house? Or maybe they were camped out at the payphone on the corner, choosing the perfect place to terrorize you from.
"I-I don't know--"
"But I know. I know your parents aren't home. I know you always leave the backdoor unlocked. I know just how easy it would be to find you, alone in your room, getting ready to celebrate that A you got."
"How do you know that?" There was a sinking feeling in your gut that told you there was only one way they could really know that. But it couldn’t be true, right? There was no way.
"Because I'm watching you," the voice confirmed, causing a cold wave of fear to crash over you.
You hurried to hang up the phone, hastily pulling your jacket on. You were eager to get out of the house. You didn't even care if Billy wasn’t there yet. You couldn't wait. Not if someone was moments away from breaking into the house. You shoved your feet into your shoes, not caring that the back of one was bent in half, making you limp across your room. You hurried down the stairs, making sure to grab your bag from where you left it hanging on the banister.
You could just imagine someone creeping in through the backdoor of your house, meeting you in the front hallway, their knife slicing right through your gut. You felt all the hairs on the back of your neck stand up, stumbling as you rounded the table in the foyer.
You expected someone to ambush you at any moment. You thought there would be pain and screams and your parents finding your bloody corpse waiting for them on the living room rug.
Instead, you made it to the front door, your breaths coming out high and panicked as you fumbled to unlock the front door. You swung it open, pushing out into the night, only to collide with someone else.
A scream caught in your throat as hands came out to steady you.
"Hey, hey," Billy breathed, concern laced in his tone. "What's wrong? You okay?"
"I got another phone call, but Billy, he's been watching me," you insisted, hoping he would believe you. "He knew about my parents being gone and that I was alone and that our backdoor was unlocked."
"Hey, calm down," Billy soothed, running his hands up and down your arms, trying to quell your shivering. "I'm here now, alright? Nothing's gonna happen to you as long as I'm around."
"But what if--"
"No," Billy was quick to cut you off. "No what if's, alright? You're safe. I'm with you."
The adrenaline was quickly fading from you and you felt yourself begin to shiver even harder. "Fuck," you gasped, pushing into Billy's space. His arms wrapped around you, bringing you up close against him. He was so warm and felt so safe that you couldn't help but burrow in closer, taking comfort in his presence. "Just get me out of here, please," you begged, no longer wanting to stay in the house.
"I got you," Billy promised, starting to lead you out to his car. "You're safe with me."
Billy took you out for ice cream and you spent hours in his car, listening to Billy tell you about all the obnoxious customers he saw every day. You didn't even notice when he moved closer to you, his arm coming up to wrap around your shoulders. It felt natural for you to rest your head on his shoulder, delighting in the feel of his laughter soaking into you the closer you got to him.
By the time he drove you home, you realized you didn't want to leave his side. Being with Billy felt right to you and you hated that he was about to leave you while he went back to his apartment. When he pulled up the driveway of your house, you almost asked him to stay. You thought about sneaking him into your room, not caring if your parents caught you or not.
But you didn't, because you were a coward when it came to asking for what you really wanted. Instead, you settled on gracing him with a kiss on his cheek, wondering if it was just your imagination that his head turned just the slightest bit in your direction, as if he wanted to meet your lips with his.
It wasn't until you started drifting off to sleep that you thought about the creepy phone call. Billy had managed to distract you so fully from the all-consuming fear you had felt only hours before. You wanted him there with you, but you weren't sure if Billy felt the same. As far as you knew, he only wanted you as a friend. It was frustrating and painful not knowing his true feelings, but you hoped that if he felt anything more for you, then he would be the one to take the plunge and let you know.
Days and weeks passed, and you didn't get any more threatening phone calls. You were starting to feel safe at home again, so of course, it wasn't long before you got a phone call, and another one, and then another one. One let you know this stranger knew you went to Hawkins CC and another told you he knew about your job at Enzo's. You got the creeping certainty that this person was stalking you and you worried that they wouldn't stop until you were dead.
After every call, you immediately called Billy. He got so used to it that he would start answering within one ring, asking if you were alright and telling you he was on his way over. Billy could be over to your house within seven minutes, meaning that if anything were to really happen, then you would just have to give him a call.
So, when your parents told you they were going out of town for another weekend visit to your grandma, you didn't freak out. You knew that if anything happened, then you could just call Billy.
It was the night your parents left when your situation became even more horrifying.
You started some popcorn, waiting patiently for it to finish cooking in the microwave, while you thought about which movie you wanted to watch. You were filling up a glass with water when you caught your reflection in the window above the sink. You didn't notice anything off at first, but then you noticed there was someone in your backyard.
They wore a black cloak with a hood pulled up over their head. A mask covered their face, instead showing a ghost's face, black plastic for the eyes, nose, and elongated mouth. White surrounded the rest of it, lending a ghastly, eerie visage set against the backdrop of your backyard.
You stumbled back, hitting your hip against the counter behind you. You scrambled for the phone, your brain a whirlwind of thoughts, not sure if you were going to call the cops or Billy or anyone who could help you against an intruder. You rushed towards the phone in the front hallway, cursing when it slipped out of your hand in your haste.
Your hands were shaking as you dialed Billy's number, scolding yourself for not making sure the doors were locked or all the windows were closed. All you could think about was getting Billy there, because you knew he would never let anything bad happen to you as long as he was around.
You saw a shadow move past the front windows, and you pressed the phone to your ear, desperate to hear Billy's voice.
"Hello?"
That wasn't Billy's voice. It was his dickhead of a roommate.
"Randy, it's Y/N. Is Billy there?"
"Nah," Randy answered. "I think he went to see you or somethin'. You two doing it yet?"
"Fuck," you hissed, hanging up the phone. At least Billy was on his way, you couldn't help but think. But what if he didn't make it to your house on time? There was a crazy, psychotic lunatic running around outside your house. It was likely he would be able to break in before Billy could even get to your house.
You took a deep, shuddering breath, trying to decide what the hell you wanted to do. What were you supposed to do? You couldn't go outside, because that was where the psycho was, waiting for you to try to make a run for it. And if you stayed inside for much longer, it would only take one broken window or picked lock before you were no longer safe.
You jumped when there was a knock on the front door. You waited, fight and flight mashing together in your brain, so you stood there in the front hallway frozen in uncertainty.
"Y/N? It's me."
You let out a pathetic, relieved sob at the sound of Billy's voice. You rushed towards the front door, rushing to get it open so Billy could come inside.
"What's wrong?" He asked the moment he saw your panicked state.
"There was--and I--I don't--," you struggled to say, unable to pull in a breath.
"Hey, hey," Billy soothed, stepping away so he could try to make eye contact with you. "Calm down. I'm here now. Everything's fine. Just take a breath, alright? With me. On one, two, three," Billy counted, leading you in a few deep breaths so you could calm down enough to tell him what happened.
Once you finally calmed down, you ushered Billy into the house, triple checking that the front door was locked.
"What's going on?" Billy asked, watching you in concern.
You heard the microwave beeping insistently, so you lead Billy towards the kitchen, figuring you could kill two birds with one stone. "There was someone in my backyard," you explained, pointing out the window above the kitchen sink. You saw the mask again, this time hanging from the branch of a tree, and stumbled back into Billy. His arms wrapped around your waist, pulling you close to him.
"It's alright," he said, keeping his voice level. "It's just a Halloween mask, right? Halloween's coming up and someone just probably left their mask in your tree to freak you out. Let me go check it out, okay?"
"No," you refused, turning in his arms to hold onto him. "It's a trap or at the very least a stupid idea. There was someone out there, Billy, I know it."
"Nothing's going to happen to me, okay? I'm just going to grab it and see if they left anything else behind. Lock the door behind me and I'll be right back."
You shook your head, but Billy still pushed away from you, leaving you standing in the middle of your kitchen while he unlocked your backdoor. You watched him as he crossed your backyard, easily plucking the mask from the tree, and turning back towards your house. You saw him turning the mask over in his hands, slipping a piece of paper out of the mask.
He knocked on the backdoor, waiting for you to unlock it to let him back in the house, and then showed you the note that had been left in the mask.
I'm watching you
"Y/N, what the hell is going on here?"
"I think it's the same person who's been calling me and stalking me. Billy," you said, moving to grab the note from him and brandishing it at him, as if he hadn't been the one to find it. "I'm scared. This guy, whoever he is, is messing with me. And I'm scared it's going to go past phone calls and watching my house. What if...," you trailed off, trying to steady your voice when it began to waver from fear. "What if they break in while my parents aren't here? What if they want to hurt me?"
"They won't," Billy assured you. "Not while I'm here."
You took a deep breath, working up the courage to ask Billy what you needed to.
"Would you...," you started, losing your nerve.
"Would I...?" Billy prompted, giving you an expectant look.
"Would you stay here? While my parents are out of town?"
"Y/N," Billy said, stepping into your space. "I'd love to." He bent forward, pressing a kiss to your forehead in reassurance, before giving you a hopeful grin.
Billy went around the house with you, checking that the doors and windows were all locked. You made another bag of popcorn and pulled Billy up to your room, propping your desk chair up against your bedroom door to give you a sense of security.
Billy led you towards your bed, waiting for you to get under the covers before he turned out your lights, leaving your bedroom lamp on so you wouldn’t get too freaked out. He grabbed your copy of Grease, knowing it was your ultimate comfort movie, and pushed it into your VCR. It wasn't long before Billy joined you under your blankets, grabbing a handful of popcorn and shooting you a pleased smirk.
This was totally new territory for you. Billy had been in your room and you had watched a movie with him before, but it had never been with the expectation that he would be staying the night with you. In your bed. In your empty house. Just the two of you.
You sang along softly to the songs, delighted when you realized Billy knew all the words to Summer Nights and didn't mind rewinding to watch Hopelessly Devoted to You in order to watch it twice, since it was your favorite part of the movie. By the time the movie was over, Billy was pressed up against your side, his arm around you, and your head on his shoulder.
Billy's fingers were tapping out a nervous rhythm against your side, prompting you to look up at him. You were so close to him, you could feel his breath on your face, and a thrilled shiver shot through you at the realization.
"Thanks," you whispered, even though it was just the two of you alone in the house. "For being there for me. For always being there for me."
"Nowhere else I'd rather be than with you," he said, his eyes briefly glancing down at your lips before meeting your eyes again. "Y/N, there's something I--"
You cut him off, hastily pressing your lips to Billy's. It felt like the only thing you were meant to do. Billy felt right, you told yourself. He was there for you for everything, and you had wanted him for so long. The fact that he was there to protect you from the phantoms of the night and dropped everything to be right there with you proved that he was the one for you.
Billy immediately pressed back against you, his arms tightening around you. "I got you," he murmured against your lips, his hands trailing down your sides. "I've always got you," he promised, before you shushed him, pulling him impossibly closer to you.
---
Billy let you lose yourself to him, because it was all he had wanted since he met you. You. Just you. And everything you could give him. He wanted your attention and your love and your trust. He wanted to have you in his life every day and he wanted to know everything on your mind and hear everything you could possibly say.
It had taken a little finessing to prove his worth, but he knew in the end you would come around. You would see he was right there all along, ready for you to see that he was perfect for you.
As you drifted off to sleep, safe in his arms, he reminded himself of something he needed to grab from downstairs before he went back to his apartment to pack a bag of clothes.
Even though he had you, he couldn't rule out the possibility that he would need his mask again.
Halloween was coming up, after all.
full prompt: could you if possible please write a slasher fic where billy hargrove is ghostface who is tormenting reader with eerie phonecalls to upset her just so he can comfort her as billy because they're really close as friends i.e mutually pining after each other but Billy's idea to get your affection is to protect you from danger, soothe your anxiety and stay over night with you for safety but obvs he doesn't want you in any real danger he just wants you to think your in danger so he dons the ghostface mask.

Well, that's Sonic X finished. Yes I still really like the show.
Firstly, season 3 is a bit mixed. The first half it struggles a bit to find it's footing with the rhythmic "new planet, Metarex stole the egg but are still there for some reason, fight ensues". It gets pretty tedious. Honestly, at this point I was missing the human characters and their antics. Like Mr. Stewart shadowing everyone as if he was coy, Rouge having Topaz to bounce off of, Ella and Chuck... I wanted something to spice it up.
However, the second half, after the Emeralds get scattered again, it starts being less formulaic, having reveals and turns into some good entertainment.
Although, Eggman stuck out to me as being particularly not great this season. First half when he's causing trouble and such is fine, but then when he becomes a sort-of double agent and starts looking out for Sonic and his friends...I just didn't like that for Eggman. It was framed more as fatherly-oversight instead of Eggman perusing his best interests. It only happened a few times in season 1 and 2, so it was easier to overlook there, but it's prevalent enough in season 3 for me to take issue with it.
On the plus side, Shadow is actually enjoyable! I didn't care for how Shadow (or SA2 in general) were done in season 2, but I liked what they did with him here. He's kinda neutral, clashing with Sonic and trying to kill Cosmo, but at the end of the day his interests are still to stop the Metarex and save the universe. He's cold, but his actions show he does care, he just has his own way of doing things. Plus he is a bit of a showoff.
I still think season 1 overall is my favorite with 3 in the middle and lastly 2. Man the Discotek subtitles made season 2 worse...
I also went into this biased that the changes between the dub and sub were negligible. Perhaps because the dub isn't as fresh in my mind as when I formed that opinion, but the sub is definitely my preferred version now. I prefer the Japanese voice cast (I wish Cream could have an English VA as good as her Japanese X one, high pitched yet so soft spoken...it's so easy on the ears) and the music is so much better.
The biggest difference for me is Chris. I actually liked him. I can't exactly narrow down why, he used to annoy me, but that wasn't an issue this time. Maybe I've grown up, perhaps the writing frames him better in the sub, maybe it's this specific translation, I can't tell.
Are the dialogue changes that huge? No. Don't get me wrong, there is a difference, however the show's plot is still the same and understandable in the dub, which, makes sense. The story has to follow the animation. Like I said earlier, the translations between these two languages is somewhat subjective and sometimes sentences need to be shortened or made longer to fill the space. That's why plenty of lines carry the same or similar meaning but are said in a different way.
Yes, the writing is better in Japanese, hell everything is better in the Japanese version and I think that applies to season 3 the most. Could I recommend it over the dub? Easily. If possible, watch the original version. Although if you really can't stand subtitles and want the audio in English (or only have access to YouTube where the Japanese version doesn't have English subs), is the dub acceptable? Also yes, it'll do.
You do have to deal with the censorship in the dub, though I've been aware of it since I was a kid. The animation censorship is silly and stupid, but aside from Chris getting flung in season 2, I didn't think the cut scenes removed much of value. However, while I didn't like the beginning of an episode reusing the end of a previous one during bingeing, when coming back to watch more after a few days, it was a nice refresher. A reminder of a time when you had to wait a week to see what happened next instead of bingeing an entire season in a day. I liked it even though it isn't necessary in this day and age.
As said before, this was not my first time watching X in Japanese. I saw it several years ago and this series rewatch was moreso an excuse to say I finally used the Blu-rays I spent money on.
If I had to rate it, 8/10, maybe even an 8.5. Solid show where there's some very high highs and the lows are still quite enjoyable while the cast is mostly faithful to their game personalities. There's a reason this show has reigned supreme in the fandom for such a long time.
Coming off of Frontiers, it was a nice reminder that yeah, Sonic is still good.
Anyways, I guess next is Boom, although I rewatched it like a year or so ago when I bought the steelbook. I've seen it so many times, I've practically got the show memorized by now. Spoilers: I like it a lot.

Was in a fanficcy mood, this is based on the megaflora Shadow from @son1c
"Shadow?" Sonic asked, even though unbeknownst to him, Shadow could barely hear him over the start of loud voices in his head, "You good?"
It took Shadow a bit longer than normal to answer, trying to think past the noise. Sonic frowned, helping him sit on a nearby stump. "Don't worry! I'll get some help! Maybe the others have an idea of what's going on..."
No...no, don't leave me alone...!
"Be right back!" And in a blur, Sonic ran off. Shadow hissed in pain as he began to hear the voices grow louder, unsure of where they're coming from, but there were so many, they were so loud...
He got up from the stump, stumbling as he tried to follow Sonic only to feel something wrap over his foot and trip him. He hit the ground with a loud grunt, the voices getting even louder and...curious...
Voice? Mouth? Who? Collective? Space. Black Arms. Brother. Host.
No...stop it!
He growled, trying to push himself to his feet, only for the vines and grass beneath him to wrap around his legs tightly, trapping him. He tried to claw away, cut through the vines, before he felt them wrap around his wrists and arms, yanking them out from under him and flipping him onto his back, pinning him. The voices grew louder...
Genetic. Weapon. DNA. Gerald. Maria. Chaos. Energy. Strength. Infinite.
Mephiles
Shadow
He struggled as he felt the strange collective poke around in his head, trying to fight back. He felt them growing smarter, their words becoming a sentence. Their sentences a paragraph. He gasped in agony as he felt his memories be tapped into, going to scream before some more vines quickly shot to cover his mouth, effectively gagging him as he began to twitch and yell and struggle harder to no avail.
He got flashes of his memories appearing before his very eyes, briefly distracting him before he found himself back in reality after each flash, trapped in the cycle. The Ark, Maria, the GUN soldier, his first encounter with Sonic, the revelation of what he was made for, Maria's wish, the biolizard, everything was put on display to the megaflora, even memories he didn't remember having...
Then came the more recent memories... fighting Sonic to stop him from messing with the Paradox Prism, racing after him...watching him shatter it and narrowly avoid getting hit with the resulting blast...
He twinged in discomfort, feeling them brush against that memory, replaying it again. Again. Again.
Our creator...our TRUE creator...you know him...don't you Shadow?...
That voice...it sounded too familiar...
We were simply planning to...kill you while alone, but then we found a....connection...you're just like us...you could be an asset...we need a mobile unit, not tethered to the roots...we need a voice to speak for our collective...we want you...and I'm afraid you don't have a say in the matter~.
Shadow suddenly jerked in his binds, eyes wide as he felt his consciousness start being ripped away, overwhelmed by the sudden influx in voices and information, causing him to twitch and jerk and fight, oh that won't help you, he could barely breath from the pain, it'll end soon, he tried to scream but with the vines over his mouth, it came out muffled, choked, stop fighting, let me go, I don't want this, his eyes screwed shut as his screams continued, the voices too much, too much, GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!
...and what would do to us, if we don't~?
Silence. Shadow slumped to the ground, unmoving. The vines pull away as if burned. Shadow slowly pushed themselves up to a sitting position, eyes still closed. They opened after a bit, and if one were to see them, they would say they were emotionless. The hedgehog got up slowly, stumbling to its feet, getting used to having a mobile body, it's never done this before. It could get used to this.
Welcome to the collective, Shadowflora.

Chan/Minho
Mature | 999 words

As soon as Minho stretches out in bed, ready to wind down for the night and maybe read the last few chapters of the book he's been into lately, there's a loud crash. One that suspiciously sounds like it comes from the kitchen.
He sighs, closing his eyes for a second and rubbing his face. He'd thought Chan would stay in his kennel for the rest of the night. But apparently not.
Dragging himself out of bed, Minho walks down the hallway and around the corner as quietly as possible. As expected, the pan he had sitting on the counter is now on the floor, but less expectantly, Chan has a small sleeve of cookies clenched between his teeth and is dropping back to the ground on all fours.
Minho silently watches him struggle to paw at them for a moment, arms crossed over his chest. Chan's usually not one to get into things he shouldn't, especially without permission, but there's certainly a defiant streak in him that Minho has to deal with from time to time.
Chan huffs, frustrated. He's kind of cute like this, so far gone that he can't comprehend using his fingers, but Minho knows he'll still have to reprimand him. Especially when he aggressively shakes his head and the cookies rip out of the package and scatter across the hardwood.
Chan bends down to eat a cookie off the floor.
"You're getting crumbs all over the place," Minho observes, smirking as Chan's head whips around.
As soon as Chan sees him, he spits the rest of the cookie that was in his mouth out with a squeak.
"Chan," Minho's voice is steady, firm, as he takes a step forward to assess the mess. "What are you doing? You know you're not supposed to be in the kitchen without supervision. Or be eating snacks this late."
Chan lowers his head in guilt, whining quietly. He has enough decency to look sorry at least, but after playing so intensely earlier, Minho decides he can afford to cut him some slack this time. Minho shakes his head, grabbing for the broom and dustpan. "Go back to bed, Channie. I better not hear you up anymore tonight, you hear me?"
Chan whines louder, nudging his head against Minho's leg, stupidly cute with his round puppy eyes. Minho shoos him away with a soft smile and Chan crawls away.
It only takes about thirty seconds, long enough for Minho to be throwing the wet wipe he used to clean Chan's drool off the floor with away, before there's a crinkling of plastic in his peripheral. He turns around to find Chan curled up in the corner of the living room with the cookie plastic in his mouth.
"Chan!" Minho raises his voice, startling Chan slightly. "I told you already, it's bedtime." He points to his kennel, but Chan doesn't move.
Minho sighs and starts walking toward him, prepared to drag him to bed himself, but before he gets there, Chan bolts off across the room. Even on all fours, he's still too fast.
How annoying. All Minho wanted to do was relax tonight.
Chan pauses in the hallway, plastic still between his teeth. He looks like he'd be wagging his tail if he had it in. It's obvious that he's in the mood to play, even though he should be exhausted, even though Minho is exhausted.
"Spit that out! You're gonna get choked!" Minho shouts, exasperated as he chases him down the hallway and into their bedroom.
Chan's got his head shoved under the bed when he catches up to him, lower body scrambling as if it'll help him fit in a space that's clearly too small for him. He looks so ridiculous, Minho can't help but smile.
"Come here, you stupid fucking dog," Minho says, fighting against a laugh. Chan's struggling only makes him laugh harder. He drags Chan out by his hips and shakes his head in disapproval. "What's gotten into you, huh? Did hyung not tire you out enough today?" he asks, trying his best to sound stern, but his fondness betrays that slightly.
Chan's panting, tongue lolled out as he looks up at him, like he doesn't quite understand what's so wrong about playing. He tilts his head and paws at Minho's thigh, barking once softly.
"Bad," Minho reprimands, showing him the piece of plastic.
Chan pouts for real this time. Minho knows he never particularly wants to be bad, not even when he's fishing for punishment on purpose.
Minho scratches the top of his head, ruffling his hair. He loves Chan, even when he's being a brat like this. "Gonna listen to me now? Bed?" he asks, tired.
Chan turns around and starts crawling back through the hallway on his own, which is a relief. Minho really didn't want to have to pick him up off the ground and haul him through the apartment on his own. Chan plays his dog role really well, but he sure doesn't weigh the same as one.
Following behind him closely to make sure he doesn't get into any more mischief, Minho squats down and waits until he's curled up on his pillows inside the cage before closing the door.
"Should I lock you up, or are you gonna behave?" he asks, and Chan just yawns, pulling his favorite stuffed animal close to his chest. Minho smiles. "Okay then. Goodnight, Channie," he coos, reaching inside to scratch behind Chan's ear and give him a firm pat on the hip.
Chan hums vaguely in response, eyes fluttering closed at the contact.

An hour later, with one more chapter of his book left, Minho hears rustling from the other room. Putting his book face down on the bed and pushing his glasses farther up his nose, he takes another deep breath.
Seems like tonight he'll have to pull out the harsher treatment to make Chan behave.
But that's okay. Minho has a weak spot for making his pretty puppy cry.

003; the read through

summary: the one where ej and andy reunite after years when they're cast as love interests, finally rekindling their friendship and maybe getting something else out of it as well

Ashlyn and Andy walked through the halls on the day of the read through. Andy fiddled with the hem of her shirt, nervous.
She had never had such a big part in a show before and it made her completely nervous. She didn't want to mess this up.
What also made her worry was the fact that she was going to be playing opposite EJ Caswell, with the man being her love interest on the play.
The two watched as EJ filmed some weird video, Ashlyn running up to him and grabbing a hold of Andys hand to drag her along.
"Say hi to my cousin and my next door neighbour. They are the best. Peace!" He stopped the video, smiling at the two girls as they walked to the theatre with him.
"You're in a good mood, Caswell," Andy said, pushing her hands into the pockets of her denim jacket.
It had become surprisingly easier to talk to him since they started doing the production, neither of them feeling too awkward about their past.
"Thats just for the fans Andy. Inside, I'm a bucket of sad," he explained, Ashlyn laughing at it.
His smile deflated and she could see that he felt awful about his role as Chad even though he was Troys understudy.
"You're still not over the not getting Troy thing?" Ashlyn questioned.
"I put three years into this drama department and now I have to understudy my girlfriends ex," he said with an agitated expression.
"I know it sucks. But maybe it'll be good for you to not get what you want for once," Andy said and he scoffed.
"Why would that be good?" He asked, jokingly pushing her shoulder in annoyance. He smiled down at her and she rolled her eyes, hiding a smile.
She hated that he was making her smile, that she was finding joy from her old best friend.
"Yeah, maybe some people just are what they are," Ashlyn said with a laugh before both the three of them walked into the theatre.
They walked into the theatre, the girls looking at their assigned seats, Andys next to EJ and opposite Ashlyns.
Andy chuckled as she watched Big Red become forced to read the stage directions. He, however, struggled to read out the directions.
"So, you, ginger and Bowen are friends?" EJ asked, leaning over to talk quietly to her as Miss Jenn gave some speech.
"Yeah, what do you want Caswell?" She asked and he chuckled, he always did at that nickname.
"You really refuse to say my real name don't you," he said with a smile and she shook her head.
"Do you not remember our pact when were 9 and 10?" She asked and he smiled to himself.
"Of course I do, but I'm with Nini so being called Eej is off the table. You could call me EJ though" he said with a chuckle and she sighed.
Back when they were younger, she made a pact about their nicknames after watching pride and prejudice. He then promised to only call her Ands if they dated and she'd call him Eej. It was something she thought he'd forgotten but he clearly hadn't.
It was implemented after Cash joked to her father that the two of them were going to to end up falling in love.
"I'm sorry, but if you two would stop nattering like an old married couple, we could get on with the read through," Miss Jenn said.
Miss Jenn tried not to smile as they pulled apart awkwardly, not realising how close they really were.
"Please take your neighbours hands," Miss Jenn said, eyeing Andy and EJ.
Andy reached over and grabbed Big Red hand, not really caring as he was practically her other brother.
But then she looked at EJ, both of them awkwardly meeting in the middle, hands dangling off the table but still connected.
It felt weird, being this close to the guy she liked but also knowing that he had a girlfriend. But she couldn't fight the feeling
"Feel each others energy, in a world full of no, this is a space of yes," Miss Jenn said, looking at everyone
Andy was painfully aware of EJs hand in hers, also aware that he had a girlfriend he was totally enamorued with.
She withdrew her hand, leaning it against the desk and he did the same thing. But it was almost like she could feel the heat radiating off of his hand and it felt wrong.
Andy pulled her hand into her lap, listening as Big Red stumbled over his words, everyone dying inside.
"And that's Act One. Let's take a break,' Miss Jenn said, many painful minutes later.
Andy stood up, looking over at EJ before walking away with Big Red and Ricky, leaving the situation.
Tumblr media
Two days later, after Ricky and Ninis mini melt down at dance rehearsal, they were all gathered around a box, Miss Jenn unpacking something.
She pulled it out with a gasp, unwrapping it from the bubble wrap. It was an old phone. "Here it is people," Miss Jenn announced.
"Is that a garage door opener?" Seb asked, sharing the same confused faces with everyone else.
"No. This is Gabriellas phone, from the film," she stated and everyone gasped, looking at it, "I plan on creating a time capsule display in our lobby,"
After all of that, they grabbed their scripts. Ashlyn and Andy watched as EJ turned around, mouthing a thank you to Ashlyn.
"What the hell is going on?" Andy asked and Ashlyn shrugged her shoulders, understanding nothing at all.
"I don't get what you see in him," Ashlyn said, dipping on her drink as she looked at Andy.
"See in who?" She questioned, not knowing what her best friend was talking about.
"My cousin, EJ Caswell," Ashlyn said and Andy snorted, not believing what she heard.
"I don't see anything in him," Andy promised, shaking her head.
"Sure, you totally don't have a crush on him," she said with a chuckle, pushing her friend playfully.
Ashlyn had always seen the way that the two of them had looked at each other when they were younger and she knew something was going on between them.
"Oh shut up," Andy said, taking another sip of her water before walking away. She looked back, sighing as she saw Ashlyn and EJ standing talking.
What had she gotten herself into?
Tumblr media
After school, she stood of her house when she heard her name get called.
Andy turned around to see EJ standing there at his house, waving at her, "Can we practice some lines?" He yelled out.
She furrowed her brow, confused, "We only just finished the read through?"
He shrugged, jogging over, "Come round mine, please?" He tilted his head to the side, giving her those big pleading eyes, "Just an hour of practice,"
She sighed, knowing that she wasn't going to be able to say no to him. She reached for her backpack which she had dropped on the floor whilst looking for her keys, slinging it over her shoulder.
He took that as a sign that she wanted to come and his face lit up like a little kids on Christmas.
"What scene?" She asked, starting to walk next door.
He followed like a lost puppy, catching up to her, "I was thinking the bit where they are in cahoots to stop Troy and Gabriella?"
Andy chuckled, standind outside of his door, "Cahoots?" She questioned.
He laughed, shrugging, "I don't know what else to call it," he reached for the doorhandle before stopping and turning back to her, "Nobody's home, it'll just be us"
"That's fine, as long as your girlfriends cool with it," she teased.
His face dropped a little and she was unsure what to say but then he opened the door, ignoring the comment and leading her upstairs.
Of course she knew the layout of the Caswell house, she had been there enough times and she knew which way she was going as she walked to EJs room, muscle memory taking her there.
He looked back at her before opening the door to his room. It looked the same as it did before, but different at the same time.
"So, you have your lines?" He asked and she nodded, pulling them out of her backpack.
He sat on his bed, patting the space next to him. EJ pulled out his lines and she went to go sit next to him when she saw a picture of Nini on his nightstand.
There was a pain in her chest. She recognised the frame, the exact one that a picture of them from her 13th birthday used to be in there and it hurt to know that she'd been replaced by Nini.
Even though she was never dating EJ, it was weird to see another girl take up the space in her time.
He saw where her gaze was and looked at the picture, "She looks great there doesn't she?"
He didn't even notice that she was bothered by her replacement. When she saw the smile on his face, she didn't bother him about it.
"Yeah, you must have had fun at camp," she said, putting on a dmile.
"It's the best," he said.
Andy sat down, opening her script. She looked over into the distance, not knowing what to say in response.
That's when something caught her eye. She saw the picture of the two of them that she had mentioned earlier pinned up onto a picture board.
It was slightly covered up by a picture of his water polo victory and one of him and Ashlyn but it was still there.
A smile grew on her face as she realised that he did still care and that it did still mean something to her. Her stomach fluttered a little bit at the sentiment and she looked back at the script, face a little red.
"You ready Andy?" He asked and she nodded, picking up her script and getting ready.

PLS TELL ME HEADCANONS
I HAVE SO MANY THERE ARE SO MANY!!!!! I'm going to use this ask to talk about what I think happened in the immediate aftermath of Resi 4 tho!!
Okay, first, I don't think Ashley's rescue was covert at all! Leon doesn't just get to jetski to a designated landing spot and fly off into the sunset without the Spanish government getting involved and causing an international incident BECAUSE THAT WOULD BE TOO EASY. It's a very public affair, and while Leon is protected and never really reaches the limelight, Ashley has to publicly defend herself and her father in a media shit show (my zine piece in @relentlesszine is about Ashley coping with this!)
Anyways, after the initial confusion/chaos of American/Spanish officials struggling to find a solution on what to do, Leon and Ashley are rushed to a Spanish hospital once it has been confirmed they were infected by an unknown parasite. They're both in shock, but Leon takes it upon himself to endure the brunt of it: the interrogations, the questionnaires, the stressful explain what happened parts. He's still in fight-or-flight mode, and his only goal is to protect Ashley in any way he can. Eventually, they're to be separated and put into isolation chambers where they will have no contact with the outside world until they've been completely assessed by a team of doctors. Leon doesn't take this well. It's too familiar, it reminds him of when they took Sherry, and he'll be damned if he lets the same thing happen to Ashley. He adamantly refuses until they allow him into the same ward as Ashley (he's not violent about it because he's very aware of the situation they're both in, but he's not exactly nice about it either-- he's not going to let Ashley from his sight until she's in her father's arms). They wind up in separate rooms next to each other.
The ward is the hardest part for Leon. The doctors won't just let Leon stay by Ashley's side since he needs to be evaluated too. They make him lie down, force needles into his arms, take care of him-- which he thinks is a waste of time. They need to focus on Ashley.
He can't sleep. He wants to go home. He wants to take Ashley home. He wants to be anywhere but in this hellhole of a hospital. Every time he closes his eyes it's a different flashback. The villagers, innocent people turned monsters-- people he had to kill, people he lost count of killing. Luis and Mike, watching good people, his friends, die. Ada...God, he doesn't understand why he keeps going back to her. He doesn't understand why he trusted her. Dying is better than dealing with this. He wishes he could ask for morphine, but it'll just be another chance for someone or something to hurt Ashley.
This is how Ashley finds him, sneaking away from her room one night after being repetitively told they can't visit each other. He sits up from his cot when he realises she's there, all the worry in his face turning to relief. He wants nothing more than her safety and happiness.
“Ashley?”
“Sorry Leon, I couldn’t sleep.”
“Me neither.”
He gestures for her to come closer, offering space at the end of his cot for her to sit. They stay like that for a little while, the silence washing over them with the unspoken knowledge of what they'd been through. Leon does not mind the companionship, but can't help to feel guilty about everything that had happened. If he was better, maybe they'd already be home.
“I.... I want to thank you.”
Leon knows he should acknowledge it, he knows he should respond with grace, but the sinking feeling in his heart deepens. He doesn't deserve her thanks. He could've, he should've done better.
He settles on a “don’t mention it” with a wave of his hand, no big deal. He hopes it is enough, he doesn't want to think anymore. He can't look her in the eyes.
“Leon, I—"
“I said don’t.”
It comes out firmer than he means it, and when he looks up at Ashley to apologise it's too late. She’s already crying, ugly sobs filling the room as she gets up to leave.
“I’m sorry I’m such a burden! You should have left me to DIE!" are the only words he gets before she leaves.
Leon feels awful, and he's so so angry. It's not her fault for being kidnapped. It's her fault for being used to control her father. It's not her fault only one man with no info and little help was sent to save her. It's not her fault a sick man destroyed the lives of hundreds of people. None of it was her fault, but he knows nothing he can say right now will change her mind. So he lets her be and lies back down with his nightmares.
Later, after the doctors have done their rounds, he sneaks out to find her. She’s curled up on her cot, the vision of a young girl who has gone through hell. He knows the feeling, he remembers it well.
“Go away.”
“Ashley, I just want to talk,” his voice is soft, resigned.
She hesitates before stretching out a little and sitting up, patting the cot next to her with a tiny "okay."
Leon sits down, the silence once again enveloping them as he works up the courage to speak. The words feel thick in his throat. He never expected to be here again, having this conversation again. It's all a little too much, but he knows it's his responsibility.
“Well?!” Ashley snaps at him. He flinches and looks down at his lap. She's angry too, he figures. Angry, sad, and scared.
“I guess I deserved that,” he frowns, nodding to himself. She's about to say something else when he cuts her off, “Look. I’m sorry for how I spoke to you earlier." Good. An apology is a good start. "We went through a lot. It's a lot," he pauses, the full weight of what has happened on his shoulders, "But we’re here now...Together, and I wouldn’t have it any other way."
It's then that he looks up at her, all the earnestness in his eyes. “You’re not a burden. Without you, we wouldn’t have made it-- I wouldn't have made it." He reaches for her hand, pulling her up so that she can look into his eyes. "None of this is your fault. Krauser and Salazar and Saddler did this, not you," he pauses for a moment, all the emotion welling up in him..
"I am happy you're alive.”

LSDJLKSDJFLKSDJLFJS anyways this ended up turning a little fic-ish?????? SORRY lksfjlsjfdslf this is how i think it happened tho and it lives in my mind rent free lsdfjlskdfjlsdfj
Leon loves Ashley the way he loves Sherry and they are trauma bonded for LYFE. He's been through what she's going through and he wants nothing more than to take all the pain away and give her a normal life, the only things he wishes for himself

heheh Yuna I love seeing you wholeheartedly embrace your coffeeshop era <333
& my order is one iced americano with one pump of chai syrup & our beloved kirishima kiss kiss
there's a commotion outside the agency.
you're not sure what it is, and why there's a huge flock of people waiting around—if it was a fight, red riot would've come out of his office and broken it up already; and if it was a bunch of adoring fans, security would take care of it.
so why is there a massive crowd gathering outside in the sweltering summer heat, on a random afternoon in the week? and why are the agency staff—sidekicks, marketing, the support team, and holy shit, is that Dynamight himself also making a beeline for the crowd outside?
you'd love to head out and investigate as well, maybe get in a quick walk around the block to stretch your legs, but you sit back down in front of your laptop. the agency can only afford to hire one receptionist for now, and that's you, which means you won't be leaving your seat any time soon.
you sulk from behind your desk as the agency staff slowly trickle back in, toting large cups of what looked like iced coffee and sweet tea. dynamight saunters back in behind a group of ladies from public relations, an americano in hand and a latte in another. you catch sight of a familiar face gracing the cup sleeves—spiky hair, stunning abs, and a smile so bright it could rival the sun. it's red riot.
holy shit, did someone order a red riot-themed coffee truck?
"it was denki's idea." a familiar voice rang out from behind you. "said he wanted to congratulate me for jumping up the ranks."
you turn to see kirishima, hair still dripping wet from his post-patrol shower. you struggle to keep your eyes on his face, and not on the water droplets that pool in his collarbones and trickle down past the hem of his shirt.
"oh, right— congratulations on number five, red riot!" you squeak, nails digging into your jeans. "well deserved, sir!"
he thanks you with a shy laugh. "i'll keep doing my best." kirishima's eyes trail over to your desk, noting the lack of an iced coffee on it. "do you not like coffee? last i heard, the truck serves tea as well."
"oh, i can't leave my seat."
"it'll only take a while, c'mon!"
"the line looks pretty long, though," you say with a wince. "but really, i'm fine! i'll take a look at the truck after work."
"hmmm, denki said it'll only be here till four, though." kirishima frowns. then he breaks into a smile, the change in facial expression happening so fast you nearly missed it. "wait here."
and he's gone, jogging off to where the truck was. you watch with equal parts embarrassment and honour as the crowd parts for him, your heart roaring in your chest. that must've been the longest conversation you've ever had with your boss in the past few months you've been working here—and now he's jogging back to you with an armful of four, no, five different drinks with a bright smile gracing his face.
well, that's it. this is hands down the highlight of your career.
"i wasn't sure what you liked, but it was my fault for not asking before i left—so i got a bit of everything," he explains, setting the drinks down on your desk carefully. "this is iced tea, this is iced mocha, this is, uh, oat milk latte, and this is just hot green tea. i can get you a honey stick if you want. and this is an iced americano with some chai in it."
kirishima concludes his ramble with a deep breath, looking immeasurably proud of himself for remembering everything.
"thank you so much, red riot. you really didn't have to." you can feel heat flaring up to your ears as you speak, a foreign twist settling in your stomach. "i'll take the americano."
"aw, don't call me red riot. just kirishima is fine," he replies with yet another smile, and there it is again—the strange fluttering in your tummy that makes its way up to your chest.
"thank you, kirishima." you test out the sound of his name on your tongue. you like it, you think. you'd like to say it more often.
kirishima picks up the mocha and crushes half of it in a single sip. "no problem!" he chirps with a grin. "anything for you."
send me your drink order + a character for a short little drabble!

It was a late night out with your friends, crawling from bar to bar. As the night went on more and more of your group retired for the night, eventually leaving only you walking the streets.
Maybe it's time for you to quit for the night and go home… until you see it. A bright purple neon sign flashing in the dark streets. Maggy's. On the sign is an alligator opening and snapping it's jaws with each flash of the sign.
Maybe a couple more drinks wouldn't hurt.
Punk rock is blaring inside the bar as drunk women grind up against each other in the booths. The bar stools are empty though… no bartender in sight either, but you still make your way up and have a seat.
"Hey there hun. First timer?"
She stomps her way behind the bar. There is a LOT of heft behind this woman, nine feet tall and packing a hearty layer of fat. Her tank top is fighting hard to not tear and unleash her breasts, each one about the size of your head. She smiles her sharp teeth at you as she pours a shot on the counter. The shot glass looks so small in her scaly claws. She slides it towards you.
"I'm Maggy, and lucky you. You're the big 100, means a free shot."
Without a second thought you down the shot. She giggles at you as your vision gets hazy… everything feels like it's getting bigger around you. Maggy reaches over and picks you up by the back of shirt with just two fingers, dangling you in front of her face. "Don't you worry sweetie, it'll wear off come the morn… I think at least."
Only a couple inches tall, panicking and struggling in her grasp. She groans watching you, "Relax! You just get to spend the night with me, after my shift at least. Until then…", she lowers you down onto her cleavage and with just one finger she shoves you deep between her sweaty mountains.
"Just a couple more hours hun. I can't wait to play with you~"

Creature of Soul Matter: Before Evil and Shattered Souls
Chapters 1-7 (because I want to get to putting the actually good chapters out as fast as possible.)
next ->
Everything's after the break.
I can barely stand straight trying to get out of a blinding daze. Almost lightheaded, I find myself looking over the Jamba Heart. Four spears, with a heart at the top of each, stuck into it.
We had done it! I quickly realize, we sealed away Void Termina!
I sit down, putting my hands down behind me, with a loud sigh of relief. Everyone jumps a bit and turns to look at me.
"I couldn't agree more." Galacta Knight teases. I huff a bit as a laugh almost cuts off my breathing.
"Har har."  I sarcastically say "So, where should we put this thing?"
Gartihall looks at it with a singe of distaste. "I don't want anything to do with that thing anymore. Let's leave it to the Halgraws." She was quite short tempered and bubbly for a hooded Haligrawn and not very technical either, being able to do small spells, which is VERY different.
"Fair enough, but what should we do in the meantime?" Plaige asks. "I don't suspect we can just leave it." She is quite nice, crafty and knowledgeable. She comes from a place called Planet Popstar and is very closely related to a thing called a Waddle Dee. Apparently she has more figure compared to a Waddle Dee such as Arms, Legs, Torso, a more defined face that isn't a blob... A Neck… maybe closely is over exaggerating. She apparently only has the eyes, patterns and colors of Waddle Dees but that's enough. She also wears some entirely navy blue clothing
"Perhaps not, but we're in a completely different part of the universe! It'll take a while for the Haligrawnes to pinpoint our location and send a Lor! In fact we're so far out that the Halgrainises might even struggle to find us!" Gartihall exclaims. Everyone waltzes over to me and sits as we think up a plan.
"So, we'll watch it... and once we start to get tired, we'll take turns watching." I explain. Everyone nods in agreement and I had my suspicions that I would regret this decision, but perhaps it was the only one.
~-~-~-~
I'm watching the Jamba Heart, almost asleep with how excruciatingly bored I am. My friends all are sleeping in some shrubbery we found nearby - somehow that was alive on a floating ancient structure, but hey who's complaining?
I had found out that I could see my reflection in the heart, though it was very distorted. I'm currently trying to catch a glimpse of my eyes to see how tired I can possibly look. Also the Jamba Heart, I had found out, was a little smaller than me. Which made me feel even more big and clumsy, seeing that I already dwarf my friends.
Suddenly there's a bright blue light to my left. I look and with all the relief pouring out of me, I tiredly exclaim "Finally!" as a Lor ship, followed by a few others, come through the rift.
The light is enough to wake my friends. They all come over, still tired, and each promptly sit back down, waiting.
"Took em' long enough." Gartihall mumbles. I nod in agreement.
As they begin to close in on us, we all stand and try to look as formal as possible in our tired states.
The first Lor arrives and brings out a bridge to let Commander Rinlog walk to us.
"You all look... exhausted." She says.
"What do you expect?! We just sealed away the destroyer of worlds!" Gartihall shoots at her.
Rinlog sighs, "I understand that you're tired, but you could at least show some respect?" she questions. To my surprise and relief, Gartihall doesn't snap back, she's probably too tired to fight right now, and I'm too tired to try to keep her mouth shut.
"So, may I see this Void Termina containment?" she asks.
"Oh yeah, of course!" I say.
We lead her over to the Jamba Heart.
She watches it for a moment, "Fascinating, the magic of the Halgrainises is truly stunning." She comments.
We stand there for a movement, looking at it. Then Rinlog brings out a Starphone and starts directing all the Lors. There's a sound above as the one of the Lor ships comes through the roof. I wince watching this ancient structure be so carelessly destroyed, but I keep my mouth shut. The two other Lors come through and a small crew come from each. A long chain drops from them and the crews begin attaching them to the heart. They quickly finish and clamore back up, Rinlog hops onto one of the chains, taps on her suit and it puffs up and a helmet shoots over her head, like some sort of space suit.
"What's that for?" Asks Plaige "Are you not just going through a portal to base?"
"Ask Elfilis! He'll tell you!" She yells back as she flies away.
Galacta Knight snaps around to look at me. "Elfilis, care to explain."
"Well… it's a bit complicated but basically, the Jamba Heart can't go through portals." I'm about to end my sentence when I think of the next question they'll probably ask. "I was told this before we set out. So that I didn't try to send it through a vortex and ruin it."
"Makes sense, but why not tell the rest of us?" Demands Gartihall.
I shrug, "No clue." "Anyways... let's go home." I open a portal to home base and one by one we all step through.
~-~-~-~
The instant we come through that portal, every child in the line of sight, surrounds us. I look over to Gartihall and as I expect, she's mumbling to herself. She really hates being talked over, and the only things that talk more then her, are kids.
"Oh come on, cheer up! They're treating us like hero's for once!" I whisper to her.
She turns to glare at me, puts on an angry, toothy, pretend smile and looks away.
On the other hand, Plaige's having the time of her life, talking to the kids and messing around. She rarely gets to talk to kids because they seem to find her "creepy" and "uncanny" and tend to avoid her, but this time they were too invested in her stories to care. Today, they saw her as a hero.
And Galacta Knight seemed to have an entire fan base and could barely move; of course he would, he's probably the coolest looking one out of all of us.
I look around and find that there seems to be only a few who dare to get close to me, the rest just starred with pure awe or fear. I understand this reaction, I might seem like a giant to them with long claws and giant wings. I even understand that some of them might have heard stories of my species ruthlessly attacking and single handedly conquering entire planets. Though they have now all been sent to an inescapable pocket dimension and I have long suppressed that invasive urge, they still have their reasons to be scared, and it still hurts all the same.
I feel a tug on my right wing and turn around to look, a boy's standing there and almost freezes when my eye catches his.
"Yes?"
"Umm, El- eh- Elfi-"
"Elfilis" I offer.
"Right." He nods "did you really seal away… uhm… the big… uh, scary thing?"
I sigh and shake my head, smiling. "Of course we did, we wouldn't come back unless we were sure you would all be safe." One of the biggest smiles I've ever seen spreads across his face at hearing this news. I lightly chuckle as he runs away calling for his friends.
There's a loud noise overhead and I look to see the three Lor ships holding the Jamba Heart, closely followed by the fourth Lor, fly over to the base.
"Come on guys, let's go meet them there!" I yell as I fly past. I hear wing beats and a warp star behind me as my friends pursue me.
We arrive at the landing sight just before the ships do. As they stop and start lowering the heart, everyone tenses up. If anything went wrong it could release Void Termina onto this planet and it would be a massacre. Eventually the heart is safely put down and the world seems to let go of it's breath, immediately some Halgrainises run over, take off the chains and put a barrier spell around it.
Commander Rinlog comes from the now landed Lor ships and yells to everyone in the vicinity, "No one, and I mean NO ONE, is to come close to that heart unless permitted, do we have an understanding?"
Everyone nods and most went back to their lives.
As the crews come through, Rinlog selects five of them and commands them to guard the Jamba Heart. After which she starts walking towards us.
"So, I suppose you want to know how we're going to make it so the heart isn't so fragile?" she asks "Well the Halgrainises are currently working on a spell to make it impossible to open or break."
"Truly impossible?" quizzes Galacta Knight.
"Hopefully"
She gives Galacta a weird look then walks away.
-
"That was really… weird..."  Plaige comments "It's as if that was the wrong question to ask."
Galacta Knight just sighs but Gartihall is not okay with this.
"Oh? So there's now right and wrong questions?!" Gartihall demands, infuriated. "Can these people make up their minds and maybe not get mad at us for saying things we didn't know were wrong!?"
"Okay, we don't want to draw attention, but I do agree it doesn't make sense." I say, trying to calm her down.
We stand in silence for a moment, before we set off.
"Where should we head to talk about this?" Galacta Knight asks. "Maybe our sleeping quarters?"
We all nod and walk away from the heart.
~-~-~-~
We have a room in a large building meant for people who are powerful in magic, training to be powerful, and people who could accidently punch a ten foot deep hole in a moon powerful. Though there aren't very many of the last kind.
I don't fully get why we are set in there with them. Sure we accidentally hiccup every once in a while, but it's never been anything particularly groundbreaking.
We have a room at the edge of the building, our neighbors tend to know strong barrier spells just in case one of us have the aforementioned power hiccup, though they haven't had to use those barriers yet.
As we are walking down the Loomstone halls someone steps out of their room holding something. When they see us, their eyes widen as they probably try to figure out what to do. Then they do something I would never expect.
"Hey, you four!" He has a higher voice then you expect, he must be a bit younger then most.  "Can you test this barrier spell I just made?"
"Sure, why not?" Plaige says before any of us could answer. She turns to us, "I mean it wouldn't hurt."
"Great!" He exclaims.
He puts the barrier in the middle of the hall and floats it up a bit then locks it in place. Plaige walks up first and decides to use a basic sword on it, but it doesn't even budge.
"Cool!" she exclaims. She then pulls out her custom Intasteel Sword, a material harder then diamond, and slashes. The barrier doesn't crack or dent in any way, nor does her sword. "Huh! That's a pretty strong barrier!"
Galacta Knight goes next without saying anything. He pulls out his lance and  slashes it as well, nothing. He then does some sort of slash combo, nothing. He gestures to me. Guess I'm next.
I summon my spear and poke the barrier a bit, and I get an idea. I set up my spear behind me and make it corkscrew. The one who made the spell even took a step back. I step out of the way and have my spear drill into it. There is a loud crack and shortly after a shatter, the barrier has broke.
"Huh, well, it may have broken, but it was still a very strong barrier." I tell the now slightly heart broken looking Halgraw. "You did write down how to do that spell right?"
"Oh yeah! Of course!" He quickly replies, he looks a bit less distraught after I told him it was still a great spell.
I look behind me as the door shut, to see a slightly frustrated Gartihall.
"I wanted to try breaking it." She says when she sees me looking at her. "I felt it would've been a good and fun way to let out some of my frustration."
I bark a laugh. and we go back on our path.
We didn't really talk on the way there. But as soon as we open the doors, Galacta flies over to his perch and sighs.
"It's good to be home." Plaige breaths.
We enter to the left of the room, it has two windows on the opposite wall from us; our room was larger then usual so that it could fit the four of us (especially me). We have two beds, for Plaige and Gartihall, one perch, for Galacta Knight, and none for me because, as everyone quickly discovered, I cannot sleep peacefully on my back.
"Oh hey!" Exclaims Gartihall "they fixed the hole I made!"
Almost right before we left for our "defeat and capture" exposition, Gartihall was practicing one of her spells, in hopes of improving, and a once small spell quickly became a large, uncontrollable spell that blew a hole in the corner of the room.
"And the roof."  I say looking up.
In my sleep I accidentally shot up and went straight through the roof. To this day we don't know how I opened my wings wide enough for that and I don't know what dream I had and why it did that to me.
Galacta looks down at his perch.
"And my-"
"Okay we get it, they fixed our room." Gartihall interrupts.
We remain silent for a moment.
"So why did Rinlog act like that?" Plaige asks, more likely than not reminding everyone - including me - on why we came here.
"I have no clue, it was very... odd." I reply.
"It's not like it was a multilayered question with hidden reasons behind it." Galacta says.
"Galacta's not being held accountable for his curiosity, right?" Plaige asks
Suddenly Gartihall looks up at us. "Wait Elfilis, so you know any places you can hide in that command building?"
"Maybe… what are you getting at?"
"Maybe you can go to one of those spots and eavesdrop."
We stare at her.
"It could work. Do you think you could?" Plaige says, turning to me.
"Only if you guys want me to."
"We do, if they're plotting anything against Galacta Knight, we need to know"
"I too, care about my safety." Pipes in Galacta.
"Okay I'll do it. But only because you want me to." I think of a place where I could plan and open a portal there, I then walk through.
~-~-~-~
I open the other end of the portal behind the command building. This is between two buildings, with just enough room for me to fit. I take a moment to think about my plan. I do have a few spots I can hide in, but I haven't been here for a while and don't know if things have changed.
I can put my head through a portal to see if I can see one of my old spots or any new ones, but there's a chance that I'll be spotted.
...
So I could just decrease my chances of being spotted in the first place by making the portal on the ceiling maybe?
... ...
I could use some of my abilities to help, but my size is the most limiting factor here.
Now comes the hard part; I need to open a portal somewhere in there, stick my head through and get some details. I take a deep breath, think of an old room that I can remember, open a small portal, flatten my wings against my back, and shove my head through.
On the other side I find myself in a small-ish room with a table, a few chairs and a bunch of boxes. There's one person in the room who looks like they were moving the boxes out of the way.
They must of heard something because they were looking around, clearly confused. In a fit of panic I put a little too much of myself through the portal and fall through.
I land right on top of the Halgraw, knocking them out instantly.
I look down at the Halgraw and feel slightly guilty but also relieved that nothing worse happened.
I use a portal to put them behind the building, and an idea comes to me. This room seemes like a meeting room and it looks like that Halgraw was ment to prepare it. I start to move the boxes into a corner where it looks like a poorly stacked pile, but has a hollow inside. I open a portal into the hollow interior and hide.
Soon after the door opens and some people come in. There seem to be three of them and I immediately guess who they are; Commander Rinlog, Master Tearories and Maniluce the Peacekeeper.
I hear some of the chairs move and they all take a seat.
...
Master Tearories sighs and begins to speak to Rinlog. "Commander, why have you called us here?"
"Well you see, I have a concern. It's about the four."
I tense up. I knew it was most likely going to be about us, but it's still frightening.
"I too, have my concerns about them, you go ahead and say yours first."
"I have my fear that they may try to rebel and attack us, perhaps to overthrow us or for power. maybe even the heart so that they would release the destroyer upon us."
What?! It takes all my power to not launch out then and there, attack and tell her how wrong she is.
"And if they were to try? They couldn't do anything against us, there's too many of us and most of them are quite lacking in power."
"Not before they left, but the only reason they could seal Void Termina was because they are each pure embodiments of their respective matter."
"Ah yes, that is correct." He replies "Galacta Knight, Heart matter; Gartihall Borialis, Dark matter; Plaige, Dream matter; and finally Fecto Elfilis, Soul matter."
I almost stop listening so I can think. I knew that for some reason we were the only four that could seal Void Termina with the given spears, but I didn't know it was because we were all a different pure form of one of the life matters! I'm also not used to hearing my full name.
"Yes, and we all know even having a little bit of one of those matters in pure form will make you incredibly powerful."
"And yet Plaige and Gartihall seem to not be very powerful." Tearories finished "In fact I'd go as far as to say that Galacta Knight and Elfilis aren't too powerful. So what is concerning about that?"
"Well my point is that after setting out and clearly sealing Void Termina they may have unlocked or found their true potential, and with that they may be angry with us for not telling them earlier."
"Possibly leading to a rebellion."
"Exactly, and with a rebellion they would most likely underestimate their strength and destroy everything."
...
This is an outrage! These accusations are so absurd that it's almost ludicrous! Wait there had to be more to this. I let my mind slide into Tearories.
{"If they have as much power as we believe, and they use this power to rebel, I would surely be shown to no longer be the most powerful and most likely replaced by one of them or outright destroyed in the crossfire. I must stop this, hopefully the Commander has a plan."}
So he's worried about his power position. I move onto Rinlog.
{"They must be stopped before they can do anything, attack before attacked, this much power should not go unhandled, something needs to happen... but what?"} I quickly drop out of the commander's mind. It's too chaotic in there right now. I would go mad with all of her thoughts on top of mine for too long.
She has genuine misplaced concern about safety.
I do not dare go to Maniluce, knowing all too well how much anarchy goes on in their head. It's like one thousand people in a single body.
I hear speaking again. "So Commander, what do you suggest?"
Rinlog seems to snap out of a trace. "Ah, yes, what should we do about this. Well let's see, I give it a day maybe a week before they try anything. So we must do something today."
I heard a sigh, Maniluce must be bored being forced into something where they have no say and nothing to do.
"Well, we can attack them, banish them, contain them or send a message to the rest by doing something to one." said Tearories.
"We may still need them for anything that may happen in the future, but not all of them, so I say we send a message."
I swear, if you dare hurt one of my friends, I'll send you straight into the core of a star in your waking minutes of sleep… if only I could.
"Well let's see. If they've unlocked their true power, I don't think we can do much to hurt them, and attempting to banish them may cause an early attack. So we are forced to resort to containing one of them, but who?"
"If their true strength is there, then Elfilis with his portal abilities will be possibly untouchable. So he's off the table."
"Plaige should also not be sealed away, I'd rather not go to war with that planet."
"Gartihall is one of us, we could be turned on by our own kind of we seal her away." Rinlog finishes.
"That leaves Galacta Knight." My heart sank... while going as fast as a Lor ship and felt as hot as the surface of a star. "We don't know where he came from, what his species is or how trustworthy he is. He may be Heart Matter but if he's tied to his friends, he would not hesitate to attack us… He's the target, isn't he?"
~-~-~-~
I almost immediately leave, but I want to get some more details.
"This all lines up so perfectly. We've thought that he would do something eventually, perhaps for answers to things we don't know. And has given me reasons to be suspicious of him now." Rinlog determines.
"How do you propose that we execute this?"
"I'll leave that up to whoever I have lead this operation."
...
...
"When perhaps?"
...
I start to panic.
...
"Why Tearories, I'm glad you asked, this will be put to fruition… well right about now! I had a group sent to gather them a short while ago. By force if necessary."
The panic takes over.
"Comman-"
I'm practically blind when I open the vortex below me. I don't know where the other end goes. All I know is that it was out of this building.
On the other side, I find myself where we had originally ended up when we came home. I look around for the building with our room and quickly spot it.
My panic isn't allowing me to concentrate and make a portal, so I take off as fast as possible. The ground blazes past as I zip through the air, barely even able to process whatever I look at.
I don't have time to go through the front doors, so I fly to where our room should be and summoned my spear. I slash twice, forming a cross section, and burst through the wall.
On the other side there is... nothing, no-one there exept a large mess and some rubble. I snap my head up to see that most of the roof is missing.
I fly through trying to spot where they may have gone and find faint traces of a poorly closed portal.
Suddenly there's a bright light. I look in the direction of the great light and see that it's coming from a nearby small planet. The light intensifies and fades, leaving behind a gargantuan crater.
"Well, at least no-one lives there." I mutter to myself.
I thrust my wings as hard as I can and fly for the crater.
When I begin to near the epicenter I see who's involved. All of my friends are there and there seems to be 10 to 12 others all facing off.
One of the warriors at the front is yelling something.
"D- you s-- w-y thi- n---s -- - app-n?!"
I fly closer.
"No! You'r- the o-es that at----ed us wi--out warn---!" Gartihall loudly retorts.
A little closer.
"Also I couldn't ever do that before! It's not my fault I apparently blow everything up when you attack my friends!"
The leader makes a motion and four Haligrawnes jump Gartihall while the rest hold back Plaige and Galacta Knight. A fight commences.
I try to fly faster so I can help, but I'm unsure if I can make it.
Everything's so loud below. Plaige is just trying to keep her attackers back while Galacta quickly dispatches his, knocking them all back and onto the ground.
There's suddenly a loud scream as Gartihall is sliced across the chest…
Fury shoots through me, and the same must've happened for the other two as Plaige began fighting back her aggressors and Galacta shoots over.
He fights his way through and comes to one of them with a weapon of sort at Gartihall's throat. He rams into the attacker as hard as he can.
Fury must've overcome him because while the warrior was on the ground he slashes. His lance seems to be glowing the brightest of white as he did it. But the warrior sees it coming and rolls out of the way just in time.
As his slash misses and collides with the ground, there's a blaring light. Followed by the sound of cracking and explosions. When the light cleares everyone seemes to forget they were fighting to see that Galacta Knight was now seemingly glowing. And that the planet had been split in two.
~-~-~-~
I don't know what they see from below, they might not even know what had happened to the planet. But from my angle I can see almost to the core.
But I am still trying to fly to them.
Nothing happenes at first but then I see the magma begin to move, gravity pulling it back in place.
This is a normal planet, not a star planet! I realize, Everything's going to start breaking!
Suddenly, lava begins erupting out of the slice. Everyone quickly backing off, even Galacta Knight, and the ground around it starts breaking.
The two halves of the planet are being pulled back together, and they seem to be tearing each other apart in the process.
I'm too busy looking to notice the ground that was now right below me.
I ram into it with so much force that a small crater forms around me. I feel a bit winded after that ordeal, but stand up and summon my spear before the dust settles.
When it does, I find myself looking in the direction of everybody and see plenty of stunned faces. I must've looked like a stray meteor before arising.
I plant the back end of my spear in the ground stand a little taller, and look down on the warriors.
If I act intimidating, maybe they won't try anything.
It seems to work for a short time, but then I notice that there's only eleven of them, one is missing.
I dart my eyes around trying to find them but don't see anyone. I turn to the left to see if they're away from the group, but only see the planet breaking even more, the cracks quickly approaching. Lava rapidly pouring out.
I whip around to see the twelfth warrior, slowly creeping up on an exhausted Galacta Knight, with a weapon in hand.
I take off, bursting through the air, moving with so much speed, it surprises me and startles everyone who's watching.
The one sneaking up on Galacta doesn't notice me yet though. As I approach, I see the group leader look to where I'm flying. Their eyes widen and they yell something.
The creeping one looks up and sees me. It looks like they mutter a curse to themselves, shaking their head, and begin to run. But not in the direction I thought they would, but straight for Galacta Knight.
I force myself to fly faster and quickly get to a point where I'm so focused on flying faster that I only half notice that my spear is dragging along the ground.
I'm almost there but someone gets in my way. It's one of the warriors and he looks ready for a fight.
I sigh. Do they like being an idiot? I have to slow down so that I can open a vortex under them.
They yelp as they fall. I close the vortex and pick up my speed again.
I'm nearly there and preparing to plant down when I fully notice that my spear was digging into the ground.
I arrive almost too quickly and just barely manage to stop. And immediately have my spear at the attackers head.
"Listen, I don't like killing people but if you take one more step to any of my friends, I'll be forced to."
It takes him a second to comprehend what I said, but when he does, fear splits across his face. Then I see an orange light to the right of me and look over.
Where my spear had been dragging is now a slash, with heat pouring from it.
"Huh." I unenthusiasticly said, "I guess my spear shouldn't be dra-"
Cracks suddenly appear at the farthest point. I forgot the planet was falling apart! The cracks from the splitting point of the planet had reached where my spear started its line, and is now following said line to us.
The other half of the planet very close to our half now.
I realize that it's not going to be a simple click back together, but that It'll most likely destroy most of the planet, killing everything on it.
I'm too distracted to notice that the group leader has brought out a device of sorts and is aiming for me, but Plaige does.
She yells to me "Elfilis watch out!"
I turn just in time to see a net and tranquilizer dart fly to me while the rest of my friends get attacked.
The dart hits first, pain spontaneously flares in my chest and I immediately feel dizzy. Then the net hits and knocks me down. There was a shock, the net must've been electrified.

Darkness
Sound the only color, but barely there.
Clashing of weapons, flashes of white.
Screams of pain, overwhelming red.
Silence,
Hear something but maybe not.
Struggling maybe.
Bits of orange.
Vortex
Couldn't hear but feel.
Blue as things went through.
Someone screams
A name
Elfilis
Light but no color.
Cracking, loud and clear, dying planet.
Cracks of yellow.
Crashing
Two halves of a planet.
The loudest noise.
White straight down the middle.
Suddenly no more noise, suddenly no more color. No more blackness.
Only nothing.
Lost in my own mind, but also not.
But I can feel something covering me.
Then even my mind goes,
Nothing.

Day 12 [Klaus/ Zed/ Lucky]
Prompt: "Take me instead"
Klaus
Klaus couldn't believe his eyes, trapped by the blood breed that had tried to turn him. You had been blindsided as well, Klaus forced to watch helplessly as you were tossed to the side like a ragdoll. Both of your best attempts were thwarted in swift actions only for the blood breed to completely disregard you in favor of Klaus.
"Now then..."
It sneered down menacingly, and Klaus struggled to move. How did this creature get the upper hand? Why was it after Klaus again? Mr. Abrams had sealed that part of him away, it would be pointless for the blood breed to try and turn Klaus at this point.
"Wait!" Klaus's fearful gaze turned to you as you cried out, "Take me instead."
The blood breed's sneer curled up into a sickening grin. Klaus couldn't even feel his own heart beating. He wanted to stop you, he needed to stop you. Klaus didn't want to lose you like this. He didn't want to lose you at all.
~~~~~
"Nooo!"
Klaus sat up in bed with a roar. Startling you right off the other side causing you to crash to the floor. Your head popped up, ready to fight... something. But you were just met by the sight of your lover panting heavily, eyes shut tightly, hands sliding over his face.
It made you hesitate to climb back up on the bed, you didn't know what made Klaus react like that.
"Klaus?" His head jerked up, swiveling to see you standing beside the bed, "Are you okay? Do you wanna talk about whatever you just woke up from?"
You panicked when you saw tears forming in Klaus's eyes, scrambling up on the bed to try and comfort him to the best of your ability. Only to be squished in the tightest of hugs as Klaus buried his face against your neck.
Whatever had spooked Klaus, you knew it had to be horrible... and likely a dream where he lost you in some way.
.
Zed
This was harrowing. Zed couldn't think of a way out of this situation at all. He knew going to a comedy show like this was a bad idea. There was a huge spotlight shining down right on top of him, several people either clicking their tongues in disgust or urging him to go up on the stage.
He blamed you for this nonsense. And he would refuse to accompany you to any other "oh it'll be fun" social ventures for quite some time.
Zed never should have raised his hand to take your place on stage like that. He regretted saying "take me instead" to a bunch of performers whose job was to make fun of people.
Sure, he meant to do it to keep you from dealing with the social anxiety of being up on stage. But he detested how many "fish-boy" jokes were being thrown his way. It was as if he were surrounded by an army of Zapp doppelgangers, at least personality-wise.
You would owe him something when all this was over with. Maybe a quiet day at home for once... Zed would have to think about it, that's for sure.
.
Lucky
How was this a normal occurrence for you? Lucky had to stop and ponder the severity of the situation, despite you constantly trying to tell him this was not the time for that.
"Just move!" You frantically pushed your lover through the trees, "You can think about this later Blitz!"
"But--!"
You shoved Blitz into a small hollow of a tree, he was jammed in just so he couldn't wiggle out. Not for his lack of trying. But it was far too late, the metamorph entity that had been trailing both of you was gaining, fast.
"Move mortal." Its voice was raspy, cold. Like a winter wind over a frozen lake, "I seek the other."
"Why?" You were trembling all over, but standing your ground. Well, shifting to block the creature at every movement, "Why do you want Blitz?"
"It is inevitable..."
"Take me instead!" Everything seemed to freeze in place, especially Lucky from his squished position in the tree, "If it's a pound of flesh you need, then take me!"
The cold laugh the creature gave off made your spine crawl, "Very well brave one. I can make do with a different human just this once..."
Lucky tried to free himself from the tree far more vigorously than before. That thing hadn't been after you at all. And yet you willingly gave yourself up for his sake.
He needed to track this thing down and fast. Just as soon as he could get free from the blasted tree!
