Listen up,

I found the perfect song for Severus in a Severitus-framework (or any other relationship, for that matter) amongst the latest hit charts 😄 It's "ANTI HERO" by Taylor Swift. I'm listening to it in a loop now and the pictures accompanying each line with Severus' life circumstances according to this trope just keep popping up in my head. I'll try to note them down according to lines, since I cannot draw comic art that well (or that much). How I wish someone would do that for me

Mis mascotas, mi cinco bebés.

Más allá de hacer un post con los dibujos de mis mascotas quería aprovechar para platicar un poco del asunto de muchos perros y gatos en situación de calle ya que la mayor parte de ellos son adoptados, rescatados de situación de calle.

LECTURA LARGA, PERO VALE LA PENA:

Todo empezó con tres perros con los que crecí, Kissy, Misha y Rin; ésta última era mi niña y la única que quedó al final por cuestión del paso del tiempo y la vejez. De ahí Rin conoció un día a Punky, el compañero de mi perra.

PUNKY: Él era un perro quien pertenecía a una vecina, pero en realidad se la pasaba todo el tiempo en la calle, paseaba con otros perros y vivía una vida bastante precarizado de muchas veces fue maltratado por gente mala e ignorante, (desde gente que llegó a golpearlo con escobas hasta con fierros) pero cuando conoció a mi Rin, quedó totalmente enamorado de ella, sólo iba a buscarla y rogaba por estar con ella, esperándola todo el tiempo afuera, hasta que la vecina decidió cedernoslo. / Actualmente tiene 11 años.

MAILO: De eso nació Mailo, el hijo de Rin y Punky, desgraciadamente y por negligencia de gente ignorante mi Rin murió protegiendo a mi madre de unos perros agresivos que iban sobre ella y Punky, dejando a un pobre Mailo sólo a sus 8 meses. Mailo siempre ha crecido en una casa en donde se le permite dormir en la cama, tiene comida y agua siempre, ya saben, lo básico aunque por desgracia no eso tienen muchos de los perros allá afuera. / Actualmente tiene 7 años

LILEY/ LILY: Mi querida y dulce Lily llegó a mi vida un día que estaba alimentando a unos gatos que viven en la cuadra de mi casa, era tan pequeña y estaba tan delgada que no debía de tener más de un mes y medio; esa noche llegó maullando con la esperanza de obtener algo que comer, por desgracia los demás gatos no la aceptaron y trataron de lastimarla. Al final y bajo mucha insistencia y tras su operación de esterilización que resultó mal ya que resultó ser de un pequeño porcentaje de gatos que son alérgicos a los puntos absorbibles pude adoptarla oficialmente un 12 de Diciembre y pasó a ser esa pieza faltante en mi vida. / Actualmente tiene 3 años

MÉIMEI/ WEN MEI: Ya teníamos dos perros y una gata y un 14 de Marzo mi madre llega a casa con una perra increíblemente despeinada y con un collar destartalado a casa; resultó ser que la encontró cerca de una gasolinera atrapada en unos arbustos, su correa improvisada la había inmovilizado y estaba ahí totalmente indefensa; mi madre la desató con cuidado y le ofreció subir a su automóvil, a lo cual ella aceptó pronto con un salto dentro del vehículo. MI niña resultó ser muy obediente y cariñosa, a veces me preguntó si es que alguien simplemente decidió abandonarla ahí a su suerte porque ella no era lo que esperaban, ya que parece ser una cruza de Snauzer pero con deformidades notorias y eso les hizo creer que podían botarla a la basura como si ella no tuviera amor para dar y mucho por merecer. Así que ahora tengo una gata y una perra. / Actualmente ningún doctor ha podido decirnos su edad.

JINGYI: Resultó que mi querida y dulce MéiMei estaba embarazada, nos entró un poco la crisis ya que no sabíamos cómo proceder pero me mantuve firme, no volvería a la calle ni mucho menos, cuidaría a sus bebés y les encontraríamos familias que los amaran tanto como nosotros a ella, y así fue, 7 cachorros fuertes y sanos, el problema fue que mi hermana se enamoró de uno a primera vista, el más rebelde, ocurrente y quisquilloso, he de ahí su nombre a cierto personaje. Fue complicado pero mi hermana siempre ha sido responsable y convencimos a mis padres de quedarnos lo, después de todo ya no estaban Kissy y Misha para calentar el corazón de mi hermana. JingYi también tuvo suerte, jamás ha pasado hambre, sed o si quiera conoce lo que es el maltrato, ya saben, cómo debería de ser con todos los perros y gatos del mundo. /Actualmente tiene 1 año.

Duele no poder darle un hogar a todos los perros y gatos en condición de calle pero por lo menos siempre asegúrate de que los tuyos sean siempre felices así como ellos te hacen feliz a tí. Y recuerdo, ellos no son tus guardias personales ni protegen tus tesoros, ni tu saco para liberar tus frustraciones, no los maltrates porque en una situación de ataque ellos serán el villano de una historia mal interpretada y hasta en eso cubrirán tus errores y le quitarás su mascota a alguien que sí los ama.

talking about jilypad, I have always wondered what would happen if suddenly one of them is taken or walk away, like stop being in that relationship, be it by choice or not. James is the balance between Sirius and Lily i guess, so if he is the one who deserts the relationship, Sirius and lily 's relationship probably will take a v platonic turn. Tbh I think S and L are platonic anyway but without james it would turn into a comfort thing, like Sirius brewing tea for a sleepless sad lily or lily slowly persuading an absolute devastated padfoot to come out of underneath James' bed sheets and turn into his human form to at least eat something. I think it would be easier for them if it is lily who has deserted the relationship. I mean, james and Sirius are codependent and in sync, so they can fix each other after sometime. Not that it won't hurt for them or lily is less important in the relationship but because they know how to handle each other's feelings. But when I think about Sirius being the one who deserts the relationship, I can't help but to think that James would blame himself constantly, thinking he had not given enough love to Sirius and feeling guilty ( specially if Sirius has moved away on his accord) I can imagine him panicking because of Sirius's sudden absence, trying and spend time on things Sirius likes ( to distract himself from driving himself crazy albeit unsuccessfully) like how a motorcycle works or buying muggle men fashion magazines, just to show Sirius how important he ( and his likings ) are to James later. He is a type who never accepts not being with Sirius. Like, he involved Sirius in his private life and marriage by making him harry 's godfather in the books. God forbid though, if Sirius is not there because he can't be there (for whatever reason ) , James would probably end up silent and numb for the rest of his life. After all this rants, now that I am thinking, it is lily who balances this two not James. Because Sirius and James practically ignore all the laws of physics in codependency. I would have said the prophecy in the book 5 ( Neither can live while the other survives ) is about them with slight change of neither can live while the other one is dead ( or while the other is away or sth like that)

ngl, i’ve never considered this bc it’s on the road to angst and my heart can’t handle it but now that i’m thinking about it…

i actually can’t see a lily/sirius working without james tbh. i mean, i’ve read the ship and it can definitely be written well but with how i see j & s, it just doesn’t compute. for one, l & s are way too similar and james is the balancing act between the two. also, sirius wouldn’t ever do anything that could hurt james & being w someone that james liked w/o him being there? man, idk. i think i also struggle w seeing sirius in a relationship that’s not james (i kinda see him as needing an extremely close bond before he’ll be in a relationship & there’s no way that happens organically w lily unless it’s a jilypad scenario). if james does, though, i can definitely see them clinging to each other for comfort, doing things like u mentioned. both of them are trying (unsuccessfully) to fill a gap that refused to be filled.

if it’s sirius who leaves in the relationship, tho? especially after they’ve had a taste of what it’s like to be together at the same time? i absolutely don’t think james would be able to go on as before. i mean, in a jily + sirius scenario, he’s already relegated s to a particular position, right? and he knows he’ll have him like that always. i’ve talked ab how i think james is super possessive of sirius and wants as much of him and his time/attention he can get so once he’s gotten a chance to have s in a relationship context, he would absolutely not want to give it up. he’ll definitely fixate on sirius to the point that james/lily won’t work either, i think.

this is gonna sound mean but i don’t think lily leaving would have a lot of impact on their existing relationship 💀 i mean obv there’ll be grief and sorrow and anger/hurt etc but ultimately, they can bounce back from it because she was transient in comparison to these two. if it’s like a,,,post harry world, there’ll be an added layer of grief bc they’re also losing the mother of their child in addition to a partner but i still think they can pull through w/o devastating consequences just bc of the strong bond they already have.
