Horton Ho 229 V3, captured and shipped back to the States. This is the one and only time it was assembled. When captured in Germany it was incomplete, the fuselage/centre section was many miles away from the outer wing panels when discovered by US troops. The Ho 229 was the only jet powered flying wing that actually flew during the war.
The second prototype, V2, was destroyed and the pilot killed on its second powered flight. This is the third prototype and was taken to America under Operation Paperclip. It was the world's first stealth aircraft, although its stealth capabilities were only discovered after computer modelling in the 21st century. For more, see my Facebook group - Eagles Of The Reich

Ahh Operation Paperclip. Back when we tolerated Nazis so long as they helped us with space travel. As oppose to now where we just tolerate them for, I dunno, conservative votes I guess.

I have been continually doing research into the history and origins of Palestine and Israel, and sort of trying to rationally piece together these things as well as I can to deeper understand this conflict. I'm not really understanding this:
WHY are the USA and Israel such strong allies?
Immediately after the Holocaust (ending 1945), the CIA, with Operation Paperclip (some sources say spans from 1945-1959, though it seems to have actually ended in the 1990s) brought over every Nazi scientist they fucking could so they could make better weapons and employ them in our government, in a nutshell.
And DURING THAT, IN 1949, THE US AND ISRAEL BECAME ALLIES. That is such a repulsive backstabbing shady thing of the USA to do, and it is FACTUAL. Does Israel not know that? Not care? Are the guns and weapons and money worth it for them to support the country that took in over 1,600 Nazis for their own personal gain despite the atrocities they committed???
This is just a general sort of inquiry in my everlasting quest for knowledge and understanding, please give me some insight if you have it. Please also let me know if I have anything incorrect here.

The boy whose exorcism was the inspiration behind The Exorcist grew up to be a NASA engineer. His work contributed to the Apollo mission in the '60s.
Nothing suspicious about this at all.

I really liked how in The Dial of Destiny, the head villain is a literal Nazi that got paperclipped. His name is Jürgen Voller, and I think he’s inspired by Kurt H. Debus: a former V-2 rocket scientist who became a NASA director. In the movie, Voller is credited with helping put us on the moon, so the government gives him enough leash to do a special operation where he ends up threatening the world. There’s parallels between him and Jones feeling like they’re relics that the world/government doesn’t want anymore, after they’ve fulfilled their material objectives. And since Jürgen helped kicked off a new fixation on space, one that’s making Indiana feel left behind (Hi Woody!), it makes the audience wonder if a Nazi finally got one over on Indiana.

The first photo from space, and the first time the curvature of the earth had been seen, 24.10.1946. It was taken by a Devry 35mm movie camera attached to a German World War 2 A4/V2 rocket at an altitude of 104km/65 miles. The V2 was launched from the US Army White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. It was one of the large number of V2s that were brought to the US under Operation Paperclip. For more, see my Facebook group - Eagles Of The Reich

Tysm for the essay you wrote that person who asked if/why America is fascist. It was really validating. Sometimes I feel so crazy because I know I live in a literal fascist country but everyone thinks I'm overreacting. The pain of that gaslighting is something I don't know what to do with. It's so personal. I've considered moving to another country just to get away from the hatred I feel.
Yes, it seeps into every facet of our life here. It is crazy-making. Not to say it is impossible to be at peace with an enjoy a life living in America, but it is in spite of the fundamental fascism that has been cooking and cooking and cooking for hundreds of years to this day.
I think the true genius of American fascism is how invisible it is to most. USA saw the Nazis, and said, "nice try, kiddo, but really, be a little more subtle about it next time, okay?" Even we kill people on an industrial scale--endless wars, supporting fascist violence at home and abroad against all vulnerable peoples, suicide, drug epidemic, overstress from work, police, homelessness, border camps, poverty violence/crime, slave prisons, chemicals lacing our food and water and air, not to mention the climate change America disproportionately caused--but our hundreds of millions of dead are not tallied the same way Holocaust victims were. America took the recipe for evil and perfected it by giving it a sugary face.
Unfortunately things will get much worse before they get better, so for people who have nothing tying them here, or who don't want to die as partisans, moving to another country is not a bad idea. I myself have flirted with the idea of leaving the West but realistically I will probably be staying here.
Thank YOU so much for the kind words, I'm used to my ask box just being lazy demands for me to kill myself. Best wishes, stay sane!

I will give it to Indiana Jones...what, 5?
They mention the REAL LIFE operation by the US government, operation paperclip, without ever directly saying it.
Nazi scientist seen in flashback of WW2 is in present day (1969) a rocket scientist who helped the first US space flight to the moon, and is protected by the US government.
THAT REALLY FUCKING HAPPENED! We let a shit ton of smart nazis get away with their crimes by coming here, and working for our government after WW2. Can you imagine? "Oh, he performed inhumane experiments, torturing and killing all ages....let's set him up with a retirement plan for giving us his data."
It's finally going Hollywood. Probably distracting us from our world falling the fuck apart...anything that isn't right now is a distraction.

Control of scientific information is a means of controlling our ideas and assumptions about things. Just as the CIA is at the forefront of propaganda on the Internet, its science and technology division is at the forefront of shaping the industries that run the world. The CIA is at the forefront of drone and weapons technology—any kind of technological advancements that only serve and enrich the ruling class. The CIA is at the forefront of that research and development, and that goes for the Internet, too.30
