ahah.... hi....i did another mask piece..... this time i based the outfit off of old paintings of royalty in satin outfits (for the specific reference i used for the fabric, it was a painting of empress alexandra feodorovna (the first one) aka charlotte of prussia)
without filters/jewels under cut because i really enjoyed rendering the fabrics and im a bit upset that the filters kinda take the life outta them LOL

I’m currently working on doodles for some Tangled inspired oc! They’re inspired/twisted from Mother Gothel, the Sundrop Flower, and the Moon Opal.
Names in progress are
Marius for Mother Gothel. If anyone has any surname suggestions please let me know! I chose Marius I think because I was reading the vampire chronicles again and I just liked the name?? I don’t quite remember 😅
Sunna Blumen for the sundrop flower. Sunna comes from the old high German word for “Sun” and is one name for the Germanic sun goddess (also called “Sól” in Norse mythology). I chose Blumen as the last name because it means flower in German.
Máni Stein for the moon opal. Máni comes from the name of the Germanic moon god by the same name and Stein is the German word for stone so it follows the same pattern as Sunna.
I imagine Sunna and Máni are either step-siblings or adoptive siblings, with Sunna being a “diurnal fae” or a daylight fae while Máni is a nocturnal fae. They seemingly get along with each other, though they don’t work together and don’t often talk about the other. Many don’t know that they’re siblings but it’s more because they don’t feel a need to talk about their personal lives to their students.

wait. fuck it
au where hollyhock was perhaps born earlier in bojack’s life (maybe when he’s around late teens to early twenties) and adopted as beatrice and butterscotch’s daughter
she grows up in a hellhouse of addiction and neglect and is probably raised with the same body image issues beatrice had when she was a child. she much like bojack escapes into tv to escape.
she isn’t aware that beatrice isn’t her biological mother and around the same time as in the actual show tries to find out who her actual mother is with the help of bojack (butterscotch is long dead by then and beatrice is of course having dementia)

@snowshinobi NO BUT LITERALLYYYYYYYYYYY
Like Maggie hates being able to see ghosts for MANY reasons, but one of the pettier reasons is that once ghosts realize she can see them, they'll beg her to pass on messages to people (People who won't believe her! Most people are going to be uncomfortable with some random teen girl coming up to them and going "btw your dead relative says hi"), but this also results in her knowing a bunch of random shit because ghosts both LOVE to gossip and also CONSTANTLY try and bribe her to pass on messages by telling her things she didn't know before.
She'll be out with Jenna somewhere and just be like "oh btw you left your keys on the counter" and she only knows this because some random ghost is trying to get her to tell someone something by telling her something she forgot
She also frequently accidentally makes eye contact with ghosts. She'll accidentally make eye contact and then do that "oops didn't mean to look directly at you like that sorry" sort of head turn, which the ghosts are like. What. the fuck. Did she just??? look at me????
That's also how the ghosts found out about her, when she was a baby and just learning how to track things with her eyes and would stare DIRECTLY at ghosts and they'd be like. what the fuck. why is this baby following where i go. what. Every ghost ever is infinitely more weirded out by her than she is by the ghosts

Crackpot C3/EXU theory time (hear me out)
According to the wiki, Imogen Temult is 28 years old. Liliana Temult left when Imogen was a baby/toddler - essentially before any real memories of her mother could stick.
Liliana goes off and travels the world in an attempt to understand herself. She changes her name, her presentation, and her identity in every new town in hopes that one of those identities will save her from the pull of Ruidus.
Eventually, around 20 years before Bells Hells met in Jrusar, Liliana finds herself in a town of merry people whose dialect sounds similar enough to her own. There, she takes the name Paloma and finds herself growing close with a man there - which leads to the unexpected discovery that she is once again, pregnant.
Lilana knew what happened the first time. The moon she had been drawn to her whole life flared and had doomed Imogen like it doomed her. Now it would doom her new child too. Except, that is, that one new child, was two new children - twins girls!
Time dragged on and Liliana couldn't stay in that loud, bustling town. The pull of Ruidus was too irresistible and once again, the mother abandoned her children to seek answers. Once again, she didn't bother to tell her lover about her abilities, or what her children may have inherited.
Look, the twins have a psychic connection to one another that their father couldn't explain. Even if they themselves were not Ruidusborn, perhaps their mother being one was enough to affect them.
If they had known that Paloma was actually Liliana Temult, perhaps things would have been different. If they had known that across the sea, their big sister, Imogen Temult, understood their struggle.
Perhaps things could have been different?

Dr. Steele, I heard that pokemon are typically the same species as their parent who provided the egg. Is that true? And if so, how do species that cannot produce eggs like Hitmontop and Grimmsnarl reproduce?
Dr. Steele: Ah, that is far from true! Most species have an equal chance among them of producing offspring from either parent. A fifty-fifty chance that comes up heads most of the time is still a fifty-fifty chance.
