Energy check-
You could have been involved in an embarrassing/ humiliating situation recently.
You could have attended some kind of funeral or death ceremony.
Made an amazing art- painting, embroidery, crochet etc.
Increased concentration.
A library visit.
If you passed the energy check then the next words are for you-
The secret hidden from you is someone you think has mutual feelings for you but that’s far from the truth as they seem to devise a plan to trap you. It seems like a teamwork situation where something seems to be created from scratch which you think will be resourceful, you could have been in lack mentality or think from a state of fear that instead of working alone it’s better to take help or be in partnership with someone but this person is using you for your resources and for their advantage. Your guidance here is to stay wise, keep your eyes open and quietude. This person has some naughty motive, they could be from your friend circle, letter A,C,P or O, you could hear them say ‘I changed plan a bit’, they could smoke cigarette and last thing I got is they might have nose bleed problem or may be they bump somewhere.
ᑭIᒪE 2
Energy check-
Something related to teeth happened recently.
You’ve been thinking to create a label from your passion.
There’s definitely something related to publication, or you owe money to a second party for business related thing.
You could have been building up strength or got back into fitness lately.
Received public recognition for your creation or you started a blog/channel.
If you passed one of the energy checks then the next words are for you-
Someone really close and I mean as close as a best friend with whom you’ve shared laughter and have a lot of childhood memories have not been very honest with you it seems. They particularly don’t mean any harm but well they don’t seem to talk nice of you in your absence. They’ve done something which was unexpected and might come as a surprise to you that they can think this way or say stuff like this about you. Honestly, I feel they’ve shared a personal secret of yours with a third person and I think it might break you along with the trust you had in them. I don’t feel they have any bad intentions for you or mean any harm. They could be a leo, an aries Or a pisces. They could wear a lot of yellow colours or their favourite colour can be yellow or red or warm tone colours. For some of you, I sense that this best friend has made your fake profile online or used your pictures online in some way.
ᑭIᒪE 3
Energy check-
You are into dark stuff more than a usual person is.
You are someone who is practical and not swayed by emotion easily.
Someone in your friend group could relate to being a panda.
Went on a vacation close to a waterbody.
More into physics or mathematics kinds of subjects.
If you passed one of the energy checks then the next words are for you-
First off keeping the reading side, I need you to live in the present. To begin with, I feel you are hiding some secret within you or it’s a cycle of toxic pattern that you don’t seem to come out of. If it’s a secret within you then start with the declutter within yourself. If you feel you are alone then you are not alone, remember if you tell your secrets to the wind, don’t blame it for telling the trees so find comfort within yourself and educate yourself so you feel better. Take life less seriously and don’t overspend your money. I feel you are stuck in some work related to some organisation or government and the secret is that the help you need is on its way to you. For some, I head that it’s an award ceremony and you’ve been waiting for it for the longest time and it’s happening. You were waiting for a promotion or a raise and it will happen but for it to happen you need to calm down and distract yourself from all the bullshit your mind has been feeding you. You could have been suffering from constipation or some stomach issues and once you learn to let the shit go, this issue will get resolved automatically. Don’t try to anticipate and don’t try to control, let the things move with it’s speed and what you want will be right beside you.
ᑭIᒪE 4
Energy check-
You could look little or have a pixie hair cut. Like green colour or have a thing for hats.
You could have a hiding place or a treasure box which personal items or a special place for something.
183 or 318 could be significant digits for you or you’re born on March 18th or you’re life path 1,3&8.
You love red roses.
Do a lot of self love.
If you passed one of the energy checks then the next words are for you-
The secret is that a big change, a huge shift is happening soon in your life. Stuck feeling is being vanished from your life. Something that you didn’t accept or you thought is out of your league is being accomplished. One of your wish is being fulfilled, may be you wanted to buy something and you finally get all the resources to buy it. It’s also that you have survived the darkest of times which pulled you down. You will finally get to experience an amazing short phase of fame. It could be online or irl in your school, uni or work environment. This fame or prosperity is written in your destiny. Honestly this phase although short will be the best phase of your life, you’ll have attention, love, money and everything you desired. It could be that you already sensed this phase of your life but were skeptical. You will overcome any insecurity that you had. I see a major glow up and if you would be wise you’ll be able to sustain this phase for a longer period. This hidden phase has laughters, beauty, good food, stability and don’t care about others judgements. It would be alarming but enjoy till it lasts.
ᑭIᒪE 5
Energy check-
You feel timid and weak hearted.
Could have served a detention in a class or you feel powerless with no freedom.
You feel dead honestly and it could be due to the environment of a particular class or work place. You feel lost and pretend that nothing affects you.
Some kind of exam stress.
A science class didn’t go well, an experiment failed or having too many inner demons to deal with.
If you passed one of the energy checks then the next words are for you-
If you are in a group of three, I see you being the odd one out because the other two have been talking about you. They find you arrogant because of your belief system or that you need to have more of a flexible approach towards certain set of institutions to collaborate with them. They probably find you in victim mentality or 24/7 in pessimistic mood. They feel you are someone who dwells in the past. They probably want you to look beyond your darkness and get over the hurt or trauma you’ve been living in. For someone they could have told you and some haven’t because they are afraid you will respond in a negative tone. I get the feeling, for some of you that they’ve been planning to walk away from you because they find you too toxic to deal with. If this is not your scenario then your hidden msg is to see the lesson in this dark time or dark environment you seem to experience. Nothing is forever and no phase of life stays for too long. Dark times teach us a lot not only about the world but also about ourselves so your guidance is to feel this darkness and the light will find you once you’ve mastered this lesson or karma. It’s all happening for you not to you.
ᑭIᒪE 6
Energy check-
Had a painful ending with a friend. Friend turned stranger.
You are single and have been searching for dates/ friends but either you or them pull back and things don’t seem to work out.
You could be into deity worship.
You could be a pisces or love to swim in pool.
Gemini/ leo sun. Favourite colour can be pink.
If you passed one of the energy checks then the next words are for you-
You will gain success in something or gained success, it could be a material success but you will abandon this success or accomplishment in search of mental peace or spirituality. The thing is that what you wished for actually happened but then after achieving you will realise that it was not actually what you wanted. It could be you get an amazing opportunity in a different city but you don’t want to leave your family. You will try to strike a balance between what you want and what you need after a lot of soul searching.

Salaam Saif! I absolutely love your art and i’m getting into learning Tatreez. When I saw your Armenian Solidarity tatreez I noticed that some stitches are clear X’s and others have that traditional thicker stitch.
I am trying to learn tatreez and can’t figure out how to get that thicker stitch. I am using Count 11 Aida cloth and one strand of one string of embroidery floss but they’re coming out more cross stitch looking than I want 😅 really sad looking skinny Xs.
Should I switch to DMC pearl thread count 8 or use more strands of the floss? Or does it come from using the sewing method vs using a hoop?
Of course, please don’t feel obliged to answer. I’m sorry for all the questions! It’s hard to find answers online when I barely speak 3raby 😓
Thank you! ❤️❤️
Salaam!! (Apologies in advance I am answering this from my phone) but I’m happy to hear you’re getting started with tatreez!
The tatreez instructions I got were from Tatreez and Tea, I’m actually using count 14 cloth for this but it was recommended in the guide pamphlet to use between 2-3 threads with DMC 6!
I personally use a hoop just to keep things visible but you don’t have to (it’s not provided in the set either) - it might also have something to do with the process of the stitch? With tradtional tatreez you usually go across with one stitch and then once you completed the line, you come back across with the second stitch to finish (I’ve heard people refer to this as the “danish stitch” so if you need a video you can search that up!)
And here’s the example from the pamphlet of the stitch:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And I totally understand trying to find resources (I don’t speak fluent arabi either so I’m mostly referencing tatreez and tea and remembering what my aunt told me abt it) but I wish you best of luck! I hope this helped a little!🫶❤️🇵🇸

are the outfits in VDtWOF inspired by anything in particular or generic in a way?
Thank you for the ask! I love getting these :p
I had the opportunity to borrow a historian's rare book on 14th century bohemian clothing after he heavily criticized the last game I had a big hand in, Rhythm of Triverz, for period inaccuracies. That gave me a convenient ceiling for the most advanced gowns and armour you could expect in the region at the time. Resources on this are extant online but many don't cite their sources and most good ones are maintained on individual german historians' websites, so I need to do more research on this in general, but here are my basic rules for designing their clothes:
Everyone wears long gowns. Hose were pretty rare in this period. Women might have slightly longer dresses
Everyone wears a plain "shift," a garment that's worn under the main article of clothing. This is the one that gets washed
Garments, even rich ones, are unicolour. Mixed fabrics and colours appear later.
There's very little embroidery or detailwork on regular clothing
A garment will be worn with a belt, which might be longer the higher a person's status, and a pouch carrying an eating knife and other personal items
Most people will wear a head covering. Married women will always cover their hair outdoors, other women might do so too, and all women and girls cover their hair in church. Most common hats should be bundhauben or gugel.
A garment can be worn with a contrasting cloak (blue/red is a common one)
Jewellery is occasionally ok, but no piercings (?)
Shoes as we know them are more 14th/15 century; no big boots. Most shoes will be more like pointed leather socks or for ladies silk slippers. Poor people might wear wooden clogs.
No or very few fancy cuts. Later on you see tunics and gugel with with triangular or even fancier hems; This possibly exists very rarely in a limited capacity on things like a noblewoman's 'Kruseler' veil at this time, but that's probably it.
No black. No one depicted in this comic would be rich enough to waste money on black dye. Nuns and so on wear undyed or brown wool.
Military clothing is more "primitive" than might be expected. Not really any fancy visor helmets or big articulated suits of armour yet, most men-at-arms and even knights wear a mail shirt and a surcoat
As I understand, and I'm more than happy to be corrected on any of this, this applies almost universally. Peasants working in the field will wear dyed colourful garments, not plain rags. If it's hot, you don't take the outer garment off, you tuck the front hem of it in your belt to expose the shift. Masons will climb ladders and haul stone in this stuff. Some labourers or craftspeople will wear an apron and other specialized clothing like a toolbelt, too.
Tumblr media
Note how Vesna wears a plain linen shift under her nicer yellow dress. I usually draw her with the sleeves all the way at the wrist, which would be the appropriate way to wear them, but she has it folded back here to make the composition nicer.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bonus: Amusing pictures of King Václav IV slaying (150 years after when Vesna is set) and the "work uniform" of a bathhouse maid

Love the patch clothing! I just bought a denim jacket myself and am looking forward to decking it out. Do you have tips or resources in how to get started? Much appreciated :)
I've only been doing this a year and a half so I am far from the perfect source of information, but here's what I've gathered over that time:
This post has a lot of really good information for painting and sewing patches. I use fabric paint from Michael's over acrylic because it holds better, but also maybe because it was a "gift" from a friend and idk if he paid the actual price for those. They also changed their brand so I can't speak to the quality of the new stuff, I just know I like Imagin8 and Tulip fabric paints from them. The colours you want to mix white or test on small scrap fabric before making a design. When painting, I sketch with pencil or get a stencil reference. Another way of painting here.
Stitching onto a jacket you can follow the first post, take sewing thread, cut a length, put through the needle, tie the end around itself [make a loop holding both ends together, put it through the other side] stitch from the inside of the jacket to start to hide that knot, pull directly away from the patch on the outside, stitch back through the patch from the bottom. If both fabrics were clear it would be a sawtooth shape you'd see.
Most scrap fabric will do fine to paint on, and I like to hem the edges to prevent fraying of my painted or printed patches but you don't have to and I didn't used to/don't always still, it's just a little stronger. and is good for thinner or loosely woven fabric like those that feel like denim.
[for info on how to hem and general sewing tips, check craft blogs, I am very devil may care with my sewing and have stabbed myself a lot. For stitch spacing use a ruler or other guide. I use my fingers it's not recommended.]
I also suggest, depending on where you're located, checking etsy or other independent storefronts online for some local/semi-local shops for screenprinted punk patches to see if anything catches your eye, but especially look for embroidered patches if you want any decent embroidery. Some are also from quite a distance but have a good shipment cost, but I try to buy local to avoid it being air mail. For punk style screen printed patches in America on Etsy that I can vouch for, I can name ZombieRufio, DeadGiants, RainbowDistribution, and DrunksWithaPress.
Punk With A Camera have some good screenprints if you're from North America, I know the bassist of my favourite local band has the "soup for my family" patch from there, and I'm planning to get it myself as well sometime soon. Bandcamp also sometimes has punk artists list their patches in their merch tab.
Other places I've gotten pins and patches is:
Scout Shops if you're again in North America, or Britain I think also has some, but that's a grab bag and usually just shapes like the dog my friend has or the raccoon I have.
Local festivals/shows, a lot of events in parks and such as community events with local artisan sellers have some cool pins and patches on occasion, I got my genderqueer pin from that. and of course local bands occasionally have pins and patches at their merch tables during and after local shows. For me, Local is the city next to mine with any actual punk venues for local shows [I think we have five places that punks play at currently in that bigger city.] but for you it could be your city, or a bit further. Look around on social media for your area. My gf found the bar I met a bunch of local punks at searching for cool places to eat in that city.
Finally, but not super useful, got a bunch from my uncle and grandfather on my mom's side in a big box from Scouting trades, so I have a big bag of miscellaneous patches from places they went to, and some just classic plain vintage patches, which definitely gave me a leg up. Stores catering to alternative fashion sometimes have old pins or patches but that's very location dependant.
For my studs, I had an Amazon gift card from a family member and bought it through there, but I can't advise doing that generally. Not really a fan of Amazon obviously. My cone spikes were a gift from my girlfriend who I believe did something similar, used an Amazon gift card. I know that other people have better places to order spikes from online if you're American, but I'm not sure how relevant that would be to you. Spikes I say be smart, do some research, be careful of being overcharged. Most of my jackets started without and just had safety pins from a drug store and scrap metal from wherever I found it and that looked really cool too.
Finally, I liked to build up my jackets in "stages" where I collect a few patches and then sew them all on close in time to one another, as it allowed me to plan the layout better, and make the final result look better to my eyes.
Now with all that very very long wall of text out of the way this is me expressly asking you to PLEASE reach out if you have any other questions, I love talking about this. Also if you post any progress pictures on Tumblr, you are required to tag me now. I want to see them.
Thank you to @genderfluid-and-confuzled for prompting the two posts I link at the top btw, He's awesome and has been the source of a lot of great conversation regarding jackets for me. My pieces wouldn't exist without you, comrade.

Almost a year to the day after first asking @its-sixxers if I could print out and bind Half Light (after figuring out how one actually does that), I've finally finished it!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She's 825 pages long, has some of the early pages warped from glue, and blood (?) staining the text block, and I am so excited to fall in love with Nines and Mary all over again. Thanks for letting me do this, it's been a really rewarding project and I got a new hobby out of it!!!
Please go read Half Light and everything else Six has written, she is immensely talented. Mary is my favourite character in Bloodlines bar none and reading her story endeared me to VTMB when the game itself did not. Six's Fallout works are also masterpieces, and I haven't checked out her newer stuff with Elder Scrolls but I fully intend to because even if I've never touched a Skyrim game in my life, I know I'm going to adore it too!
More info about the process under the cut.
SeaLemon was an invaluable resource starting out here because I barely know how to sew and I had no idea how to approach the actual construction of a book. I'm gonna plug her right off the bat because she's very beginner-friendly if anyone else wants to learn.
But before all of that I had to format everything in Word! Chapter by chapter I copied the text over from the downloadable PDF from AO3 and would scan through the fic to ensure the formatting was correct (italicization, bolding, paragraph breaks, etc). I'd do this for about an hour at a time over the course of a couple months, until I decided to do the rest of it all at once after one March night at 10PM where I decided to learn how to bind it all, because fuck it, why not. (Answer: I was freaked out about my upcoming departmental talk and this seemed like a good distraction).
Tumblr media
Printing all of it just on regular printer paper (don't know if I'd do that again in the future, but it's what I had on hand) it ended up being 52 signatures, or collections of 16 pages (4 pieces of paper) folded in half. Pierced holes in all of those using an awl and an old phonebook to hold the pages open, and then used my old embroidery thread to sew them together. This part took me maybe two days because I was just so damn pumped about it lmao. I also don't have any kind of bookpress to weight down the pages, so I had made due with old textbooks and MCAT prep material.
Tumblr media
It stayed this way for LITERAL MONTHS as I gathered all the other supplies - chipboard and brushes from my local craft store, PVA glue online, and by far the hardest part was fabric. I've since learned that you can make your own fabric using book cloth and basically anything you want (if I had known this book would have been coated in red silk I swear) but for now I just wanted to be sure it was something designed for this purpose, as the woman at Fabric Land assured me it needed something specialized. So binder's buckram! Took a while to find something local and the color selection was pretty limited, I was hoping for a dark red or a dark blue but the green was the best they had in stock. Took even longer to get here. And by that point I had enough going on that it fell by the wayside until uh.... last week.
I glued the spine, again realizing that maybe I should've just made my own bookpress but powering through with textbooks to hold things in place, and let that sit for a couple days to fully dry. Ideally it would be flat, but beggars cannot be choosers. Gave her a lil ribbon too.
Tumblr media
Not pictured because I forgot, the final text block with black construction paper glued to it to form the inside cover (would probably use something thicker/crisper in the future, something more like cardstock perhaps?). But then it came to putting the cover together! And that was just cutting chipboard to fit and gluing it correctly onto the fabric, leaving gaps around the spine.
Tumblr media
Let that dry, and then I glued the text block in and let everything sit for just over 24h, again with makeshift weights to prevent the fabric warping (it's the second book from the bottom).
Tumblr media
And then tada! Finished book! (This one's from before it was pressed but it looks the same now)
Tumblr media
All in all extremely cool to hold in my hands and I look forward to the next fic that makes me this insane. If I get permission to do The Sun Is Now Fading I might take a crack at that and make a little set! Follow your dreams and one day you too will be able to take notes in the margins of your favourite Vampire the Masquerade fic.

Hi! I’m here from your quilt post. It was such a heartwarming story, and I wanted to thank you for sharing it.
I’m looking to get into hand sewing, and I wanted to dip my toe in by learning embroidery. When I was a kid, I embroidered a handkerchief for my dad, but I don’t really know anything about techniques or specific stitches or anything. I’ve looked online and there’s a lot out there, and I find it to be overwhelming.
How did you get into your craft, and could you perhaps share some resources you’d recommend?
I realize this is a strange ask; if it’s too weird, feel free to ignore it and thank you for your time.
That’s not a strange ask at all that’s a delightful one!
I’m actually pretty much entirely self taught. I had a special interest in the Oregon Trail growing up (I lived in Oregon so maybe a little less weird than it could have been) which meant I did a lot of pioneer things. My mom and gramma on that side also did a lot of sewing so if I didn’t get something I could ask them which was lucky for me because I was learning before the internet was an ‘at home’ thing for most people.
The fastest way to just dive into embroidery and play around a bit while learning stitches is to make a sampler. If you just google “embroidery sampler” you’ll find a lot of different options! There are some that have video tutorials included, there are kits you can buy that include everything you need, there are examples so you can just make your own that interests you! It’s a nice way to learn a lot of the basic stitches and have an item to reference when you’re planning other projects in the future. Me, being the big ol’ nerd I am found a vintage one that was similar to what Laura Ingles Wilder would have done in a very old library book that I no longer remember the name of. I think I ended up giving that to someone after I finished it 🤔 but you can really make a sampler into anything you want! Only want to embroider bees or flowers or strawberries? There will be options out there!
I’m currently doing an embroidery project where I make a lot of different Pokémon and I’m mainly using satin stitch for that, which is one of my favorites. Some basic stitches I’d point out as The Important Ones in no particular order: satin, running stitch, backstitch, split backstitch, chain stitch, cross stitch, French knot, and long and short stitch.
Here’s a website with a bunch of different pictures of stitches and how to make them. It also links to a pdf book you can buy, which I haven’t, but the site has plenty of options for playing around with. Just in case you wanted to see what you liked and just dive in! You could pick ten you think are neat and just try them out on some scrap fabric!
And here’s a link to an Instagram account I like and has posted examples of stitches before as well as selling embroidery kits, just in case you needed things narrowed down more :)

Hey I’ve seen cross stitch in other ways before but seeing it in regards to deltarune and undertale got me interested in maybe trying it myself. Do you have any suggestions for someone who knows nothing about it?
This is so exciting! I am glad this got you interested in cross stitch!
Cross stitching can, honestly, be a little intimidating. But, once you understand the basics, its pretty straight-forward! My personal experience is as someone who started with embroidery and then hyper-focused on cross stitch, so I came into it with a little bit of relevant experience.
Either way, there are a lot of great resources online that can help you get started. This video is a great starting point! In it, she breaks down supplies, set-up, and how to cross stitch. This article also gives a pretty good explanation of how to cross stitch. Another super helpful read is this article that teaches you how to read a cross stitch pattern (essentially your cross stitch blue print).
In terms of materials, this video does a good job breaking down starter materials! I get all my materials from Joann's or Micheal's, but pretty much any craft store will have an embroidery section where you can get supplies. Even most Walmarts have a small embroidery section. I don't recommend buying a starter kit online, usually because they can be over-priced or they don't use DMC floss, which can become a hindrance when colors don't match up with patterns. Maybe later in a reblog of this or in a separate post I'll show my embroidery set-up.
There are tons of small and cheap cross stitches to start with (many that you can buy in craft stores in the embroidery section). However, if you are primarily or only interested in cross stitching Undertale and Deltarune, there are a few places that you can find patterns. Undertale has a HUGE cross stitch fanbase online, so you can find patterns on Etsy or Redbubble for cheap. If you want to spend a little extra, but really invest, there is the Undertale Cross Stitch book.
When it comes to Deltarune, ehhhh, well, that is one of the main reasons I started this blog lol. There really aren't many Deltarune online cross stitch resources at all. But, If you want to get started with something small and Deltarune based, feel free to DM me and I can give you a small pattern for Dark World Kris!
So that's a longer response than I planned, but if you have any questions, feel free to reach out again! :)

Does anyone have any advice/resources about selling your handmade products online? I used Etsy for my last TAD embroidery sale and I feel like there was just so much I didn't know and I'd like to do better this time. Any kind of help would be very much appreciated 💖

This project is a collection of images, drawing, print, and fabric work including weaving and embroidery, documenting the "Story of You."
The overarching theme of my blog is an Exploration of Pleasure in Womanhood. Pleasure is an often demonised term, put in juxtaposition of terms like discipline,self-restraint, and modest behaviour. As we read in the Bible "chastity is a virtue" and "bridle your passions." The underlying messages that pleasure and self exploration stand at the opposite end of this spectrum.
In the process of this project, I would like to prove that Pleasure is an essential part of our day to day life; when taken without judgement it can open broader and deeper pathways of self-inquiry and creativity.
Pleasure is the essence of my personal creativity, it is the day to day magic, it is the wildness within, the untamed woman, the love and hunger for life. It is a breaking free from the "expected." Resources: Women who Run with the Wolves, Clarissa Pinkola Estes, 1992 The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle, 1997 Vogue and Vogue Runway, online Sex Roles, scientific journal, 1975 The Bible, King James Version

I’m sending this anonymously because this is about my job and since I will be referencing some of my own prices I don’t want to risk someone finding my tumblr blog, I am however on your taglist and a huge fan of your work.
I’m also a professional fibre artist and amongst other things I make and sell handwoven bracelets so when I read in supersede that Charles gave away a bespoke handwoven bracelet I wanted to offer my knowledge as to what a single handwoven bracelet would be worth if the artist were fairly compensated for their work. For the sake of simplicity let’s say y/n is doing something simple that’s also popular in my shop like tablet weaving and using amateur tools and I’m going of prices in my own country the Netherlands since prices can vary greatly depending on natural resources in your country.
If you don’t want to read the whole thing I concluded that it would’ve cost y/n €197,57 or $217,47 or £170,10 to make one tablet woven bracelet.
There’s more than just materials that go into making a piece, there’s also time and skill. Since she’s an amateur with probably low skill let’s give her minimum wage which is €12,79 per hour in my country. Depending on how intricate the pattern is and her work speed it might take her anywhere from 1 hour to 8 hours to create a single piece, this is really different for anyone because everyone works at a different speed. But since she’s an amateur and still learning and probably makes a lot of mistakes in the beginning that she needs to correct let’s say 3 hours =€38,37
Since she’s an amateur she probably wouldn’t own any of the materials so she needs to buy everything:
Wooden tablets are €3,70 a piece
A cheap inkle loom is about €70,-
Shuttle is €9,05
Pick up stick is €6,05
Embroidery floss is €1,99 per bundle
Warping threat is €4,95
We could add the cost of buying a pattern here as well but for the sake of making Charles seem less heartless let’s say she found a free pattern online using only a 16 tablets=€59,20 and 5 colors=€9,95
Since she’s an amateur she would have to purchase all these materials totalling at €159,20 for materials
That brings us to a total of €197,57 that it would’ve cost y/n to create that bracelet
If she somehow already owned tools the bracelet would only be worth hourly at her skill level €38,37 and the priceless emotional cost of it being a gift from a close friend
For comparison here’s if it were made by a professional artist made (me) it would be a bit more expensive
I’m a highly skilled professional so my rate is €27,43 per hour. I work at a different speed than an amateur but for the sake of comparison let’s say that my pattern also took 3 hours=€82,29
My professional and significantly less splintering materials cost:
Bone tablets are €5,15 a piece
My loom was about €500,-
Shuttle was €17,30
Pick up stick was €16,-
Embroidery floss is still €1,99 per bundle
I warping thread is also still €4,95
I draft my own patterns which takes me about an hour for which I would charge €35,- for both my time and the pattern. If I was making a bracelet for a dear friend I would probably use a pattern that uses 40 tablets=€206,- and 7 colors=€13,93
The total cost of all those materials is €793,18
If we add my hourly rate to that it is €875,47
Of course as a professional I already own materials and don’t have to buy new tools for every order so let’s remove all the tools I can reuse and also the warping thread €131,22
And what if we assume that I’m reusing a pattern I already made so we remove 1 hour wages from the total but keep the cost of the pattern €103,79
And I’m feeling nice so let’s say that I miraculously already own enough of every color I need. My usual price for colors is €0,70 extra per color after the fourth color. We said the pattern I used was 7 colors so that handmade artisanal bespoke bracelet would be sold for €91,96
If you made it this for just know that Charles giving away that bracelet made me so hurt that I can’t even bring myself to read part 2
You gave me goosebumps because for a second I thought you said you were a professional writer and you wanted to give me your critics. 😭
Charles you hear that?! The bracelet costed €91,96 dumbass give it back to reader if you don’t want to wear it
Oh, and y/n doesn’t have a driving license so she act spent hours and days walking store to store, some even required her to take a bus. 😩 oh and if you haven’t read the second part, I’m gonna spoil it for you. Charles is still clueless about it so, yeah. Makes me want to make her has her own full hands make out show in front of him just to teach him the lesson

Public Knowledge (Available online, easily accessible):
Lorelei Kaimana Snow is the founder, owner, and lead designer at the Summer Snow boutique, located on Mele Mele island in Alola. She has been working since she was 19, and founded the boutique at age 25. She is currently 28 years old.
Lorelei’s network includes Felicia Blanche, a famous Kalosian designer of women’s fashion who apprenticed Lorelei and who happens to be her stepmother. Despite murmurs of nepotism, Lorelei has described Felicia as “one of the toughest customers I’ve ever had - I wasn’t allowed to finish my apprenticeship until I created a garment she would put on a runway. Anyone who’s worked for her knows how exacting that standard is, but I’m a better designer because of it.”
Lorelei is currently single. There are rumors of a former fiance, but no conclusive evidence of this exists.
Lorelei has a quadrupedal goodra named Benji. He’s a good boy.
Luminous is a masked vigilante with powers of unknown origin, who is dedicated to preventing structural damage in extreme natural and Pokemon-induced events. She also wrangles Ultra Beasts and sends them back to their dimension.
Luminous’s powers include flight, super strength, crystal generation and manipulation, energy manipulation, matter manipulation (but she can only make purple, black and white),  and accelerated healing. The source and extent of these powers is unknown.
Luminous can be reached... generally by yelling, honestly? She often leaves communication devices in Areas of Interest that can just be poked and spoken into, and she’ll be there. They look like sparkly purple-pink rocks.
Semi-public Knowledge (Available if you dig for it):
Lorelei’s timeline is... spotty? She seems to move from place to place far faster than somebody with her resources should be able to, and there’s an entire section on her frequent days-to-weeks-long “disappearances” where she’ll just seem to vanish off the map and can’t be reached. This timeline isn’t on Wikipedia, btw, it’s on a fashion designer’s wiki.
Lorelei is capable of doing extremely detailed work in short periods, which would suggest she’s using mass manufacturing or some sort of external labor, but there is no proof or even a hint as to where or how she can be doing it, especially when she’s always seen working on these projects herself. People who have seen her work can confirm she is capable of doing hand embroidery, jeweling, and beading, so she might actually be that fast.
Lorelei is a great cook, and originally intended to succeed her father as head chef of his eventual restaurant. She was drawn to fashion as a career early on in the process of funding the restaurant, but still comes in to help her dad when she can.
Lorelei has four parents - her bio-dad Kei and bio-mom Lea are both divorced, and remarried to Andrea and Felicia respectively.
Lorelei has a... cousin? Named Lore. She’s 19, a lesbian, and interested in becoming a proper tainer.
Luminous has died at least once to public knowledge, or at least appeared dead, before disappearing from public view. She re-appeared a week later, claiming an “emergency status” and subsequent recovery.
There’s... a castle? Made of crystal? Off the coast of Mele Mele. But it only exists some of the time when Luminous approaches it. What is within this castle is unknown, but she retreats to it when severely injured.
Luminous is a confirmed dimension-hopper, and can cross between worlds without issue. She does this often to provide aid to other timelines.
Private Knowledge (no online record of this information exists, and is only accessible by talking to the correct people):
Lorelei can only retain memories of other timelines that disappear or taper off by taking something tangible from them. She does this by way of taking Polaroid photos and writing as many details as she can on the back.
Lorelei’s fiance, Rhys, was from another timeline which tapered off. She retained the fading memory of him for a long time, but Lore eventually destroyed his polaroid in order to free Lorelei from the cycle of grief she was trapped in from it. She remembers not being single at some point, but all other details are lost, and no conclusive evidence of his existence remains.
Lore is the only known alternate of Lorelei, and came from the “original” timeline that eventually broke off into our current one. Her timeline is now gone, and an empty pocket dimension is all that remains.
Benji is afflicted with the same magic as Luminous, and (unknown to Lorelei) is actually typed dragon/fairy.
Luminous has died conclusively three times - once by falling from a great height shortly after gaining her powers, once by way of a rampaging Kyogre, once by absorbing the power of an Ultimate Weapon and overloading herself. She has nearly died several more times.
The Ultimate Weapon she disarmed is stored in the underbelly of the castle, at the heart of a garden which somehow exists in a state of being upside down.
And, of course:
Lorelei Kaimana Snow and Luminous are the same person.

The story of me embraces my daily lifestyle, elaborating on the realism of society. I'm going to begin by mind mapping ideas of emotions, hobbies, environment, identity and anything that is related to my daily lifestyle. I'm going to explore how images that I have sourced personally of my daily life or from a secondary resource, like artists, connects with my story through visual communication. All of my research that I will gather within the coming weeks from artists, books and brands, will help me visually communicate my final outcome. There's 3 techniques I will be exploring throughout of the coming weeks, weaving, embroidery, and print, creating a sketchbook with all my samples.   Visual communication is the definition of representing a visual image effectively to create meaning. Communication has been the very first and oldest characteristic of human life. Before verbal communication humans would use formal languages in the form of symbols gestures and body expressions. It can express the feeling or emotion or express a point, it can change a mood or body language of a human.
Munch based this painting on how he personally portraits how he dealt and saw his mental health illness. By painting this piece it helped Edvard Munch to explain his experience from childhood. His mental health issues stemmed from verbal childhood abuse, over time this had a massive effect throughout adulthood resulting in munch sending himself to a mental health hospital. In the painting the bright red and orange sky is the first thing that draws myself to the painting, the psychological definition of red and orange implies danger capture in his initial thought at the time suggesting that he was in some kind of problem. At the time of the era the art style was to realistically represent the subjects. Instead munch chose the opposite using an unrealistic style of painting to represent his emotions. The ghostly figure that stands alone creates the feeling of disconnection from everyone and everything, as seen by the figure in the painting holding his ears and placing in his hands up to his head suggesting he was having a panic attack and full of anxiety. Myself and Edvard Munch have similar effects of trauma linking to up back to mental health, even though we have different trauma experiences it is apparent that we both have the same after effects of the motion. This has also been proven throughout are in fashion with similar techniques and visual styles. I’m going to consider using Munch’s style of painting and colours as I think it would connect my final chosen theme throughout my project.
