POST YOUR ONE SHOTS SEPARATELY! ESPECIALLY IF THEYRE FOR DIFFERENT FANDOMS/SHIPS!

***Tags selected randomly for making a quick example***

Stop posting random one-shots into one work. Stop making Chapter 1 a Table of Contents. Stop tagging multiple pairings/fandoms/additional tags etc when you haven’t even POSTED the chapters they would apply to!

This spams tags and 9 times out of 10 I avoid these fics on sight and don’t even bother digging through the fic to see if the oneshot is something I won’t even want to read.

These fics should be reportable for spam if they aren’t already.

I’ve started completely muting authors on sight for this now because I’ve personally had enough.

When he returned, he made a beeline for his brother and pushed him back into his lonesome stool. The slightly golden brown and crisp turtle let out a small oof as he was forced back onto the seat, chair scraping against the floor with the force. Raphael set himself down next to his brother again, scooting his chair closer so their knees were touching, then got to work. He'd probably have to change out the bandages over the next few days, and he really hoped he would not have to wrestle a stubborn Donatello out of his lab. For now, though, Donatello was nothing short of a good patient as he tended to his wounds, and as he dabbed antiseptic gel onto the burns he's once again kind of grateful for his brother's whacked out state. Raphael took special care to be as gentle as he could as he disinfected the various burns, and aside from the occasional hiss of discomfort, Donatello was still and silent.

Yeah, he should have realized he was a bit too well-behaved a lot sooner, because by the time he finished mummy-wrapping his brother's fingers in bandages he felt a weight collapse heavily against his shoulder.

As a way of saying thank you to all my lovely, dedicated readers, I give you Of Fireworks and Flame, a collection of romantic and/or smutty Akaren/Renkaza oneshots that I’ll be updating periodically with random ideas. Since this is for you guys, I do take a lot of guidance on what sorts of topics and scenes I write about. You can follow me here or on Twitter (both @undeniablyares) to see my polls and questions so that you can voice your ideas that you really want to see me write.

Chapter 1 is a Table of Contents, because I wanted a way to showcase what you’re clicking on and going into before you get there, as most of these fics are for mature audiences only and some of them come with trigger warnings for potentially sensitive content. I’d hate to accidentally upset someone like that because I’m dumb and didn’t tag this appropriately. Here you’ll find chapter titles for each oneshot, brief descriptions, and the relevant tags and trigger warnings for the chapter.

Chapter 2 is the first of this collection’s oneshots that was dedicated to all of you who were so invested in Accidentally an Oiran with me. That’s my baby, my big project that really helped me develop my voice within this fandom, and to see it reach 10k hits (along with all the other incredible comments and kudos you all left for me) brings me so much pride and joy. Posted the poll for this on Twitter and the most-wanted smut scene was switch AkaRenkaza with ABO dynamics. Both were portrayed as alphas, per the most desired request.

With your jacket over your head, you keep running and running as the rain pours around you. One of your boots sinks into a deep puddle, but you don’t stop. Thunder sounds, and you close your eyes as the rain blurs your vision. When you open them again, you see an outline of a building in the distance. You stop, but only for a moment to catch your breath. As soon as you hear twigs snap behind you, you start running again.

“Where oh where are you, my sweet thing….”

The disembodied female voice sends a chill down your spine. You refuse to look behind you as you feel her presence getting closer and closer. You increase your pace and see that the building you saw earlier is a large, old mansion. As you get closer, the smell of musk gets stronger, and your hairs stand on end. You want to stop but can’t. You want to turn around but can’t. Something or someone is forcing you to this house. Before you know it, you’re standing at the gates without any control over your body.

“...Welcome home.”

A gust of wind pushes you forward from behind. You know there’s no turning back. Yet, once you reluctantly push open the large, arched door, a sudden warmth hugs your body, and you step in without hesitation. Unlike the worn and dingy exterior, the interior is dimly lit with candles and a grand staircase that parts into two hallways on the second floor. The contrast baffles you... as if you’d step into a different universe.

Suddenly, you feel a cold presence behind you. And, before you know it, you’re facing a man with his hand around your neck. He lifts you off the floor, and you claw at his hand that has no intention of letting go.

“Well, well, who do we have here?”

Running through the city on patrol was one of his favorite parts of it. Running across rooftops with reckless abandon, flipping through the air only to land on his feet…

It brought back some pleasant memories of watching videos on parkour late at night, texting his friend and planning to meet up somewhere to try out what they had seen.

With various degrees of success.

In reality, Chiro hadn't been that good at it. He fell a lot, even wound up injured a few times bad enough to require a hospital visit…

Or three. He honestly lost count. Between him and his friend, they had about six hospital visits for these antics under their belts.

Now, he was actually learning how to do such feats safely, mostly using the training room's simulator programs and then applying it to patrol like he was now.

His stomach did somersaults while he flung himself across a gap between two buildings.

The monkeys were nearby, always ever watchful of their young leader - just in case.

Today in particular though, they noticed… something was off.

Chiro was keeping up like usual… but they caught a glimpse of another boy his age trying to catch up to him… and when Chiro noticed him, he only smirked and started doing more complex tricks, prompting the other young man to do the same.

"Who is that?" Otto asked.

"I don't know but he's picking up the pace." Sparx answered.

The boy was an inch or two taller than Chiro with dark skin and wild deep blue hair. His eyes, an unnatural shade of violet that gleamed with mischief.

"Hey, Ichi!" The boy called, with a laugh. "You know, you can't outrun me forever!"

Chiro growled.

"I told you once, I told you a thousand times, stop calling me that! Only Mila's allowed to!"

"Kid, you know that guy?" Sparx remarked, looking back at him.

"Unfortunately." Chiro deadpanned before he laughed. "It's a story I'll tell… if he can catch up!"

Antauri stopped short, signaling the others to do the same.

"Pardon?" He raised an eyebrow.

Chiro stopped short before he noticed the boy catching up and made a break for it, shimmying up onto an air conditioning unit.

"Come on! You don't see me for awhile and NOW you can't catch up? For shame, Pizza Boy!"
