So like...Sam's Liminal. Definitely Liminal. She's also very pretty. Constantine's a little tipsy, but he's very, very sure he just accidentally sat next to a Fae at the bar.

Heavily influenced by certain lines in Inferno, buttttt

Sam's a very pretty young woman. Beautiful smile (with too sharp teeth), lovely eyes (but they're a little too wide, a little too bright), fantastic skin (unnaturally pale, suspiciously cold), and a very pretty face (perfectly symmetrical)-first glance anyone who leans towards women would get instant butterflies in the stomach.

But Constantine's been around danger enough to recognize those aren't butterflies.

That's fear.

There's a deep, instinctual fear that is telling him he has to run.

Just as he's about to leave, though, her hand rests itself on his arm.

"Leaving so soon, Hellblazer? And here I thought you'd want to take a look at this...interesting contract I found."

Ah. Shit.

He sits back down, next to the Unseelie Fae who, apparently, owns part of his soul.

Sam, for her part, just wants to scare the idiot straight so he'll stop making work for Danny. (Danny's days are almost nothing but fielding complaints about Constantine and he's so fucking close to hunting the man down himself).

calling it right now that season 3 starts like this

#so confused about people saying the season finale feels like the end because to me it didn't at all #there's like 5-10 issues immediately set up for another season #they're in a happy place at this point because they've both realized their love is bigger than anything else #and makes it worth working on their problems together #the problems are still very much there #both of them have deep self esteem/self loathing issues that haven't been resolved in the week since ed woke up #ed doesn't know about stede's trauma #they haven't talked through anything #and they'll be shit at starting/running an inn lmao it's not gonna go well #and those are just some of the internal issues #then there's prince ricky and all the authorities that would very much like to get their hands on both blackbeard and stede bonnet #because stede just full-on kept using his government name after faking his death. nice one #the crew are not “gone” they're more like off to college for a bit but will probably run into trouble immediately #again because while they escaped to the ship they didn't eliminate the threat (the british empire)#it's not a forever goodbye #ok this got super long already anyway i have a whole fic marinading in my brain until i've finished these 4 wips i'm in the middle of ✌️#hope we get a renewal soon because i want to see the rest of their story!!#ofmd s2 spoilers #ofmd s2 #ofmd #our flag means death

I think a lot about Leo’s tendency to push his way into the spotlight despite clearly being a natural in the shadows. Hell, you could argue that his worst moments are when he’s forcing himself onstage, and his best are when he does things no one notices until it’s already been done.

At the start of this project all I wanted was to 'learn how to draw' using comics as a medium and the MDZS audio drama as inspiration.

I've come *very* far from making simple, 3 panel black and white comics, and I truly do intend to go even further. Thank you to everyone who cheered me on throughout 2023, it has been an incredible year in so many ways I never could have imagined. I look forwards to drawing throughout 2024 B*)

Something I love about Leo is that, canonically, he IS capable of cooking, he’s just completely incapable of using a toaster. He’s banned from the kitchen not out of an inability to make edible food, but because being within six feet of a toaster causes the poor appliance to spontaneously combust.

#rottmnt #rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles #rottmnt leo #rottmnt headcanons #rise leo #all Leos mortal enemy: toasters #side note but thinking about this aspect of Leo’s character really has me wanting to make a deeper dive into Leo as a Jack of All Trades #because he has aspects of this all throughout the series #where he can do many things he’s just not the best at it #like he can cook but he’s no Mikey #he can - canonically - rewire an *AI PROGRAM* but it goes very wrong #he can lift both Mikey and Raph simultaneously but he struggles to do so where his other brothers don’t even break a sweat #bro is a Jack of All Trades Master of None frfr #and Leo is even more interesting with this in mind because he uses what he CAN do so well #it’s like how he can see his family’s strengths and weaknesses and knows exactly how they work #his skill set is made way better simply by his personal USE of those skills not by the skills themselves #portals and teleportation are only op if you know how to weaponize them #given time he ABSOLUTELY could #okay I shut up now this was supposed to be about toasters #but yeah all the boys have a bunch of skills under their belts outside the typical ones #but Leo stands out to me for having skills his other brothers have but to a much lesser degree in a lot of cases #and he works with what he has so well that that is a skill in itself
