hey! i saw the request open and i was wondering if u could do an ollie bearman x reader who is younger than him, maybe 2/3 years (1 is ok too if you’re not comfortable with 2/3) and she’s like the youngest leclerc (if it’s possible) their relationship is private.

they decide to go public to stop the random shipping with other girls that some fan do (maybe the reader/ollie are annoyed or think it’s disrespectful) but she’s also scared/insicure that the fans would hate/judge her for being younger that ollie or something like that

Summary- a beach vacation with you and Ollie and the leclerc fam and the Insta post from hell

Warnings- reader is 16 Ollie is 17, fluff and poorly edited that’s about it.

Authors note- I don’t know seeing the leclerc family and girlfriends out on holiday might of added to my inspo for this hopefully it’s what you wanted tho. Ps this is only part 1 of your request 😉

It was currently summer break the best time of the year in your opinion. You got to spend time with your family and of course your boyfriend Ollie. As you were keeping your relationship out of the public it was very hard for the two of you to find time outside of the track together just the two of you in love. It was a troubling topic, the topic of announcing your relationship as you were already in the public eye because of your brothers you knew the hate their girlfriends received just for being their girl friends. Ollie was so well known in the racing world he was so talented so you knew that there would be a commotion if you and he announced you were dating and that did scare you a little. You weren’t going to lie you were hesitant to even date ollie at first you thought he was so handsome and kind but he was 17 almost turning 18 and you had just turned 16 it’s not that big of a gap but with him turning 18 soon you knew you would get hated on for dating a guy older then you and being labeled to young. Surprisingly the leclerc brothers Arthur Lorenzo and Charles all got used to it pretty quickly and have become supportive of your relationship, at first of course they were hesitant being your brothers and all they didn’t think anyone was good for their little sister especially another driver who could crash at any minute and leave their sister alone in tears. But they liked Ollie, especially Arthur who was very close with him from prema so naturally everyone got along well. You and Ollie had been dating for about 7months now, it may be to early to say but you were definitely in love with the boy. Your family had been kind enough to offer you to bring Ollie along on the family vacation considering that their girlfriends were also going to be their, so you both happily accepted a week in the sun, with your family what could go wrong.

Well……

It was a warm day on the beach, everyone was relaxed and tanned that’s for sure. You were in your floral bikini lying down on a beach towel scrolling through your phone. Ollie was having a dip in the ocean along with your other brothers and a few of the girlfriends but some opted to stay on the sand. As you scrolled through Insta you stopped when you saw the page of a F1gossip sight you normally wouldn’t click on them because you already were involved in the world so you knew the truth and didn’t need to read a page of mostly lies. When you clicked on the page a post captured your eye it was of Ollie so naturally intrigued you took a closer look only to see it was a post about dating rumours with another girl something about her being seen out and about in the Ollie bearmans jumper so they had to be together, she was pretty, really pretty and that did look like his jumper, of course this couldn’t be true he’s with you and all this information is coming from the people who though Fernando and Taylor swift were a thing so it can’t be right, right.

You were to engrossed in the picture that you hadn’t noticed Ollie come out of the water to sit on the towel next to you.

“ the waters amazing, you should come in with me babe” he kissed your cheek

“ hmm” you questioned look up at him

“ I said the waters amazing “

“ that’s nice” you nodded focusing back on your phone

“ ok, hey what’s wrong, you know you can tell me anything” he stroked a piece of your hair back behind your ear.

“ it’s nothing, it’s silly”

“ nothings silly if it’s making you upset, look where we are I can’t have you upset on this beautiful holiday, so tell me”

You couldn’t find the right words to tell him without being upset or offending him so instead you handed him your phone with the post up for him to see.

He took the phone from you a scrolled through the photos and then turned to look at you.

“ babe.. I promise you Im not with that girl , that’s not even my jumper because mine is sitting happily in my wardrobe at home, I promise the only girl I spend my time with is you”

“ I know it just makes me…. I don’t know I just want to be the only girl they ship you with, I know that sounds bad”

“ it doesn’t sound bad I want that too because you are the only girl I love , but we can’t control what they post or what they say we just have to trust each other that those posts are fake I could never love anyone as much as I love you” he rubbed your cheek

“ I trust you O i do but it’s hard hiding all the time I don’t want to hide” I sadly laughed

“ me either lest reveal our relationship to the world” he scooted closer towards you

“ but I don’t want that either I don’t want all the hate comments and everything that comes with having a public relationship I just want you”

“ well this is a bit of a dilemma I don’t think we can have both as much as I would like love” he laughed

“ I know we… we’ll just wait a little longer to reveal it and for now I’ll deal with seeing those posts”

“ I’m sorry”

“ Ollie you have nothing to apologise for” I curled into him

“ I know but if I wasn’t in the public we could have a normal relationship”

“ hey my brothers are in the public to nothing about my life is normal I promise this isn’t all you”

We both sat in silence wrapped up in each other for a moment

“ now did you say something about the water being nice” I giggled

“ yes it’s amazing let’s go”

He grabbed you by your legs flinging you over his shoulder running towards the Crystal blue water before dunking you in.

“ oh your gonna pay for that Ollie!” You screeched.

Happy in your little vacation bubble just you and your family no one else no cameras no press. But that wouldn’t last long.

Alright. Imma just say it. Something is wrong with the theme park and Ollie. Because at first, it just seems really sweet right? Ollie seems charming and super nice to Bad- a true friend, if you will. But what initially started out as "getting help" for a "surprise for cucurucho" in the form of a ferris wheel turned into Bad being responsible for an entire theme park. Ok. But like. Why tho.

Also what is up with the snakes and raccoons that just randomly appear every time Bad tries to show the bunny workers his work- therefore inadvertently causing him problems that lead to bad reviews by the bunnies. And more importantly: Bad owing Cucurucho more debt each time.

There's something interesting about that last part and this whole situation intrigues me so much if Cucurucho really is manipulating Bad into becoming closer, and ultimately, slowly integrate him into the Federation.

see the thing is i have to agree with bad that i think cucuruchos setting bad up for a debt payment so theyre forced to interact daily! Like a baby trap but with financials kjkhjgvhjbnjk

i wrote this in a post like i think two ish days ago that cucurucho seems to be testing bads boundaries, which includes forcing bad to somehow pay cucurucho or be in debt to cucurucho, both things which bad hates because he really likes being at the top of the ladder on the richness scale!! Like he checks that stupid thing so often just to make sure hes still at the top when in reality theres like a 10K GAP between him and the second richest person on the server

Like its so sus how this is the second time cucuruchos made bad indebted to him within the past couple days. And bad really couldve just refused to pay cucurucho back (it was just a netherite block that bad didnt even have that we WATCHED cucurucho destroy) but instead bad bended and said that he'd find a way to pay cucurucho back even if getting a fucking BLOCK OF NETHERITE would take FOREVER

AND THE THING IS!!!! THE THING IS!!!! I am 90% confident cucurucho didnt expect bad to be honest and give him back that whole stack of netherite blocks, it was a VERY OBVIOUS TEMPTATION to try and get bad to refuse to give them back but instead he did so and cucurucho panicked and decided to fabricate a false debt on his own

But the thing is, a block of netherite is something one can forget about especially when bad doesnt actually have it, so instead he made bad in debt with something a little more tangible, something bad cant just give back to him all at once (or that he didnt want to - of course bad could do it he has WELL over 12k but bad hoards his money like a dragon). So instead cucurucho charged bad an exuberant price for something he shouldnt have even known existed just so bad would be forced to interact with him and go out of his way to give him exactly 12 coins a day!! Cucurucho was even nice enough to take 3k off just because he likes bad (thats a quote, that was crazy)!!!

AND cucurucho did the math in his head, if bad were to stick to their debt agreement bad would be paying him back for a little under 3 years !!! Bro had a fucking calculator on hand!!! 2.74 years i believe were his calculations, a thousand days!! Bro is counting!!!

like im just saying its so sus,, its so sus i UNDERSTAND and i hope its on purpose and that they DO SOMETHING WITH IT!!!

AND SIDE NOTE!!!! THESE BUNNIES ARE SO CRINGEFAIL!!!! WHY ARE ALL OF THEM ALWAYS ON HALF A HEART???? The bear fed workers werent doing allat!!!!! It seems like every time a rabbit is around bad theyre always on 2 hearts constantly getting downed, every other time bad sees ollie hes picking her up from getting downed, he had to save the two tie rabbits several times today, sipi kept getting downed, etc. etc. that cant not be planned, its like they go out of their way to be weak to be able to make these accusations that cause bad to get fined that cause him to be in debt like THATS CRAZY RIGHT???

I dont think i saw any bear fed workers get downed until fucking CELLBIT started killing them, and pre-theme park weve rarely/never seen a bunny properly get downed, even when they were around bad, Ronnie was mostly stalking and hiding and jumping around and excited, they didnt get downed nearly as much!!! Its crazy!!!

EDIT: EDITING THIS TO SAY. LOWEST OF KEYS. REALLY SUS THAT OLLIE CLAIMED IT WAS FOR A CELEBRATION FOR CUCURUCHO, BUT REFUSED TO ELABORATE ON WHICH CELEBRATION... junior drivers to watch in 2023

a comprehensive, incomplete and biased list by yours truly, based on what ive watched/read in 2022

Andrea Kimi Antonelli (age 16, Mercedes junior | 2022: Italian & German F4) only the second driver to win both italian and german f4 in the same season. seems like someone to watch and someone who might progress to f3 next season. i haven’t personally seen him race yet but the double title is quite telling

Ollie Bearman (age 17, Ferrari junior | 2022: F3) the first driver to win both italian and german f4 in one season. had a superb rookie season in f3 in which he nearly took the title home. still a lot to learn as he was prone to some rookie errors but nothing he can’t sort out with some more experience. will probably progress to f2 in 2023 and, depending on the team, might very well be a solid candidate for the title

Franco Colapinto (age 19 | 2022: F3) joined f3 as a rookie with a brand new team (VAR) which took over the HWA entry. both franco and the team absolutely smashed it out of the park and got really good results. very impressive driver who i’m excited about to see what else he can do. better car probably required tho

Enzo Fittipaldi (age 21, Red Bull junior | 2022: F2) after recovering from a horrific accident in 2021 to race in f2 again in 2022, enzo has been absolutely impressive. he drives a charouz for crying out loud. got a several podiums and is in a fight with several others for a top 4 (or potentially top 3) finish in the f2 standings. i hope he can continue this in a next season. who knows what he can do with a better car

Ollie Goethe (age 18 | 2022: Euroformula Open & F3 temp) this kid positively blew me away tbh. he joined campos in f3 as a sub in hungary where it rained all weekend. he qualified in reverse grid pole (p10) in only his second ever session in an f3 car, took points in the sprint and barely missed out on a podium in spa. hope he gets promoted to f3 in a good team and he can show what he can really do with a full time drive

Isack Hadjar (age 18, Red Bull junior | 2022: F3) so he was on to win f3 for a while but in the end lost out to the 3 others also on this list. he’s still stellar, don’t let that p4 fool you, and i think we’ll see more great things from him in the future. i definitely hope so at least. promoting him to f2 might be too soon but who knows what they’re smoking at the RB junior program. very impressive and quite consistent, which is always impressive for a junior.

Zane Maloney (age 19 | 2022: F3) quite impressive in f3, almost took the title home as well. prone to some rookie errors but overall a solid driver who really found his groove throughout the season. curious to see what he can do next year! no idea if he’s gonna get promoted or not but either way, i’m sure he’ll do well

Victor Martins (age 21, Alpine junior (god help him) | 2022: F3 champion) won, of course, the f3 title this year. he has his off days sometimes but is overall very very solid. i just think he’s neat and he’s also very good. most likely will be promoted to f2 next year, potentially with ART. his rookie season might not be as mind-blowing as some people expect, but he’s a driver who needs a bit of time to get used to a series and find his groove so he’ll be fine!

Sebastian Montoya (age 17 | 2022: Formula Regional & F3 temp) i’ve only seen him race as a sub in f3 this year but with minimal experience in an f3 car he scored points in both races he did! in a campos! if he gets promoted, i think he’ll be one to watch as a front runner. potentially?

Zak O’Sullivan (age 17, Williams junior | 2022: F3) listen i know ur wondering why p11 in the championship is on this list but LISTEN. he’s good. he had one hell of a learning curve this year with straight up silly errors at the start but he��s learning! he had some superb results as well and rumour has it he’s going to prema next year which means he will be a solid front runner. also, that wet-to-dry race in hungary where he went from 28th to 4th? yeah :) i think hes neat. hes like callum but in italics u know

Gregoire Saucy (age 22 | 2022: F3) again, why is p15 of the standings here, u ask? because he has potential that really didn’t show too well this year. i’m not sure what his achilles heel is but he’s also a driver who does better with more experience so i hope he’ll get another shot next year. not someone i’d write off based on one bad season is all i’ll say

ranking the artist battle songs from my fav to least fav

disclaimer: i like all of the own songs in their own right and don’t think any of them were super bad. they were all underwhelming in terms of uniqueness imo and im sad we only had one cute concept, but i still enjoy listening to them, so :)

Supercharger yeah believe it or not i actually like this song i like the hard-hitting beats and i think everyone did a really good job on the song. only gripe is that ollie's rap sounds better live than in the recording which sucks

Say My Name its a little basic but it just makes me happy. also thank fuck they finally put yujin in something cute. i think he suits it better imo. here's to hoping seungeon makes it thru bc he's in my top 9. team was super strong overall

Switch i ended up really liking it after two listens, still think the beat change was hella weird tho. the styling, although garish, suited the concept and i would actually like to wear their fits (toned down, obviously). very cohesive and the choreo looks the most fun

En Garde i like the "en garde and pret" part but the rest of the song is forgettable to me LOL. also can someone get gyuvin out of dark concepts i need to see him in something cute for once i think he'd nail it. get hiroto out of there too poor guy was invisible

Over Me this is definitely just the sex-repulsed asexual in me talking but i do not like sexy songs, that's it lol. its a well-put song but just not my taste. i think the performance went well tho, jeonghyeon king of flying under the radar /pos

conclusion: songs mostly good, could be better, some people needed to be switched around, i would kill to see the original supercharger lineup pop off tho (we could've had park jihoo absolutely slaying but shame). think the biggest problem is that theres 3 dark concept songs and 1 cute song and then whatever switch was, should've been 2/2/1

vincent: 100% yes. he’s my ideal type the loml. I LOVE HIM! 100000/10

ivan: probably…? we dont know much of him as flyboi so i cant really tell. we are both quite socially challenged though which would either be incredible or horrible. i picture him with a really beefy top half with arms good for hugging though. 8/10

Monaco unserious race overview

A very late race overview that beats the purpose of this being my first impression thoughts after a race. But this was a special one so you'll forgive me if I needed some time to be able to write words about it. So let's get right to it:

1. Ferrari

IT HAPPENED. I know it's been a week since it happened but I just couldn't find the words to do this earlier. I think that everything that needed to be said has been said by people way more articulate than me. All I have to say is I'm so fucking proud of him. We yap and yap and yap on here about him and we waste our words on how good he is and we cry and we scream and we get angry on race days and we cry some more but I just want to say it is all worth it. Last Sunday showed it was all worth it for him!!! I have never felt such joy in my entire life. And I'm proud of him. A CASA TUA CHARLES has been ringing in my head for a week and every time j hear it I Tear up all over again. It's... all just too much.

He was perfect. The weekend was perfect. He was faultless and he made it seem easy. It is not easy. He's just that good!!!! And I'm so proud of him.

Moving on, Carlos actually knows how to act like a teammate. It only took him 3 years but he got there. Good for him but he will not get praised for doing what he was supposed to anyway on this blog. He will however get me rooting for him on one (1) gp of my choice. Maybe his home race. Maybe when Charles is set to get an engine penalty. We'll see. I will choose.

2. McLaren

Oscaaaaaarrrrrrrrraaaaaaa Monaco podium for Oscar in his second race there I am so so so so so proud of him as well. He got better at tyre management, he did an amazing lap, he beat Lando on pure speed and he was so calm and collected through the entire thing. Knew when to push and when to give up. Just a super amazing race from him.

Lando was OK as well. But Oscar bear him fair and square. He was faster all weekend actually. The only time Lando will get praise on this blog is if I can't help it. Otherwise no words will be said. He was OK I guess.

So McLarens updates are strong on 3 circuits now. I'm really curious to see where this goes. Still think Ferrari have a better package overall but at least we can be sure to have some amazing battles up there with Ferrari and McLaren (and Max)

3. Mercedes

Ok so Mercedes were actually not that bad this weekend. I mean they were better than usual. And this is the second race in a row that I've said this. However I think its not gonna last. George did great, Lewis drove the car without complaining (mostly) all is good in the world of Mercedes. Except Toto Wolff, that guy still needs therapy.

5. Red Bull

Oh Maxie. Poor Maxie stuck behind George for 78 laps. And he needed to pee. And he didn't get to grab the chaist on the podium. I can just imagine how annoyed he was at this whole situation. And the car was bad? On top of everything? Poor poor Maxie. He will be back next race tho I'm sure of it. Can't wait to see his pretty eyes and pretty smile on the podium again in Canada.

I'm so happy Checo is OK after that horrible crash I was so scared when I saw the car like that. Thank god for the safety measures. And also thank god the photographers are OK. When I said last time that I had a feeling Checo would be mags next victim I didn't mean like this. This was too much. They deffinitely should have given him a penalty and not only because I want to see Ollie again. Checo also handled the whole situation with a lot of dignity. Good for him.

6. RB

Yuki crushed it once again. The guy is on a roll. I don't want to jinx anyone but WOW. YUKI. This entire weekend was Charles and Yukis on different sides of the field. I wish he had a chance for that red bull seat because he would be amazing in it. I don't want him to go to Aston at this point I'd rather he stay in RB than go to Aston. But for now I'm just enjoying his races and enjoying watching him because he is really amazing.

7. Williams

Oh what an amazing result for Williams. Alex got his first points, Logan had lots of firsts:

1. Outqualified a red bull (🥳🥳🥳)

2. Finished where he started (🥳🥳🥳)

3. Had one of the only 4 overtakes in the entire race (🥳🥳🥳)

4. Did all of it with the 2023 rear wing (🥳🥳🥳)

I mean for him this is equal to a win. Good job. Williams and James can go to hell for not being able to assemble a full car for him half of the races. An embarrassment to the sport. Williams can't afford 2 functioning cars and Andretti are the team that would bring nothing to the sport? Please. I'm ashamed yet alone them.

8. Alpine

PIERRE GASLY HAS A POINT AFTER ALMOST BEING TAKEN OUT IN A CIVIL WAR THIS IS NOT A DRILL 🥳🥳🥳🎊🎊🎊

Idk why but I am so happy when Alpine do anything this season. Maybe it's the underdog thing bc of the start of their season. I just like the drivers so much more now that they've been through it with the car lol. Plus their little French war of the baguettes is extremely entertaining. And the fact that the team has stopped pretending that they get along is even more entertaining. I love them they are comedy gold 😂😂 they were gonna punish Esteban by not letting him race lol. You can't tell me that's not a little funny.

9. Sauber

The only reason they are 9 and not 10 is because they finished the race. But they are sooooo slow. Like how can a team be so slow in a race where driving slow is better and one of your drivers holds the fastest lap for 90% of the race? I don't know. I just know that they managed it somehow. I'm sure Valtteri and Zhou were happy for the red flag tho, any race with no pitstops is a good race in their book. Imagine how dead last they would have been if there were pitstops. I cant it's too funny.

10. Haas

The horrors came and they didn't leave the Haas drivers. Although some of the horrors were their own doing. I knew kmags antics would end up badly one race no matter how much we laughed. The stewards deciding to not punish him goes against the very thing the point system was designed for. For drivers to not decide to randomly take out cars every other race in order to gain positions thus putting everyone around them in danger.

I know I always used to say I loved kmag this year but I was simply too scared when I saw Checos car like that and he was to blame for all of it and I'm still to recover for it. It stops being funny when people start getting hurt. That's that. (I know Checo was fine but a photographer got hurt and that's equally as bad)

I wasn't gonna name names but yeah, Tommy and James vs Freddie and Sam was the most unbalanced in terms of energy. It was partly due to the teams and partly because Tubbo wasn't as good at hosting and giving equal consideration to both. He's definitely come a long way as a host which is cool to see!

I'd still like an element of chat interaction to come back if there's a season 3 but I loved the twists this year, especially the relay! And the silly camera work and transitions really added to the feel of the show. All the Tubbathon productions have been so so impressive this year!!

I was rooting for Krow and Owen but I'm very happy that it was so close and that Michela and Oli at least got to know they made his favorite dish overall :)

Tubbos hosting has come so far since last year, and I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that he isn’t in the vicinity of the kitchen as much and he is less involved in the mechanics of the show. I loved the chat element last season but it was so chaotic and ended up taking too much time to actually use. I would love if they tried it again but streamlined it now that they aren’t in a tent lmao.

Tbh I was rooting for both and they both did so well!! I wild eat the hell out of either of them and it’s crazy how close they were with points. I di think it’s hard to try and make two separate dishes because every doesn’t eat meat and both teams did so well with that. I think that Michela and Ollie should have used fish instead of tofu tho, they could have kept the cooking methods and sauce the same.

e3: -"i am perfect 🥰" fuck u know what sometimes the charles leclerc charm does get to me ngl -"breaking america is very important" OH IS IT. let andretti join then -i'll say it. miami isn't that bad. you can critisize the consumerism of it all without being so anti-america yall -fuck caitlyn jenner but her gushing to christian horner abt how great it is that ferrari is winning is iconic -i did watch this season but i did after the fact /knowing/ max was gonna win in the end. its sorta hitting me how it did really look like, oh my god, charles could really win here. just lookin at his lil face thinking how much did he get his hopes up. how much did i hurt, watching it slip away. how do u even handle that emotionally -i know i've talked abt this before but when i was binging the 2022 season i got super drunk before/while watching miami and when i woke up in the morning i remembered basically nothing other than carlos taking his shirt off (priorities). i watched the race highlights sober and was surprised by the lando crash. lol -if anything this rewatch is putting me back in my max girlie era. chomp chomp chomp. and/or i'm ovulating. combination of both -cannot wait for padel game 2023 edition on dts. it will be superior i know it -i do think its wierd that theyre framing (trying to) prioritize charles as a mean thing to do when its exactly what merc did in 2021 for lewis and it was 100% necessary both times. the guy who said 'ferrari won with the wrong car' wasnt wrong thats just how this shit works!!! -idk why dts couldn't just explain that max has non terminal but non fixable damage and thats why he was so damn slow. i feel like it wouldve been so easy to just mention. give context to why he couldnt get back up there -i dont think having multiple episodes focus on the same race from different perspectives is the worst thing ever, but i do think they fucked it up here by having the silverstone episodes back 2 back 2 back...... at least mix it up a lil. put another episode inbetween so we've forgotten by the time its being rehashed is it rly that hard

MWAH MWAH MWAH -that was a legitimately terrifying high speed crash. like a crash is a crash but the way that car got torn up is insane -STAY AWAY FROM OLLIE BEARMAN BTW -kevin supporting mick is So Important like an older sibling trying to break the cycle w/ a shitty parent. kevin i love u -ALSO underrated ship. btw -respectfully. as someone who knows nothing abt cars. if the haas keeps having problems splitting in half during crashes mayb. its a car issue. just a thought -faldskjfalksjf but this monaco crash: thinkin abt during the race, kevin had a mechanical dnf nearly the same time, so when the camera cut from mick's smashed car to kevin standing on the side of the track, looking disappointed, there was legitimate confusion on who fucking crashed. anyway that goes to show MAYBE THE CAR IS JUST SHIT -sebmick. is indeed. important -i love the way mick thinks his name is only a blessing. i just love seeing other people be brutally positive in the face of adversity bc its what i aspire to try to do too. its a good mindset to have i hope he is doin well now <3 -small children humbling tf out of christian horner is so important actually -i'm so glad daniel knew what he was worth with haas. i'm so glad they couldn't damn afford him. as he should 💅 -mick & max ALSO underrated ship. this man is so shippable -i am glad max n mick got to have this lil battle tho. they got to have what their dads predicted finally :)

i saw it! i came in right before the red flag so i missed a bit, plus i was at a handball game so i didn't focus entirely. but what a way to win the championship, very good job kimi!! honestly i have been pretty against his f2 move but these days, i'm starting to kinda understand it. esp since the f2 car will be new to everyone, it wont be as big of a gap, and i also kinda see how doing more years in f2 could be better than 1-2 in f3 and then f2. but idk if they're expecting a f1 seat to be available for him in like what, 2026? lewis's contract is only until 2025 i think, but... merc has other juniors too.......

Introduction to the family

Ok first English is not my first language and I have dyslexia so please excuse my very obvious spelling mistakes.

When I first started this family I had just gotten the High School years pack so I made the Johnson family (real original I know). The family consists of mom Cara, dad Adam and there teen son Bobby and the cat Jack that's an Ocicat. (also they live in Copperdale)

Backstory for this is that Adam and Cara were highschool sweethearts and of course got pregnant at sixteen. When I start playing Bobby is a teenager and Cara and Adam are young adults.

So in this family I really wanted to focus on all the individual sims, because usually I have a family with six kids because who doesn't love chaos.

Cara - It was kinda boring to just have three sims in a household and have the same routine every day so of course she got pregnant again just because of chaos. She had a job in the beginning but the goddamn midlife crisis made it so she wasn't happy so she quit her job and became an artist. But made more money then with an actual job so yeah she's a stay at home mom now that just makes paintings all day and sell them for 300% markup at the garages sail wall thing.

Adam - His job is in the military, and he is currently a lieutenant colonel. I kinda love getting all the medals and that's my only goal with him.

Bobby - So i went to highschool maybe three times his entire highschool career. It got boring fast. He graduated with honors and is now living in San Myshuno with his bf and highschool sweetheart Wolfgang Munch and their dog Eli.

Ollie - She was born to cause chaos and that she didn't really do but it was more busy at least. She was a good baby and infant even tho when she became a toddler she was giving chucky core. But she's my little creative queen and has kinda good grades, but she's an overall happy child.

I also accidentally named the kids Johnson-Dailey because I somehow hallucinated that the mom was named Cara Dailey but apparently she never did and I should stop playing sims at 3 am.

So Wolfgang and Bobby are living their sweet life. They live in a little apartment in San Myshuno in the Fashion district. Wolfgang is a chef and Bobby is currently studying in Britechester university in the History program. And of course he has straight As (so far).

So I'm going to continue with Bobby and Wolfgang until Bobby has graduated because Sims are incapable of actually going to school and doing things right so when that's done im gonna switch back to his parents and focus on little Ollie.

Also the only good thing about high school years are the objects and clutter and the social media thing because u can basically cheat all the relationships.

Well that's it so far i will try to update as i go ;)

karl is so enthusiastic about the future and it’s one of his favorite things to talk about

like this man already knows he wants his son to be named Ollie (literally adorable) so obviously

i feel like karl wouldn’t get in a relationship if there wasn’t a mutual agreement that it would be somewhat serious from the get go

it would really depend on the situation but i think karl is an all or nothing kinda guy

so after about 3-4 years of dating he’s definitely sure he wants you in his future

the family and friends have been met, the embarrassing stories have been said, and the trauma has been noted, it’s time for commitment 😌 HAHA

(if you have them) is the type of guy to talk to your parents about it but not like asking for consent more so just telling them he’s definitely gonna do it, then reassuring them that he loves you and will take care of you so well and make you so happy :3

i’m sorry if this is a let down but...karl proposing wouldn’t be a big thing

he would do it in private at a place that is special for you guys and it would probably be a very sweet and intimate moment with just the two of you

he looks at your ring more than you do like sometimes he just holds your hand and looks at it in awe

you might not care but...the ring 😳 is literally gorgeous. this man def likes to spoil you. obvi not gonna put a reference photos cus i’ll let y’all be creative but let’s just say he spent more on this ring than he did on those pokemon boxes he lost

super rando one: after you guys are married, he jokingly re-enacts his speech from when he proposed every year on your anniversary. it’s so funny and adorable and just a very wholesome thing between you two :3

communication is key 👍

he puts a lot of effort into keeping things together between you two and you better do the same or you literally suck

most of the time if there is any issue ever he will bring it up to you. even if it’s something he knows is stupid and shouldn’t be bothering him

sometimes he feels bad about things and isn’t as open as he should be but this boy definitely wears his heart on his sleeve so you could totally tell

fighting with karl is like “I hate you so much right now, but at the end of the day I still love you way more than I hate you.”

Reki and Langa’s dynamic

It’s speculation at my part and a shameless rant on what i like about sk8 just to get it off my chest I’ve been so fixated help

it’s 5am I’m at uni and i have a shit ton to do, am I really gonna make an essay about sk8 instead? yes abso-fucking-lutely. strap on to your metaphorical skateboards kids. this is going to be long ride

this isn’t to call out anyone lol so in case you get that impression I’m sorry. I understand everyone is out to interpret media in whatever they like and that’s fine, but sometimes i feel like either some missed some points of the story? anyway here are my thoughts tho

alright so what i absolutely love about sk8 is how they didn’t make anyone into a genius.Genius is a mockery of the hardships everyone does to attain that level of skills. And no Langa is not a genius or a prodigy which I will explain later. I’ve seen enough shounen animes back in the day and usually it’s ‘annoying heart of gold beginner vs. calm and collected genius’ they usually hate each other’s guts and bicker all the time though secretly, deep down care for each other but would rather die than admit it dynamic. While I’m glad we’re moving past that, I really thought Reki and Langa would be like that so....

imagine my surprise when Langa was the ‘beginner’ in skating. He has the potential to be a second sasuke here lol. (blue, handsome, cool) but no he isn’t. he’s an adorable idiot, an airhead, head empty only skating dude and i love it.

Reki as well. He could have been the usual protagonist. (sucks at his sport, loud, hardworking, and by the power of friendship he suddenly beats everyone else which i think is pretty overused at this point, don’t you think?) some people complain how Reki despite being the MC isn’t given screentime and hasn’t won a single beef. (and sure that’s true. he should have won some and langa lose some but we only have 12 eps so lol) but he’s not the usual protagonist you know? and sk8 isn’t about winning. if it was, I think they would have focused on the techniques. the hows and the what to do.

Idk if you noticed, but sports anime with winning in its goal would often explain in detail certain techniques. (see haikyuu) but shows like Free and Yuri on Ice isn’t exactly talking about how to win that seriously as Haikyuu did. It’s more focusing on the feelings and how their lives are affected with their passion for this sport. it’s about the character development!!! and i think SK8 is something like that too. It explores the character’s feelings rather than sport. (like what i tell my sister, they use the sport as a character device if that makes sense?)

this was literally in the opening lol. it’s really about the feelings you know?

so anyway it’s been pointed out several times that Reki was already feeling insecure about his skills in skating since ep 1 way before Langa came. But he still likes to skate and despite feeling never enough, he still enjoyed it. (some also pointed out that Reki’s reason of going into a beef against Shadow has been because he insulted his way of skating not because he wanted to be the best) so the show from the get go was already hinting at his self esteem issues.

this also implies that Reki has always been feeling like this in a while, added with his tendencies to bottle things up, it makes sense that he’ll blow up at some point and he’ll need to release all of those feelings. (so yeah i think this is just the right amount of eps for their fall out. i see some people complaining shush. otherwise it would also feel too rushed. this is years weighing him)

and i guess it’s also implied in here he’s had days like these too in the past! seriously it’s an ongoing problem he’s been carrying. i think 3 eps is pretty good enough pace to internalize it

so point: Reki was already down way before Langa came. langa just added to that. And don’t go blaming Langa cause the boy did nothing wrong.

Consider that Langa just lost his dad (i think we need more backstory on this though. please sdsjkdksl i need little Langa and his dad interactions) he just moved countries, and the only connection to his dad (snowboarding) is gone cause it doesn’t snow in OKinawa

though one also argues that Langa hasn’t been snowboarding since his dad was gone.

so for Langa, Reki introducing skating to him was revolutionary. You’re someone grieving over the death of what is probably the most important person in your life, the thing you love the most no longer gives you joy (as was shown in the flashbacks and basically Langa going ‘it’s the same’) and you’re in a new country with a language you barely are fluent. you can’t even read or write, and you barely have friends granted you don’t have much back in the day. it’s horrible.

and then this guy you barely know talks to you, befriends you, helps you get a job, and teaches you something you thought you’ve lost and through that you made more friends??

yeah you see why Langa likes Reki. You also see why he’s obsessed with skating. It’s kind of like a coping, a fixation. plus he’s bad with social cues i guess? the interview says he’s likely to get dumped for being too inattentive lmao and that’s what makes him interesting!

also the thing that really surprised me when they first interacted was how supportive Reki is to Langa. it also got to me with how much Langa thinks highly of Reki. Again a deviation to the ‘i say i hate you but deep down i care for you’ trope. they’re full on supportive and protective. i like that. it’s fresh to me. I thought Reki was going to the tsundere ‘hmph that’s not a big deal’ route at the start of ep 2 but he’s really amazed. (kinda also says he’s been very desperate for someone to share skating with but that’s another topic)

so Reki teaches Langa how to skate. and Langa sucks. Which was interesting to me because I thought Langa would be some flawless prince-like character. But nah. He trips and faints at his own blood lol. He’s so uncool and i love it.

Some people say Langa is over powered with a thick ass plot armor which gets him to win (which is why i see people saying he should have won against Joe and I actually agree that Langa should lose some beefs but again only 12 eps, so little time)

but I still wanna talk about it anyway so it’s revealed Langa was snowboarding since 2. That’s 15 years. I think that should be around the same time Joe and Cherry should be skating. and i think if you start earlier as a kid, your body develops differently. (should Langa, “an amateur” win against Joe a pro? the question falls more on whether you can classify Langa as an amateur) i think it’s like Langa being very used to motorcycle tricks from age 2 then suddenly he’s using a regular bicycle, and sure the feeling is mostly the same but there’s just something off. Your body doesn’t easily forget what you know, especially if it did it for 15 years. and so Reki customizes a board for Langa so it’ll feel exactly like snowboarding

So Langa has a customized board that he needed to get used to before he went pro. He really sucked the first few eps lmao. but that’s more of him getting used to the new rules. he pretty much told Reki in ep 2 that he can’t do a skateboard ollie, but he can do a snowboard one bec it’s attached to his feet.

(i may just want to add that one thing i also like about sk8 is that it really doesn’t care what you need for accommodation? if that’s how you do it best, then go for it. When Langa says to Reki he can’t do the ollie without the board attached to his feet, Reki immediately goes his way to accommodate him. usually people in real life might say ‘it’s not real skateboarding if you need a modification etc. but look at Cherry with a freaking AI board and people are like yeah whatever do what you want man. whatever rolls your board.)

so anyway Langa vs. Joe with Langa winning despite being an amateur? if you can even call him an amateur that is. Plus all his tricks are snowboarding tricks lol. everything he’s done is testament to his 15 years of snowboarding?? We don’t even know how good Langa is in snowboarding. Someone make a post about how difficult the snowboarding equivalent of those tricks Langa has done just to show people it means he’s pretty pro (I’ll even argue maybe Langa’s real talent is his creative ways of going around things which kind of why Adam is highkey obsessed, and calls Cherry who calculates everything to the last second boring but that’s a different can of worms I’m opening later) plus Langa barely won against Joe so there’s not much difference in level i think. Should Langa have lost though?

I think some have missed the point of that beef in Reki’s pov. and if the Renga reconciliation is done well, it would be worth it.

that beef got Reki to realize he what he really wants! that it’ll kill him if he can’t skate anymore! that he doesn’t wanna only cheer on for others and be a support! THAT HE WANTS TO SKATE BY LANGA’S SIDE WHICH IS THE REASON FOR ALL THIS INSECURITIES if Langa lost, that cathartic realization might not have happened. He might have gone to Langa and cheered him up, brushed off his insecurities and, made up with Langa halfheartedly without addressing his problems

I’m going to go back to Reki’s insecurities. In ep 6 he’s been afraid of being left behind, and sure Langa came back for him but he still forgot until midway. (will that parallel how Langa got too excited with the idea of skating, the same feeling he thought he lost forever. The same thing that he thinks connects him with his dad, and might have left Reki behind, but later remembers and goes back to chase him? hopefully) in ep 4 it’s obvious he’s afraid of the near death experience Adam gave him, and he’s just realized how different their skills were. in ep 5 he worries about Langa, enough to get nightmares about it. mixed with his friend getting hurt. it’s obvious the feelings are very very muddled there.

So he begs Langa not to skate with Adam.

And what did Langa do? say that he wanted to skate with Adam. (again he’s not the most attentive. he probably thinks he’s just skating with his best friend, all is good then boom. Reki leaves. as a person shit with dealing with other people, i don’t blame him at all) he’s trying to fix it though, but his bond with Reki primarily revolves around skating! how else was he going to warm up with Reki? He also doesn’t know that Reki has self esteem issues that’s always been there since the beginning. He probably doesn’t understand it too because he holds Reki up highly. in ep 6 when Reki was going over his board, Langa thinks he’s pretty cool. he didn’t hear what other said to Reki. He’s earnestly having fun with his friend

We should also note that Reki was never angry at Langa’s skills, he wasn’t resentful that Langa was far ahead. Again he’s been nothing but supportive. He doesn’t want to pull Langa down. He wasn’t like Miya’s friends that lashed out at Miya for being better. in ep 7 he tries his best to follow Langa

it feels like he’s mostly regretful that he can’t catch up. he doesn’t want Langa to slow down, he wants to go faster and meet him where he was. So it makes the realization that all he wants to do was be in equal with Langa more frustrating because he thinks he can’t keep up. (and this only ever started when he heard he’s like Langa’s plus one. there’s that daunting feeling about being pulled around. not being his equal)

if you need further proof, when Langa and Joe were having a beef, he wasn’t aggressively hoping Langa would lose. in fact he encouraged him. He worries deeply He calls him out when he was doing badly. Still very supportive as ever. So really the frustration isn’t to Langa, again, it’s all internal. He wants to be better

so he’s feeling shit and Langa goes to him in the middle of the rain, bless langa for trying, thinking talking about skating (what he thinks Reki loves and would probably cheer him up, not knowing that’s exactly his problem) tells him

which is probably the worst he could say.

THAT’S what got Reki mad, not really Reki being insecure though that’s part of it, that’s what they’re fighting about, Reki is angry he’s breaking his promise. He thinks Langa doesn’t care about Reki, that he’ll easily break a promise between them that Reki obviously cares about just so he can go skate with Adam who is way better than him. It blows to the self esteem. Reki probably also think that if only he was better, langa wouldn’t bother skating with someone that dangerous. it doesn’t help at all.

but langa doesn’t know this. he doesn’t see all this. Langa might have been too up the high of skating like in ep 6, he sorta left Reki behind again.

it kinda makes Langa’s mom’s words hit harder though

and he did just that. he got too engrossed.

It parallels adam, cherry and joe’s friendship then probably tadahsi’s too but who knows? reki and langa, and tadashi and adam might parallel too, the master and the student thingy Adam might have gotten too obsessed. So Joe trying his best to make sure Reki and Langa won’t end up like them hits a little harder in my chest ;’)

but Langa won’t be to engrossed i think

because unlike Adam who’s aggressively looking for his ‘equal’, Langa is just looking for someone who makes his heart beat, to make him feel like he’s skating with his dad again, someone he loves dearly. (there’s a parallel about loves here too between Adam’s and Langa’s. but I can’t write it now) and he probably already thinks Reki is his equal anyway. He just wants to have fun. he doesn’t think much about the skills.

maybe at first he does. that’s why he’s drawn to Adam but from ep 9, it was pretty much shown that skills really doesn’t matter from when he skated against Joe

if Adam easily discarded his friends because he think they’re boring (which was why the whole skateboard to the face thing with Cherry), langa doesn’t think like that

if anything Reki is important to Langa because he only has fun skating with Reki, who taught him how to skate and made his board. (his board that was customized to fit his style btw, and arguably the only reason he could skate that well. without it, he might as well be a beginner once again.) so without reki, langa is left with nothing. especially with his broken board

no fun in skating, no way of skating. He’s only manage to get this far because of Reki and he knows that now. All of it would be pointless if he doesn’t have Reki (and either he gets so obsessed in chasing that feeling again, or he stops completely) but in case you haven’t noticed it, Langa’s motivation revolves around having fun with skating no matter the skill or place. And he’s having most fun with Reki.

But Reki obviously doesn't know Langa’s feelings. He thinks Langa was forever looking for someone better. So he’s still caught up in the idea that Langa won’t want to skate with him (even though Langa has never shown this) and he left S entirely, thinking what he wants is impossible. fucking just talk you two motherfucker

(I also wanna point out that Reki has always been shown from episode one to be good at making boards. And that’s amazing? We need some support recognition and appreciation, seriously) I think maybe most who find problem with Reki not winning beefs like the usual shounen protags aren’t used to the nuance and perspective of being someone ‘ordinary’. Reki’s character is relatable because most of us feel ordinary, never enough, surrounded by geniuses, ‘inferior’. And if we’re being realistic since a lot are saying joe should have won because langa winning is unrealistic and you want realism so bad no I’m not salty at all there will always be someone better than you. ALWAYS. but what’s important is for you to have fun in what you love! in what makes you happy! AND even if you’re not good at one thing (in Reki’s part, skating) he’s also good at other things (making boards) so does he need to stop one for the other? no. He’s shown to enjoy skating with Langa, he doesn’t wanna stop it hurts him so much he quit. But he can also hone his skills in making boards as well as skate. He’s equal with Langa in a way he doesn’t even notice when he made that board for Langa, but even Reki’s presence alone makes Langa enjoy skating the way Reki also wants Langa by his side.

So I think the next ep is the best time to confront all these feelings. And how it happens might be what’s tricky. Like romantic or not, i personally can read it both ways though i prefer if they do become canon. (idk if it’s queerbaiting. i guess friends can care as deeply as that but ngl, these shounen bestfriends having deep connections that are written off as friends while also giving us bland af hetero love interests who did nothing but exist and be straight really is messing with my perception of romantic and platonic love irl) anyway their talk better be done really well, or else all those episodes of tension would be for nothing

It’s a nice perspective to give a shounen protagonist this time. It’s new, it’s fresh. How many incarnations of underdog turned the best at their craft can you take? variety is nice! and if you don’t like it, there are always a dozen other animes like that for you to turn to. to conclude, IT ALL GOES BACK TO THE START: WHAT IS YOUR HAPPINESS???! AND FOR THEM IT’S THE POWER OF FRIENDSHIP BUT IN A VERY DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE. FRIENDSHIP DOESN’T SUDDENLY GET YOU TO LEVEL 100000000000 TO DEFEAT THE FINAL BOSS. FRIENDSHIP IS WHAT MAKES DEFEATING THE FINAL BOSS WORTHWHILE

Anyway tldr; maybe the real Eve is the friends we made along the way :D and idk if I’m making sense but obviously I’m head empty only sk8. Renga needs to talk, i can’t believe they have the audacity to make a recap episode as if i wasn’t head empty only sk8 since february, and if there’s more emotional edging to come, i will burn some of the palm trees outside my house
