It was my first race in town. The track was great around the palm trees, the beach was behind the pits. Nice to go swimming between 2 races. I finished 3rd in practice behind my friends: Estéban and Charles. Charles is Monegasque, he already knew the circuit from the previous year. I start second in the Prefinal, and at the second corner, my rear wheel gets caught in the wall and PAFF!!! Accident. The 14 karts arriving behind me hooked me. I had a little pain and my kart even more than me. The shaft was bent in 3 places, my steering column dead and so were my tie rods. My father had to do a lot of mechanics for me to make the Final starting last. I moved up to 7th by doing the maximum, I was a little disappointed. For fun, we did a lap of honor with my friends applauded by the crowd.
