I loved and cried about how the entire color scale of the movie changed in the last 5mins of the movie and it felt like i was in a dream or something. The hardships Kiwan had to go through as a North Korean running away to Beijing and then to Europe, trying to get citizenship so that they couldn't send him back to Beijing where his mother died trying to save him . The last line "I realised in the end that my wish was to never live in a country but the right to leave it whenever i wanted". Anddddd the whole romance plot was so good we saw Joongki as a soft vulnerable guy in this movie trying to get a better life. Marie's past and her mother's death affected her in a bad way. Love how they both were each other's light through the darkness.
Honestly after watching "20th century girl" "Soulmate" "Man in Love" "La La Land" "Past Lives" "Me before You" i was so sure am going to get a sad ending again but i was so surprised by the ending (which they deserved obviously after everything they went thru) this movie really said "I'm gonna make you cry and offer you tissues at the same time" watch itt yrr
yes i love playing call of duty. yes im really bad at it. yes i imagine gaz wants to come out of the tv like the girl from the ring and strangle me bc i accidentally make him Suffer The Most
