Lestat Niki Louis Gabrielle Armand
Louis- my sweet cheese my good time boy... i joke about him because he's silly but he's just... so important to me. his constant melancholy and general pathetic demeanor is probably exactly what i would be like as a vampire tbh. he feels the most real and tangible to me, and also the most classic vampire. but he's not like the other GIRLSS!!!! i love how everyone is just so crazy about him, describes him in long poetic prose, and is just in a general agreement that he is the best ever. i will read the paragraphs where the others describe him over and over. meanwhile he is just this Guy with big wet eyes. i love that he is covered in dust. i love reading abt how he adjusts to the modern world but still kind of sticks to the time he was born in (aesthetically/in his mannerisms). i love that he does not try to get involved with vampire drama. he is quiet and thoughtful and nice :) BUT HE SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hate him
Armand- my relationship with armand and lestat is kind of weird, i feel like in some books i am more of a lestat fan but in others i am insane about armand way over lestat. armand is always staying at a constant place in my heart, meanwhile lestat kinda dances around that? he is a tentative 2nd ig? i love his ominous demeanor. he is both so in control yet so insecure. he's untrustworthy but he loves sincerely, and in the most vice-grip kinda way. his quiet manipulation and desperation for love feels like it's introduced very well in iwtv and fleshed out so amazingly in following books. he's pretty consistently written, which is just really satisfying and nice when almost no one else is UHHHHHHHHHHH
Gabrielle- i just really like her... idk i'm always so excited to read about her... i want to be her i want her gender
Lestat- sorry sorry i'm really weird about lestat GHJJ. i don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not in the fandom but i do not love how he is characterized post iwtv. i understand ar's desire to turn him more likeable in order to be a main character, but i also think it could have been done better. i think he could have been developed slowly. i HATE. the fact that he's retconned into only killing criminals??? absolutely not. i started tvl extremely excited to see the development of the character from the first book and instead it kind of feels like an entirely different guy. i don't dislike every part obvs! i love how he flips the vampire trope on its head. i love everything he stands for. i love him. but i don't agree with the retconning even if it made the story more digestable or lestat more likeable. we were not supposed to like him in the first book, so why not give us a legitimate reason to like him in the 2nd book instead of saying "nah louis lied haha. love me." for this reason i'll always put louis' FACTUAL description of events over lestat's, whereas the parts like where he describes louis begging him to stay and all that actually do make sense. adding to the story instead of subtracting. anyway i do like him!!! i swear i love lestat. um but he kind of makes me mad.
Nicki- tbh i really need to reread tvl but i do remember loving him, i just can't remember enough of him to rank higher lmfao. i like his comparison to louis, and the fact that he kind of can't get over his jealousy for his own boyfriend. i like how his fall into madness was described, and how lestat basically loses all interest in him. also armand fucked up arc (still has not ended). thinking about him makes me sad (in a good way). top ten reasons to reread tvl

downloaded the pocket mirror soundtrack AUUUGH. who was going to tell me that the same theme that plays in the beginning over elise giving her the pocket mirror is the same that plays throughout the emotional scenes.

she'd laugh but upon seeing your stone cold face her anger would rise

"Of course we're playing the same game!" The first one chuckles. "I love the secrets you've written, by the way."
"Yeah, see, that's just it," the second one says, crossing their arms. "You know I'm fine with you reading my books -- spelling errors and all that -- but, it feels like, and correct me if I'm wrong, but it feels like you're not playing the same game I am."
"Oh?"
"Yeah so, the secrets, this is a Life series yeah? It's supposed to be a little bloody, a little cruel?"
"Oh it is! It is! Did you see the one Impulse got? No killing allowed! On a server with so many mobs, that's terrifying!"

There is a noticeable pause where the first one's quill stops scratching. When the silence stretches so long it almost gets awkward, they finally say, "Nnnnnnnnnooooo. N... Nooo. No. Definitely not."

"Definitely not."
"Alright. How about uhm, how about giving BDubs the task to kill the ender dragon?"
"That was plenty evil! Hard task that."
"Right, and you let Impulse, the one who can't kill anything, go with him to help complete that task, right?" There is another noticeable silence from the first one, so the second one continues. "You don't think setting up a guy who MUST kill something with a guy who CAN'T kill something might, you know, help the Must guy reach his goal at all?"
The first one clears their throat uncomfortably.
"Yeah, I really don't think we're playing the same game."

Im so sorry. Some people are just rude, they have no right to act this way. I have a friend with a stellium in the 3rd and she sounds a little too nice sometimes and this makes sick people see her as someone to be mean to. The problem is them not you but im going to give you some advice that can make you come across as more respectable ↓
RESPECT ADVICE 🪄
Dont apologize too much when you talk. This is something you might not be aware of but a lot of people say ”sorry” a lot and This can make you come across as insecure and like you are beneath others. (ofc you should say sorry if you do something bad). BUT when you are sorry instead of saying ”omg soooorrryyy I was late! Omg im horrible” Say ”Thank you for waiting for me guys, the bus was late.”
Dont make too many jokes about yourself. Ofc you shouldnt take yourself TOO seriously. But the risk is that if you dont take yourself seriously AT ALL, other people wont either. Dont say stuff like ”Haha Im so stupid, how did I not know that.” Instead say ”Oh really! I didnt know that, now I do, Thank you!” because trust me, people listen to what you say.
If someone is staring you down. Stare back completely quiet. Dont try to break the ice, because trust me. This is a tactic that manipulators often use to see if you will try to break the ice or if you will do the same back. Its a tactic they might not even be aware of themselves. How you handle their stare tells them a lot about how you handle disrespect.
Dont call yourself too many nasty words. Im guily of this myself tho so im not one to speak. Dont call yourself a bitch because you forgot to do something that you said you would do.
How you walk says a lot. If you are walking into the gym for example. Just walk straightly to the locker room. You dont need to look around nervously to see if people are staring at you or not.
Wear clothes that make YOU feel comfortable. Trust me your whole behaviour changes when you wear clothes you actually feel good in. If you only like black clothes, then only wear black clothes. And if someone says ”You should wear more colors” dont say ”Omg I knooooow I shouuuulldd” No, instead you say ”You think so? I feel good in black actually, but YOU look good in your colors”.
Look people in the eye when they talk to you. Dont stare at them in a creepy way tho.
If you dont like a joke dont fake laugh. Say ”What do you mean by that?” Or say ”Thats just uncalled for and distasteful”
Dont fake laugh because you are nervous. It makes you look super nervous and insecure. I did this all the time before. Say something in a straighforward way you dont need to giggle or say ”or i dont know hihi” or ”i sound so crazy right now”.
If someone tells you you look nice dont say ”No I dont” or ”Nooo you look much better” Instead say ”Thank you so much, you look good too!”
If you disagree with something dont say ”I dont knowwwe hehe” say ”I dont agree with you”.
And remember, you are not supposed to make them like you. You are supposed to wonder if YOU like them. Dont walk into a room with the goal of making people like you. They are gonna have to suck up to you! If you grew up in an abusive home all of this will be hard, but try my advice for a month and see the difference 💕

I just read your latest post about a crossover between Twisted Wonderland and Obey Me, and it is the best thing I've ever written because I could just picture Lucifer and Malleus at odds with each other! thinking about wcz seeming the "calmer/less reactive" parent (and he usually is) so wwx typically confided in his dad more... until wwx tells his dad "offhandedly" about his cool new friend in school who's really smart and funny and "perfect-looking, honestly" for over an hour, to which, wcz just "hmm"s and "ahh"s and "i see"s from where he's "tinkering w a talisman" (but has actually ruined the paper with huge blobs of ink).

Basically when Hiei realizes his in love, the first thing he'll do is be in denial, about how he could fall for a human.
Then he'll have a talk session with Kurama, probs asking for advice, waits for you to confess first(But gets impatient so in the end confesses first) and dropping barely noticeable hints.
Hiei having a crush is very much new to him, so do cut him some slack~

Kurama having a crush is....interesting to say the least.
Now Kurama wouldn't care much for looks, the first thing is personality and how well you'll get along with his family.
But he'll be the type where 'You fell first but he fell harder' and when he does it hits him real hard.
Unlike Hiei there's no denial, its more like ''What am I feeling?''
When he asks his mom and tells her everything, he discovers that what he feeling was love....
Love for you? How unexpected.
At first he would try to push those feelings away since he doesn't want you to get involved in things that are none of your business.
Yoko at first also just wanted to use you for...somethings but soon fell hard for you just like Shuichi did.
I feel like the time when Shuichi confessed to you, Yoko was itching to take over Shuichi and just kiss hug you lol
He definitely confesses first, with the flowers and beneath a tree.

''Are you be free this coming weekend?'' Kurama asked kissing your Backhand, you blushed and just nodded to his question due to being embarrassed. ''Hm..good, I would love to take you on a...date~'' Kurama said smiling tenderly at you but his cheeks have darken shades of pink. ''O-Oh...i..I'll see you then!'' You unintentionally yell, he just chuckles and kissed your backhand again.
When Kurama falls in love, as I stated above. He falls hard.
He will be the best boyfriend you'll ever have!(Not like you guys will break up)

people that actually think (and bitch about) Harley "being part of the Batfam" are so annoyingly funny to me cause like y'all really saw a couple panels & group shots and just ran with it huh? no bothering to even read the dialogue cause who does that? like oh nooo, she was there during the war her ex started and she tagged along with Batman cause she'd literally saved his life and she wanted to put an end to Joker.
Bruce: "Joker's at Ace Chemical. I'll go to him there. I'll put an end to this."
Harley: "And I'm going with, so I can kill Joker."
Jason: "Wait what?!"
