This Amber-makes-it-to-D2 au. Is there any universe where she’d be a tribute for D2? Probably not if Petra and Selene are in the running, huh (it is VERY clear who wins that fight). Or does she go in the “this one has a SHIT time in everything else, here she grows up and gets happily married in a quiet little border town” box. What happens to Polly in regular universes (if it’s not too sad)? In the runaway verse?

Polly in the regular universe gets scouted for the Academy (safe? we all know that's a lie), but the rebellion happens before she's ever old enough for it to matter. odds are she dies when the Academy is destroyed. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

in the runaway verse Amber brings Polly with her, and they BOTH get adopted by the border town couple. birth records are easy enough to fake out in the quarries since no one cares uptown until it's Reaping time, so by the time she's eligible she just gets her thumb prick and no one's the wiser

Amber born in D2 would be happy to let Petra and Selene slug it out, lol. she's there to make money for her sister, and she's competitive, sure, but like ................... ok, weirdos. she'd never lose on PURPOSE and she'd probably be right up there with them individual scores-wise but no way is she getting in the middle of that mess.

What weather does your PC prefer? Why?

Vehn likes the heat! He runs hot from being a tiefling, and he just enjoys basking in the sun and warmth. Sunny days, no clouds in the sky. Just endless blue and a million possibilities. Summer weather and clear days were also better for him to survive in when he was younger and on the road and the streets of Baldur's Gate. It was easier to sleep under the stars when it was warm than try to find some kind of shelter when it was freezing or storming.

How does your PC fidget?

Sol really doesn't fidget. He's very trained in his posture and how he holds himself. Stiff, straight backed, no unnecessary movements. He was trained to not speak or act unless someone directly addressed him, and old habits are hard to break, especially when they used to come with punishment.

If he's really feeling anxious, you might be able to catch the slightest clench of his jaw, or the sudden tight way he grips his weapon.

How much does your PC think about their actions before they execute them?

Ambrosia considers her actions a fair bit. She understands the reach of her choices and makes sure to think over what any immediate consequences could be. She may not always be a step ahead, but she's at least considering the present.

Captain Ambrosia Cookie!

Previously a hunter of various sea beasts, they now act as the face of many deals and arrangements on behalf of clients. They are a direct connection to getting your hands on many different goods, from whole ships with experienced crew, to simple barrels of bait for all your poaching needs.

They also double as sales, coming to whoever they like most as a provider for those high rolling clients in need of something specific, or straight up pitching to one of their clients on your behalf. For a cut, anyway.

Of course, being a hub for such important deals can be very risky if someone gets shorted, or ripped off... Any salesman knows that, but hey, that's the cost of doin' business.

anon i value you so much I have thoughts on this

whiplash: freaks the fuck out like a startled cat. climbs on top of the shelves to get away from anyone in the store. the store has to be closed because this fucking thing is here dripping blood everywhere and hiding in the store until they can remove it and clean up.

swordsmachine: confused. looks around for an exit so he can figure out whats going on but on the way gets distracted and ends up just browsing through all the items in the store and accidentally knocking things off shelves. i imagine employees watching horrified as this big fuckass machine tries to figure out whats up with yogurt

v666: also confused but instead of getting distracted it just leaves the store. probably destroys stuff thats in the way instead of just walking around things.

ambrosia: "Erm..." walks around pretending to know whats going on. fascinated by the different aisles and products and asks anyone they may encounter "have you seen this? absolutely brilliant..." and it's just cake mix. brings a bunch of stuff to the registers to buy it but since they dont have any money they just leave it all there and go outside.

uriel: gets really mad kills everyone there and breaks through a wall

lucifer: is incredibly dramatic about it.. falls to the floor weeping in the deli aisle has to be consoled by an employee whom he proclaims his new best friend. she follows them around until the store closes and then follows them home. becomes infatuated with the singer of the music playing on the speakers in the store if they have that..

blue ferryman: stands there awkward and embarrassed. someone approaches her and she gets really scared and curls into a ball on the ground until they leave

insurrectionist & maurice: IMPROVISE ADAPT OVERCOME. they become accustomed to the supermarket until the insurrectionist is arrested for public indecency

if they were all there together it would be the same except they would start killing eachother.
