Have You Seen This Lost GUMI Anime Pilot?

This is a bit of an unusual post for this blog, but I think I may have come across a case of lost media involving an anime pilot starring GUMI. It's possible that it exists on the Internet, and I hesitate to declare this as "lost media," but I cannot find it anywhere, and I figured that a post on this blog was the best way to see if anyone has any leads or extra info.

The anime is titled "Koisuru Dessan Ningyo," with an English title of "Do Drawing Dolls Dream of Love?" I don't know the runtime of the pilot, but I think it was most likely around 5-7 minutes. I believe this could have been the first instance of a Vocaloid being cast in a main voice acting role (perhaps, the first one cast in any voice acting role). I'm not completely sure if they actually used the Megpoid voicebank, or had Megumi Nakajima voice act as GUMI, but the way AnimeAnime (Japanese anime news site) describes it, it seems like it may have been the former. In either case, the character that GUMI portrays in the anime is a character that is clearly made to resemble her.

(These are the only screenshots I could find that come from the pilot, but more may exist.)

The main character is a doll (who I'm not sure is named), who models for a girl's drawings before eventually falling in love with her. I don't believe GUMI's character has a name, but she plays a main role as the girl the doll falls in love with.

Where It Was Seen

The pilot aired on NHK TV on January 9, 2014, during late night (possibly just after midnight?). It aired alongside another pilot as part of the program Aoyama 1seg Kaihatsu. This was a sort of tournament, where two pilots were broadcast once a month for three months, and viewers would vote for which pilot they liked best. Then, the three winners would go against each other in a final round, where the pilot with the most votes would get picked up to become a series. (I think they held this tournament once a year from 2010 to 2014 or 2015, though I don't know if it was the exact same every time.) The broadcast was 25 minutes long for each of the first three rounds, with the first half dedicated to showing both pilots and the second half dedicated to presentations about each pilot. (This is why I think this pilot was around 5-7 minutes, though I'm not sure exactly how much time commercial breaks would take up.) For a few years, including 2014, the program was hosted by the now-disbanded Japanese girl group E-girls (no relation to what you and I know as "e-girls." in their case the E stands for "exile.")

According to the official Tumblr account, karappo-heart, this pilot won the first round of the competition! It probably didn't make it out of the finals, though, since it didn't get picked up for a series. It's also possible that it did win, but some other issues prevented its production. In any case, the Tumblr account hasn't been updated since the first round ended. While this contest was going on, three shorts were apparently available to watch on NHK's website, but they have since been removed. I think at least one of the shorts was web-exclusive. I haven't been able to find info on who actually won the finals, or even what GUMI's short won against.

People Involved

The doll is portrayed by a masked dancer refererred to as Hitori de Dekiru Mon. I can't find much info about him online, but I think his real name is Takemura Ryohei. (I'm not sure because that part on his Japanese Wikipedia article has a "citation needed" label.) AnimeAnime specifically refers to his role as being the doll's "human form," though it's possible he provided voice acting too. AnimeAnime points out the unusual nature of having a human portray a doll, and having a Vocaloid portray a human.

Masanori Okamoto (who also wrote the screenplay and produced the pilot) animated the pilot with the pixilation technique, using time-lapse pictures to show movement of objects and people (this may have included live-action photos of the doll's actor portraying a "human form" of the doll). It seems like it may have blended stop motion/puppetry and live action stills with traditional animation? This is an example of Okamoto's work from around the same time, which seems like it might have been made in a similar style:

The third known person to have worked on this is none other than Vocaloid producer sasakure.UK. He composed the theme song, which of course features GUMI, and a few other songs to be used in potential future episodes. If you're a big fan of his, the anime title may sound familiar to you, as he released 3 of these songs (though both news sites I looked at, AnimeAnime and Anime News Network, say he made 4 total) plus their instrumentals as an EP under the same title. You can listen to the whole thing on YouTube!

I think this EP uses GUMI's VOCALOID3 voicebanks (the first sounds like either Native or Sweet, the second one sounds like Adult or Power (if it even is GUMI--it sounds more like IA to me, but sasakure.UK labeled it as a GUMI song so I kinda have to take his word for it) and the third sounds like Sweet). If that's the case, her V3 voicebanks would have probably been used for the voice acting, too.

Places I've Looked

After some Internet searches only garnered me a few screenshots, I decided to see if there was a way I could ask sasakure.UK himself about the short. I believe he has a contact form on his website, which I used to send a message in both Japanese and English (in case Google Translate was more helpful to him than my incoherent Japanese). This was back in May of this year and I never received a response. (Since I used a website contact form and not a direct email, I don't have the message I sent him anymore. I guess that's lost media now too.)

It occured to me while writing this post that I never contacted the animator himself, Masanori Okamoto. While his Vimeo and YouTube pages don't have the pilot, and his Twitter and Tumblr links haven't been updated in several years, he does have an email address listed. I sent him a message (in English because I was too sick and tired to try to write a coherent email in Japanese and I don't like waiting to do these things). I'm not sure he still checks his email since his social media that I've found has all been inactive for years, but I will post an update if he responds.

I know that this pilot is not on the NHK website, or, again, on the animator's YouTube or Vimeo pages. I also could not find it on the Internet Archive.

Now, I don't expect anyone reading this to have saved this on their computer and kept it there since 2014. But with this post, my goal is simply to make more people aware that this exists at all, and I'd also like to learn more about it myself (such as whether or not the pilot won in the finals after all, how much animation actually exists for it, if any more screenshots are out there, etc.)

I guess the problem with the pic is that their friend might have not known about the previous leak, so that new selca confirmed that the initial pic was real and it was not cosplayers as ppl have been saying for all those years? it’s not the first time I was seeing it but at least until now the official statement was that it’s a fake (though most of us knew it was legit) now this excuse doesn’t work anymore so it does expose them though it’s not like it’s a super compromising picture either. honestly ppl should think a bit more but posting stuff on their account..

I guess the new pic on its own wouldn't have made any noise if idiot Jikookers didn't start posting about the cosplayer photo.

That being said, I still think some people are over reacting. Just share Jikook stuff on your account and this thing will be buried and forgotten. If people can move on from Rosebowl they will move on from this. You posting over and over about people spreading the photos doesn't help matters. It only keeps the story alive??

Antis will anti no matter what. Tkkrs will continue to tkk. People need to calm down imo this is being blown out of proportion.

And Jokers need to stop defending the original photo. Why do u care that they think it was Japanese cosplayers? So what? We don't need antis on our side anyway. They will just join the wishy washys and I can't handle anymore insecure Jikookers around. So let them think what they want to think. Damn.

I wasn't planning on talking anymore but I wanted to send you something to hopefully counter all of the doubters that were bumming you out. 😊 People react very emotionally right away when something like this happens, and I think they should at least take time to process everything before getting into any discussions. This isn't even our first round of shenanigans this year. I've been a Taekooker for a long time and the outV/outJK hate campaign has been around at least as long so this is not my first or second rodeo. They almost always follow the same pattern. The Taennope situation is the one outlier and while a lot of people were panicking immediately after the Paris video, most eventually came back around because the weirdness of the whole thing is obvious to the point media play started being the only explanation that makes sense. Features that are almost always present are a combo of real pics/videos and edited or fake photos/videos that get debunked, a lot get debunked very quickly. What they try to pass of as "proof" usually hides the identities somehow, no recognizable or only partially visible faces, blurring, facing away from the camera, or obstructed view. There's always coordination between multiple accounts that start posting everything together, they often end up contradicting each other or overplay their hand by embellishing too much and adding something that is very obviously untrue. One of the most interesting things to me about the most recent shenanigans is the similarities in the "proof" to JK's "scandal" in 2019. What we got first was a pictures of CC camera footage that showed JK backhugging a woman. This actually showed visible and identifiable faces. It was definitely him. I engaged a lot more on Twitter at the time and was in a group chat with a few big accounts and that day was a crazy one, because the accounts that started the rumor tagged us personally. I think they thought we'd freak out and spread it, but we all kept it in the chat and didn't make any public posts. Soon enough the rumor was officially denied, and the woman involved posted a letter saying they were just friends and she apologized for upsetting anyone (which she shouldn't have had to do). Maybe it's because I saw that go down in real time from a front row seat that the recent smear campaign doesn't get to me. I find the whole thing questionable in the same way every incident has been. Except this time Jungkook actually addressed it almost immediately and while talking directly to us. I've seen some imply he said "I don't have a girlfriend" (three times apparently "I don't have any girlfriend") as some sort of half-truth skirting around him having a gf when the video was shot but not now, but I don't think he would say that if he thought there was a risk anything was going to come up that would make it look like he tried to lie to his own fans. If that was a risk I think he would have just stayed quiet about it, and he certainly would have been advised to stay quiet by the company. I also think him expressing relief at having said that is very interesting. How long has he wanted to say something like that. I trust Jungkook. I put my trust in him over a group of people spreading these things, whether they are all real/some real/all fake, for one purpose: to hurt him by turning his fans against him. None of this is reason enough for me to doubt everything I've seen in Taekook. Earlier you said "I have a pretty clear idea in my head on how everything fits together", I feel that. I debunk a lot of Taekook for myself, but there's still a lot that is undeniable for me and I have everything lined up with receipts when it comes to them. The foundation of my belief just doesn't shake that easily. Thank you for posting pictures of them recently, because I think it's very easy for some to forget why they were here in the first place when there is so much confusion.

Happy new year Storm! I hope this ask isn't too long and sprawling. These events took place when I was younger, a bit more foolish about how to behave online as a fan. But it might be illuminating for some of your more aggressive anons, lol.

This thing we keep being pummelled with (about Jikook 'not being sighted together' so therefore not being together) is so tiring.

I remember a few years back I had spent some time in a forum dedicated to another 'are they, are they not' queer couple. Western celebrities, nothing to do with kpop. I was a fan of both these people independently, so I got very curious and intrigued about the idea of them together. On this forum, there was a lot of trying to line up dates of official events/second hand accounts from friends of friends who said they had seen Person A with Person B but never got pics, etc. It was like trying to pin down water in some cases, which frustrated people on the forum who were desperate for 'solid evidence', real confirmation.

One day, a very-famous good friend of Person A, perhaps more famous than either member of this speculated couple, came into my place of work, which was pretty darn exciting on its own. It also contradicted some narratives held on that forum regarding who was where and in which countries at what times. And that made me wonder how many other times that had been the case.

Now naturally, my initial plan was to report back to this forum and tell them about briefly meeting Famous Friend at my work. This was a Mild Scoop after all, another piece to the puzzle, a correction to the records. But a few things stopped me from doing it. I had no photo evidence that this person had been there at all, so it was another 'useless' unverifiable sighting.

But much more importantly, I realised if I posted ANY SPECIFICS WHATSOEVER about who it had been and where it was, then fans with fewer boundaries than I would be able to use my information to stalk. A very determined person could probably even have used the information to figure out whereabouts Famous Friend lived. Famous Friend was apparently a semi-regular at this place, on this occasion they had been with what seemed to be an older family member, and they were clearly dressed to go incognito. Hat and sunglasses indoors, etc. My place of work was somewhere they felt safe enough to go to repeatedly in their downtime, in the knowledge that they wouldn't be bothered or harassed by fans. I didn't want to be the person who ruined that small bit of normalcy for them.

So... I never posted anything to the forum. I just held onto the knowledge in my head that one particular thing wasn't true - Person A and Person B definitely DIDN'T meet with Famous Friend in Countryland at that point, because Famous Friend was in Placecountrytown at my work. I would simply never be able to prove it without compromising the privacy of people involved. And again, I wondered how many other times this could have happened with other people. Maybe this was why it was like trying to pin down water. Maybe that was a wonderful thing, actually.

Going back to Jikook - this is why it seems SO ENTIRELY BELIEVABLE to me whenever we hear that K-Army has stuff and keeps it LOCKED DOWN. That they see them a lot, but rarely let it leak to the international fanbase. That they know stuff we don't and will probably never know. The stakes are so much higher for Jikook if their relationship is a thing. I have no trouble at all believing that there are people all over Korea who have seen them out and about, but not wanted to be the weak link in the chain that breaks their bubble of privacy.

And not hearing about them going places, not seeing photographic evidence of friendships - does NOT mean they are not close. It means that people are doing the decent thing and saying nothing.

I know you know all of this already, but it seems some of your recent anons don't. Sorry again for the rambling message! 😶

I mean, the most recent and prime example is when that white Day photo leaked. Of Jikook with some friends out at a restaurant. K army was PISSED and so were so many other people. Fans started flocking to the restaurant and asking about jikook being there. Servers confirming that they used to come there and had gone there many times. But that they hadn't been coming back lately. And we had never heard of them going there before that leak, when staff stated that they had been coming multiple times before that. They stopped going once that photo was leaked. It was no longer a safe private place for them. Someone compromised that security for them and so they stopped going there. And for the most part k army (and j army too) are VERY protective of BTS, all 7 members. And I'm glad they are. I can't imagine the amount of exhaustion that comes from constantly having your privacy invaded and never knowing who is going to treat you normal or stalk you with their phones out whenever you leave the house. I'm positive all 7 of them, not just jikook, have safe places they like to visit and go to that give them that privacy and security too.

It's incredibly disrespectful to continuously invade their private time and their private life. And it's also incredibly disrespectful to assume they don't have one you aren't apart of because they are so famous. They will have their safe spaces and they deserve more of that. And they shouldn't have those spaces compromised.

I know that my pov diverge from most Jikookers here but I’m extremely wary about the debunking and the video being fake. For me, for now and until JK or Hybe say something (which they may not even do) I assume it’s real and it’s outrageous because someone must have been stalking him constantly. I don’t understand the drama some ppl are creating though because it doesn’t look like a romantic moment on the video, could totally be a friend. Anyway, I have my doubts about the Chinese and Korean fanbases because I’ve seen it happen many times before: to get rid of a leak Army say it’s fake even if it’s not because sometimes it’s the only way to go through the the storm and make fans move on to something else. I remember damn well the first time Jikook arch picture was making the rounds a few years ago for example. I knew it was legit but we were told to say it was fake and from cosplayers so I participated in the narrative so we could remove it from social media as much as possible. And most ppl wouldn’t believe it was real anyway so it worked and it became the official statement within the fandom. Personally I won’t let the fanbases dictate my judgement and my gut feeling, I’d rather listen to the members and official statement from the company. But I understand why bloggers are extremely careful about what they say and it’s not an easy position. All of this doesn’t affect my perception of Jikook at the end of the day so the outrage for me relies in the violation of privacy which has been increasing regarding a few members especially Jk.

The original poster who put the video up on Weibo has changed his story three times about where it was taken. First it was in JK's apartment, then in hers, then at a hotel. Then he said he didn't take it, but someone else did. Then the actor in the video came forward and said that these were scenes he was acting in and that it was never Jungkook. The original poster who put up the video has gone silent and his account, which was created exclusively to put up this vid, has no further posts.

I believe K-Army and the Chinese Army, because they're (a) closer to the source; (b) able to read the posts in the original language; and (c) more in the know about fandom culture in their respective nations.

The videos are fake. Nothing points toward them being true. I think it's safe to say that you won't be hearing anything from Hybe or JK, because the fakes are obvious and don't need to be addressed.

I think the heart arch photo was different, because it was VERY clear that those people were Jimin and JK, and again there was silence from the principals, but it was also a much smaller stir than this video has become.

I agree with you, though, that if it IS real (and I firmly believe it isn't), then there was an egregious violation of privacy, and that needs to be addressed. It bothers me that more fans are worried about JK maybe dating and maybe having a baby on the way than they are that someone has claimed to be able to get video from inside his home. Also, tell me how that would have happened - there's no logic to that claim at all. But if was somehow possible, that would be more worthy of outcry than any personal details ever would.

I think some people in this fandom need to get their priorities straight.

What do you guys think the King of Prism announcement is going to be? I'm coping really hard but here's the facts

The actual event is a nationwide showing of all the King of Prism media (twitter pointed out to me that they're showing best 10 before SSS which is out of order and they've also never done it in that order before)

After the first showing (March 22nd) there will be an announcement presented by the director + Shin's VA (Junta <3333). According to twitter this is the first public greeting by Hishida (the director) since 2019!

The announcement is said to be "fitting for the 8th anniversary"?

The 7th anniversary had multiple kuji/merch lines and none of them had a public announcement like this, which leads me to believe it'll be bigger than that. The vark virtual lives ALSO did not begin with a public announcement though going that far back it may have still been pandemic related, unsure.

The Prism Rush setting materials released a few months back, very very late like years after the game shut down. Could be coincidental or could be pandemic related, or could be announcement related.

Junta himself retweeted the announcement (duh) but also TWO separate former King of Prism composers and a choreographer retweeted the announcement with excitement.

None of the VAs have posted about the announcement yet (which honestly could be a sign in itself because Minato's VA (Igarashi Masashi) is known to post about KinPri every once in awhile).

Shoutan (Louis' VA) has been posting about an unrelated event called the King Super Live and it's caught me off guard more than once lmfao. Also if you really want to reach Shoutan posted a twitter photo of him with the caption "dubbing" without any other context lmao.

The Rainbow Live 10th anniversary event is happening RIGHT NOW and lots of Rainbow Live VAs and Staff have been posting about it. This is kind of unrelated to KinPri but who knows?

Last year Hishida marked March 25th as Pretty Rhythm day and promised some sort of campaign to raise money for new Pretty Rhythm content. He had no more details than more content and money however.

King of Prism was on NHK World Japan in a segment with Idolish7 (A still VERY active male idol franchise) in January, the first time Hishida and KinPri has been on the segment in years.

This is only tangentially related but I feel like it should be mentioned in the fact section, last summer the official King of Prism account searched for people to help with One Piece cheer screenings which is wild to me, but apparently because of the help the cheer screenings themselves did pretty well.

Also related to that PolPri (same production company) has been doing really well and itself has plenty of cheer screenings. There's rumors that Tatsunoko has their hands full with more PolPri and the CG for the IRIS movie, but I mean no one really knows about their inner workings lol. Regardless they DIDN'T take the new season of the Pretty Series anime AiPri, leaving them open for new projects.

Ok now that we have all the facts (that I know of lol) what do we think the announcement is?

Things the announcement could be in order of how likely they are in my opinion, and why:

Merch Kuji (if you don't know what a Kuji is (I didn't until recently) it's a merch lottery where you put in some money and are guaranteed to get a piece of merch but the character or design is random. Most modern anime merch is like this ;-;) Let's be honest, KinPri was dead for almost the entire second half of 2023. But between May and September I can count 6 different King of Prism merch lotteries (LOL?). There's also a Kuji running right now that's astrology themed that will be over by the time of the announcement. Leading me to believe that it would be the perfect time for them to open a MEGA merch lottery, one fitting of such a big announcement. Of course I would want more than this lol, but I think given the current precedent the franchise has given us this is the most likely outcome.

Regular around the country screenings. (the country is Japan btw sorry fellow Americans) I'm on the fence on whether or not this will be the announcement because why would they announce more screenings at a screening? But ever since Hiro's birthday in October the amount of King of Prism cheer screenings have shot up dramatically and they don't seem to be stopping. It would be a pretty huge announcement for them to say that the screenings are continuing at this accelerated pace for the time being. If this is the case I would also assume something bigger is coming over the summer lol because they wouldn't just increase the amount of screenings for no reason.

Ok now we get to the fun stuff

3. New Music!! I'm trying to keep my expectations low, but it feels slightly strange that the only staff talking about this are composers and choreographers, no? And the way they're wording the announcement makes me think it's supposed to be BIGGER than the two options above because those are the two things we already have, leading me here to the next step. With Prism Rush we were getting regular singles, and I think it's about time we get a new Septentrion song!!!!

4. Something like the Pretty Series VLives. The VLive format seems to be doing really well for PriChan, and King of Prism has dabbled in the format before, something more but not a ton of work would be something akin to the PriChan highschool live. where there's a shallow story but it can be rebroadcast over and over (at future cheer screenings?). Bonus that the PriChan one was crowdfunded, and there's nothing stopping them from attempting that again (though idk if they would if whatever is happening on 3/25 is also crowdfunded.) I think if we're getting any new content content this is the most likely because of it's cost to profit ratio AND the uptick of them being made for the Pretty Series, but of course I can dream about getting more, as in:

5. PRISM RUSH 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok I cannot lie, I really want this one just because I want to play a mobile rhythm game and SIF2 is approaching end of service lmao. But it feels kinda weird that the Prism Rush 1 setting materials came out so late, right??? Plus maybe all the composters retweeting were hinting at new music, and what needs a bunch of new music if not a rhythm game! SynSophia has finally gotten out or announced all their backlogged projects (Idol Land though they didn't do much of that one, Fashion Dreamer, and TWO AiPri arcade games) leaving their dev team open to work on a brand new game. Yeah??? :) Plus people complained that most of the Prism Rush story wasn't in the setting materials, maybe this is their chance to re-release the event stories :) (coping!)

6. Another Super Live! Every time I watch one of the Pretty Series Lives where they bring back the VAs from now dead franchises (rip PriMagi) I wonder why they stopped doing these for King of Prism (other than like the pandemic). There's still plenty of Prism Rush songs that have never been done live, plus everyone wants to hear the SSS songs again. And I mean they're getting Junta for the announcement, it would make sense for Shin to announce something like this! I don't think this is very likely, rather it would come if there was new media with new music that was doing really well, but it is something I'd enjoy a lot.

6. A NEW ANIME!!!!!!!!! Ok we save this one for the bottom because it's the least likely, especially for an 8 year old anime and one that hasn't had a new movie in 4 years. But I mean, this is what we all want right? Director Hishida, save us all 🙏

I considered taking this entire post and making it a Youtube video lmfao but I don't think I'd get an audience who wants to listen to me ramble about King of Prism news. But uhh what do you think, I'm so so so so so so so so so so so excited! aaaaaaaaa

note: first part of the nwjns series!! 😭 also idk why but I've been writing a lot of angst, AND I'M ENJOYING IT 😟

One year has been since I met Ni-ki. We met at an arcade when he saw me playing one of the games he wanted but ended up hanging out with me after watching me play a round, and became friends.

He was really nice and kind, he teased me too. He told me he was an idol and that he couldn't be seen outside with me or with anyone, I understood it because after all that's how idol life works.

We hung out a lot, even with his packed schedule. He texted me a lot too and we video called each other sometimes, it was all good.

Until I started to feel something else apart from friendship

Suddenly I started to see Ni-ki in a different way, our hang outs didn't feel as fun outers anymore but as maybe.. dates?

Maybe I started to like Ni-ki when he grabbed my hand to lead me further into the crowd, or when he introduced his band mates to me one night I came over to the dorms. Or maybe when he told me he would like to be more than friends... No, I already liked him when he said that.

I knew that we couldn't date due to his dating ban, and I understood it.

I didn't care about it a lot, because everything was okay while I was with him. That was until he wasn't with me anymore.

It was when their world tour started, and our downfall started too.

Ni-ki told me about how excited he was about going around the world and performing in front of so many people. But he never talked about me, about us and what could happen to our bonds when those times arrived.

The truth was that, we never went official. Because we couldn't but also because he never asked me out, neither did I.

I decided to brush off all those thoughts, I had the idea that maybe I should wait for him and then we could date or talk more about us. I was a patient person anyways.

The tour started, Ni-ki texted me once or twice, in the morning and before going to sleep. We couldn't have long conversations due to the time difference and his schedule, and I understood. I was grateful that he could at least send me a text, remember me.

That was until the second week of him on tour that he stopped sending texts, he stopped sending photos. I tried to text him, but he never answered. Ni-ki posted on socials and looked happy while on tour, was I selfish for wanting his attention when he was busy? I knew how busy his life was, and I still wanted his attention.

I stopped texting too, and one month passed. Then two. Then his arrival to Korea had to be soon, according to the fan accounts. Because he would never tell me when he would arrive here or at least say hello, no, he didn't do it anymore.

When he was supposed to arrive I texted him, a simple "Did you arrive?" And I waited for an answer. I didn't get one. Not even after 6 hours after having sent that text.

I was tired of waiting and decided to visit the dorms, I deserved some explanation of what happened right? He disappeared without saying anything.

And that's what I did, I went to the dorms and knocked on the door. I waited for a while outside and Jake opened the door, he smiled at me and let me in, telling me that Ni-ki was in his room. I entered the house and went directly to where Jake told me Ni-ki was. I saw him on his phone. Funny.

Funny how he'd be on his phone but not answering my texts, how at least he was supposed to.

"What are you doing here?"

"Not even a hello?"

"Hello"

"Why didn't you text me? I was worried and you left me hanging for more than two months, did I ever cross your mind?"

"I was just busy, nothing else"

"Oh yeah so busy that you're on your phone now and are ignoring the hundred texts I sent you, right?"

"Stop overreacting, it's not a big deal... Gosh"

"Oh well, if it's not a big deal then I'm leaving"

I didn't know what had gone through him, to make him have such immature attitude...

And like that, I didn't talk to him since that day, neither did he.

I went out and didn't come back, he was acting like a child. He didn't care about me, or us.

After that I didn't call, I didn't text.

He didn't reach to me, until Sunoo did.

He told me he wanted to meet up at a park near their dorms and we did. I waited for him at the park but Sunoo never appeared, Ni-ki did. He stood after me, looking at me. I was confused, why was he here?

"What are you doing here?"

"We should.. talk"

"about what?"

"Us"

We spent the afternoon talking about what had happened and he told me he wanted a second chance, I didn't know back then but I gave him the chance to try again.

We came back to our usual times, hanging out, playing, etc. We never talked about our feelings but it didn't matter. Until one day the curiosity was eating me up, so I asked him.

"What are we?"

"I don't know... Friends?"

"Oh... Okay"

As simple as that, was his answer. So he didn't feel anything for me, after saying he did. Should I be mad? Maybe his feelings changed?

Another comeback came, and again, the same story repeated. Ni-ki texted me for a week but stopped, it was his busy schedule again. And I was tired of it already, I understood that being an idol was his dream and job but... What about me?

When I brought it up again, he brushed it off. Just like he did three months ago.

"You always do this!" "You always overreact and don't care about me!" Ni-ki snapped out at me.

"What?! I don't care about you?! If I didn't care about you or us, I wouldn't have given you that second chance

You know what, Ni-ki? Let's leave it here. I don't want this to happen again."

"What?! You can't leave me like that!"

"Maybe I wouldn't be doing this is if you at least cared more about me or us!"

"You know how busy my life is!"

"I know but I'm tired of knowing and understanding! Have you ever thought about how I might feel?"

silence...

"That's enough for me, good luck. I should've known this wouldn't work. Not even with your schedule or your childish attitudes. I don't wanna be the one to get hurt by this"

Maybe neither of us was ready for a relationship, but it still hurt how he wouldn't care about us. And how he wouldn't accept that he was the one in fault.

Was it the wrong time or person?

Maybe both.

You don't need to justify yourself to anyone and you have the right to think, to feel and have your own opinions about someone and personally I think, I feel and I have my own opinions about Jess, firstly her interview on YouTube about her professional experiences she expresses herself in an unclear manner and she stutters as if she is inventing a life for herself and secondly her relationship with Jamie she uses him as a trophy even I have thought about it before you created your blog.

Jess is able to fake a pregnancy and tell him she had a miscarriage, to hide from him that she lied to him about her pregnancy and I wonder if she ever did and that's why Jamie stays with her because he feels guilty about the fact that him and Jess lost their baby.

People especially Jamie need to understand that Jess is only interested in herself, it shows in every photo and video she takes with Jamie, she does everything to draw attention to herself and her smiles are so fake and honestly Ruby was more natural and had a bit more of a sincere smile when she was date with Jamie.

I think Jamie is happier and more liberated, when he goes to conventions alone that when he goes with Jess.

I'm aware that I'm allowed to have my opinion and for the most part I am fine with people being stupid, insulting, or anything else. What I'm not fine with is objectively false statements about my stance on things based on certain people (Malarkey and her weird following) twisting what I say out of context to make facts.

Example: Malarkey posting that my blog has become a Jamie hate blog (with no context whatsoever to why that was said or even being the truth). My blog at no point hated Jamie for anything. There was a discussion on him wearing a certain shirt and why I and other people didn't like it. There was no point that I or anyone else said he should be hated for it, and I said more than once that I didn't hate him and that I just thought it was a mistake on his part.

This extends to the Twitter account who used my blog to confirm Jess was pregnant (even though the statement they used directly said she wasn't pregnant). I don't know if these people do it on purpose to get me harassed, if they are mentally challenged, or they just can't read but it's extremely annoying. I can take the insults but the spread of false information on purpose because they have no way to rebuke what I say other than to make shit up is tiring.

Though Ruby had her artificial elements (when it came to her face) she certainly did look better than Jess. Jamie also always looked far more comfortable with her and most of the photos with them they look relaxed, engaged with each other and present in the moment. Hate or like Ruby (not here to defend her and at this point I'm fairly neutral on her considering the alternative is Jess), I think it was much more obvious that Jamie had feelings for her than he ever had for Jess.

These people defending Jess, covering for her, sending hate to people about her, making up lies on her behalf, and everything else are deranged. I've never seen any group of people reach so hard to try to make a failing relationship work. I don't know why it isn't obvious to any of these people that something is going on between them (especially after that last video) and it's not good. If it really isn't, if they truly believe Jess and Jamie are fine right now it's going to be one hell of a slap in the face when the break up becomes public and official.

I am gonna be petty so bear with it

This is a rant over the fact that we didn't get Longtae aka the best character in ATOTS back in the Our Skyy2 episodes

So Longtae was one of my favourite characters in ATOTS together with Tian and not just because he was played by Khaotung, it was actually Longtae the character tham made me fall in love with Khao and his acting, and let me tell you I was devastated weeks ago when the shooting started and ON photos were leeked and the official account posted photos of the side characters and no photo of Khao got out that I knew he wasn't gonna be there, and now that the episodes are all out I think I have an inkling of the reason

It was not because Khao didn't want to resume the role, in fact the boy loves ATOTS and Longtae he even said in an interview for the press of Our Skyy2 were they asked wich other characters he would have loved to play other than Ayan and he said PhuTian and Longtae, so that was not it, it wasn't even because actors that played a main role in another Our Skyy2 episode couldn't resume the role of side characters in another, as we can see with dr.Jimmy he played as Puen in VV and as Wai in BBS×ATOTS so not that either, the only reason I could accept could be the conflicting schedule but from what I remembered Khao shot the Eclipse episodes way before the rest started so he had no other show at that time and he didn't have that many things to attend but I could be wrong cuz he should have been shooting in Chiang Mai and his schedule didn't allow him to leave for too much still I think if they wanted him there they could have aaranged the schedule WAY PRIOR to starting shooting so this leaves me to my theory:

Longtae wasn't included in the crossover because he would have made Prans role useless

Let me elaborate, so Pran arrives at the village and his role is badically Tians companion for the most part of the episodes, then Pat arrives and they set themselves to try and pacify the resident couple cuz they need the signature for the play and they care for the relationship of a fellow queer couple, but even after that Pran spends most of his time with Tian, so if we went with the og show the ones that would help PhuTian would have been Mo Nam and Longtae but consodering Nammon left gmmtv after ATOTS the doctor couldn't be there so I think that this made Aof think of an alternative to execute his vision and this brought us to PP going to the mountines but wait! how can Pran play a role as well if we have resident best boy and best advisor Longtae there? simple we cut him off too! AND WE DON'T EVEN MENTION HIM even tho he was Tians best friend and spiritual brother on the mountine, and he would have done a much better job in helping the resident couple and he and Tian would have never got lost! remember this kid was able to get out of the forest at night and with mafia men chasing him! He would have stolen the show with his starry eyes pretty bangs and adorable personality, and if Pat had a crush on Phupa Pran would SO have a crush on Longtae!(am I fueling my NanonKhao ghostship? probably)

So this is my theory for why my baby wasn't included, I know a lot of people that watched the special didn't care much about Longtae being there but I cannot help it, he and Tian were my ultimate favourite characters there amd the bond they shared was more important to me than even the romance! there was just something special about them and I loved it so much and I will never forget how it was denied to me and all the people that wanted Longtaw back, and I will also never forget that he wasn't even mentioned once! In not a single monet during the full 4 episodes!

I wholeheartedly agree that this is completely PR, and the pap walk at Central Park is what really sealed the deal for me. There are a few things about it that are just OFF about the walk itself, from the timing of those photos, their body language, them wearing masks/sunglasses to the photographer being the SAME exact photographer from the pap walks with Lily. So here are some of my thoughts:

First off, the timing. The timing of everything is just so blatantly PR that I'm surprised more people aren't seeing it. Chris gets named SMA, a "source" from People says they're official and "serious" and have been together for a year, pap photos appear of them walking together at the park, and the new season of her Netflix show comes out on the same day, ALL within a week. Already, too many things are happening too close together for this to be natural, especially seeing that we haven't heard a peep about them leading up to this (other than him liking her IG posts related to her projects). The timing of how everything is rolling out is definitely screaming PR.

Second, the pap walk itself. I'm so grateful to whoever the person was that uploaded the video (I saw on twitter it was a woman who wanted to capture the path/view of central park that also just so happened to capture them stunting along with it, but really who knows), because it's extremely revealing to me. If it's true that these two have been together for a year, and they're supposed to be "serious" and in love etc etc, they certainly don't look like a couple that fits that description. Now, if they ARE truly together, multiple factors can certainly be at play. Even if they are actually together, they could absolutely still be doing a planned pap walk; celebrities do it all the time! But it's certainly not Chris' style, especially for the women he's in a genuine, private relationship with (he certainly didn't do this type of stuff with Jenny, who I do believe he was really with). It could also be the case that, if they're actually together, they were just nervous about being recognized out in public, and thus wore the masks AND shades for good measure. But even taking ALL of this into account, I'm still not buying it. Chris has said many times in the past that he's a hopeless romantic and an extremely touchy-feely person. He loves being physically affectionate with his partners (these are words I recall him saying in a past interview, maybe not verbatim, but alas). So keeping that in mind, what we saw in the video was the exact opposite of that. They were walking quite fast, as if they wanted to get things over with quickly (and on that, isn't a leisurely, romantic stroll in the park while you're holding your partner's hand, talking and enjoying their company supposed to be the point of a nice walk in the park? Like, what are they in such a rush for? I mean, unless they're exercising and trying to get their heart up, which I highly doubt lol), their body language was rigid and awkward, Chris was hunched over almost as if he was trying to make himself smaller and unassuming to those around him... It all just seems so forced. Like, there are so many other places you can go to that aren't so public if you're that worried about being spotted. So I wonder why they chose to go to Central Park in particular? Oh, because it's for PR.

Third, the masks and the sunglasses. I get that we're still in a pandemic, so masking up in public is never a bad thing in my opinion, but they just looked so completely out of place. If they actually wanted to look less assuming, they failed miserably because they stuck out like a sore thumb. Furthermore, them wearing masks is the first thing that REALLY stuck out to me when I saw the pap photos that immediately screamed PR. Sidenote, but I listen to this really good celebrity blind item/gossip podcast where I learned about this exact thing. The hosts talk to people within the industry and expose a bunch of PR tactics (which lemme tell you, Chris and Alba are checking off like it's goddamn PR bingo), and one point they made about paparazzi photos is super relevant here. So according to them, if you see a celebrity being papped and they're wearing a mask, it's without a doubt, 100% PR and planned. The reason being, before the pandemic, for the most part, if a celebrity was papped, they obviously wouldn't have been wearing a mask, so their identities were much more easily verifiable and could thus be sold off. It is true that some celebrities just so happen to come across paparazzi completely unplanned while they're out and about (especially in cities like New York and LA), and in those instances they get their pictures taken because 'Oooh look! Celebrity is out doing normal things!'. However, once the pandemic hit and celebrities started masking up out in public, it became practically impossible for a paparazzo, who say, just so happened to spot a man who looks EXACTLY like [insert celeb here], and verify said celeb's identity. Even if the paparazzo felt, without a shadow of a doubt, that the celebrity they encountered was indeed that celebrity, they still wouldn't be able to sell those photos anywhere without 100% proof that the celebrity in question was ACTUALLY them, and not just someone who happened to look like them (because then the photos would be worthless in value). And THAT, kids, is how you know that virtually ALL pap photos where the celebrity is wearing a mask is either called in by the celebrity themself OR their PR team/management. Because then and only then do they have concrete proof and verification from the celebrity/pr team that yes, [insert celebrity here] will be walking around in Central Park at this exact time and at this exact place, so be there. It's 100% planned.

And that is the end of my ramblings (for now!). This ended up being EXTREMELY longer than I thought it would be, but I just had to get all of my thoughts out concerning this!!! If you got through this, thanks so much for being an ear! I definitely have a million more thoughts on why this entire situation is completely sus, but I just wanted to let you know that you're 100% valid and not crazy (like I've seen some people say to those who are questioning this whole thing).

it's so funny how when jikook have a cute moment jkkers will be like "they're open and proud, they don't care if everyone knows they're boyfriends". then when jimin and jungkook don't interact during a photoshoot or jungkook doesn't participate in jimin's letter performance they're like "the company is forcing them apart, bighit is pushing taekook as the official ship". they truly are exactly the same as taekookers at this point it's so sad. mocking tkkers for years and then resorting to the exact same conspiracy theories to explain why jikook aren't interacting much anymore

Shippers are shippers. Even the ones who call themselves "supporters" ARE SHIPPERS. I never cared calling myself a shipper because there's nothing wrong with that. "Supporters" are just, if not MORE deranged than shippers, actually. Jikookers and taekookers are both the same because they're all shippers. As I've said, I've been in the one direction fandom and jikookers have started to sound like larries too.

Taekook posting each other on instagram was "work", instagram were "professional" social media accounts, Jungkook posting photos with Taehyung there didn't matter because it was only social media. Jimin and Jungkook literally never interacted with each other publicly on instagram and jikookers were all about how jikook didn't need to be online because they were together 247 physically and social media is performative and fake. Now, weverse (a social media platform) is the place for love confessions.

They're literally changing the narratives and excuses as they go, too. They've even started contradicting the things Jimin and Jungkook themselves say and calling them liars, exactly the thing they used to hate about taekookers. Spent years telling everyone to watch real content and real interactions but now they say the real content is a lie lmao. At least we're all on the same page and agree that Jimin and Jungkook do not see each other. Even the most delusional jikookers, I know that thought it's itching in the back of their minds. Because there have been signs.

The selective blindness too is annoying. No, Jungkook doesn't mention hanging out with Taehyung. But he doesn't mention hanging out with Jimin either, so what's the difference? Him not mentioning his dates with Taehyung and wooga doesn't mean they didn't happen or that he's embarrassed of it.

I've also been noticing a certain discourse and speech pattern arising... that Jungkook is somehow rebelling against the company by doing his lives. So Jungkook does whatever he wants and doesn't care about the consequences and goes against the company all the time. But then he also is apparently being told by the company to not interact with Jimin and he's abiding by the rules? So which is it..? That's yet another narrative that jikookers have taken from taekookers word for word lmao. Now, Jungkook happens to be a hero and the prince charming saving Jimin when he had 10 years to do all that. Ten years in which Jimin literally hard carried the "ship" and never for one second was ashamed of his friendship with Jungkook or being himself; but now after two wlives Jungkook is the brave one fighting for their relationship lmfao. You can't make this up.

Part of me is petty and wants Jimin to just post on instagram for Jungkook's debut single and call it a day (which, if we're correct about Jimin distancing himself from JK, that's what's going to happen).

Another part of me is petty in a different way and wants Jimin to show up at Jungkook's schedules or filmings or something because people are getting wayyyy too comfortable spreading the conspiracy theory that hybe was prohibiting Jungkook from being there or something and that's why he can only do lives from his home and watch Jimin on YouTube and that's his way of fighting the system. So that petty side of me wants Jimin to show up and just Be Jimin the way he's been all these years because that would set the story straight and tell it exactly how it is: that JK just didn't care to be physically there or be involved; nobody ever told him he couldn't go near Jimin or interact with him.

The network shared the news in the comments of a Facebook post on April 24, which featured a photo of Kristoffer portraying police detective Travis Burke. When a follower wrote how they didn't want the series to be left on a "cliffhanger," the Hallmark Movies and Mysteries' official account replied back with a grim update on the future of Mystery 101.

"We loved making Mystery 101 and we’re so glad you enjoyed sleuthing along with us," read the response. "We want to let you know that our talented sleuths have solved the last mystery and are off the case. In the coming weeks and months there are exciting new mysteries on the way that we know you'll love!"

When fans learned the fate of the Mystery 101 series, it left many upset because the last film, Deadly History, ended in 2021 without a resolution. As a result, they took to the comments section lamenting how sad they were about it not coming back.

"I can't believe this show was canceled. It was so good. Might have to stop watching the channel," one person wrote on Facebook. "Cannot believe you have canceled one of the best!!! You leave us hanging!! Not right!! 😡😡😡," another added. "How can they cancel one of the most popular series? 💔," a different follower said.

As fans of Mystery 101 know, the last movie ended with a time jump almost a year into the future. Jill's character Amy tells Travis that she loved him earlier on, but the final moments see him being surprised by her presence at a crime scene. He then learns the victim is Amy'a fiancé, leaving everyone to wonder what happens next.

In case folks were still holding on to hope that the network would backtrack on the decision, it doesn't sound like this is the case. Speaking with The U.S. Sun, Hallmark Media's President and CEO Wonya Lucas shared why the franchise was axed.

"Well, we hadn’t done it in a long, long time, right? And we just brought the mysteries back," she told the outlet. "We’re just looking at mysteries a little differently now. We’ve created some new mysteries, in addition to some that we’ve had in the past. So, it’s just an evolution of our mysteries. We’re just doing a lot of new things."

Good point, he never shared a shred of himself during his time in London, neither private stuff from when he hung out with his classmates, nor the official public graduation picture, he kept all of that away from the public eye and his account, but for his time with Lauren now, he just had to make a post referencing it. Just to tell the difference for people who want to keep insisting he keeps her private, he kept nothing private with her, even if he kept her out of the pictures for once, he kept his London friends private and what he did there, but the world can know what he is up to when he decides to hang out with Lauren Searle again, posting her or not, he still made sure he gave a peak into their private time together.

Exactly! And it's annoying.. Why didn't he share at least a couple of photos with his London friends, given that he deletes posts anyway
