On June 23rd 1952  Salvador Dali’s painting “Christ of St John of the Cross” went on display in Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery.
There was a public outcry when Dr Tom Honeyman, the then director of Glasgow’s museums and art galleries, spent the city’s entire annual purchasing budget of £8,200, Dali  had painted it the year before and the catalogue price was £12,000 so he got it on the cheap. It is one of the jewels of the city’s art collection, and indeed the whole of Scotland and has proven commercially remunerative, with displays and reproduction fees covering the original cost several times over. I looked around online to get an up to date value on it and the nearest date was 2009 when an estimated value of more than £60 million was quoted!!
If you haven’t seen it go do so and think of how much it is worth, a shrewd purchase indeed. Christ of St John of The Cross is to leave Glasgow on loan later this year, marking the fourth time the painting has left the city since 2010.
The five-month loan, from November to the end of April 2024, will see Dalí's masterpiece ‘return home’ to The Dalí Theatre and Museum in Dalí’s home town of Figueres, in Catalonia, Spain. It is the first time the painting will displayed in Dalí’s home town in over seven decades since 1952, when it was purchased by the City of Glasgow for the sum of £8,200. The painting was due to go to Catalonia in 2020 but covid put paid to that

On November 23rd, 2023, a video titled “ Ned’s Cozy Fireplace - 10 Hours of Relaxing Twenty One Pilots Mixes “ was uploaded to the Twenty One Pilots YouTube channel. I need to talk about it.
This post will be disorganized— as there can’t be much structure to an observation of something non-linear— though points will be ordered from most to least relevant.
OVERVIEW
[ Link to Ned’s Cozy Fireplace ]
For most of the 10 hours, Ned is prominently displayed in his little cave from the Chlorine MV. References to past MVs/items ( the Funko pop is canon…. ) are displayed throughout. The monitor on the far right of the screen will infrequently play videos related to whatever song is currently playing.
TIMESTAMPS & RELEASE DATES
At several points during the video, Ned will wake up, and/or get up and walk away. One of these timestamps stands out: 5:17:00.
At the five hours and seventeen minutes mark, the monitor in the room turns on, and Tyler can be seen in his studio. Ned also opens his eyes.
As others before me have pointed out, 5:17:00 can be read like a date; 5/17, or May 17th. May 17th, 2015 was the release date of Blurryface, making May 17th, 2024 it’s 9th anniversary. Due to the symbolism of the number 9, of Blurryface, and of cycles/“the cycle”, I believe that the next album will release on May 17th, 2024.
NED’S EYE
In the reflection of Ned’s eye, a reflection can be seen:
Tumblr media
It appears to be black, white, and blue. None of the colors present in his eye could be reflected from his environment— Everything has undertones of red and purple due to the fireplace, and Chlorine is teal, not defeat-core blue.
The image, I believe, is meant to showcase the blue door. It appears to be opening up from the ground, similar to the way it did during the Icy Tour.
Tumblr media
The concept also reflects the Blurryface eye shutting / Trench eye opening teaser.
ANAGRAM
Also discovered by others before me, Ned’s Cozy Fireplace may be an anagram for something bigger, similar to SCALED AND ICY = CLANCY IS DEAD. Several keywords can be plucked out of NEDS COZY FIREPLACE, and one of the strings that can be formed is:
CLANCY SEIZED OR FPE
This may represent an internal question asked by the Banditos, if FPE is taken as Few, Proud, Emotional. They haven’t seen Tyler or the Torchbearer in years, so they’d be unaware of any psychokinetic powers. CLANCY SEIZED OR FPE could essentially be the question of “ How did Clancy destroy Dema? Was he seized by Blurryface, or is he free? Is it one or the other, or is it both?“
‘ JUST LIKE KEONS SED ‘
On the same note as the anagram, a note can be found on screen. It reads:
Tumblr media
“ NED, SAW CLANCY N TORCH BERER JUS LIKE KEONS SED. HOPE YOU AR WELL. NED. “
This could be referencing the actual bishop Keons, if he were a secret Bandito-ally ( the term ‘ Rebel Red ‘ from Chlorine may allude to that ), or it could reference The Outside’s MV. The significance of either option has yet to be truly seen.
CONCLUSIONS
I think that Ned’s Cozy Fireplace holds answers to certain questions, but also poses certian questions that will be answered with later releases. I believe that new-content releases will begin in January, and constantly lead up towards a May release date.

Do you know of any Euro musical productions besides Rebecca going on in Jan-March 2023?
I'm trying to plan a vacation lol, anywhere in Europe would go
TIA!
Alright this isn't going to be a full list because I'm sure I can't find them all but I've done my best. I've decided to make this a list of all musicals in Europe for all of 2023, so that everyone might find this useful (that's code for I love making lists and got carried away).
Musicals in Europe in 2023
2022.12.10 Listed alphabetically by country and then by opening date. Countries listed below are Austria, England, France, Germany, Italy, The Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Switzerland. Click 'keep reading' to see the list.
Edit 2022.12.11: added some more musical in Austria, The Netherlands and Russia. Sources to websites where I found this information and where you can book tickets are now at the bottom of the list. Sorry they weren’t added originally, I made the original list at 1am.
Edit 2022.12.11: added performances at the open-air theatre in Tecklenburg, Germany.
Edit: 2022.12.12 added more shows for Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and France.
Edit: 2022.12.15 i can’t keep up with all the asks telling me to add things to the list. please see this tag (european musicals in 2023) to see asks telling me about more shows, but i don’t have the time to keep sourcing and adding them to this list anymore.

WILL WE EVER COLONIZE OTHER PLANETS??
Blog#247
Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022
Welcome back,
While humans have long thought of gods living in the sky, the idea of space travel or humans living in space dates to at least 1610 after the invention of the telescope when German astronomer Johannes Kepler wrote to Italian astronomer Galileo: “Let us create vessels and sails adjusted to the heavenly ether, and there will be plenty of people unafraid of the empty wastes. In the meantime, we shall prepare, for the brave sky-travellers, maps of the celestial bodies.”
Tumblr media
In popular culture, space travel dates back to at least the mid-1600s when Cyrano de Bergerac first wrote of traveling to space in a rocket. Space fantasies flourished after Jules Verne’s “From Earth to the Moon” was published in 1865, and again when RKO Pictures released a film adaptation, A Trip to the Moon, in 1902. Dreams of space settlement hit a zenith in the 1950s with Walt Disney productions such as “Man and the Moon,” and science fiction novels including Ray Bradbury’s The Martian Chronicles (1950).
Tumblr media
Fueling popular imagination at the time was the American space race with Russia, amid which NASA was formed in the United States on July 29, 1958, when President Eisenhower signed the National Aeronautics and Space Act into law. After the Russians put the first person, Yuri Gagarin, in space on Apr. 12, 1961, NASA put the first people, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, on the Moon in July 1969. What was science fiction began to look more like possibility.
Tumblr media
Over the next six decades, NASA would launch space stations, land rovers on Mars, and orbit Pluto and Jupiter, among other accomplishments. NASA’s ongoing Artemis program, launched by President Trump in 2017, intends to return humans to the Moon, landing the first woman on the lunar surface, by 2024.
As of June 17, 2021, three countries had space programs with human space flight capabilities: China, Russia, and the United States. India’s planned human space flights have been delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, but they may launch in 2023. However, NASA ended its space shuttle program in 2011 when the shuttle Atlantis landed at Kennedy Space Center in Florida on July 21.
Tumblr media
NASA astronauts going into space afterward rode along with Russians until 2020 when SpaceX took over and first launched NASA astronauts into space on Apr. 23, 2021. SpaceX is a commercial space travel business owned by Elon Musk that has ignited commercial space travel enthusiasm and the idea of “space tourism.” Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic and Jeff Bezo’s Blue Origin have generated similar excitement.
Tumblr media
Richard Branson launched himself, two pilots, and three mission specialists into space [as defined by the United States] from New Mexico for a 90-minute flight on the Virgin Galactic Unity 22 mission on July 11, 2021. The flight marked the first time that passengers, rather than astronauts, went into space.

The Wheel of the Year
[plain text: The Wheel of the Year]
The Wheel of the Year was created by Gerald Gardner, in part based off what was known about ancient Celtic festivals celebrating the year passing, and he named the festivals - some what were known as the names the Celts and Germanic people used for them, some he invented himself. As such, it is a big part of Wicca, but many other witches use it throughout the year (and there are plenty who don't!). The dates listed below (with Gardner's names for the festivals) are for the Northern hemisphere, as the seasons pass oppositely in the Southern hemisphere, they are usually celebrated the other way around.
Samhain (31st October/1st November)
Yule (20-23rd December)(date of the winter solstice varies)
Imbolc/Candlemas (1st February)
Ostara (21st March)(spring equinox)
Beltane (1st May)
Litha (21st June) (summer solstice/midsummer)
Lughnasadh/Lammas (1st August)
Mabon (21st September)(autumnal equinox)
notes: Lughnasadh and Lammas are two separate festivals (historically) that happen on the same date; despite this, many people use the names interchangeably though they are not the same thing. The names Litha, Ostara, and Mabon have no properly verifiable historical basis and most likely have been made up by Gardner.
The two "main" holidays are considered to be Samhain and Beltane, often considered to be the two times when the veil between worlds is at it's thinnest.
Samhain can be linked to Halloween/All Hallows Eve (31st October) and All Saints Day (1st November) as well as Dia de los Muertes (1st/2nd November), reflecting how many cultures viewed it as a time with more spirits/saints/ghosts around. For many, Samhain is considered the "Witches New Year" and is the start of the Wheel of the Year. It marks the beginning of the darker half of the year, as shown in many stories surrounding the Wheel of the Year such as the Goddess and the Green Man, the Oak King and Holly King, and the cycle between the Wiccan Horned God and Triple Goddess.
Beltane happens at the opposite side of the year, and is also called May Day, traditions such as maypole dancing are commonly done at this time of year. It is a spring festival, the beginning of the lighter half of the year, and often associated with fertility and creativity.
Imbolc/Candlemas, also known as St Brighid's Day, is the midpoint between Samhain and Beltane, with Lughnasadh and Lammas being the midpoint between Beltane and Samhain. Imbolc is often associated with the saint Brighid, and happens at the same time as the Christian event Candlemas, although some people call Imbolc Candlemas without following the Christian traditions associated with the holiday. Lughnasadh was originally a festival associated with the Irish sun god, Lugh, and Lammas is originally a Christian holiday also referred to as "loaf mass day", which is where the tradition of baking bread on the 1st August comes from.
The solstices and equinoxes are minor holidays, with the equinoxes being the most minor. Yule is perhaps the most well known of these minor holidays, as Christmas is often referred to as Yuletide, due to the overlap in the Germanic regions and parts of Scandinavia where Yule was most commonly celebrated. Yule is the winter solstice - the time where the days are the shortest, and Litha (aka Midsummer) is the summer solstice - the time when the days are the longest. Ostara and Mabon were less commonly celebrated, hence the need for Gardner to come up with names for these holidays.
This concludes my (not so brief anymore) overview of the Wheel of the Year, my next long written post will likely be my personal usage of the Wheel of the Year and the issues with some of Gardner's names for the holiday (we do not have time to get into the issues with Gardner in general and plenty of people have summed it up a lot better than I can)

Thunder roared across the battlefield as neither light nor dark gave any quarter. Powers flew, shadows crackled, until two hours passed...
E͢͢N͠Ǫ̸U̷͜GH̴̷͟!҉̷ I̢͡'Ḿ ͞͝҉ÈN̵D͢͠I҉͜NG͜ ̸T̴͢HIS҉ ͏N͏O͏͠W̴̕!̀
The Dark Lord had grown impatient, or... No, that wasn’t quite the case. She was running out of time. The android that stood defiant in the center of what was once a magnificent city had found an insecurity in Fantasia’s program! The entire battle had merely been staged as an opportunity for her to look for it.
A gigantic fist slowly descended on the city’s center, intent on crushing Ofiuco with a single blow. Flames danced around the hand as if it were a meteor impact, but the moment it entered striking distance it was caught by a barrier that creaked and cracked as it struggled to hold the fist back.
WÓ͢U̶̴͘L̷̢D̵̷ ̴͢͝Y̷̛̛O̧̡Ú ́DI̶IĮI͟I̵I̢E!͘?̸͘
But the very moment the barrier shattered, both the Dark Lord and her minions suddenly froze in place, a glitching effect corroding their bodies. “Everything I know about hacking was programmed by the woman you’re pretending to be. The Fantasia coding was already in my memory for some reason... Was it because she was worried this would happen, or was it a test to help me search for my own ‘humanity’? At the end of the day I don’t know that, but... Using her likeness and attempting to sink the culmination of her heard work behind someone else’s programming? I won’t allow it.”
WHAT A SHOUNEN MANGA-ESQUE LINE, OFIUCO. I SEE YOU TAKE AFTER YOUR MOTHER.
One final line was spoken by Essair before the shadows of her body began to implode, pulling in all nearby Mist Reapers and grunts before ultimately exploding in a brilliant blue that painted itself across the ceiling of white to reconstruct the sky. As particles of gold rained down and the sky darkened to night, the outsiders would find the world rebuilding around them. Structures grew from the ground not unlike when the city was first erected the July before.
But Ofiuco remained silent as the hole opened up beneath her, before she was swallowed up. It was best to leave before the people remembered she was actually their enemy, after all.
And so several days passed without consequence. Daily life seemed to have returned to how it used to be, NPCs oblivious to anything having changed in the first place.
Except for one thing. A rumor buried deep in the internet.
> Hey, have you heard of the new VRMMORPG, Fantasia?
...But more on that later.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thus marks the end of THE FANTASIA WAR rerun!
Life has returned to what passes for normal and NPCs have no recollection of the event.
The prize for completing the raid section of the event is a small power or weapon unlock. You can claim this from the Galaxy blog starting on Monday, October 23rd and you'll have until 11:59:59PM EST on Monday, November 6th to claim them!
As we previously mentioned you can still write your raid section between now and the claim period's end date of November 6th, however this will not count as general event participation for ranking up if you didn't make an eligible event post before this conclusion was posted. Additionally, any characters accepted after this conclusion is posted will not be eligible because they were not in the group during the event period.
For quests taken from the quest board, you have until Monday, November 6th at 11:59:59PM  to complete and submit your quest threads to redeem the rewards. You cannot start any new quest threads as of the posting of this conclusion however.
If you enjoyed the Fantasia setting and the Fantasia forms, remember you can revisit them at any time in the Intraspace!

What is your true sign class?
Repost, don’t reblog! Thank you.
How to do this:
Refer to the following constellations and their astrology dates:
ARIES: March 21st - April 19th TAURUS: April 20th - May 20th GEMINI: May 21st - June 20th CANCER: June 21st - July 22nd LEO: July 23rd - August 22nd VIRGO: August 23d - September 22nd LIBRA: September 23rd - October 22nd SCORPIO: October 23rd - November 21st SAGITTARIUS: November 22nd - December 21st CAPRICORN: December 22nd - January 19th AQUARIUS: January 20th - February 18th PISCES: February 19th - March 20th
Click here, choose a sign class and take the test for your character.
Copy this entire post and paste it in a new post, and paste in the results you’ve got from the aforementioned test! (Remove the example results too, otherwise you’ll have a more than already cluttered post.)
NOTE: You may retake this test if you feel that your character doesn’t have the right sign class.
This dashboard game is primarily targeted for those who have a fanmade character based on Andrew Hussie’s webcomic Homestuck, but everyone is free to do this test for characters from other media!
---
EXAMPLE RESULT:
Tumblr media
You are an ARUS, SIGN OF THE WANDERER!
If your true sign is Arus, then you possess the unique combination of qualities held by all Rust Signs, Prospit Dreamers, and Breath-bound.
Sign Class: Rust
Adventure motivates Rust Signs more than anything else. They crave new experiences, the wilder and farther-from-home, the better. They are confident and energetic, ready to face the unknown. This dynamism makes them great leaders, but it can also make them foolhardy. Often, they don't posses the level of caution they should for someone so willing to jump into new things. Their willingness to trust can get them into trouble, but they are also incredibly resilient. Their ability to bounce back from trauma and injury leaves them as the toughest sign class on the spectrum. Rust Signs make great friends and traveling companions, but they also can be selfish and quick to anger. If what they deem to be an acceptable level of "excitement" isn't happening around them, they have a tendency to try to stir some up. They love the drama. They have incredibly high expectations for themselves and for romantic partners. If someone doesn't live up to these, they may deem them not worth their time. If they aren't careful, Rust Signs can end up in a cycle of excitement, followed by crushed expectations, followed by a quick recovery and new flush of excitement.
Lunar Sway: Prospit
Marked by a flexible optimism, the personalities of Prospit Dreamers are reactive and intuitive. They naturally exist in the present, rather than look to the future or obsess over the past. When making decisions Prospit Dreamers tend to rely on gut instinct and whatever emotions they are experiencing at the moment. This makes them quick to act and reliable in a crisis, but it also can make them capricious. They have trouble thinking things through, and their feelings toward specific situations and decisions can change from day to day. They solve problems with creativity rather than cold logic, often seeing multiple options with ease and clarity. Because they generally take things as they come, Prospit Dreamers are less rebellious than they are adaptable-instead of struggling against authority, they will find a way to coexist with it. Possibly because they are so instinctual and flexible, they like having a defined set of rules-a safety net for their passionate lives. Naturally trusting, they have trouble with deception or hiding their true selves, and will often worry about what others think of them. The self they project into the world is often not under their control.
Aspect: Breath
Those bound to the aspect of Breath are, above all, expansive. Flexible and driven, they leave an impact wherever they go. Like the breeze itself, they are able to sweep others up to carry along in their wake, but also like the breeze, they can be difficult to catch hold of or tie down. Although Breath-bound do make very good leaders, breath tends to be a very personal aspect. Often, heroism comes along as an offshoot of them pursuing their own personal stories. They lead by example, and will routinely be surprised that others look up to or feel inspired by them. They have a tendency to underestimate themselves, and not always out of poor self-esteem. They were just doing their own thing. At their best Breath-bound are motivated, adaptable, and forward thinking, but at their worst they can be volatile, avoidant, and gullible.

So like any time of year is a good time to acknowledge the festive vibe of another season. With that caveat im working on a mental inventory of how my festive seasons operate:
Oct 31 is the first new year of the year, witches new year aka "halloween"/samhain, halloween refers to the neoliberal secular festival (which of course i celebrate all month) and samhain refers to the witchy paganistic celebration on the 31st, which has different festivities. I spend more time on halloween publicly because thats my public craftwork, keeping the holiday accessible. After this spookyposting mostly ends until after valentine's.
November is the month of the dead. (Starting with Día de Muertos on the first and second and continuing with remembrance day on the 11th. Poppies are worn all month, día festivities are latinx invite only.)
Nov 5 is remember-remember, when we honor the works of alan moore and watch a movie he hates
Nov 11 is an antiwar day for mourning those who died as soldiers
Dec 1 is the start of the yule season; "christmas" warmup festivisties begin (yuletime music and decor intensify tenfold or more), Chanukah thoughts and greetings begin
Dec 19 is the solstice cusp; solstice festivities begin, lasting until solstice, which is second new year. This is a very craft-focused period of the yule season aka the witchiest part of december (essentially saturnalia, may be expanded to encompass the 17th-23rd date range)
Dec 24 is yule eve, festivities intensify, this is a mini feast day, seasonal movie marathoning begins formally
Dec 25 is Santa's day, when most gifts are exchanged or opened and the feast occurs. Egg dish for breakfast (eg benedict, rancheros) preferably with a mimosa, large roast with all the trimmings after dark. Movie marathon continues.
Dec 26-31 is boxing week, for decompressing from peak winter festy. Feast leftovers are eaten. Yule festivities end (music stops, no additional decor, movie marathon strictly kiboshed)
Jan 1 is gregorian new year, the third and least important new year; this holiday is about drinking champagne and personal reflection, typically a somber affair. The rest of the month is about lunar new year buildup.
Jan 25 is robbie burns day, which is about eating haggis and reading scottish poetry
End jan/early feb is lunar new year, 恭喜发财 🥰 very festive time leading into valentine's; both have lots of red. Lunar new year is about appreciating the zodiac animal for the year and staying cozy, and eating heavy savory foods and small sweets.
Feb 1 is the start of valentine's season; hearts, love, red&pink, romance and friendship, coziness and adventure, confectionery. Some overlap with lunar new year.
Feb 2 is groundhogs day, a celebration of the bill murray metaphysical romcom "groundhogs day"
Feb 14 is valentine's day, the festivities peak
Feb 15-march 13 is the pre-white day valentine's echo; this is a period of seasonal change induced mania, focus is on completion or progression of creative projects
March 14 is white day, aka second valentine's; this marks the official end of winter and start of spring aka easter season
March 17 is st patricks day which is about drinking like its summer already because the celts rock; you get to decide if youre cheating death by staying in and drinking or going out and interacting with traffic
March 18-May 1 is eastertime; its all about spring, renewal, fertility (bunnies, eggs, flowers/buds). The spring equinox happens march 19-20, a time for craftwork. Easter feast day is always on some random collectively-determined day during late eastertime, the culmination of a 4 day weekend of revelry.
April 1 is april fools, a silly day for jokes and japes. Minor holiday.
April 4 is fourfour, a day for dance music and honouring the cultural contributions of rich juzwiak. Minor holiday.
April 20 is 420, the stoners holiday. For blunts and nature walks. Flower and flowers. Gifting people baked goods or edibles is ideal. Flowercrowns all the way
April 22 is earth day 🌎
May 1 is mayday, this is a huge deal festival; should be spent in a crowd, similar vibe to 420 the more into cottagecore territory you get, very workers movement oriented in urban centers. This marks the dawn of summer festival season, which is about living that burner life; try to go to as many live music events and demos as possible.
May 4, may the fourth be with you; good time to marathon star wars/rewatch the ewok movies. Ds9 reruns for the nonobservant. Even more of a day to be stoned than normal.
May 5 is cinco de mayo, which is about softshell tacos and modellos and/or margaritas because mexico kicks ass. Summer festival atmosphere amps up threefold.
June 1 marks the start of pride. Rainbow multimonth festival for diversity, love, prosocial sexual freedom values. (This is coincident with native pride/history month.) Party hard! Pride lasts all summer although it is mainly over by the close of vancouver pride around August 6.
June 21 official start of summer, a day for outdoor drinking
July 1 cornball canadiana day, a day for drinking and listening to gord downie songs, bbq, crowds, smoking, fireworks. Red and white aesthetic. This marks the start of a 4 day drinking holiday, ideally spent mostly at the beach. GREAT day for native solidarity demo, extra magicbux there.
July 4 american independence day, for fireworks and bbq, listening to that one kelis album, drinking, watching vietnam movies, fear & loathing/where the buffalo roam/rum diary. irony to postirony vibes, red/white/blue aesthetic. Could watch the sandlot and listen to jonathan richman. This marks the start of True Summer.
July 5-August 31 is True Summer; this is a time for day drinking and midnight walking. Other festivals like yule and samhain are frequently referenced nostalgically. Local fairs and amusement parks should be visited. Canoeing. Foraging seafood. Grilling. Gazpacho.
Sept 1 marks the start of labor day week, the ambiguously long or short week that closes summer. Labor day is a bigtime last gasp for summer drinking and grilling as well as visiting the fair.
{Between labor day and the equinox is a liminal phase of autumn known as Virgo Season; its all about back to school vibes, fallcore mode begins. Long walks and foliage scrutiny, lots of divinations}
Sept 21-24 is fall equinox, the official start of fall. Fall season worship intensifies. Start anticipating the pumpkin spice now.
Oct 1 pumpkin spice season in full effect, it is now officially Halloween. Halloween lasts all month, culminating in samhain night. There is a midmonth feast honouring the first nations, falling on indigenous people's day.
