I don't have the clarity of rhetoric to explain how the Israeli Government's "humanitarian offer to let Gazans evacuate" is literally what the governments has wanted this entire time.
Palestinians fleeing the Gaza Strip is what they wanted 30 years ago. Israel funded and supported Hamas because it thought that Hamas being in charge would help them ultimately settle and take control of the Strip.
It's literally just a second Nackba. Leave or die.

"I listen to lots of these geopolitics podcasts. They're always decrying the fact that every US President says they want to pivot to Asia.
They see the principal rival to the United States as China. So they want to pivot their military resources, their economic might, to that region.
But they keep getting drawn back into the Middle East, which is not as strategic as it used to be, partly because America has shale gas, they don't rely on Middle Eastern oil in the same way that they used to.
So they want to stay out of the Middle East, but they keep getting drawn back into it because stuff keeps happening.
Trita Parsi said to me that this is not an accident. Israel's biggest fear is the fear of abandonment.
That America basically says: "look, you're kind of on your own, we don't have the military resources to expand here, we are going and focusing on East Asia".
And the way Israel says: "remember us, come back!", is to constantly create problems.
If you're constantly creating tensions with Lebanon, with Iran, and making completely unrealistic situations like this plan for Gaza, then you are telling America to come back.
So it's almost this sort of somewhat abusive relationship, where you're constantly causing problems so that they can't leave.
And that seems to be what's happening here.
Every time I see a long-term plan by Israel, it seems in a way that chaos is part of the plan."

If you read Novara Media or follow any of their journalists, please read and consider this Twitter post by Mohammed El-Kurd.

It's been a recurring theme with Novara for a while now that certain commentators (most notably Aaron Bastani and Michael Walker) have been coming out with increasingly authoritarian and right-wing takes in some ill-conceived bid to boost their platform and find common ground with right-wing people. In this case, Bastani's actions led to 3 people being charged with a crime. Please think about the impact of supporting Novara, given this context.

“The protests are a parade of delusion,” said Adnan Barq, a 23-year-old Palestinian activist and content creator living in East Jerusalem. “Now they want to come and seek democracy, after seeing the Israeli government clashing with Israelis’ interests. But whenever that government oppresses and kills and bombs children who are on the Palestinian side, no one cares. What kind of democracy are they trying to achieve under apartheid?”
Amjad Iraqi, a Palestinian policy analyst at Haifa-based think tank Al-Shabaka, believes Israeli protesters are missing the point. “This idea that the supreme court either defends democracy or is blocking government policy are both wrong,” he said, pointing to a 2017 study that shows the high court rarely intervenes in petitions brought against the government.
Many Palestinians see the protests as a defence of the existing system – one that oppresses and discriminates against Palestinians. It’s unsurprising, then, that few anti-occupation activists have attended demonstrations. Meanwhile, those that have report finding them exclusionary and hostile. Sally Abed, a Palestinian citizen of Israel who works for activist group Standing Together, said the militaristic, flag-waving nature of the first protest she attended put her off going again.
“It would have been much more impactful if Palestinians participated in [the protests]” she said. “[But] if Palestinians actually went on the streets right now and did what the current protesters are doing, we would have probably been met with violence.”
Barq agreed. “Who said we have the right to protest? If we even think about it, we get arrested and beaten by the soldiers,” he said.

I'm not going to read it because it sure-as-hell will trigger me. Although... maybe it's positive? I don't know. Either way, it did make me laugh.
Well, not laugh, but... exhale breath at the bluntness and jaggedness of that title. Via Novara Media
