I know sort of obvious choices, but I'm curious to see what opinions you have on these ships.

did metadede so its time for metalor and metasusie! putting both of these under the cut because youre getting my double opinion whammy. obligatory "its not every shipper obviously im just generalizing based on personal experience" dont let my opinions stop you from shipping something unless its like problematic obvs lol

theres nothing wrong with metalor but it unfortunately does fall into my "red flag ship" category

ill reiterate my definition of that again for people who didnt catch it in my last rant: what i call red flag ships are ships that are totally fine on paper, but for some reason the shippers and fandom culture surrounding it are just rancid and it throws me off liking the ship all together. and then i get kinda sussed out by people who ship it

honestly i have never gotten the appeal of this one or understood the dynamic at all. and thats fine of course. i did try reading a couple fics about it even, and in them its usually like. meta doing some shit that makes absolutely no sense under the guise of "he has a good reason for it" that just Coincidently happens to land him and magolor into some relationship-implying situation. and also the "good reason" meta knight had for doing whatever was not a good reason and was in fact a huge stretch of a reason for sake of moving the relationship along quicker. which you know i dont shame at all, i get that sometimes you just want to get to the juicy shit and people are absolutely allowed to do that, but that really just sums up my feelings on the ship entirely lol. stretches and stretches of reasonings for them to get together that dont entirely, or sometimes even remotely, make sense but okay they end up together in the end somehow 🤷

the fact that the ship is the two most popular and thirsted over men in the series together is the reason why this one lands into red-flag territory im so sorry. it attracts some um. interesting people who end up being somewhat pretentious about their own interpretations on the characters and some people get a little scary or intense about it. also of course occasionally their relationship being boiled down to whoever ships them nonstop thirsting for both of them but thats like just fandom culture for you, i really cant judge. people do that with metadede too to be fair. also a lot of metalor shippers ive seen are just downright mean for some reason. anyone else notice that or have i just been running into bad people

as people might be able to tell by how fairly neutral about it i seem, this one is yeah one of the less red flag-y of what i consider red flag ships. its totally fine. i personally really dont like the ship but its only like 60-70% of the shippers who i squint at compared to the Abysmal rates of other red flag ships. speaking of, by the way...............

i Do think its possible to ship this one in a healthy manner. actually even in a not healthy matter as long as youre explicit about it being not healthy and its just one of those ships you find interesting due to the drama. ive read metasusie fics where it was explicitly about how fucked up the relationship can be and theyre very very fascinating from a story and character perspective if you want to explore a tragically evil but still nuanced susie. i would say highly recommend, but i dont actually because a lot of them just lean into weird unnecessary torture porn. its somewhat of a fine line between tasteful and untasteful

ANYWAYS brief tangent aside, i think its possible to ship this one in a healthy manner because you know me i would be a hypocrite to bash an enemies to lovers ship, but it obviously relies on susie needing to recognize her faults and make up to meta knight in some way, plus improve as a person in general. its somewhat of a grey area depending on various factors, both game and real life perspective-wise, how redeemable one considers the whole mechanization and dehumanization though so i dont blame people who absolutely dont trust the ship

speaking of lets get into the way this one is Definitely the reddest of the red flag ships ever. metasusie shippers what are you doing oh my god

the. the. the the when you the when you woobify susie. i do not use that word lightly in regards to susie in particular because of how often its misused by people who hate her just to mean "im mad that people are making cute friendly content of a character i dont like". no im using it in the actual proper way as in why in the world do i go around and see some metasusie shippers saying "people who hate metasusie are so stupid, susie literally never hurt meta knight in canon!!!" i shit you NOT that is a legit take ive seen a Lot of people have nearly word for fucking word and its like. what are you ON did we even play the same game?? did you even play the game at all??? are you as white and dense as a sack of flour and thats why it went over your head?????

people will try to make the excuse that they have headcanon or interpretation differences that lighten the whole endeavor, which yeah that fair. you can imagine mecha knight was just some suit they put over him rather than anything invasive like a lot of people think. thats absolutely fair. you can imagine that meta knight still retains parts of his super star personality where he was kinda okay with the mechanization in some twisted personal ambition way because hes a power hungry guy who will take any means necessary to be stronger. thats also pretty fair. ah you think this is sounding favorable to the metasusie shippers huh. WRONG. WRONG. YOU CAN THINK ALL OF THIS BUT NONE OF THIS EXCUSES THAT THE WHOLE MECHANIZATION WAS STILL WRONG NO MATTER HOW YOU TWIST IT. tfw mecha knights theme is called "inner struggle" definitely implying that he did Not like being mechanized and was trying to fight against it. tfw the elephant in the room being mechanization is of course a metaphor for colonization which is not a good thing to do to someone regardless whether or not they seem cool with it. tfw THE DEHUMANIZATION. TFW METASUSIE SHIPPERS GO HEEHOO HEEHOO CUTE SHIP AND POLE VAULT OVER THE DEHUMANIZATION. HI.

regardless whether or not you have interpretation or headcanon differences, you Cannot ignore the fact that the game does not exist in a vacuum and its themes are undoubtedly tied to real life parallels. in ignoring those parallels or sidestepping them when theyre so blatant and in your face Yes you kinda are being a huge asshole. susie calling mecha knight an It and being like heres our newest product :) while also having the dissonance of being like hes such a cool strong handsome knight is supposed to directly refer to how colonizers will fetishize the people they colonize while fucking over them and their home because they only like them as a surface level Idea rather than actually respecting their culture and them as fellow human beings right im not just being insane making all this up??? huh???? ive gotten away from my original point i feel but tldr IF YOU PRETEND LIKE SUSIE NEVER HURT OR DID ANYTHING TO META KNIGHT I WILL THROW YOU INTO A GRAIN SILO. NO!!!

anyways if you have susie getting a redemption arc yes youre so cool. if you have them getting together okay thats cool. if you draw susie/mecha knight art and act like its cute im throwing you into the grain silo too. if you dont have susie properly redeeming herself and ship her with meta knight even though shes still weird about him and still colonizing people then i dont trust you and thats the category most metasusie shippers fall in

i also want to bring up the people ship it out of spite, because theres been a big spite-shipping metasusie resurgence in the past year thanks to weird stalking drama sparked by a very certain someone people might remember. yall need to realize that going harder on something that understandably makes people uncomfortable and trying to push back by pretending the ship is (by default) more harmless than it is and pretending that everyone who dislikes it is automatically being unreasonable just because Some people are yikes to metasusie shippers is Not the play to take. it just makes you look like an inconsiderate asshole. two people being assholes to each other does not cancel out it just makes an even bigger fire. get some critical thinking skills yeah

its not the fault of anyone who wants to make cute metasusie content that susie is very explicitly a colonizer and a lot of people have strong feelings about that, bbbbbbbbut i hope it came across in this whole tangent that if you try lessening the blow of her actions against meta knight people have full right to hate your guts imo

EDIT: extremely last minute edit but i just straight up forgot that people who arent lgbtq+ exist in this fandom and thus didnt mention it: can we bring up the amount of homophobes who love this ship purely because its strong cool masculine man x cute pink feminine girl. does anyone remember that one guy who was big on metasusie and had "christian" in his bio and also had "will not do lgbt+" in his commission sheet or is that just me. its so fucking funny. it makes me cry laugh whenever i think about it. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

First day of writing my thoughts feelings and experiences here and whatever else. I heard tumblr works well as a journal/blog so might as well.

Even though I'm honestly still not entirely sure how this platform works (especially not on the pc ver) we all learn as we go, don't we?

Anyhow. I gotta get back home from school.. can't believe I'm sick again! Man, it's all the girl's fault for not being able to keep their asses home when they're sick. I confronted one of the girls about it and she really said "You would've gotten mad at me for not coming to help with the project" (we are unfortunately working on a group contest together — a group of 6 girls) like, no girl, no one would. She was the one that got mad at another person from our group when THEY were sick and told them to come to school. Darn hypocrite.

I hate this damn problem doe. Its so stupid. There are ups to it though. For example, i didn't have to attend a bunch of classes which is cool but then again im falling behind w all the lessons and shit so thats not great.

I just want it to be over fast. Cant stand working w some of these people no more. Fake asf

Rn im taking a bath! My favourite thing to do ngl. Its so warm and nice and cosy. Outside, in the parking lot behind our house theres people setting up the farmers market. Ive always found it so endearing and nice!! I love farmers markets and even if i dont buy anything, just passing thru it is nice.

On another brighter than all the other notes!!! My boyfriend got accepted into Uni here!!! We'll be breaking long distance soon. Its all happening so fast but im so glad so so glad hes coming home soon. I miss him more than anything. He's also going to come visit in a week or so!! I cant wait

Next week our school has this thing called 'Green week' where we take a break from normal school activities to instead do other things related to nature n shit. In concept it sounds nice but our teachers always pick the most boring activities for us...that sucks. For example, we'll be going to the Botanical garden for 4 hours!!! That'd be cool and all but we all know the botanical garden like the back of our hands from how much we visited it.. Theres plenty of other things to see, im sure, but most teachers don't wanna bother with actual interesting stuff, unfortunately.

Another small something is that i have recently started playing Star Rail again! Its great!! I would say im doing quite well, advancing through the story and stuff... I still have to properly build my charas doe oops! Thing is, i came back for this new character called 'Boothill', truly a charming gentleman. Haha! I managed to farm around 100 wishes in a week with a bit of help from my boyfriend as well~ I will get Boothill guys trust!! I kinda gave in though and pulled for Aventurine as well ... and i got him. But theres around 40 days left to farm for Boothill so im sure ill be gucci!! Ill be pulling for both him and his lightcone... and hopefully more copies of him hehe~~~

Todays weather was kinda shitty. The weather has been shitty recently actually. Its so cold and it keeps raining even tho not too long ago it was all nice warm and sunny, like how spring should be! I miss the nice weather, i hope it comes back soon so i can wear my short skirts, long socks and cool graphic tees!

Hmm~ I might hop back on here later mayhaps mayhaps to write some more stuff but for now ill be signing off!

MINAH — well, first of all she doesn't trust any of them so jot that down. secondly, while she definitely distrusts riya's status as a noble more than anything else, I don't think she distrusts riya as a person (would you look at that! growth!). in terms of actual Party Member Actions, I'd say it's leo. the whole templar torture thing really unsettled her—she felt like she got a glimpse of the man underneath, who was willing to do anything in his quest for vengeance justice, and she just doesn't trust that level of single-minded (violent) devotion to a calling. DAI — ozy, obviously.

94. What is your character’s biggest flaw?

MINAH — she's a shifty little hypocrite and a liar DAI — he tries too hard to achieve an impossible level of responsibility to the world at large, generally at the exclusion of all else (including himself and the people closes to him)

95. How did your character learn the languages that they speak?

MINAH — grew up speaking common/trade tongue and whatever the native free marcher tongue is (fantasy scottish gaelic, I guess). she learned thieves' cant and antivan from the troupe, and she's currently learning tevinter from a primer she picked up in val royeaux. she also speaks a smattering of nevarran and orlesian—mostly enough to ask for tips, get directions to the nearest bar, and say "no officer it wasn't me" DAI — learned common growing up, spoke undercommon at home with his dad, and learned celestial as an acolyte. he speaks primordial as an earth genasi, but to be honest I'm not sure when/how he learned it—maybe it's innate? he's also learned abyssal courtesy of his current staycation in the abyss.

96. What is your character’s favorite school of magic/type of weaponry?

MINAH — honestly minah likes anything that'll reward her for being quick and quiet, but she likes bows best for range. she likes things clean and quick—not a big fan of getting messy DAI — where he grew up, illusion and necromancy were illegal and enchantment magic was super regulated (due to the war against the necromancer mind-bending king; it's a long story), so he really leaned into abjuration. fitting for a kid who would grow up to become a shield paladin, I think. (he's also a fan of evocation—sometimes you gotta hit hard and fast.) regardless, he prefers to take the field as a caster + shield rather than wield a weapon in his off hand—though maybe that'll change when he gets a second attack

97. What is most important to your character: health, wealth, or happiness?

MINAH — health. what else have you got, really? obviously she'd like to be wealthy, but a lot of that stems from "money can be exchanged for much healthiness." she's no stranger to lean seasons, and she knows there's more danger in illness than empty pockets—one can be rectified with a little guile and quick fingers, and the other can ruin you. DAI — happiness. it may be an extremely uneventful subject, but he's realized it's also an underrated emotion. he'd like more of it in his life.

Hangman head canon - reader special forces? If he can have an exciting job, why can’t she?

alright forgive me for my limited knowledge on special forces, i didn't write specifics on it because i don't want it to be inaccurate but hangman gets the point

honestly you of all people shouldve known not get involved with men in the military

i mean hell you know how it is with your job yourself

away from home, basically living on whatever base you've been transferred to, making friends with your coworkers, only to eventually lose them on some mission...

life in special forces was tough and yet, you still stuck around

despite the hardships, you found it exciting and there's nothing better than actually enjoying your job right?

sometimes though, you wished that you could settle down with someone

but you believed it would happen in the distant future

oh how you were so wrong

you eventually found yourself stationed at a base in miramar for the time being

during downtime, a couple friends of yours dragged you down to a bar in the area because you need to "let loose and relax once in a while y/n"

the hard deck as it's called

as soon as you walked in you knew what would go down

apparently it's a popular bar for the navy as you could see most of the patrons in uniform

you and your friends ordered a couple drinks and sat at the bar just having random conversations

until one of your buddies nudged your shoulder and whispered "hey, cute guy at 4 o'clock has been eyeing you since you walked in"

you smirked a bit and took a swig of beer mumbling back about how you knew because you could feel the stare

you decided to play a little with him and look just over your shoulder to make eye contact

he raised an eyebrow at you and smirks back

eventually he makes his way over to you at the bar

"hey there, sweetheart. how bout i buy you a drink?"

you chuckle a little and look over at him "i dont even know your first name lieutenant seresin"

at this point he's intrigued

"name's jake, but people call me hangman"

and this is how it started

honestly you never really planned on falling for him, but after a couple hookups it was inevitable

eventually you explained the reason why you were there to him and he kinda took that as a shock

however, before you both could have an actual talk about your feelings for each other, you were assigned on a mission

you let jake know that you had to leave later that night, 0100 hours

despite you two not even dating, hangman lost his cool

"i don't know if i can do this anymore"

"do what jake?"

"don't play stupid, this, relationship we have with each other"

"woah seresin we arent even-"

"thats the point im trying to make y/n! i dont think i can handle the thought of waiting for you to come back or not before i can tell you how i feel!"

you just take a step back trying to process whats going on

"you know what, youre such a fucking hypocrite lieutenant."

before he can even open his mouth to respond, you cut him off

"how is it fair that you can go on whatever fucking mission youre assigned to and expect me to wait here for you worried if you'll even come back or not, but i can't do the same?! i love you but do you think its fair for you to have your dream fucking job and i can't?"

now he's at a loss of words

"if you can't handle my job, then yeah maybe we aren't right for each other."

as youre on your way out the door, jake wordlessly grabs your hand and pulls you into a tight hug

he whispers quietly about how hes sorry he made you feel this way but he cant stand to let you walk out of his life completely

"so where do that leave us then?"

"well, i guess that means you're stuck with me as i am with you. you did say you were in love with me, don't think i didn't notice"

you roll your eyes and point out "i recall you saying first you had feelings for me, seresin."

"aw just shut up-" and he seals the deal with the sweetest kiss

eventually things get more heated before you get ready to leave

and as youre walking out the door you glance behind you and jake is standing there

"i'll see you when i get back okay? love you"

and he smiles while watching you drive off to base whispering an "i love you too" back

i cannot say how much i disagree with wolfwood's initial ideals being overlayed with meryl's apparent newfound determination in response to her senior dying. ww's "you need to kill to survive" is his own lie to himself to cope with being a child soldier, called out by vash in the beginning of trimax and serves as character development he moves on from. having meryl take that as a lesson is incredibly strange. i strongly disagree with that take. her just going to a shooting range and maybe learning the basics would arguably be more significant for her lmao

tristamp just does not do a good job w vashwood's relationship. at all. if i just saw this i'd roll my eyes at shippers. theres nothing there

The answer is hipocrisy, Rudy and Elaine are in love, are life partners: Live together, work together, have the same friends, have the same hobbies, and these jealous stans cant stand that, they want to pretend that Elaine dont exist. These stans that hate Elaine for her problematic past but love Chase, Madison, Carlacia are hypocrites and pathetic, i have much more respect for people that stop watching the show because the cast problematic past, because they are consistent, these that call the cast unproblematic but hate Elaine disgusted me.

Guess what: Elaine can go whatever she want and theres nothing these stans can do, Rudy dont know these stans exist, while he know Elaine for 4 years, and say she made him happier everyday and even before dating her was her friend.

Odessa is hated too for that, she had hate pages made for her, Drew himself untagged himself of posts this account made, the hate seem to slow down, but they did called her ugly, a homeless, that Drew like trash because he likes her and all kind of horrible things, i will never forget, she was on set of his new movie and his fans on twitter are treating her horrible for that, they cant accept that Rudy and Drew love Elaine and Odessa.

Yea sure i dont mind you posting my ask on your page. Adding to my post before, i think its also interesting how rika's response to willalex was THAT, because its true, no one really knows will bcs 1. Will himself never really opened up to anyone everything about himself except for emmy, 2. They just never cared enough to get to know him above whatever shallow perception of him that he put in front of them. I still cant stand the fact that they didnt expect will to pull that blackchurch move bcs huhhh?? Why couldnt he? Was i shocked when i read that scene? Sure, but not bcs i thought he was incompetent like how his friends thought him yk. So i dont think its really fair to blame rika or any of his friends either for the way they saw him, bcs will was also an active willing participant in these scenarios and his personality in front of them. His friends shouldnt be heavylifting his place in the family iykwim. They all should work together, not against each other (*cough* ofc they wouldnt understand shit like this in the earlier books *cough* lmaooo).

Unpopular opinion, i like aydin in blackchurch. Em needed someone like aydin at that stage of life so that mfs like will alex dont cross her boundaries too much. Em can stand for herself but sometimes her personality can blindside her and let others treat her like dogshit just because she doesnt have much love for herself yet, and she prefrrd to avoid confrontation bcs of her ptsd with martin. Im glad aydin, even in his own selfish agenda against alex, took ems side and helped her many times there, even in his own twisted ways. Ngl, if damon saw will alex be treating em like this, he wouldnt let it slide either. Okay this is so so random but I recently came back to the fandom after be bullied out of it (not by carats but by my school mates who found out I was on AfterSchool Club for an episode and treated me like the black plague) and backstory is I am a white passing mixed kid, and my whole life me and my friends who were also mixed would make jokes calling each other ‘whitie’ or ‘cracker’. And when i left the fandom people where still making White Boy vernon jokes. Fast forward, I am getting back into for the first time in years and comment on a tiktok how i will call Vernon “Frat boy” or occasionally “white boy” to my friends to distinguish him from the other members. And the Original poster answered my comment with a video saying “I hate when White Carats-“ and then proceeded to make fun of my name. I obviously got a little upset and just said things like “im not white, im white passing. Its a little bit hypocritical of you defend one mixed person and then in the same breath make fun of another mixed persons name” (the part about that is my name is related to my culture). Any they pretty much said “doesnt matter, my point stands” and i thought that was valid. I did some more reseaech of recent interviews and while I could only find him being upset about racism and colourism in Korea, I know he has stated he feels more korean and I respect that. So i went back to the original post, deleted I comment where I accidentally misgendered OP and apologised, explained how i felt, said that they were right and left it at that. But now I cant help but feel like a horrible person and I am worried about how my stupid one off joke may make people think im racist or a karen and I am lowkey just freaking out cause in my mind it wasnt a big thing and now i just feel like a horrible monster for saying it at all even if it is a joke and even if i did apologise. Anyway, I just need a Fellow Carats advice/thoughts before i spiral even further.

i think of course, you can call yourself and your friends whatever you want as long as they’re ok with it but when it comes to a celebrity you can never really know what they’re comfortable being called unless they joke about it themselves, so as a blanket principle i wouldn’t call anyone anything they could be potentially uncomfortable with /lh

i don’t think it makes you a horrible monster but i would just be more thoughtful of what you call other people, bc again we never know what people are comfortable with unless they say so themselves

of course he could have said something either way about being comfortable being called these words but i’ve never seen anything so i’d just air on the side of caution

#like yeah he was mean but like so was miu?#so in chapter 4 trial when kokichi pointed out that all this time the others #have ganged up on him (even tho he wasnt making any real trouble just being #annoying) and then acted like theyre such good people #and when kokichi pointed out that they were all about believing in friends #when it came to maki being suspected but then wouldnt do the same #about some other person (cant remember who it was)#and then when kokichi called himiko out on only caring abt tenko after she died #like kokichi is. right? about a lot of stuff and the others arent as nice as they think #and OBVIOUSLY im not saying kokichi was right to do the things he did #(even tho the only real evil thing he did was gontas case in chapter 4)#but SOMETIMES i really think the others should think about how this #killing game experience has been in kokichis experience #and how they have affected it by making him out to be like. satan #even tho hes just been annoying and called them names (again. just like miu)#hhhhhhhhh idk call me an apologist or whatever #i just think the others have been hypocrites and kokichi has in return #also been treated poorly

Like Phil and Techno are Mary Sues, Ranboo lore confuses me, and Niki arc was based around the og L’manburgians and especially c!Wilbur

Like the only thing I could think of was Ranboo finding about tubbo’s execution, but he did and that went literally no where

What would you do if you were in the discord calling the writing shots?

the solution is really simple actually, either make these characters realise their mistakes and have it become some sort of character development arc, for example, c!techno realising he was just being biased and his ideaology doesnt work in this situation, realises he hurt people, stops teaming up with c!dream, and slowly but surely rebuilds his relationship with the other members of the server by helping them fight back against c!dream. OR. it could be acknowledged hes a hypocritical asshole who does whatever he wants because hes strong, and actually be painted as a villain hiding behind ideologies to really just do whatever he wants. personally id prefer the first option because theres so much you could do there, and i want to actually like his character.

the issue is, all these characters have so much potential that just never gets explored. i cant tell you what exactly i would do because ive seen it be done better by other people. the potential is there and thats why its so annoying. because it gets thrown away in favour of being epic mary sue characters who are a "family" despite there barely being any emotional connections or substance.

for example, c!niki. the whole rocket duo arc was interesting, her and c!jack planning to kill c!tommy. c!jack actually had a reason whereas c!niki was simply trying to find someone to blame for all her traumas and problems. the potential of this? sweet, beloved c!niki who stood up against tyranny with nothing but spite and bravery? turning into a bitter traumatised girl in the face of loss and despair, trying to kill a friend because she had to blame someone because she couldnt handle the pain of it all? the potential for the exploration of her mental health was craaaazy. and then she just. dropped it lol. she was just like "im baking again" and its like. ok? so where did all that go, her trying to kill c!tommy just brushed under the rug, suddenly shes just "better" despite not really seeing the progression. she just suddenly was. dont even get me started on the fact she joined the syndicate, yknow, the guys who helped her destroy her home, and worked with the biggest monster of them all, c!dream, to the point she eventually helps them free him??? and shes like "theyre my family they accept me" LIKE WHAT???? WHERE???? IN THE 5 MINUTES OF SCREEN TIME YOU GUYS HAVE TOGETHER?

c!ranboo..... man. hes even more wasted potential. and i get half of it is scheduling issues, and i sympathise, but thats not the only issue here. c!ranboo has more mysteries than personality. he just keeps creating more and more questions and then never answers them, and then he kills off his character 💀 like yeah hes gonna come back but we still have no answers to anything really and its just like. ok. also the fact hes a character thats like, on everyones good side??? sorry but it pisses me off that hes all buddy-buddy with the guys who destroyed lmanberg. like he saw them blow up a nation (helping c!dream while theyre at it) and was like "PEOPLE NOT SIDES. anyway im gonna go live with them". like what?????? and then the fact he finds out about the execution and just. its never brought up again (and never fuckign will be because now c!tubbo and c!techno are buddies which was so horribly "developed" lol). he really just listened to them shit on c!tommys death and didnt say or do anything. he knew they were a threat to c!tubbo but also never really did anything other than observe. he talks so much about "people not sides" but then, what have you done to help people, to choose people, other than just be friendly with everyone and avoid conflict? so much potential, so many questions, but no actual closure for anything. also the fact that people take his word as law, despite the fact that he is actually written to be unknowledgeable/hypocritical on purpose pains me, though thats more to do with the fandom than the character.

c!phil. once again, POTENTIAL. imagine this: immortal being kills his own son in the midst of war, confusion and anguish. he carries out what he believes to be justice and pays the price by having to kill his son who he believes lost his mind. he feels guilt and for that he tries to help the nation trying to rebuild itself, only to be haunted by the ghost of the very son he killed, and finding out he lied in his letters because he didnt want to dissapoint his father. potential conflict between trying to help lmanberg vs realising maybe his piggy friend isnt so justified in everything that he does, and he sees the wreckage of november 16th for what it was. but we got this instead: kills suicidal son, calls him evil, blames government for having to kill him, disrespects his sons ghost, believes c!techno can do no wrong, and never for a second doubts himself or his buddy while actively villainising the victims and trying to "teach them a lesson"....... lol ok

sorry i went on a bit of a tangent there, but what im trying to say is, look, the potential is right there. they were SO close. but they threw it away and thats what infuriates me. because ive seen these characters be rewritten in much more interesting ways, while still keeping their flaws. but instead we got this, and if they were separated i probably wouldnt care. but my biggest grievance is the fact that their bad writing ends up fucking over the other members of the server and its annoying.

Alright, it’s been a month since Y/N announced she’d be moving in with me - no, she didn’t ask if she could nor if I’d want her to, she straight up casually informed me she’d be moving in with me since she’s starting college. I’m lucky she even thought to tell me, knowing her it wouldn’t have been so strange for her to just show up on my doorstep with a grin like “Alright, I live here now.” Having a six years younger sister who can act both younger and older than me - sometimes both at the same time - is a bit complex. Obviously, my protective and nurturing brotherly instinct kicks in whenever she complains to me about something, but seconds later she tells me she’s taken care of it already and I feel like a fool for overreacting even if it was only internal. She’s calm and rational when she needs to be and a reckless airhead whose only goal is to have fun when she wants to be.

And judging by her and her friends’ main methods of obtaining said fun I can see how much alike we are: playing drunk video games, drunk darts, drunk pool. You see, there’s a lot of drinking involved and that’s something I’m greatly unhappy with and have scolded her on countless times just to get a fake promise, probably with fingers crossed behind her back - that she’ll cut down the alcohol. Not to mention she’s not even old enough to drink so I’ve been very insistent on her cutting her bad habit. She’s tried calling me hypocritical at times but she can’t do so rightfully since I’m, you know, of drinking age. So she’s basically bound by law to follow my advice and orders.

At least now that she’ll be staying with me I’ll be able to keep a better eye on her. A rascal high school student will either mature-up in college or go even more downhill. I aim to make her fall in the first category, but I’m making no promises - she’s very unruly, just like me. Damn, never did I think my own traits would come hitting me in the back of the head like a boomerang but here we are.

Regardless of all the crap I’ve just spewed about her, she’s a wonderful girl. She’s always been my pillar of support and never gets tired of it. She never misses a call of mine and has never not replied to a message of mine, no matter how drunk she’s been. She’s never skipped a Saturday night Skype call, no matter how busy she’s been. She’s never let herself forget she has a brother who often times needs her by his side.

Once she even talked one of her friends who has a car and a driver’s license drive her all the way to my apartment complex when I was having a really bad anxiety attack and legit couldn’t talk on the phone. She went door to door to find which apartment I live in and stayed with me the whole weekend she was supposed to spend at a music festival or something. It’s not wonder she’ll be a med student - she’s always wanted to be a nurse and has practically been my personal nurse since she was twelve. She maybe wasn’t always physically present to help me, but she’s a great instruction giver for when I need her and she’s unable to come to my aid.

Well now, we’ll both be there to aid one another.

“BEEP BEEP FUCKER!“

I nearly flip off my chair at the distinct yelling coming from directly below my window. I’d recognize that voice anywhere, and it’d always bring a smile to my face without fail.

I rush to get up from my desk chair and open the window but when I do so, she’s no longer on the sidewalk. There’s only a car I recognize to be the one of the friend that drove her here during that nightmarish episode I explained earlier.

Before I can ever back away from the window, I hear my front door swing open and a yell echo from down the hall, “Corpse! How many times do I need to tell you to lock your door, damn it!”

“The same amount of times I’ve had to tell you to cut down on the al- WHOA!“ She doesn’t let me finish the sentence and jumps me the second I step out in the hallway.

“Missed you, stupid!“ She says, her legs wrapped around my waist as she ruffles my hair, “I’ll trim your hair later. Why have you let it get so long?“ She questions, furrowing her brows at me while running both her hands through my mess of a hair - she has a point, I’ve let it get out of control. While doing so, she seems to get an idea all of a sudden so she quickly climbs down, reminding me of the huge height difference we have now that her feet are on the floor. “I know you two have met before, but I think you need to re-meet...“ she says, turning to look at her friend who’s smiling timidly at her. She sends the flustered girl a wink before turning back to look at me, “Corpse, I’d like you to meet Abbey, my girlfriend“ she says proudly, skipping over to the blue haired girl and wrapping an arm around her shoulders. Y/N pushes up on her tiptoes and places a kiss on her girlfriend’s cheek. It’s adorable to see her shorter than yet another person she clearly adores to annoy.

I smile at the two girls, holding back a chuckle as to not embarrass Abbey more, “Well then, nice to meet you Abbey. You should know you are one strong soul to be putting up with all that.“ I purposely don’t look at Y/N as I motion towards her, earning me a pissed off “Hey!“ as a response to my remark, “Stick around for dinner, don’t worry neither of us will be cooking.“ I point at myself and then at Y/N as if to reassure her she won’t be a victim of food poisoning.

“Actually...“ Abbey says, tilting her head to look my shortie sister in the eyes as if taunting her to say something.

She finally caves, raising her left hand as though she’s volunteering, “Ugh fine, I may or may not have taken a cooking course and may or may not know how to cook a decent meal. It’s whatever, really.”

To say I’m impressed would be an understatement. I’m impressed, shocked, surprised and flooded with joy that my sister has finally decided to start maturing. “Cooking course, huh? When did you decide living off of takeout isn’t a nice way to live?”

She rolls her eyes at me, “Oh no I still go full weeks with only takeout and cereal, I just needed a distraction because...well...” she trails off, her gaze dropping awkwardly as she fishes for words or perhaps already has them found but doesn’t want to spit them out.

Abbey huffs, taking Y/N’s hand and lifting it to show off her wrist where I catch sight of a batch of colorful handmade bracelets, “Because these aren’t gonna earn themselves.”

I raise an eyebrow, puzzled as to what exactly she’s referring to.

Y/N sighs, taking one of the bracelets, playing with it nervously, “I have one for every month I’ve spent without getting drunk - Abbey made them for me. I need a distraction to stay sober so...I took up cooking.“

I can’t remember a moment I haven’t felt proud of my sister. Y/N’s always been on top of her shit, drunk or sober she knows what she’s doing. She’s mindful even when she’s reckless, thinks soberly even when she’s been drinking heavily. She’s always proved herself to me and to the people who think of her as a lowlife without even trying. She lets the world breeze by her without thinking too much of it and yet she still mesmerizes me and many of the people she meets - Abbey has now officially joined the club.

But, all things said and considered, I think I’ve never felt as proud of her as I do right now, seeing those six bracelets on her wrist - half a year without getting drunk. I know she wouldn’t lie to Abbey, she rarely lies to me too, so those bracelets have been earned and well-deserved and that makes me feel like the Y/N I remember is not the one standing in front of me right now. That silly girl is still in the suburbs, making a shitty-ass choice of messing up her liver. A grown woman, a responsible adult has taken her place though, and I couldn’t be more glad.

“Y/N...“ I finally manage to utter her name, making her gaze meet mine, “I’m so fucking proud of you.“

A smile slowly stretches the corners of her mouth upwards, her eyes shning in a way that has nothing to do with the lighting in this hallway. She’s not a crier though, I know those tears are gonna stay right there, stubbornly refusing to escape her eyes, “Thanks, Corpse. I’m proud of you too....” she says, nodding her head slowly, “I can overlook the untrimmed hair.”

Sigh

Y/N will always be Y/N no matter what I guess. That’s a good thing - I love her just the way she is.

As you got ready tonight

You weren't going sit in the house anymore waiting for keigo to show up whenever he felt like it

Tonight you were going out for you

You thought about how you used to have fun, how you used to be happy

And how miserable you had been lately and you decided

If Keigo didnt appreciate you anymore

Then you'd find someone who would

So thats why you found yourself looking in the mirror admiring how well you dressed up tonight to go out

You almost forgot how hot you were when you put in a little effort

You had originally stopped because keigo would tell you how beautiful and perfect you were without make up or anything

But now you were on the prowl for someone new to notice you and keigo's words meant little to nothing to you right now

Tonight you were gonna find someone to show you just a little bit of attention you craved so much and it wasnt going to be keigo

Just then you saw keigo staring at you from the reflection in mirror

he was home unusually eailer

"Dont you have to work?" You asked bitterly

"Where are you going?" He asked ignoring your statement

Sighed and rolling your eyes and picking up your purse you turned to him before leaving the bedroom, "Out. You don't have to wait up for me."

"You're being ridiculous y/n."

He said following you but you ignored him

"Y/n? Y/n?" He kept calling you, "You cant just go out an-"

"And why not?" You turned to him before you left the apartment, "according to you were not even really dating-"

"You know why that is." He told you seriously

You huffed out a fake laugh, "yeah, but its still okay for you to flirt with anyone?"

Keigo didnt respond to that making you chuckle, "Exactly...like I said im going out dont wait up." Then you slammed the door leaving.

You knew you were being unreasonable with him

You knew the two of you needed to just talk and make up

But you kept letting your anger from all your arguments cloud your judgment

Because you just wanted him to feel the same hurt and jealously you had been feeling more then anything

Keigo stared at the door you had just slammed

Things somehow got worse in the following days after your argument on your anniversary

You refused to talk to him

He tried to apologize to you but you basically brushed him off

Keigo wasn't sure what to think you said you hated him, you wouldnt sleep in the bed with him

Yet you hadn't packed up and left so that was good right?

But that distance that was growing between the two of you was wider then before

And he didnt know what to do to fix it

And now you were going out clearly dressed to find someone else

Did you really hate him? Had you really had enough of him?

Hell, he couldnt even blame you if you did he thought

You had put up with so much of him up until now

And maybe some of what you said the other night was true? Had he gotten too comfortable with you always being there?

But that was only because he loved you

Keigo was truly in love with you, and dispite you suspensions he never cheated on you

And he would never do that, you were the only one he wanted even now when you two seemed to be at each others throats

He still wanted you, and he couldn't picture his life without you

So thats why he ended up following you to the bar you were currently at

He made sure you hadnt noticed him staying in the back out of your sight

And he hated what he saw

He saw you having fun

You had met up with some of your girlfriends the three of you all laughing and drinking

You acting like you didnt have a care in the world, like the two of you didnt argue before you left out

Having a good time as if you didnt leave him alone in the house

He watched you dancing as though you were having the time of your life as other mean stared and gawked at you

He watched as a guy singled you out and was clearly flirting with you

And worst you let him and was encouraging him

You kept touching his shoulder laughing at his jokes letting him dance against you

Words couldnt describe the irritation he felt watching

He wanted nothing more then to rip that mans hands off you and fly away with you in his arms

But part of him felt like he deserved this

This feeling he had, was it how you felt?

If so he needed to fix this, was all that he could think

And he was about to go to you, but before he could someone called out his name

"Hey! Hawks is here!"

Fuck he said to himself when a crowd started to form around him

His eyes then connected with yours knowing you heard he was here

And for a moment he thought you were gonna come up to him

But instead you kept talking to the random guy ignoring him

Hawks wanted to go to you and talk to just take you back home

But was having trouble getting away from the crowd

He was all smiles talking to his fans but the whole time he kept his eyes on you

But somehow it became a battle to see who was going to be more stubborn

You continued to dance with the random guy, but now you knew keigo was here watching you

You convinced yourself not to care, you came here to have fun and he wasnt going to ruin it for you

But thats just what he was doing as you watched him talk to some random girl now

He was here to get under you skin, you were sure of it

But two could play this little game

Both of you having this little war with each other watching each other from across the room

And you couldnt lie you were enjoying it a bit

Seeing his eyes watching you, knowing he had to be feeling the sting of jealousy as another man held you close

But It all came to a head when you saw the girl he was dancing with lips on his neck

He wasnt looking at you when you saw that all his attention clearly on her

You couldn't deny the sharp feeling in your chest at the sight

And not wanting to see anymore you left the dance floor telling the guy you needed to go to the bathroom

Hawks pulled away from the handsy fan

Denying anymore of her advances

Yeah he had been trying to get under your skin now but thats was a bit much

But now when he looked up to find you again, only to see you were gone

His stomach sank

Where did you go? You had to had just seen that?

Did you leave with that guy? Hawks started to panic when he didnt seem him either

Where did you go? Why was he being so stupid just now? He should have just went to talk to you

Just then keigo noticed the guy you had been flirting with at the bar and went up to him

"The girl you were dancing with? Where'd she go?"

The guy looked at him like he was crazy "whats it too you?" He challenged him

But keigo wasnt in a playful mood and grabbed the man by the collar, "Answer the question asshole."

The guy quickly put his hands up in defeat, "she just said-

"Hawks?"

He heard his name called out and looked behing him to see you

"What are- you are so unbelievable." Yku shook your head storming off

You couldn't believe him he had the audacity to attack the guy you had been talking to

It didnt take much thought to figure out why

And it annoyed you to no end

So keigo could flirt and let girls kiss all over him but if you had a guy around you that was too much

He was such a hypocrite

You were angry your whole way back home

You stood in the mirror once you got back

But with a different feeling in your stomach then the feeling you had before you left

You felt defeated your plans of fun had been ruined and you felt like your back in the same spot you had been in

Hawks was giving you a little bit of space taking his time getting back home

Because now you were probably madder than before at him

When hr got in he saw you had just got out the shower

"Y/n..."

You heard him call out your name But you ignored him

Y/n, you have to listen to me."

You werent going to turned around but before you knew it he hugged you from behind

"Im sorry."

"Let go of me hawks." You spat out but he didnt budge

"Just listen to me y/n..."

"Why are we doing this to each other?" You asked quietly, "Why do you keep hurting me? What are we even doing? It clearly isnt wor-"

"Ive been an idiot, y/n."

Keigo buried his face in your neck, "I've been so stupid, but please please dont leave me."

You were trying to fight back tears, "I dont want to leave you keigo....but I cant-"

"Dont say you can't with me anymore. I need you." Keigo pleaded holding you tighter

You were so frustrated

You still loved him, you still wanted to be with him, because when things are good between you they're great

But the way your relationship had been it was becoming too much

But you wanted to stay with him

Because you loved him

You moved your hands and held on to his arms secretly enjoying his embrace that you missed so much

"I know you mean well keigo-"

"I love you so much y/n," keigo cut you off again, "I know ive been an asshole, ive been neglectful, ive been the worst, but dont give up on me. Please."

You finally turned around to face him and hugged him back

You could see the sincerity in his eyes as you did "I love you too keigo but I just cant do this- we keep hurting each other...thats not what your supposed to do to the people you love."

Keigo pulled back "You want me to tell everyone about us? I will." He told you, "You want me to tell you everything ive been doing I will, I promise you Ill to whatever it takes to fix us. I dont want to live the way we have anymore."

You knew he was serious and your heart leaped hearing his words but you werent sure

"You're the only one I want y/n" he said giving you a light kiss

Almost like he was asking for permission

"Ill do whatever it takes for you to forgive me."

He said inbetween kisses, "you're so important to me, im sorry i made you think you weren't."

You couldnt lie he was finally saying everything you wanted to hear

And you wanted to believe him

"You promise?" You asked him

"I promise."
