They have the ability to show anyone/help anyone toward the best outcome. They’re like a walking good luck charm. They also used to possess Chara’s power to reset, but they gave it up. Their powers are very based in probability rather than your standard time magic when it comes to Red Souls!Why Someone Might Love Them: They’re incredibly invested in bettering themselves, and they tend to put others needs above their own. They try their hardest in everything they do and are incredibly calming to be around, especially after the events in the Underground, what with their powers actually finally manifesting properly. They have a habit of getting in a very self deprecating mood if they’re having a dip or if they have been off their medication for a little while but, Sans and their other friends are usually very good at snapping them out of it! They also have a habit of being either extremely straight forward, or being incredibly sarcastic, and they tend to ramble on and on and on and on until it comes to a point that people have to tell them to calm down and start over.How They Change: Ren was in the darkest place of their life before they jumped into the Underground. They’d fallen in on themselves, couldn’t talk to anyone, couldn’t interact, couldn’t leave their house, couldn’t get out of bed… they were Incredibly sad, incredibly mean, and incredibly depressed. During their time in the underground, they learned how to interact with people all over again, they worked through their abuse, found a support system, managed to curve their alcoholism, their dependence on drugs to keep them calm – they even managed to stop lashing out at people and to stop wishing for things to have turned out better, because they realized they already had! They really did change for the better!Why You Love Them: I love them because they are nonbianry like me! And use they/them like I do! And also because, you don’t see that many afro-latinx characters out there in a positive light, especially not mentally ill afro-latinx characters in a positive light! And I wanted to give that representation. They also aren’t perfect, and it was a lot of fun writing a character who, because of incredible hardship and abuse in their life – was completely shut off from the world, and totally resentful of everyone. They definitely were not, in the beginning, a character someone could empathize with or even sympathize with. They were unlikeable, they were mean, they were hurt. And then they grew from everything, and they learned that they didn’t have to forgive the people that hurt them, and they didn’t have to love them, or even like them just because they were family. And they grew a support system, and a healthy life together with Monsters, and learned to love themselves. And most of all, learned that they were better than their parents, and that they, even though they’d hurt people in the past Incredibly, were Still better than their parents because they managed to make up for it Completely! I love them because, like Aquamarine, they very much human and Real to me! And Ren also, is a genuinely Good Person.

we are a trans heavy system. meaning most system members are transgender. and it's mostly nonbinary folks, but we do have some trans boy and trans girls (and like a couple cis boys and cis girls). but as we said most are nonbianry.

being trans is hard. dysphoria is hard. we have came out and wa not acknowledged, then was forced to come out by our moms religion doing shit they should have kept private. we not accepted by our mother at all. she is very anti lgbt. and our sisters don't understand. so it's hard.

we are 33 weeks on T and it's helped. we want to get top surgery this year cause that would really help with dysphoria. we need to love out to supportive housing so we can get space from our mother and be ourselves. we don't get to be ourselves. our family doesn't know the system stuff as well. it doesn't really matter. we feel we will never find a place to belong. top is the only reason we're alive and feeling like we aren't gonna make it there. sorry we're so depressing all the time.
