i uh, think that your dad's jacket is a bit too big, solomon.
ID: Two panel comic page featuring Solomon the cardinal, who in the first panel is trying to adjust an oversized suit jacket when he notices he can hear talking from the other room. He then leans against the door to listen in, and hears his parents talking, catching Marshall in the middle of a sentence. Marshall speaks: "…and why we never visited her. I didn't know how to respond so I just. I said it was all complicated." Tova then asks, "What do you think he knows?"

Source : A Righteous Thirst for Vengeance (W: Rick Remender A: André Lima Araùjo). Here is the (virgin) cover of Issue #8.
Hello, unfun Lester. (That’s how I call him in my head since issue #1 ^^.) Unfun but SCARY and CHILLING. I’ll miss him. He has as well this “I do things my (awful) way and won’t deviate from it”, though he hasn’t the flamboyance of a Bullseye.
Wow, Issue #8 felt a bit like a snuff movie ^^;;. (Also, quite refreshing to have comics really emphasizing the role of the art in the narration. It’s what does heavy lifting, here.)
Started to read that series on a whim because I liked the mug of the main protagonist on the first cover, but I really like how it’s done as a whole. As an aside: that (kinda cliffhanger) pic in the last issue just before (Issue #7) had already just ruined me (Yeah, it makes sense in the context of the story, I assure you.) :

oh solomon, now you're making a scene.
back into comicking for the new year,
ID: Four panel comic of Solomon the cardinal reacting with horror and shoving his father Marshall away, with a series of close-ups focusing on their hands as he slaps Marshall's hand off and pushes him back. In the final panel, they're both sitting on the pavement and Solomon is holding his arm out to gesture for his father to stay back, while Marshall looks somewhat surprised and hurt. Over the action, they talk.
Marshall: Come on, Sol--
Solomon: Stop.
Marshall: Solomon?
Solomon: You need to stop. Stop touching me. Stop acting worried. Stop acting like you don't know.
