i LOVE this movie but even after rewatching it, i have so many questions; did jack purpousely sacrafice madelyn so the show could stay relevant? i know at the end, before he "kills" her, she talks about how the show is popular now because of her expense - but did he know that her life was apart of the deal he made w the cult or was he oblivious? when he says "this wasn't how it was supposed to go", is he talking about madelyn's death or the demon destroying the show? if he sacraficed her purpousely then it'd make sense that she's angrily targetting him in the after life, but does anyone know for sure?
