One of the scenes I would love is Nick's mom telling him that all he can do is support Charlie but he cannot save him " love can't cure a mental illness" that is a powerful line . And Charlie finally taking charge and saving himself. Also my queen tori breaking Nick's brother's phone like that's iconic , Darcy getting everyone drunk during the Paris trip . Mr Ajayi getting a love interest because he is the best man and he deserves it . Charlie finally taking the courage and saying Nick i 💜 you and Nick running after him almost half naked 🤣🤣 . Nick's frnds apologizing to him for their homophobia and lack of action. And the best one my babe Charlie standing up for himself and telling Harry off and slamming the door on his face 😈 that's iconic and it has to be in it . Also there are many many many more but these are my personal faves .

I almost lost count how many time I've already watched this scene. Maybe it's just a simple scene, maybe it doesn't matter that much but to me it's the best the scene in the whole series. All the little things which many even did'nt noticed, the cinematography, the lights, the music, the emotions everything is so perfect.
When Nick was looking for Charlie he sees Tara and Darcy and he just stands there for a second. When the couple shared a kiss he just smiles. He looks so beautiful in that scene. Not handsome but beautiful, breathtakingly beautiful. That's the scene I fell for him. He looks so innocent and kind of happy that yes he can also do that. It was like a ray of hope for him.
Not just Nick but Tara, Darcy ,everyone is so beautiful in that scene, because they're just happy. When they're kissing, not only the colors of pride flag but everyone is just dancing minding their own business. And when Nick looks towards his surroundings, sees everyone is just enjoying themselves, it's like people really don't care anymore. So for me it was like Tara & Darcy's kiss inspired Nick that he can be a little courageous too and accepts what he wants. He can be of himself.

When reading Solitaire, I came across so many thoughts and opinions similar to Tori's, the way the book was written in relation to thoughts is what I like to analyze the most. Tastes not so similar, since I like a thousand things beyond but still, many in common and so I felt part of the narrative! Being a character with a lot, a lot of everything and complex, it became my favorite and I have no doubt.
Impossible not to feel compassion or empathy for Tori Spring, or not to fall in love with this complex and sensational character, at the same time irritating for having similar thoughts and depressive crises like mine...
Anyway, read Solitaire! No regrets about it, Michael and Tori bring one of the best developments out there.

One of my favourite aspects in the season 2 of Heartstopper is how unapologetically intolerant everyone is towards homophobia. Like.
Harry showing up at Tara's birthday party and Charlie shutting the door in his face despite that apology.
Nick freely calling out his brother's biphobic behavior. Tori literally sinking her nails in David's arm when he was mocking Charlie and Nick and planning to out them.
It's so refreshing. There's no moment where someone asks Charlie or Nick to be the "bigger people" and forgive anyone who undermined, mocked, dismissed, and harassed them for their identity.
Because that shit shouldn't be tolerated ever and it's not acceptable. Queer people aren't here to be your redemption arc.
