Is it late again for me? I don't care. You are getting another Nimona post. The only difference is that I'm formatting it properly since I'm more awake than the last couple of times I talked about Nimona.
Went to just go rewatch the demon baby clip that's on YouTube, and I have only just noticed that Nimona really looks like he could be Ballister's son. Nimona has dark hair and dark clothing like he does, which even has a little hoodie, resembling Ballisters cloak. You can even see that Nimona has similar dark circles around his eyes, like Ballister.
Of course, in the natural light like the pic above, you can see that Nimonas skin is lighter and his eyes are still pink.
But when they are in the car, because the window is tinted, his eyes look more brown, and his skin just looks a bit darker, so it looks closer to Ballister's skin tone.
And, let's be real here, if this isn't the most father and child moment of the dad being angry with the kid, especially when they say the most ridiculous shit after something serious happened and there was a long moment of silence on the car ride back home, then idk what is.
The point is, is that Nimona hasn't had a proper family in her life, or even a family period. Nobody has cared and loved her, and Ballister is the first person she can relate to. Whether she's even aware of it or not, Nimona is starting to see him as a father figure and picks a form that could have him be mistaken as Ballister's son, or rather be accepted by Ballister as his kid.
Which, of course, happens by the end of the movie.
Something, something, something, I'm losing my fucking mind and if you haven't lost it either because of this movie it's because you are either lying or you haven't watched it.

Jeffrey Dahmer had a preferred method for immobilising his victims, which was lacing their drinks with either sleeping tablets or a similar drug. Once, his plan backfired. A drunken Dahmer accidentally consumed his would-be victim’s drink, knocking himself out in the process. When he woke up, he found that the victim had burgled him while he was passed out. Naturally, he never reported the incident to the police.

“Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery” (2022)
Directed By Rian Johnson
Netflix
Poster:
Rian Johnson has stated that he was considering having a running joke of Benoit Blanc’s accent change to a different one each installment into the franchise with no explanation. However, he decided against this
Ethan Hawke’s cameo wasn’t actually planned. The dock scene was shot in Greece, and Hawke happened to be nearby, in Budapest, filming for Moon Knight
Benoit Blanc is hinted to be gay in this installment through the flashback scene in Blanc’s apartment. Blanc’s actor, Daniel Craig even stated that this was purposefully alluded to in the script.

I hate how Netflix is getting rid of spooky movies at the end of August. Like Hell Fest on Netflix. Now is it the best horror movie ever? No but I enjoy having it play in the background. It’s become a comfort movie.

LOVE
why does love have to be shown dramatically
As a person who craves love I cannot wrap my mind around the idea that for a romance to be good it has to be in some kind of way tragic.
Don’t get me wrong – some problems have to appear and the characters have to overcome them. But why is it always so… dramatic?
Most of the problems come from unresolved topics – one character didn’t give the second one a chance to explain themselves. And my question is WHY.
I’m watching Something in the rain and I loved it at the beginning but now (ep 12) it feels like the writers are purposefully making characters’ life hard just because.
I can’t understand it. Why on earth is she doing stupid things like constantly. It makes zero sense. It’s not even entertaining anymore. And even though I haven’t finished it yet I can easily predict how it’s gonna go. And I hate it. Because the writers ruined their relationship and actually the characters themselves.
I had the same issue with One day and Normal people (my rant).
Honestly the only drama I’ve watched so far with credible tragic moments and sensibly dramatic twists was First love (suuuper long analysis here)
I hate that I can’t just watch two people being reasonably happy without the writers making the hell out of their lives for nobody’s pleasure.
