still thinking about how the squire took a video of himself trying on his celebrity crush’s armor, probably thinking no one would ever see the video, only to have to show it to HIS CELEBRITY CRUSH because it had evidence on it that would prove him innocent of murder charges

Netflix's “Damsel” is such a gem! It's all about a fearless heroine who takes charge of her own destiny. 👸🏻💪🏻 I was hooked from start to finish. It's got everything I love: a fantasy world, a strong female lead, a twist on a classic tale, thrilling adventures, and an ending that delivers justice. I can't recommend it enough! 👑🐉

They Cloned Tyrone (dir. Juel Taylor).
Netflix's kooky sci-fi riff on retrofuturistic '70s-era blaxploitation films is a genre-bending experience starring John Boyega, Teyonah Parris, and Jamie Foxx as a trio of street-level hustlers, a dealer, pimp, and ho. They're all trying to get by when they discover a series of conspiracies in their neighbourhood. There's an impressive fidelity to style and tone that cements the film as a fun and stylish genre ride into themes of paranoia, mind control, white dominance, and enslavement.

'Leo' Review
#Leo Review: "The team balanced middle-school humour w heartfelt lessons to make this a well-rounded feature for the whole family. The songs are the principal aspect of this film bc you can thread many ideas with lyrics that can connect to the audience."
By: Amanda Guarragi There is something special about an animated feature that can speak to children and adults. The ability to educate children about life and how to express their feelings while making it relatable for adults is no easy feat. Every adult has gone through something, and it has stemmed from childhood. Films that tell a universal coming-of-age story will affect everyone…

So, I finally got around to watching Nimona, and IT FUCKIN' ROCKED SO HARD! For me, it was like all of my favorite metal bands getting together and playing a song at the same time. I can see why everyone here is talking about it! Expect a fanfic from me at some point.

A very enlightening film about darkness (pun intended 😌)
“Orion and the Dark” is a sweet and profound, philosophical story about overcoming fears, accepting uniqueness, and viewing things from a different perspective. This beautiful animated film offers plenty of food for thought, challenging our perception of what is inherently good or bad. There's no light without darkness, and complete chaos would ensue if one of them ceased to exist. Balance is the key, and everything in nature is harmonious. I highly recommend watching this film!
