So, I had a thought regarding Jack as the dragon of metal, which occured thanks to @firebunnylover. Under their post, I outlined many ideas on how Clay would control glass, mud, and sand with the help of other dragon warriors, and as the honorary mention, I also included Jack.
Well, if anyone's interested, bear with me for a while. First, I'll explain what such a dragon of metal would be capable of and then I'll finish the post with something Clay-Jack-related that blew my mind a couple of hours ago.
Here we go with Jack's possible powers.
Metal-sculpting. This idea originated from awesome bl00dw1tch's fic in which Chase forces Jack to make flowers out of metal chunks. I'm digging it because boy genius has to start somewhere! Once this skill is perfected, Jack could make his own robot-building tools!
Later, he would summon anything made from metal. So, yeah something very similar to Peridot from Steven Universe. Flying cans, robot parts etc.
Cool metal armor that can be made in seconds (for reference look up how Suyin Beifong fights and you'll get the general idea of what I have in mind) The first time Jack creates something like this during the fight with Chase, he was so surprised he forgot to be scared of Chase lol. (i just want cocky Jack beat up Chase from time to time ok. Mostly because of Chase's utter anger resulting from his inability to kill jack lol)
However, before that, Jack would protect himself with a trashcan lid (what? it's better than nothing! and he has no martial arts skills like Omi, Clay, Raimundo, or Kimiko!)
And speaking of his lack of training - Omi and Master Fung would take turns in training the ex-boy genius. He's better at kicking than punching but it can be improved!
So, yeah that's the main idea. However, I have taken into consideration that metal can also exist in a liquid form. For example, we have liquid mercury. Could Jack control something like that with his dragon powers? And then it dawned on me. Cheeseball.
What I love from ATLA is that even if you have an assigned element, such as water, earth, air, or fire in a battle you can use the fighting styles of other benders. The most notable one I remember is Zuko summoning a firewall but with moves of water benders.
What if Jack could learn on his own how to fight with liquid metal via observing Omi in action!? Of course, observation alone would not suffice, but it would trigger jack to seek new possibilities. He would read scrolls all night (just like Raimundo in the Sheni-bu episode) and study his and Omi's element. He would also ask cheeseball about channeling chi / how to take a hold of elemental powers etc. Eventually, Jack would try to mimic Omi's moves. Just imagine Omi explaining with passion how to make a small wave or how he can move the water from one container to another. <3 So, Jack would include that with his training with liquid mercury too.
As a result, Omi and jack would acquire a nice water-liquid metal combo, and oh boy that would look awesome.
Let's move on to Clay. Yesterday it dawned on me that Jack's attempt to teach someone would result from Omi's guidance. Omi by helping Jack master his element made Jack realize that 1. he belongs somewhere 2. you can always improve 3. both sides can get something valuable from this.
And I think it's super wholesome that thanks to Omi, Jack wants to bond with others and improve them the same way Omi improved him.

When you first came into the problem of baking too much to eat, you were stumped
And when you expressed that to your dear friend, Qiu. They instantly volunteered as tribute to be a taste tester.
They want them as fresh as possible so they would probably just wait around your house or watch you bake them.
I don’t think they would help much other than passing you ingredients and maybe stirring the batter.
Only to get a lick of the batter
Of course, it's not because they don’t want to help or anything like that, they just know that you probably enjoy handling it on your own and being in your element without having some nerd ask them to go through the steps for the tenth time.
They get super excited when you try out a new pastry or recipe and have them be the very first to try it.
It feels like an exclusive event every time they get to be the first to try something of yours.
I headcanon that Qiu is kind of hopeless in the kitchen, preferring to just go to the diner or their parents if they want something.
They burn water so it’s mesmerized to watch you bake something from scratch.
I like to think that for a special occasion, they might try and bake you something either from scratch or a box mix!

Thinks this is something you can add to your guys’ tea parties! What's not better than some tea with homemade cookies and bread?
It’s like an actual fancy tea party now! :0
Tamarack isn’t super picky, but does appreciate variety! She encourages you to try out a bunch of different recipes regardless of the difficulty level.
Like, what do you mean you can’t make macaroons? You’re a master baker, you could try!
She doesn’t want you to be the only one pulling your weight to supply these tea parties, she will be bringing lots of teas and little stuff to put on them, like milk and honey!
Tamarack is crafty so I see her making you a little apron and custom mittens with while wonky, cute embroidery of your name!
This inspires her to make more stuff like a chef's hat which leads her down a sewing rabbit hole.
She eats most of what you bring her but she also likes inviting you inside to give them to her Omi and Opa!
She doesn’t care too much about the freshness of the cookies but she also enjoys watching you bake.
The energetic girl needs some downtime too and watching you bake is soothing to her.
“Treats? Yay! This will be nice for the tea party! Come, sit! I will get the tea you liked last time!”

I love your art so much! It's amazing! Can I ask for some of your Xiaolin Showdown headcanons? Especially any you have about Omi and Chase!

And here a some of my HCs, they’re a bit all over the place so I’m really sorry some of them don’t really make sense:
-Omi isn’t well like by cute or domestic animals, but for some unknown reason, insects, predators, or eldritch beings, etc, adore him. Like, if he ever get himself into a dangerous situation with one of them, they’ll actually tried to befriend or play with him before attacking him. There’s nothing Omi can do bout this. Oh and he’s really popular with the big lizards too. You can drop him in a dent of komodo dragons and they’ll let him play frishbee with them.
-One of the reasons why Kimiko like hugging Omi so much is because she saw how the old monks at the temple treat him, and she was having none of that. Omi deserve more than that and she’ll make sure of it.
-Kimiko and Jack are best friends on some tech nerds forum and neither of them know about this.
-Every time Rai see Wuya again, he couldn’t help but wonder what she’ll say. Seething anger, or lies, or taunting, but there was nothing. He definitely didn’t feel disappointed or bitter, not at all.
-Wuya sometime cast a secret glance at Rai when no one’s looking. But that’s it.
-Rai may seems like the one who’s ready to throw hands with Chase the most, but among them it’s actually Clay who’s ready to go down. He’ll always prioritize protecting his friends first, but if Chase ever cross the line and hurt Omi then Clay will make sure with everything he had that Chase will regret it.
-Chase actually plan to make Jermaine a fallen warrior, probably a cheetah.
-One of the lies Chase told Jermaine about becoming a Xiaolin warriors was that his friend Omi needs help because the fight are getting more and more dangerous, which is why he was so angry when Omi was being a jerk to him.
-Jermaine was not really into Xiaolin martial art at first, but after trainings with Chase and the Xiaolin temple, he came to genuinely love and want to practice more and more. After he finally sorted out his conflicted feelings, he returned to the temple and become the fifth Xiaolin warrior i don’t know who ping pong is
-I actually think that Jermaine would be the Dragon of Metal, while Jack would be the Dragon of Lightning. Jermaine’s fighting style centering on strength and fast offense, so it would fits the hard, impenetrable metals, while Jack can provide his own energy for his devices.
-Kimiko now has conflicted feeling for mermaids.
-When she gets older, Kimiko studies the mechanics of the Shen Gond Wu, and actually figure out the base design that Dashi created . Give her enough time and she could even pitch a blueprint for a simple Shen Gong Wu.
-Chase know Guan is stronger than him, but he never considered Guan as an enemy as much as Hannibal. He knew that Guan had compromised too much, and lost his true principles of a warrior in order to pursue petty glory, subsequently making him lost his insight and will. Even if Guan is stronger, Chase know how to manipulate him, how to lure him in with hollow promises, making him willingly eat the rotten apples. A true laughable end to their past friendship, to two honored warriors of Dashi.
-Chase and Guan had a shady agreement where Chase would provide the stages where Guan could shine as a hero, and Guan will conveniently let Chase scoutes the potential warriors in the Xiaolin Temple. The agree was broken off later in the series.
-In the good Chase universe, after the soup incident, Chase begin to quietly observe Guan more, conflicted about how he had trusted Hannibal subconsciously, and realized that it was because he had always been aware of how Guan looked down on him, even when they’re friends. Later down the line, Guan begin to let the glory and fame hunger get to him, and Chase, already had enough of his arrogance, leave. Losing both Danshi and Chase, Guan begin to pursue his own self interest and later willingly drink the soup to gain more power.
-Also the reason why evil Guan hate Omi so much was because GC universe’s Omi poked Guan’s eye this one time really hard.
-Chase thinks that Omi is really funny. Like, whenever he’s in a bad mood he will either go training, meditate, or just think of Omi’s top ten cringe fail moments, or Omi’s top ten absolutely deliver his enemies moment, or just Omi’s top ten anything in general.
-Wuya actually adapt very fast with modern day’s pop culture. She also thinks that Lana Del Rey is the only one who gets her.
-Chase seriously contemplated throwing Hannibal into the lava. He tried. Didn’t work for some reason.
-Hannibal had a degree in Psychology
-Chase don’t really get why Omi become a cat instead of like one of his other warriors. People thought he knew but he really doesn’t. But cat Omi’s cute so whatever.
-Chase’s close tiger warrior had a lot of fun biting Omi by the scruff of his clothes and shakes him. He thinks that the sound Omi make is very funny.
-In fact, all of the warriors thinks so too. So yah, good luck Omi
-Chase un ironically thinks that Omi’s fail slangs makes more sense.

i can’t read the profile itself, but
on the Question section he wrote “me too i had a Bingo”
and it’s killing me because when Citron, the person Muku admires, started messing up with the Bingo, it was likely to protect himself. Misumi also messed up with a bingo most likely out of fun.
but Muku doing it... feels both like he’s taking after Citron, and that he’s having a bit of fun like his troupe’s mate. But also, it’s giving Itaru a way out to not talk about himself if he doesn’t feel like it, which is worth something considering Itaru is still secretive about his real self in the eyes of the whole world.
On the association corner,
he considers Itaru finds Omi kind (Omi also is collecting the appearance in the Kind corner that everyone always approves of), probably considering how much Omi looks after Itaru with the midnight snacks and all.
on the cool corner he wrote Juuchan.... Muku baby... he probably think of it like “yeah of course he finds Juza cool, we all find Juza cool here”. I’m not saying Itaru doesn’t find Juza cool, but it’s cracking me up considering i still remember how Itaru was offended at Juza “not having a nerd bone in his body, unlike Kumon”, out of the Hyodo brothers i would have seen Kumon more ahah. But if Itaru agrees with it it would be really sweet, considering i think Itaru can have ways to connect with Juza in the sense of how, he too was a lonely kid at school yaknow? And Juza is cool so it tracks.
I also think it would be really funny to get Banri’s bestie say Juza is cooler than him.
and the other chara is HISOKAAAAAAAAAA MY LOVE 😭on there i see the reasoning because i do remember Itaru mentioning he thought Hisoka was cool since he acted like a ninja. This is so cute though i love it so much.
and on “people he looks up to” it’s Chikage. I can’t really pronounce myself on this one considering where i last stopped, but despite all the “senpai” those two feels like such nerds i keep feeling like Itaru is more on the board of teasing him. That said hey, Itaru did see Chikage almost murder some guys and be ready to blackmail huge companies just for Itaru. Maybe Itaru is looking up to that.
(take my comment with a grain of salt on this one though, i stopped reading when the EN server went down and Chikage was still so guarded at this point that i don’t have the proper lense to discuss this. That said. I’d find it really funny if Itaru said Muku was wrong if it allows Chikage to have been on the “admire” portion twice only to have the correction be “Never in fucking hell”).
It’s such a sweet profile, Muku you angel...

Omi and Chase happily infodumping to each other like the little martial arts nerds they are 🥺❤
They not only talk about martial arts! Well, yeah they are indeed martial arts nerds but let's not forget they are both very faithful to their alignments, and every time they meet they have to have the same 'you should be Heylin/Xiaolin' talk 😅
So in my imagination, Chase is also a Cat nerd, a gossip magazines nerd, and an average evil enjoyer xD Omi, on the other hand, is a bee nerd, Pochi game enjoyer, and lovely goody-two-shoes.
As you can see, we can't disregard the differences between these two. However, when they set aside 'bribing the other to the other side of xiaolin-heylin conflict', they're pretty in sync! They can finally be nerds together.
Just imagine. Chase teaching Omi how to clean ancient armor only to cut that off by throwing random cat facts in the middle.
Omi gushing about his friends' interests. Chase reading aloud the contents of the evil housekeeping magazine. Chase and Omi exchanging stories of their trips to various places on Earth.
Just two nerds, in which one is an adult, and the other is a child, enjoying the company and passion for activities that make them who they are <3

The Samurai keeps to himself, so he was one of the ones who hadn't had much of an opinion on Omi himself. The little one was a skill opponent, but he’s come across plenty of tough opponents.
He was formerly a very honorable Samurai from a whole Samurai family that served a very affluent Daimyo, but circumstances led him to become a disgraced and displaced ronin. After which, fighting stops being something honorable or something he does to protect another or uphold ideals, and instead a means to an ends, because he still has to survive, especially when he becomes one of Chase’s fallen warriors. (Interestingly, he had a pretty noble reason for challenging Chase and being willing to wager his loyalty. He did it for an old brother-in-arms.)
Fighting keeps him fed, keeps a roof over his head, but he finds no thrill in it one way or another. The way he sees it, he fights like a fish swims, just as a fact of life. He’s a loner and keeps to himself for the most part aside from that, a bit gloomy and spacey off the battlefield. He’s thrown away principal and thinks little of platitudes.
“Bushido is realized in the presence of death. This means choosing death whenever there is a choice between life and death. There is no other reasoning.” for example. As a now-immortal fallen warrior, he’s certainly thrown that ideal away.
So he doesn’t give Omi much thought until Omi approaches him first.
Omi feels a bit of a culture shock, with other warriors, so Omi sort of hangs around the Samurai of his own accord because he sees him as the closest thing to a kindred spirit there (outside of Chase). The samurai is quiet and dutiful and calm, and easy to just follow around.
One time, Omi sees him practicing with his sword, and being the excitable little battle nerd he is, Omi’s amazed.
Omi’s eyes are big and sparkly in awe, and he gushes to the samurai in Japanese that isn’t perfectly fluent and is overly formal, but is perfectly serviceable. He practices most diligently and precisely! His mind is most focused! His sword is most unusual! Omi’s never gotten to see an odachi up close! So different from the average dadao.
At first, the samurai is a bit awkward about it and doesn’t know how to take the interest in him. He blushes at all the praise, but it’s hidden under the armor, so he pretends to maintain composure just keeps practicing. He blushes even more when Omi stands beside him and starts mimicking his movements.
Omi praises the Samurai’s technique and dedication with a butchered Japanese idiom, and the very first time Omi hears his human voice is when he corrects him to the phrase he assumes Omi was trying to say, “Different body, same mind.” And Omi does his classic, “Yes, that, too! Correct!” And the Samurai laughs for the first time in a long, long time. It’s the first time any of the other warriors have heard him laugh too, and they’re all surprised.
The Samurai shows off the craftsmenship of his weapons and armor, and shows of techniques that Omi isn’t familiar with, and Omi makes him realize for the first time in his life that he does have an appreciation just for the form and style of these things. He grew up with them, so they were so natural in his youth that he didn’t think much of them. And as a ronin, they were a useful tool to stay alive. But for the first time, it’s something fun that he takes a personal pride in.
Doesn’t quite see Omi as a student, since the kitten is technically his superior as far as rankings go. But he sees something amusing and cute in the way that the second in command of the army keeps saying how cool his sword is. Omi’s the first person besides the Samurai himself who the Samurai allows to hold his sword and get a feel for it.
Of course, him finding more passion in practice and fighting just makes him an each tougher opponent on the battlefield when they’re on opposite sides again. But even then, he sees Omi as a worthy temporary opponent who’ll probably eventually go back to being a jungle cat.
His half-joking nickname for Omi is “Koneko-dono”

Obviously no one was looking at the "Bird of Paradise"'s feet, of course, but it'd be so funny if the resident animal geek and established book nerd had noticed something off. Though I still don't think it would've made much difference.
Omi: Look, that parrot! It must be our bird!
Clay: Uh, I dunno, something about it seems phony as a three-dollar bill...
Ying-Ying: *sweating nervously, trying to decide if she should kill the kids to hide the evidence before Chase starts to suspect her or something*
Kimiko: What, because it's not a snake with a belly button?
Clay: What? No, but look at those feet! That thing's as windy as a sack full of farts! I'm tellin' ya, it's so fulla crap, it's eyes are brown!
Raimundo: Well, if you're done murdering the English language with three dollar bills and farts and craps, I say we grab this thing and head home for a mission accomplished already.
Ying-Ying: Phew. *squawks cutely and bats her wings*
Man I would have Killed to see an episode full of Clay and Ying Ying mashing up some Spy Vs Spy and Tom & Jerry shenanigans as Clay tries to prove that something stinks about her and Ying Ying just straight up tries to drop an anvil on his head.
With Omi's penchant for dangerous animals he may well declare her his BFF while Prep Ying Ying decides he's the least annoying because he gives her decent food instead of birdseed.
