I feel like wwdits is a show written to be in the worst timeline. Its like the characters choose all the wrong options. There were so many options, so many ways things could've gone and these characters continue to surprise us by choosing the dumbest, the most rediculous, the absolute worst options.

Where Wolves?

Nadja’s latest project requires a werewolf tail, but the only way to get one is to be courted by a werewolf during a full moon.

The Lion, the Witch, and the War

The vampires put on a puppet play about Nandor’s favorite war during a dark rainy night.

Oh Fuck! My Guy!

Laszlo, Nadja, the Guide, and Colin Robinson get stuck in an escape room overnight while Guillermo is sick with the flu. Nandor insists on caring for him until he’s better.

Colin invents a daredevil stunt persona while Nadja accidentally becomes president of the local elementary school parents association.

Newly divorced Nandor must fake his marital status to help Laszlo compete in the musical competition “Battle of the Husbands” unfortunately he didn’t tell his fake new spouse, Guillermo.

seasons 1-2 of wwdits are very funny and charming and good to rewatch but it is so disorienting when you realise how much they changed about the characters (for the better imo!) in later seasons. like. nandor says he was married to 37 women. nadja and laszlo are like, hiding their nonmonogamy from each other and being jealous? nadja has a cellphone? that she knows how to use?? guillermo can contact her on her cellphone???? mad. i choose to view later seasons not as retconning but as evidence of a major gas leak in the house that made them all more stupid gay and slutty over time

#wwdits #when they had nandor and laszlo hook up for the first time is when they started really finding the correct path imo #but the fact that nadja didnt know about it HSKFJDKFS please #you have all been going to orgies together for hundreds of years!! what is going on #also ik its generally seen as an annoying thing when characters get stupider as shows go on #but i honestly love nadja’s development #from like the deadpan capable one into an unhinged idiot like the others #feels lame to have the only female member of the core group be the smarter one #which is also why i hate fanon interpretations that go for the trope of ’nadja and guillermo and their idiot husbands’#first of all laszlo is an Intellectual #second of all if anything nadja is the idiot husband. get it right smh
