My 100 Baby Challenge

I used to think that I am the 100 Baby Challenge Pro. That was until they introduced infants. They need to be fed, diapers changed, attention and TUMMY TIME! So, what better for my sanity (which is barely hanging on as it is) than to start this challenge again!

The rules I am playing by:

Newborns can't be aged up until it is announced it is their birthday

Infants need to have three milestones in each area before they can be aged up

Toddlers need to be level 3 of all skills before being aged up

Children need an A in school before being aged up

Teens need an A in school before being aged up

For this run, I will be making all my donors "Mystery Sims" meaning I have no idea what they look like before we "try for baby" with them, so we can have some interesting looking children! Search for Mystery Sim on the gallery, and you'll see what I mean. And all of the kids will be named after food. That i like. So you will not see any Pickle in this bunch. Ew.

So now that all the housekeeping is out of the way, lets meet our first Matriarch, Marisa. She is Warm Hearted, Sincere, and Whimsical (from Maplebell's more CAS traits)

Cute, right? She has no idea what is in store for her. We will check in with her after she has popped out a few.

Now lets talk Donor #1.

It was steamy. Went straight from "Hi, my name is Marisa" to a little flirty jokes, to GET IN MY SINK YOU HAMSTER! So of course, she got preggers pretty quickly. Please don't ask me what mod allows for woohoo in the sink, but it happened.

Baby Time. This doctor is going to get to know us well. But don't worry we wont need them after a while, because Marisa will be able to give birth all by herself. Once you have done it 10 times, you don't need a degree.

After 2 minutes of labor, we have our first baby boy!

I think we lucked out with this one. Normal skin color, no unusual facial features! She is actually VERY CUTE! I would flirt with her if I ever saw her IRL!

As much as I make fun of season 1 Jon’s skeptic era, it is actually very effective world-building: while he often dismisses what seem like obviously supernatural occurrences (looking at you, Arachnophobia), Jon is clearly operating on the assumption that some of the statements will be legitimate — he not only takes known threats like Jane Prentiss and the remnants of Jurgen Leitner’s library seriously, but also sees statements he had previously dismissed as potentially legitimate when the same names or events reappear later on. Basically, it establishes that in ordinary (non-apocalyptic) times, supernatural events are known and accepted as real, but uncommon enough even employees at the Magnus Institute consider them to be the exception rather than the rule.

It's been a while since we posted on here, but you'll be hearing from us more often as we gear up for our upcoming Kickstarter for Drops of Death. Drops of Death is a mystery visual novel with a romantic twist, the killer is randomly selected from one of the four love interests, and you may unknowingly fall in love with them. Hey Mat, Long time no see, or write, or anything really.. feel free to rip this letter to shreds if you feel like it, I wouldn’t blame you. I didn’t exactly plan on dipping like that and I’m sure you’re probably pissed, or were but if you somehow manage to get through this stupid thing, then thanks… I’m doing better, thankfully.. sorted my shit out, like you said, as much as I think I can anyway… I’ve been clean for a while now, bar a few mishaps but I guess I should know by now that fucking up is just a part of myself that I can’t really change. I always liked that about you guys though, how you never judged me for it, I’ve found some pretty neat people here too, for the most part. I kinda cut my parents off too, but I dunno if I feel bad about that or not yet, guess I’m still figuring it out. I might give em another chance but half of me expects nothing to change, so I dunno… I kinda miss the Bay n’ stuff sometimes too y’know? Maybe not the rain though.. but I think I got so used to leaving things behind I didn’t really think it’d be any different this time around, maybe I was wrong. I’m doing okay, I guess.. but there’s a piece of me that feels like maybe I left a part of myself behind too. That sounds a bit dramatic huh? I don’t even know why I’m telling you all this… I suppose I’ve kinda been letting myself think about the past recently, someone got into my head about using it to move ahead instead of running from it and like, the elephant in the room n’ all that? I’m grateful you talked some sense into me before I did something I might’ve regretted not that I would have I didn’t mean to put you in that position though and I’m sorry if you thought maybe it was your fault that I left, cos it wasn’t. I really hope you worked things out with the whole Pixie thing too, I still think that was amazing, what you did I think it’d be neat if you had a relationship with her. Jon’s character development is truly a mystery to me.

Mans went from a grumpy (huge emphasis on the grumpy) judgmental hater to telling Martin he loves him in the most affectionate way you can possibly imagine.

And it’s funny because the more he turned into a monster, the kinder he became.
