🎫 glare?
I hope talking about his old team counts!
As I said before, Glare was the leader of a team of beastformers who were dispatched by Megatron to deliver mass casualties in dangerous war torn environments. Alongside him were three others:
Leer, his de facto second, who reveled in the carnage more than he did. He turns into a wolf and wields a massive hammer that he rarely cleans. He’s hot-headed, snarky, and prideful, and loves playing with his food. He has a higher kill count than Glare, and likes to boast about it. He was always the one who did the dirty work, and was happy to do it.
Kvetch, the more levelheaded of the group but still a highly dangerous monster. While the others prefer simple direct kills, they prefer breaking their targets down psychologically before striking. On the battlefield, they killed swathes of Autobots with boredom and apathy, always wondering whenever they could kill one target instead of many. They were a different person whenever their wish came true, and Glare usually left them to do the work for them. I haven’t decided their weapon yet, but they turn into a panther.
Tentie, the quietest and giddiest. She turns into a bat, and prefers to destroy enemies from long range with her sniper. Her resting face is that of a deep, interested stare, forever analyzing their surroundings. She speaks in quiet whispers, for her yells can cause physical damage to anyone within earshot. She’s cheeky and sweet-voiced, and loves cute things (note: cute in her own conventional way). She’s notorious for keeping smaller lifeforms as pets, but they always die on her.
All three of them were loyal to Glare, but one day, he never returned to them. When Leer learned of his defection to the Autobots, he was outraged; and taking on the new mantle of leader, set his sights on finding and killing Glare. However Kvetch and Tentie are both aware that there's more passion to Leer's hatred of Glare than what would usually be normal. It's more akin to.... how would you say it, heartbreak?

Anne sat on Jaya’s desk, snagging her coffee as she did so. It was a mark of Jaya’s distraction that it took her a moment to notice.
Jaya sighed. “Give it back.”
“Not until you’ve eaten,” Anne returned.
“I’m working.”
“You’ll do your work better if you’re not hungry.”
“I can work through lunch,” Jaya countered.
“And who’s supposed to bring you food, exactly?”
Jaya hesitated, clearly sensing that “you, if you’re so concerned,” would be a problematic response but unable to find a better one.
Anne didn’t wait for Jaya to gather her thoughts. “And after you’ve hijacked someone as your servant, you’ll leave me to eat alone. In this house full of strangers.”
“You’ve lived here for months.”
“Wasting away in this world you dragged me into, completely unable to communicate due to my own ignorance—”
“You understand the political situation better than I do!”
“Forever wilting, surrounded by magic I can see but not touch.”
“For the Lord—” Jaya growled. “Fine, I will go to lunch!”
Anne grinned. “I’m sitting here until you leave.”

remember my ex-raider post? no? im referencing it anyway! so anyways heres the new vegas companions ranked for how long admitting to being an ex raider would shut them up, listed longest time to shortest time! you can use it for your own ocs i guess but this is mostly based on my boy cave
boone stopped talking for an entire week after. he'd just barely gotten conversational after 1 month of traveling together towards vegas. he was talking about the ncr too much and too positively. it took 2 more weeks for him to get back to what counts as conversational for boone. hes not really chatty in the first place but his weirdly high trust in the ncr even after what he himself is upset about them putting him through is very grating. cave dropped an additional im a jackal and ex-powder ganger bomb month 3 after craig tried to suggest he enlist after a trip to bitter springs. they never really got to start talking again before boone was killed.
cass went quiet after being told and stayed quiet for 3 entire days. got over it in the end though, but mostly because he's not a raider anymore. nobody tell her its only ex because he literally cannot get back to his old group and he does not trust anyone else enough to run with. probably shouldnt say anything about having considered trying to join the great khans for a while before unfortunate circumstances ended up souring his relationship with most of the great khans he was close to either. this was before she figured out he was an addict which she was honestly way more upset about, she was pestering him to drink with her.
raul took one full day to get over it, actually suspected it for a while beforehand based on cave's vaguely guilty reaction to being told the story of how raul's family died. doesnt really hold it against cave like boone and cass did either. he is the first and for a long time only person to realize cave uses the fact he used to be a raider as an easy single use method to make people shut up and leave him alone for a while. cave used it because he ran out of stuff to keep withdrawal at bay and just needed some quiet time without raul razzing him or kvetching at him. raul is actually semi-prepared to come to cave's defense for when he tells other people that little tidbit about himself if they have a bad reaction to it. not where cave can see him do it though.
arcade took until cave was finished cooking for everyone, so like an hour at most, but wasnt overly hung up on it. cave actually pulled that card out more for arcades benefit then his own because arcade was stumbling over another attempt to cover up his past with the enclave badly. arcade wasnt that torn up over it but could tell cave needed a little time to himself, but not that cave usually uses the ex raider bomb to get time to himself. also semi-prepared to come to caves defense if anyone takes the ex-raider thing badly. it actually helps arcade feel better admitting to being an enclave citizen to cave. they both think their past is much worse then each others.
veronica takes it 2nd best out of everyone at like 30 minutes tops, and thats mostly because she was eating lunch with him. also the only one to really pick up on the fact that he would very much still be a raider if he still had his family and is pretty understanding of this. also fully prepared to play defense with raul and arcade if anyone ever finds out and takes it badly. dude gives her every pristine dress he gets his hands on and has her eternal friendship by now.
grandma lily took zero time to come to terms with it. she was fussing over him for whatever reason and he dropped the ex raider bomb trying to get her off his back for a minute and she said "its okay sweetie, you and your old friends all did what you had to to make it out there in the wasteland. no shame in that at all, grandma still loves you" and ended up making cave cry for the first time in a decade. raul had to take over cooking dinner for the group while he was crying uncontrollably. leader of the jimmy defenders.

Now, i'm no doctor, but i do know my ocs. Equivalent levels of knowledge involved.
While Novhen is normally grateful for any chance for a break, if he has any pre-established obligations, he'll still try to attend those as long for as he's able to move around. It's one thing to skip on reviewing some documents and another to postpone a meeting with someone's traveled from the other side of the arling because he's feeling a little down
Also of note:
Novhen would definitely profess the healing properties of pickled eggs. He would be less enthused about the whiskey method, but there was one time when he was sick that Kader made him take shots of it. He was out and about again by the next day, yes, but he swears it was the eggs that did it
Pavle demands a "me day" at the slightest sign of illness. He will be curling up in bed with a never ending supply of hot chicken paprika soup, thank you very much! He hasn't forgotten his pedigree, that much is for sure...
Radka will bitch and moan. She'll also continue to work through the cold for better or worse. (Worse. It's usually worse. Don't be like Radka. Kvetching is good. Typhoid Mary Simulator is not. Take care of yourself.)

🎮 what are three of your oc’s favorite hobbies?
reading and writing as one, even though most of what he reads and writes falls under his research and therefore is less of a hobby and more of his life’s passion. next is collecting, which again, is less of a hobby and more just a thing he instinctively does, but he would be miserable without all his trinkets and tchotchkes. and for the third, I’ll say… picking up and abandoning various other hobbies. some he’s tried over the years—gardening, ceramics, bookbinding, watercolor, pigeon breeding, glassblowing, woodworking, jewelry making… there are a lot!
🚫 does your oc drink/smoke? do they do it regularly, or is it more on occasion or for special events?
PROHIBITED! of course he drinks, he’s Frey. sherry is his favorite. he is a little snobbish about wine but isn’t too bad. I’m not sure if he smokes… if so, it’s only in social settings. a pipe with the cousins, perhaps.
🤍 what are three of your oc’s neutral/questionable traits?
hmmm. I put absent-mindedness for a negative trait but I suppose that’s more neutral! he’s just a bit forgetful and occasionally unfocused. he’s also a hoarder. aaand he’s a little squeamish about smells and appearances. he takes to adventuring just fine, but not without a generous amount of kvetching about just how gross a lot of it is.

Vice: takes an ice bath or finds Captain Cold and begs him to freeze everything
Lana: cranks up the AC and hopes it's enough
Berrie: if their powers are working, runs to a colder location; if they're not, eats his weight in popsicles
Aria: changes the weather
Salacia: visits Tuatlall in Atlantis (but she's from Themyscira so heat doesn't bother her much)
Tuatlall: has a temporary supervillain arc where she plots to take out the sun
L'Harann: she's half Tamaranean so heat doesn't bother her at all
Neila: stands in front of the refrigerator with the door open
Alana: tries to make the AC even colder and probably breaks it
929: doesn't notice until her mechanical insides start to overheat

Okay okay too much conversation but yes!!! I agree on all of those things!!! And yeah, I wanna do more art. I'm not bad at like... more abstract stuff, I guess? Like I can make nice skies and I've started working on a little eyeball and tentacles doe that I'm pretty proud of so far. But like... the human body eludes me and I wanna be able to draw people. I can draw dicks and boobs no problem, but literally Every Other Part of people is soooooo difficultttttt ;-; and I know I could take the time to learn but like... I wanna be good at it NOW!!! (imagine me stomping around like a toddler cause that's how I feel)

Imp… I must know, how do you feel about the popular headcannon of Pandora and Regulus being besties? 🎤
GOOD MORNING ANON, I JUST WOKE UP AND I'M READY TO HAVE OPINIONS ALL OVER MY BLOG.
I'm going to disappoint you with this one, though, because my opinion is that I don't care about Pandora and thus don't have any opinion on this fanon friendship 😂
I am actually not interested in any of the characters who don’t appear in the books, or who only get a one-line mention. Pandora, Evan, Mary, Marlene, Dorcas. Barty gets more than a one-line mention but he’s a Slytherin and we all know I don’t like Slytherins. Regulus is the only valid Slytherin and that’s because he’s basically a Gryffindor (hello, he tried to destroy a Horcrux and bring down Voldy as a teenager???).
But yeah, does Pandora even appear in the books, or do we only know about her through the wiki? I honestly had to look Mary and Evan up when I started seeing people writing about them, because I just thought that they were fanon OCs that everyone was writing about now. Marlene and Dorcas get mentioned once by name by Moody in OOTP, right, and then never again? Sorry, but I don’t have interest in characters that are basically OCs. I already write original fiction, where I have to construct a character from scratch. I’m not interested in doing it in my fanfiction writing too, and I don’t really care for other people’s OCs in fanfic.
If we actually do see any of these characters in books 6 and 7, sorry, I don’t remember those books because Sirius was dead and Remus was straight. They weren’t worth keeping in my memory, except the R.A.B. bits.
And I know I’m gonna have an anon in my inbox now complaining that we don’t see Regulus or James on page technically, either, but at least we know a good deal about those characters. I know nothing about Pandora or the others, so I don’t care about them.
And when it comes down to it, the only character I actually care about is Sirius. Am I interested in reading fic about Remus, Regulus, Harry, or James on their own, without Sirius there? No, I am not.
None of this is to say that people shouldn’t be writing about these characters, or shouldn’t be writing OCs in their fanfic! You can do what you want! But you came here asking for my opinion, and this is my opinion 😂 If you like reading and writing about the Pandora & Regulus friendship, I hope it brings you much joy. Sorry you have awakened my kvetching this early in the morning.

How does your oc handle being sick? Do they pretend not to be? Do they complain a lot? How susceptible to getting sick are they? - How humble is your oc? Or are they closer to royal in their self-perception? Why? Is this obvious to others? - How often does your oc lie? Why is that? What was the biggest lie they’ve ever told?

So for this I'm going to ramble about my Arrowverse OC, Siv, because I've been looking for an excuse to talk about her.
How does your OC handle being sick? Siv is literally the worst patient on earth. She'll deny being sick, push herself to the point of passing out, and then whine like crazy about feeling like crap.
Do they pretend not to be? Yes, she'll deny being sick to her grave.
Do they complain a lot? Siv is the Queen of Kvetching. Even when she's not sick, she whines about literally everything.
How susceptible to getting sick are they? Because of her powers, it's pretty unlikely that she'll get sick, but she still is able to, albeit very rarely.
How humble is your OC? Or are they closer to royal in their self-perception? Siv struggles with a lot of self-loathing, but she projects all that self-hatred onto others to the point that she almost has a God Complex.
Why? Her father was an asshole and basically gave her enough trauma to fill the Mississippi River.
Is this obvious to others? Not really. When people first meet her, they usually see her as a stereotypical campy villain. She's not really that evil, she's just mean.
How often does your OC lie? Literally every day.
Why is that? She is a supervillain. It is basically all she does.
What was the biggest lie they’ve ever told? Honestly the biggest lie of hers is the one she told herself- that she's responsible for what her father did, and that because of that she's fully irredeemable.
