System Collapse is OUT! I am halfway through! I still love Three more than anyone else, and if anything happens to it in the second half of the book I will CRY!

I decided to challenge myself a bit with this and draw it in its armor and with its open gun ports, which was actually not as difficult as I thought it would be going into it, because I ended up giving some of the inner mechanisms a bone-like structure (which I am super familiar with) so I had a lot of fun with it weirdly enough!

I am a bit disappointed with the way the effects turned out though. I’m not an effects artist and I have no idea what I’m doing in that regard, so it comes off a bit flat compared to the rest of the piece, but hey, at least I’m practicing.

I'm back and I'm not dead (yet)

I discovered Murderbot Diaries this summer and I finished book five and six about a mouth ago (I was devastated).

So I tried to draw the main crew for fun !

I really like the way I drew Mensah and Ratthi. The other are okay, I struggled to draw Murderbot because I usually see them with the armor (yes I'm very lazy for imagine them), but sometimes I make an effort and it turns out to be inspired by Markus from DBH- (hate myself for that)

Anyway, hope you like it ! If I can I will try to draw more stuff about the book because it s so freaking good and I love it so much

guess what I’ve been doing instead of anything I actually should be doing! plotting an AU version of a character, that’s what.

Re-reading the Murderbot Diaries and they’ve taken over my brain again,, was thinking about a few characters in that setting and it went downhill from there.

Meet this-AU version of Tel, resident feral cat of a person. Initially I was just going “oh huh very augmented human could work” then read over the passage of old-time SecUnits being made with bits of actual people instead of cloned material...

So yeah, basic premise is that Tel nearly died, there was a dead SecUnit nearby, and someone decided to :) recycle. Why pay out for a new SecUnit when you can just make your own, discount one!

A few months ago I saw a YouTube video in my recommended that immediately made me think of my favorite socially inept construct, and so I started work on this little edit of the thumbnail!

This has been half-finished in my drafts for a while now, but I finally finished it today! Editing a real photo was not easy and the seams are super obvious, but I’m still happy with it anyway lol
