Twilight princess Link and his not so redesign but rather the suggestion: what if he was robbed of his ability to always already be in a fresh hero fit after transforming out of the wolf form and either has to scavenge for something to wear prior to transforming or midna has to throw pants at him. I’m suggesting this cuz 1) it’s funny 2) it’s very funny 3) the combinations of dumb outfits that he could have 4) the mental image of midna yelling after the wolf who is still wearing pants

It's good. Really good. Great, even. Amazing, if you will. Excellent, perhaps.

But I can't stand hearing it described as "nearly perfect" because it wasn't. ATLA has flaws, and while the positives generally outweight the negatives, those flaws matter and are often overlooked because when the show works, it really works.

And then there's way the show side steps and nearly brushes off the crimes of Iroh, it's many struggles with writing romance, some clunky dialogue, framing and pacing, and don't even get me started on how they treat Azula and Hama. ATLA is a high quality show with a few missteps and an active fumbling of a major character. I don't object to the show being talked about in a positive light, especially because of a lot of the genuine good that it is and has done.

But we need to stop pretending it's perfect, or even near perfect. It's a fantastic show that deserves to be praised just as much as it deserves to be critiqued.

Slay the Princess is a really good game

there's ALSO hilarity potential in the princess luz AU w amity being like "okay. so he's your cousin on a technicality but like barely acts like your cousin and is basically your brother but you don't call him your brother and you guys are a lot weirder and clingier than i've ever been with my siblings but you're also definitely not lovers so what..... what DO you call him" and luz being like "he's just hunter :) he's my special little guy :)" while hunter, who's been listening to and watching this entire exchange bc he's around luz All The Fucking Time, is like [inb4 amity can say it herself] "i'm her pet dog. woof."

And in random OOC posting, I'm watching my husband play the new remastered Persona 3 in an attempt to understand the characters/fandom. This is what I've learned thus far:

He just made the Neko Shogun Persona and I love it, cuteness level high

Edit: He has now dressed the Ryuji of this game in a tuxedo because he found a random tuxedo and deemed the characters needed a dapper upgrade. This is one of the many reasons why we're married.

Edit part 2: I somehow missed that Spirit Hunter: Death Mark's sequel just came out and I must do the incredibly rare Rae thing and buy a video game. I wanted a sequel to NG more but I will take whatever Spirit Hunter I can get. This is your sign to play Spirit Hunter.
