I feel like dumping out my box of OCs like one would do a box of lps so very long post filled with very many doodles ahead!
Reference for my Rainworld oc, Lost! He's an idiot kid I made for one joke but now he lives in my brain. I think I made this reference for him last year? Idk I don't remember. I'm just now realizing that Lost snuck into my V2 characterization lmao.
Elysium art of various ages! Made between 2021-2023 I believe. This is the oc I made before I knew what Ultrakill was and everyone thought I was making an Ultrakill joke. Tbh if it wasn't for the fact that I MADE Elysium and have their early sketches I wouldn't believe they weren't an Ultrakill reference either. Speaking of which, here's some animations from when Elysium was both a quadruped and a model of robot instead of an individual. These were both made for a class in 2021.
VERY old art (2020 I think? I wasn't using my screen tablet yet) that I normally wouldn't include if it weren't for the fact my friends would explode me if I mentioned Elysium and Lost without mentioning Nerve. She was an anxiety-ridden warforged cleric who got tragically sent to the vampire realm. Whenever Nerve comes up in discussion one of my friends brings up how I made him cry with her final speech. I don't remember tf I said lmao.
Art of my His Dark Materials OC, Zurial! Art would have been made 2022 onwards. I made her WAY back in 2019 before Hazbin Hotel even had a pilot but unfortunately now she looks like a Hazbin angel and I feel weird drawing her. Which is really unfortunate because I love her dearly, she's one of my favorite OCs. She's also the only oc I have who I've made a plushie for. Why did my character design have to accidentally look like the works of famous youtube animator Vivian Medrano T-T
(here's her plushie btw. I'm really proud of it lol.)
Here's Niphit, one of my Warframe OCs! Some of y'all might recognize her as my AO3 pfp, but her design has changed since then. The bottom reference sheet is her most recent design. She's kind of conceptually similar to Baeri/Sleet/-31 from SftBT, in terms of hacking shit and having a snout and teeth. Biggest difference is that she is a whole ass hivemind, usually pretty harmless, and also considered pretty young.
Shameless CR:K fanchild OC. Her name is Golden Parmesan Cheese Cookie (Parm or Parmesan for short) and she's also, like, an AI copy of a dead person. Or a dead person's soul trapped inside an eternal simulation? Either way she's got SO many issues. I have a massive chatfic wip from when I decided to try writeing something with her.
Okay I know technically this is a Homestuck OC but I like to say she's a Hiveswap OC. Because I played Hiveswap and loved it but never read Homestuck. Anyways her name is Vintan she's a yellowblood.
Whoa an original character! Yeah this is Corion, they come from my brain. I have a whole story concept about post-apocalyptic robot cowboys (and human cowboys) that I've done a couple doodles from but never written down. Corion serves as a sort of living taxi, guiding or carrying people across the wasteland. They are a secondary protagonist, I don't think I have art of Pike and Amelia, the actual protagonists. One funny fact about this universe is it contains a character named V1 (pronounced Vi, still written as V1) who I can no longer use for obvious reasons.
But yeah! Ramble over! Not anywere near all of them I just wanted to talk about my brain children XD

BMARS Spoilers ahead!
So I was not prepared for today's lore.
First up, Stitch is... idk how to feel about that guy since idk much about them. (they're probably a bigger deal on MAFS, but I hardly watch that channel unless it's connected to the lore. although I think it kinda is??? idk that channel hasn't been my main focus).
Second, when I saw the notification from the discord server while grocery shopping, I felt my heart sank in a bit of panic, but luckily I was able to convince myself to finish the errands before watching it. So when I finally got around to my first watch, most of the time was just listening to Ruin and Stitch's conversation, not really trying to form any thoughts, more like just watching it fully before coming up with anything.
And then the phone call with Bloodmoon happened... And what Ruin said afterwards... tbh, I figured Ruin would find out quickly, so that's not a surprise to me. However, I'm very concerned and worried for them now that Ruin's catching on very quickly. (I had to step away from my laptop for about 30 minutes to allow myself to proper process what I watched before doing a bit of note taking. I felt the same exact feeling I felt earlier again after watching it for the first time, so that little break actually helped).
Over all, this is all very excited lore that's happening, and I'm really hyped to continue watching as it continues.
Note: I'll be rambling about my thoughts of today's lore out of order for the rest of this post.
Ruin warned the twins not to kill Bonnie otherwise there'll be consequences and it's NOT the shocker. I'm very positive that no one wants to see Bonnie getting hurt or killed, but unfortunately BM's probably gonna do that. But he did mentioned there's something else that BM could go after and kill if they wish to afterwards. I'm hoping it's not Solar, but knowing Ruin, he's probably talking about Solar. I honestly don't know who else Ruin could be referring to.
The twins are also tired of Ruin's bullshit (honestly mood). So far, they're doing an okay job at keeping their interaction with Solar a secret. Also... "don't know how to use a computer"??? I think Adapt (calmer, younger twin) meant that they both don't know how to use/work an advanced/fancy computer like the static TV. Like, I know their trying to continue acting the way they do, but guys, come on. Not THAT dumb! xD
As I stated earlier, Ruin has definitely caught up to the point where he knows he's being lied to. He even started working on changing his plans when it's just him and the mysterious other POV that he talked to (I'm guessing that it's us, the audience/viewers, but I could be wrong). I feel like he mostly likely will try to find a way for Bloodmoon to tell him what their plans are and what they're doing behind his back one way or another. And it won't be pretty either.
I hope Solar could help Bloodmoon as much as he can before Ruin finds out. And I hope Solar and Bloodmoon makes it out alive.

Hello! I was wondering, how do you plan fics? I remember reading Life is Not a Hallmark Movie and thought the storyline was amazing. So I was wondering if you could explain your process for outlining?
Hi! Thanks for the ask~
I wish I had a more helpful answer, but the truth is that I didn't have an outline for Hallmark fic. I published each chapter as I wrote it, without really knowing what would be coming in the later chapters. (There were a few notable exceptions that I could talk about in more detail in another post, if you're curious.) I've tried tons of methods of outlining before for other stories, and would consistently find that even if I was really excited about the outline, the characters just wouldn't behave according to my plans. If I forced them to, the writing fell dead in the water. Hallmark was sort of an experiment for me, to see what would happen if I tried flying blind. I was honestly shocked at how much easier it was for me to write when I didn't plan ahead. That said, I think there were a couple factors that helped me actually finish it:
I had a very clear intention of the feelings I wanted to evoke. That being, a story about two people who are very lonely in different ways, overcoming their hangups and falling in love. Bittersweet, but ultimately heartwarming.
I was already familiar with the structure of romance novels. So, though I didn't outline, I knew that the general shape of the story would be: meet cute --> characters grow closer --> point of crisis forcing the protagonist to acknowledge his feelings --> getting together --> some sort of betrayal/crisis that tears them apart --> reconciliation and true happy ending.
I had a lot of tropes to work with. Because it was a parody of a Hallmark movie, there were a few scenes I knew I wanted to include, even if I didn't know the details of how/why they would unfold. (ie, a fancy Christmas party, an airport reunion scene, etc.)
I JUST LOVE BINGQIU SO GODDAMN MUCH. Seriously, I just want to dissect Shen Yuan's brain, and I myself am already in love with Luo Binghe, so writing about falling in love with him was natural sldghidfgh
So, I had an emotional core, a general structure, key scenes, and characters I was madly desperately unhealthily obsessed with.
After that, I focused on storytelling principles. The first is always following a chain of causation. Another is the +/- method. These are useful for pacing, and keeping even simple scenes engaging. I love rambling about storytelling principles, so hmu if you're interested in a write up about anything!
I also had a document called 'vague future ideas' that was just that: either potential plot points or snippets of dialogue that were floating in my head. Some made it in, some didn't. I tried to keep it to short bullet points as much as possible, just a collection of vague things that could happen, but not getting too deep into any of them. This was mostly helpful in figuring out which things should not happen, tbh XD Like, at one point, I was thinking LBH would actually succeed at getting on the airplane, and there would be some sort of time gap, and rather than LMY explaining about LBH's past, SY would have to like, go on a sleuthing spree and figure out where LBH ran off to, and... uh, yeah, glad I dropped that in the brainstorming phase lol!
So yeah, sorry if that wasn't super helpful for the question you actually asked. But, as for outlining methods I used in the past, here are a few that helped me the most (keeping in mind that I tend to prefer looser methods, which certainly won't be the case for everyone!):
One Page Plotting, which is quite similar to the Story Circle
Both of these break down the story into 8 major beats. I find thinking about stories in quarters more intuitive than in thirds or fifths, so I prefer these over the 3-act or 5-act structure.
Flashlight Method
A nice middle ground between plotting and discovery writing. Probably best used if you're familiar with the conventions of the genre you're writing in to use as a mental map.
I also want to shout out Ellen Brock's youtube channel. It's a treasure trove of useful writing advice from an editor's perspective. If you're into really intensive outlining, I'd recommend her videos for methodological plotters. Her ongoing series on story structure is also wonderful.

Hello! Just stopping by with a question about writing XD Do you have any characters who's role grew bigger than you expected? Any surprising changes your characters went through during the writing process?
Hi! This ask is a week old! Sorry for that!
Tbh the obvious answer would be Asha and Dora, who really began as tools to facilitate the plot and developed into major side characters with an unhealthy, self-destructive romance. I've talked about them a lot.
But this post is not about them. We all know of the war lesbians at this point.
I wanna talk about General Edward Fallin for a sec. You might know of him. I refer to him exclusively as "Theo's brother".
In the WIP that existed in 8th grade that would later become literally unrecognizable and turn into "Devourer of Souls", he was a major character and I liked him quite a lot. I felt like there was something interesting that I managed to hit with his character.
(I really wanna make a post about this proto-WIP but I keep procrastinating -_-)
From one WIP to the other, he was the one to maintain the most character traits (tbh competition is nonexistent bc they all changed so much - literally not even genders were maintained). He's always been Reiner's (part of Flick) father, Theo's brother, and a Master of the Order devoted to his work.
But he's a really minor character. He only appears in 2 scenes: one in the first half and one in the second.
Allow me to ramble about My Boy for a bit:
Ed is a bad person. He's an antagonistic force (not necessarily an antagonist) and is in direct opposition to Theo from a military standpoint. He is responsible for a fuckton of deaths and outright says he's willing to hurt people himself if it gets him what he wants faster. He denounced his own sister to the Order when they were teenagers, leading to her getting a death sentence and running away, he ordered his men to break Seth's cane in half so she literally can't run away when they capture her, and he stabbed Theo through the shoulder the first time he saw her again. He vaguely talks like a pissed-off mob boss. Good people don't do this shit.
But that's the surface-level stuff. Because once you listen to what he's saying, you start to see something else.
For an antagonist, Ed has a weirdly strong attachment to his family. And not in a weird way. When Seth straight-up asks him "why tf are you doing this" he just says "Whatever it takes, I want my children to grow up in a world without war".
He knows he's doing bad things, but he's willing to do them if it means the war will end faster and his family will be safe. His motivation is 100% to protect the people he cares about.
But I ain't no basic bitch. I'm not leaving it at that.
He feels like an antagonist because he's being seen from Seth's POV. Flick's POV is very different.
Reiner (who is part of the whole that is Flick) is Ed's youngest son, and he sees him fully as a hero, as do most people in his country tbh. He admires him, even when Allana's soul joins his because of divine fuckery (not getting into the divine soul fusion fuckery rn).
And I mean... can you blame him? Ed is a super-competent general who made his way up the ranks at a very young age, led an army against two demigoddesses at the same time and kept the upper hand, won a fight against a demigoddess and survived, was the first person to push for a (temporary) peace treaty and managed to maintain it for 20 years, and constantly does everything in his power to keep that peace in place, even going against the will of the gods themselves.
That sounds pretty heroic to me - not necessarily good, but heroic. Hell, that feels like a protagonist's storyline, almost.
I'm all about that perspective switcheroo. Theo probably seems like a horrible person from Flick's POV, before meeting Seth.

Welp, today's the day I finally stepped on a scale after, like, I dunno, years probably? Aaaanndd well... that was a number I haven’t seen there before xd Which is both good and bad.
Bad because I gained a few kgs since the last time and apparently went over the healthy bmi and body fat amount (not by a lot, but like around 1,5 each), if the online calculators are to be believed, but it's also good in the sense this might finally give me enough motivation to kick myself in the ass and start moving goddammit.
I've already been trying to do some light exercises a couple times a week but maybe this will help me up the ante + I have, for the first time in my life, decided to try and count my calories intake. Which is... weird, lmao, but also interesting? I haven’t been eating a lot, tbh, and pretty much no sweets or snacking, I kinda grew out of it? So I guess most of my added weight comes from lack of exercise and maaaybe hormone changes. Ive been on and off the pill several times during the last year-two, currently off for a couple of months, so I think that could’ve thrown my body into alarm mode of gathering fat "just in case".
With the calories intake counting, Im mainly curious to see how much I get in the day when I eat as I normally do and if there's a reason for the weight gain somewhere in there. Like today Im already after dinner and I'll probably only make myself a light supper and won’t even meet the amount the app Im using calculated for me to lose the weight I want (5 kg for now to get back to the healthy bmi scale), so that's very interesting and Im wondering if maybe Im eating less on some days but more on others and that's also making my body "put away" the extra? I don’t actually know how all of this works, so Im just making guesses right now.
And the exercise part, ooof. It didn’t use to be so hard, goodness grace, Im Really out of shape. Tho, I guess the added kgs are impacting me too. Im starting slow, mostly stretching + some squats, some shorter video exercises, the kind. I know it'd probably help to make a regime, but that's only gonna make me miserable, so for now Im setting myself a goal of just Doing Something everyday and whenever I feel stronger, I'll just do more on the day. Otherwise the pressure I put on myself might kill any fun or motivation Id have.
This is pretty much just my personal rambling, which I might turn into a bit of a diary to help myself keep track and all (its weirdly easier to just type up a tumblr post than open up a notebook and write it down? Huh...), so like if anyone got through this whole post, damn, thank you, I guess, hah. If you have any tips, I'd be glad to read them! ^^

thanks so much for responding to my ask about Ryo x Minoru!! the stuff you wrote was so cute, especially the “this could be us”picture (I 100% could see Minoru sending that) also the idea you had of them kissing because they thought they were gonna die…your mind omg. I could also see them doing one of those “thank god we’re alive” kisses where they thought they were gonna die but when they live they’re so happy and that the other person is happy that they just. smooch lol
also I did see that other post you made about them and I loved it! but it’s funny that you see everyone being shocked when they say they’re together because I hc that they’d both be super obvious even when they try to hide that they like each other (esp Minoru, the word subtle isn’t in that boy’s dictionary). if either of them confided in Kaito for whatever reason, I can 100% picture him saying in the most deadpan voice, “congrats, you’re officially the last one to know.” I think it would specifically be obvious because they’d talk about each other all the time, even if it was about things that “annoyed” them and then trying too hard to play it cool by immediately following up with “not that I care about him or anything!!!1!” or something like that.
I just think they’re neat and I’m honestly surprised that there aren’t more people who ship them. like they spend a good amount of time together, they both have come running when the other one is distressed, and I also noticed that falcomon is the only kemonogami who can understand kunemon, and since the kemonogami represent their partner’s hearts, I feel like it shows that they both understand each other. also if Minoru gets captured by dokugumon in chapter 1, ryo will complain about Minoru being a pain, which makes Minoru mad, but falcomon reassures him that Ryo’s just making such a fuss because he was worried about Minoru (which Ryo denies and gets embarrassed over ofc).
on a less serious note, I feel like they would be kinda like those two old guys from the muppets once they start dating where they bond over roasting other people/each other. I also get reminded of them when I see that one post where it’s like “I had a crush on someone in my class and didn’t know how to deal with it so I just wrote a letter that said ‘get out of my school.’” like they both are soft™️ on the inside but have such a hard time expressing it.
sorry i totally rambled about them but it’s just nice to see someone else who ships this rare pair!! i wish more people enjoyed it/wrote about it! Get to Know Me_Sims Edition
got tagged by @olya-occult-lover and @van-yangyin, thank you for the tags :D I have a tendency to ramble so this is gonna be a long text post so feel free to skip this if you don't feel like reading.
1. What’s your favorite sims death?
Ngl, I personally find death iffy when it comes to playing Sims since I get way too attached to my characters so much that I never get past Generation 2 while playing the game with the Aging off. xD The most bearable death in the game that's okay with me would have to be the Drowning Death Moodlet since it reminds me of the first Sims game. (tho even back then I'd rather take care of sims than kill them at all) Any time one of my sims gets a dying moodlet, I internally panic and make sure that they evade death by all means possible. (I ensured each of my played sims have death flowers in their inventories as well as those different items that make them immune to death)
2. Alpha or Maxis Match CC?
Both! I never understood the war between the two styles since they're both just CC to me. Basically, if I like something then I like it. Both have their unique characteristics and their flaws. No need to match it with the game since no matter what one does, your character will stick out anyway thanks to the custom content itself. That being said, I like both as long as they aren't unnecessarily high-poly.
3. Do you cheat when your sims gain weight?
Back when I was a kid I used to, thanks to my own personal challenge with body dysmorphia so I never had a healthy relationship with weight. Now older, I don't have a problem with it at all with my sims since I now know it's just a normal part of life.
4. Do you use move objects?

Any mods from Gauntlet101010 and @baniduhaine :D I fell in love with Gauntlet's work through their Grim Reaper mods very early back then since no one else at the time catered to occults. And now, I really like baniduhaine's work since they also cater to a lot of things that occults really lack in-game (their occult bloodlines mods and plantsim mods are just <3 ) If you're a big fan of occults, please check out their work! They're really neat!

I remember buying Cat and Dogs first if I remember correctly??? Not sure tbh at this point since it's been a long time. But at this point, I prefer other means asides from buying now. If you get it, you get it ;)

aLive. I would liken it to how a reporter would say, "We're now live." Though I am unaware if there is a correct way of saying it in the first place. But if there is, feel free to enlighten me :)

...this is a difficult question... it's like being asked which one's your favorite child. So how can I possibly choose? But since that is not at all the case, and hopefully my characters stay fictional it would be the rundown of the following in no particular order: Pancakes, Bacon, Hamburger, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Mixed Berry Milk, Ice Cream (Cone), Sugar Cookie, Cow's Milk, Bear Burger, Strawberry Shortcake, Goth Burger, and... *proceeds to list the rest of the Food Sims Series Cast*

The main 3 traits I would give myself are the following: Creative, Perfectionist, and Geek. Extras that would be applicable are Dog-Lover, Family-Oriented, Socially-Awkward, and Foodie.

Whatever you call this hair color?? Also, I got carried away with editing so uhh, enjoy? (Yes in the photos are Pancakes and Chocolate Chip Cookie testing out the in-game hairs...and yes they do look quite cursed as blondes so I rather imagine them testing out wigs for a play or something.)

Despite its flaws in texture, it would be this hair from Dine Out. (It also quite suits Pancakes methinks.)

Typically Young Adult. I also don't mind Teen, or Adult. And when I do make Elders, I kinda make sure they don't die lmao. I was never that attached to the kids, infants, or toddlers life stages unless they're the love child of my Sims.
14. Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay?
Despite its non-existence, I was originally there for the gameplay then I got into building. (But since I poured all my efforts into CAS these recent years, I've forgotten how to build now smh)
15. Are you a CC creator?
I am :) though I mainly specialize in headgear accessories. I find it a necessity nowadays to know how to create my own Custom Content as I'm never content with my sims unless I reach what I envision for them. Not to mention the lack of CC that caters to my personal tastes which makes it even harder to stay as a simmer that is only a gamer. I guess I could say that I became a creator solely out of necessity. Though that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the process of creating. On another note, maybe one of these days, I'll try learning how to make hair or clothing since there are still concepts there that I wish was available for Sims 4.
16. Do you have any simblr friends/a sim squad?
Do my mutuals count??? There are a handful out there that I am very fond of although we never had a proper conversation. Then there are those that I did talk to and I apologize for the experience of talking with me since I am not very good at socializing asides from comments. I wish I could talk to my mutuals more but I become too nervous conversing in real time that I sometimes just nope out of the conversation. If this happened while we're speaking, it's not you, it's most definitely me lol

What Remains of Edith Finch, The Stanley Parable, The Beginner's Guide, The Sims, Cube Escape & Rusty Lake Series. (I mainly stick to narrative-oriented games or point-and-click adventures)

It changed a lot. I won't say that my style got better or anything like that as that would do past me a disservice. I think it's fairer to say that my style got more fantasy-oriented when I began to understand the available CC resources that I had. My Before Simstyle is probably around 2017-2020 while my current sim style is now 2021-present. Ngl, if I ever get back into actually playing Sims 4, I'd probably use less CC similar to my sim style previously.
One is not better than the other, it's just heavily dependent on what mood I feel like when I create sims.

I joined the Sims Community around 2020 I believe? Though at the time, I only stuck to the Sims 4 Studio Website. I think I've had this account since November of 2021 though I only started posting in January 2022. This account was only supposed to be a way for me to keep track of CC creators... I didn't expect to turn into a CC creator myself.
24. How do you edit your pictures?
I take photos using Geforce Experience while simultaneously using Reshade and CAS Lighting to achieve the best results. Then I go edit the photos in Photoshop or Canva. I also recommend using Nvidia Inspector to help fix the Graphics in Sims 4 to make it look better.
25. What expansion/game/stuff pack is your favorite so far?
Probably Cottage Living <3

Hi! Just wanting to talk about the Shadows Of Rose DLC!
First of all, your talk of it was amazing, and I loved how you analyzed it completly- amazing work!! I found you while scrolling through the tags for Resident Evil 8, and you've earned yourself a follow!!
Secondly, I'm a little on the fence about them turning Redfield into a villain. I mean, at this point of the universe, he has already lost his younger sister, Claire and her (Boyfriend?? Fwb??? What is Leon to Claire?? Tbh I've played resident evil but I just know Claire died? I didn't get too far into her and Leon's relationship, I only say boyfriend as that's what it seemed like in Resident Evil 2) Friend Leon.
He's also seen that most of the big organizations, The B.S.A.A, The Connections, Umbrella, can't be trusted at all since all three are connected due to the megamycete. Tbh, it's all but fair for him to become a villan- but a villain who destroys things that those three companies are doing.
I never really liked Chris in Resi evil 8 (Coughs awkwardly at the fanfiction I wrote) because he was basically just hiding things from Chris. Why the hell did he not tell Ethan before idk fucking kidnapping his goddamn child?? Oh, and not to mention this whole thing probably wouldn't have happened if Chris LET ETHAN HELP IN THE FIRST PLACE!!
Also, what idiot puts Miranda- a person you know can connect with the megamycete and you don't know if she's dead or not cause you used regular bullets- In the same van as the two people she was trying to kill?! If that isn't the stupidest fucking move known to man then idk what is.
So on one hand, yes, Chris deserves to be a villain cause he's been fucked over by the system. He's lost his sister and Leon and possibly many other friends because of Umbrella and the other corporations. I feel f
On the other hand, Chris is already a fucking villan. He betrayed Ethan's trust, he 'killed' his wife infront of him, he didn't tell Ethan about the entire plan until the end, and after Ethan died, he apparently didn't tell Rose nothing of her. That's a shit move tbf.
Anyways, sorry for just ranting, I thought it was interesting that Capcom would be making Vhris the villain, when he's already halfway twords being one.
My only hope is that he doesn't drag Rose in on this quest for vengeance or whatever it is lol.

Again, I have only seen gameplays of re7 and re8 (and played the main of re8 myself a bunch of times) and absolutely nothing else of Resident Evil in general so I don't know that much about Chris as a character. I tried to make sense of his actions in re8, even wrote a post about it, but this dlc really isn't giving me much to help. I don't even have any explanation as to why he'd put Miranda in the same van with Ethan and Rose in the first place, I'm guessing it was a second van? And she just killed everyone there and just attacked the other van that Rose and Ethan were in? Idk and at this point I don't know if I want to care XD
And yeah if you ask me, Chris did the exact opposite of what Ethan asked him to do. I saw so many people being like Daddy Chris! and I was like I don't know shit about him but it doesn't look like he's fit to be a good parent? Not exactly out of his own fault, like he has seen and been through a lot of tough shit, while trying to help kill bioweapons and focused on the greater good, and I understand the whole feels thing of him having someone to take care of, but if we're being a little rational here, he shouldn't be the sole custodian of a child who can potentially cause mass deaths if she doesn't feel loved enough.
Ethan said with his dying breaths that he wanted Mia to keep Rose safe, he wanted her to be with her mother, and what we got was Chris going like "I can use her to grind Mirander evil guys into paste!" and never reassuring her emotionally. Ethan got a few moments with her and it was all it took for Rose to accept herself, powers or not.
Yeah idk I'm not being here like hating on Chris or whatever, I'm just very between "They're gonna make him a villain" and "Should I care about him and be invested in him?" because on one hand it would make sense with all the writing choices, on the other I don't know if they're bold enough to make such a beloved character a villain. I don't know. Maybe they'll just go that way in re9 and we'll just realize we were being stupid for worrying XD
Never worry about ranting! As I said, the DLC touched me so much and I have SO many things to say about it, so I'm really glad when people prompt me to talk about it!

But actually, I honestly think it is less the comments/etc. than it is, like, getting to know other writers in the different communities and making friends? Which is...the interaction bit? So becoming friends with you and Belle and Cait through Roisa stuff (or Skylar through Agatha stuff) - and like getting to pop into people's DMs or discord or whatever and just rant and ramble about ships AND CAUSE EACH OTHER PAIN is. the best interaction I get from people who have read my stuff. ^^

No, it would - I've reblogged a thing about narrative distance recently, I think - yeah, this post - and my ideal fic would play with the concept of narrator as distinct from character POV so that you've got the narrator who's telling the story to you who can occasionally comment on things or speak directly to you, the reader, without it feeling weird, in a comforting sort of way.
But also the ideal fic would employ second person (kind of like in What Dreams May Come with Viola or in Finding Family with Agatha (when she was stuck in Agnes)), which I'm not sure is compatible with that sort of narrative voice....
It would probably include some super in-depth world-building but not, like, Tolkein world-building, but taking our world and making one difference and then extrapolating from there (like with the soulmate timer stuff).
It would be queer, but not necessarily lesbians queer (although there would probably be wlw stuff in it, tbh).
A lot of angst. A snarky anti-villain turned anti-hero. A woobie destroyer of worlds. Someone who has turned evil because of tragic past reasons. One character could potentially be ALL OF THE ABOVE. Like I have a character type and I acknowledge this. But also you're gonna have the mom friend. Not the happy perky sunspot but the, like.
LET ME USE MADOKA AS AN EXAMPLE.
THERE WOULD BE A MAMI, THERE WOULD BE A KYOKO, AND THERE WOULD BE A HOMURA. :D
...okay, in ouat terms.
There would be a Mary-Margaret Blanchard (but not necessarily Snow; I will maintain they are separate characters and I like MMB better) and there would be a Regina.
...uh, that's missing a character.
There would be a Dottie Underwood. She's the closest to a Kyoko parallel. xD
Lots of discussions of mental illness.
...potentially different versions of the same character - whether that's multiverse or time travel or clones or etc. (Or it would be a fairytale. Actually, the ideal fic would be a fairytale.)

storm i love you with my whole heart for that third question especially akhkjdgdhsf i have been. super busy lately, and i did not have the greatest weekend or last couple of days BUT starting at like 11pm last night i have been absolutely FANTASTIC so! it evens out i guess!
1) yes yes yes omg!!!! i love embroidery the most, ive been doing it since i was really little. and i have like. very basic knitting and sewing abilities, nothing fancy but certainly functional. i actually have never needle felted before tho!! i would love to try sometime.
2) i mostly do not—my parents didn’t allow them growing up, and now most of them just. are not fun for me because i don’t have the baseline experience needed to enjoy them lol. but i do like to get the free phone versions of certain games—i have the free phone app version of the sims and of animal crossing specifically, and tbh i suspect i like them more than i would like the normal versions of the game anyway XD
3) AAAAAAAA OKAY OKAY SO. first of all if d&d counts the campaign im in rn is SO delightful and good but i’ll probably just make a post rambling about that some other time.
i am also working on figuring out the plot for a new novel!! the main characters are brian (he/him) and xeno (they/them) and they are both aro (brian is aroace and xeno is non-SAM) and they are qpps, and they are both autistic and brian also has adhd, and they are very much the "sunshine character and grumpy character" dynamic trope (brian is sunshine and xeno is grumpy), and they just graduated college, where they were roommates for two years; xeno was an accounting major, and brian is a wizard.
brian’s whole family is magical and also super fucked up; their thing is like. they save the world from terrifying magical threats. but they don’t always win, so the strategy is just to have So Many kids that it’s okay when some people die because someone else can step in to save the day. so brian (who is the fourth out of nine kids, plus has tons of cousins) was raised with the mindset that his life didn’t really matter and that he was expendable; he fully expects to be dead before he reaches 30.
and while his family is mostly okay with queer stuff, brian coming out as aro was super rough, because he came out to give himself an “excuse” for being like “i am not comfortable with getting a life partner or having children, because that would mean i would be bringing people that i love into this family, which inherently puts their lives at risk, and i could not bear to do that.” (which. is not actually connected to his aromanticism at all, it’s bc of how his family is, hence coming out being an “excuse” for that so he wouldn’t have to admit the real reason.) so since then brian has been a tiny bit disowned bc the family has a HUGE expectation for everyone to get married and have kids ;-;
but then he met xeno!! and for a while they did not get along at all, because brian tends towards hyposensitivity and xeno tends towards hypersensitivity so their sensory needs often clashed, but then they figured it out and started to get super close and ultimately entered into a qpr. and for a little bit it was the happiest brian had ever been and he was able to just be himself without anyone expecting things from him. and it was so so good. i love them.
and then brian’s family shows up to bring him back into the fold. specifically, his older sister and brother, who are both. super manipulative and emotionally abusive. and brian goes along with it because like. he really doesn't see that there even could be a way out of his family's control or any other choice that he could make but to obey. so xeno, who is absolutely FURIOUS about all this, accompanies them on the magic adventure that brian's family summoned him for, even though xeno really dislikes magic generally and REALLY dislikes brian's family.
meanwhile brian's older sister has lowkey identified xeno as. a target. with the idea being that if she can convince xeno to take up magic and join the family, it will cement the family's control over brian through xeno. and she's definitely being super amatonormative about it too and refusing to acknowledge that their partnership is not at all like a typical romantic life partnership. xeno haaaates her.
so!! so ultimately the outward story is that there's a big old save-the-world magical adventure with wizards, and meanwhile the inward story is for brian about realizing that his family is super fucked up and abusive and he needs to leave, and for xeno i havren't talked about the stuff leading up to it much here but for them in addition to trying to help and support brian, there's going to be about a lot of personal growth stuff relating to how they distrust magic (which ultimately is going to be a symptom/metaphor/something for a lack of self trust) and learn to fully lean into their own power and own all the aspects of themself, and they'll wind up saving the day because they can provide an outside perspective when it seems like there's an either/or choice to be made with the magic stuff, and be like "actually there can be a third option because i said so, and im going to make that third option exist by incorporating my personal skills with what i've observed about magic to create it" and just. it's going to be so good. im hyped.
then for ts fics, there are several in the works but they are all big bang fics so i think i probably should not say super spoilers rn. but one of them is the logince fic i told you about ages ago that would take place in the same au as that anxceit oneshot i did, and im very excited for it, and the other two are both canonverse and super angsty with unhappy endings (one is abt the split and one is abt how virgil left the dark sides) and i am being so mean about it but also im having so much fun ahsdjklfhglsdg

Ya know what time for me rambling cues i have alot on my mind today
Okay so 1 i got an allergy test today and turns out im allergic to nothing(not food wise cues they couldn't do a food test), EXPECT FOR DUSTMITES??, WHICH ARE WEIRD BUG THINGS THAT ARE VERY RARE WERE I AM CUES IT DOESNT GET HUMID ENOUGH FOR THEM TO APPAER, so uh yeah that's weird, anyways 2 i dont post about shorts wars on here but imma ramble about it, so me and unknown like to discuss stuff about shorts wars on discord mainly theories, and i never make those theories public cues im anxious and most of the theories people didnt 100% agree with at the time and i wasnt about to get insulted on tumblr, so me and unknown kept those theories private, but i realized me and unknown usually predicted the sibling parts of the series, like johnny and the boss being brothers, and slightly recently despite not 100% being confirmed(yet atleast) clone riggy and normal riggy being brothers, tbh for me that theory was more of "hey they act alot like siblings" and now THEIR ACTING EVEN MORE LIKE BROTHERS SOO IDK IF I SHOULD USE THAT AS PROOF OR NOT, and now i guess this goes into point 3 but i've somehow predicted alot of things, like idk if anyone remembers this but awhile back when i was really into watching the sun and moon show, when earth was introduced everyone insulted her, while my first thought was "earth and lunar show?" i think i worded it different tho like lunar and earth show but, a couple months later THAT BECAME AN ACTUAL CHANNEL, I ENDED UP PREDICTING A WHOLE NEW CHANNEL, LIKE W H A T, i havent predicted anything else yet but if i do then uhh, idk actually maybe i'll just say im a psychic or something, anyways thats mainly it this ramble is way longer then usual XD

as someone whos dabbled in exploration, lets say, i absolutely get the statement giver here TT. its just completely different to be alone. like sure i like people and going around with them would be nice, but being alone is just unique.
