Godzilla, in Godzilla vs. Megalon (1973), imitating the lead character of Kogarahi Monjiro (Monjiro of the Cold Wind), a very popular television series at the time.

Monjiro was a toseinin (wandering gambler) during the Edo Period who always had a long toothpick in his mouth.

GODZILLA (1973) X-PLUS DEFOREAL (RIC)

I've made it no secret that I love the early 70s Godzilla, and it is my favorite iteration of the character for straight-up nostalgia. He had such a personality, fighting style, and friends. He was a hero and even had an evil mechanical counterpart that he battled to close out his era. He does look like a muppet, but that's fine with me. I wish there were more merchandise on this version of the character, but I'll take what I can get. X-Plus delivered the goods once again with their Godzilla 1973 Deforeal.

This figure is the RIC-BOY limited release, and it comes with interchangeable parts with a different arm and lower jaw. The telephone pole used as a toothpick and the branch as a katana was from promotional shots taken as an homage to the Kogarashi Monjirō TV chanbara series, which was popular then.

always baffled by the older students in nintama being presented as these cool awesome upperclassmen who know everything when they’re like, 15 at most but that really is how high schoolers look to you when you’re ten years old

#i say cool and awesome which they ARE but theyre also total losers wearing a trenchcoat labeled i have everything under control (LYING)#which is also to be fair exactly how i thought i was when i was like 13 so #quirinahscreams #like when youre a kid and you have older friends or older friends siblings theyre like the coolest people in the universe to you #which is pretty on brand for nintama but then you get an episode centered around the upperclassmen #the 5th years vs 6th years saga was my favorite arc though because everyone is appropriately very goofy #but also theres fight scenes it's awesome. i think monjiro blocked a strike with his abacus which was kinda funny #watch nintama propaganda

Thinkin' about being sweet Tanjiro’s yandere gf and everyone seems to see it but him. The frightening glares you send over his shoulder. The iron-tight grip on his haori when the prospect of splitting up is introduced. And the poor boy’s neck is so covered in marks and bites it looks as if he’s been mauled. Others have tried to bring it up with him, but he won’t hear any of it, too smitten with you to see your obsessive tendencies.

“Your mate is kinda scary, monjiro…” inosuke grumbles to him in a rare moment you’re apart, and tanjiro only offers him a confused tilt of his head.

➤ when he sees you in an uncomfortable situation he’ll try and fight the person who is making you feel that way “FIGHT ME! FIGHT ME NOW!!”

➤ on valentine’s day when you got him chocolates and flowers he ate them all but saved you all the heart shaped ones (while feeding them to you ofc 🫶)

➤ his gifts to you on valentine’s day was something, special but something. he gave you two rocks, one of them was shaped like a heart almost. and the other has a green tint to it (you love this one the most cause it reminds of you of ino’s eyes)

➤ believe it or not he will give you compliments sometimes like “You look pretty.” but underneath his breath ofc

➤ whenever zenitsu asked for your hand in marriage inosuke would buff out air from his masks nose and chase him around this always had you laughing

➤ inosuke knows you like gentle and he is NOT gentle so he really tries to be gentle with you so please give him credit he try’s not to hold your hand too tight or kiss you hard although he does want to

➤ from time to time inosuke will try and do something romantic for you like pick you your favorite flower or grab you a tiny animal from the forest as a pet (you tell him to put them back in their homes lol 😆)

➤ on dinner dates if they get your order wrong he will ask them to bring you what you ordered and he will literally look at the food until it’s just what you wanted

➤ when you two are making out he will subconsciously hold onto your hand, he gently squeezes it while you intertwine your fingers with his

➤ he absolutely loves when you peck his cheek he thinks it’s sweet and will ALWAYS have the last kiss

➤ ino will try to impress you either by showing off some of his cool movements or saving small animals like this one time he saved a baby bird from falling out its nest to impress you and show you he can be gentle “You see that Y/n?!”
