The sun shines brightly across the clear blue skies, the soft chirping of the bird's song echoes throughout the neighborhood.

The patter of bare feet slapped across the kitchen floor, running around hastily as a young girl start opening many...and many cabinets, looking for something hidden inside.

"Ugh, now where the heck is that flour...I could have sworn it was here..." Letting out a grunt, moving on to the next cabinet "Ah!"

Inside the wooden space lay a small sack, seemingly untouched "Found it!" You hummed happily, reaching inside to grab the sack of flour

Closing the cabinet behind and went to grab the baking powder in one of the kitchen shelves, "Aki, can you get the butter from the refrigerator? Make sure it's the unsalted butter!"

"Sure" Grabbing the butter from the refrigerator as he turn his head towards the girl rushing around the kitchen counter, carrying some ingredients in her arms "is that all?

"Yeah, and oh! Don't forget to wear your apron" You said while placing the ingredients down on the counter "You can borrow my dad's apron, it's on the hanger next to the oven on your right"

"Alright" Akito noted.

"Okay, I think we got everything, right?" Standing in front of the kitchen counter before you are various ingredients such as flour, sugar, milk, baking powder, unsalted butter and vegetable oil.

You cheered "Now we can start the cooking!"

"Why do I have to do this?"

"Oh come on, you know it's for our school festival, it's not that bad"

"And how do you expect me to trust that you wouldn't do anything stupid?"

"Hey! I can be nice once in a while too"

"... almost never" He smirks.

"I can't believe you!" You whined, puffing your cheeks up "Just trust me this once please?"

He stare before sigh in defeat "... Alright"

"They actually do look good" Akito smiles proudly at the sight of a very fluffy pancakes sitting nicely on the white plate, looking very delicious to devour "We are missing the syrup, where did you put them anyways-"

He paused himself when he felt the weight of powdery all over his hair. Akito reeled back, surprised and stared at the culprit in question: you

Oh, it's on.

Before you could act, Akito grabbed his own handful of the white powdery and start throwing them at the girl, letting out a squeak in surprised when it's successfully hitting her cheek, covering her face in white which he laugh "Oh hello, miss clown, lovely weather today?"

"Oh, why indeed, it's a nice sunny day outside, isn't it mister popsicle, lovely hair you have right there by the way!" You looked at him with a playful smile before taking more flour and tossing it at the male.

"You ask for it!" He hide behind the counter for cover and plan his next attack.

...and the next few minutes, the room is filled with laughter and running with the floor and counter being covered by a large amount of flour. So white that they can see their own footprints tracing behind them as they continue playing their cat and mice game.

“Okay, okay you win!” You raise up your hands, surrendering.

"Are you sure?" He stood up from his hiding spot, walking towards you cautiously.

He was so focused on your face that he didn't notice the sweet and thick liquid on the tip of your fingers. Good.

"Yeah, you can see I don't have anything on me right?"

"Hmmm..."

When he was close enough, you took the opportunity to smears the syrups on his nose and cheek which he stagger backwards in surprised "Wha-"

"Hehe, aren't you a sweet one?"

"Why you little minx, get over here!!"

"Nah uh!" You squealed as another heap of flour hit the back of your dress, trying to make your escape but you were easily cornered with his arms around your waist and...

"Noooo!! Stop!!!"

You start laughing uncontrollably as he started tickling your sides up and down "Okay, okay, okay I surrender!! Just please stop hahaha!!"

“Promise?” He asked, narrowing his eyes at her.

“Yeah, Promise so please!!”

"Alright" He remove his hands slowly as you take a few moments to breathe.

The whole kitchen is a complete mess as if a tornado just come in and ruin the place. The poor pancakes are probably cold by now...

"This is going to be a pain to going home like this, I hope you know that"

"Aww, don't say that, you were so into the fight too, you can't lie to me!"

"Shut up before I kiss you"

-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈ Aftermath...

"(name), we're home! What do you want to eat for dinner to-WHY IS MY KITCHEN A MESS?" The older man was staring in disbelief at the white powdery covering the room as his daughter was awkwardly standing there.

"Oh hey, mom dad...I can explain..." You mumbled under your breath. Uh oh.

Akito bow his head "I'm so sorry miss and mister (surname), I did tried to stop her from playing around with the flour"

"Oh dear..." Your mom sighs, disappointed.

"(name), you're going to help me and clean this up" Your dad said, rolling his sleeves up.

"WHAT? Mom Dad! He is lyingggg, he was playing around too!!"

"Now now, don't bully your own boyfriend now"

-Does it through showing you attention because he usually seems very aloof and so by showing you specifically some attention, Alhaitham is subtly telling you that he cares about you.

-Even though this attention might just be him listening to you ramble about something for longer than 10 minutes, it means a lot. His actions are louder than his words will ever be in the relationship.

-Also moving you to the other side of him when something possibly dangerous is happening on the side of the street that you're on. He just wants to be able to protect you from it if it becomes a problem.

💐 - what romantic acts will they do for their s/o?

-He loves to cuddle up to you in a dim room lit by candle light and read a good book. It's romantic enough to him and he doesn't mind if you read along with him or just fall asleep.

-Alhaitham will also get you flowers randomly and put them in a vase in your room. He doesn't leave a note or anything but you always know they're from him.

🌧️ - how do they spend rainy/snowy days with you?

-Inside with a good book (if you like to read that is). Or just napping if that's what you'd prefer. If you specifically wanted to spend time with him on a rainy day then he might just set aside his work.

-You both finish at least one book or, maybe just he does if you end up falling asleep. He doesn't really know too many activities you both can do so it'd be up to you to think up some.

-By giving you special sort of treatment. She gives you special or well, different treatment than anyone else. She loves to have you all to herself and it's obvious.

-She isn't as dramatic around you as she is with many others and will only do so when she feels you're not giving her enough attention. It's not subtle that she does want you to look only her way sometimes.

💐 - what romantic acts will they do for their s/o?

-Furina isn't particularly a romantic person and so it'll be very rare to have any sort of romantic act happen that's coming from her. She's not really sure how to 'do' romance.

-Closest thing you'll get is likely her taking your hand and kissing your knuckles with a loving look in her eyes. She'll deny anything you say about it afterwards, not wanting to feel flustered.

🌧️ - how do they spend rainy/snowy days with you?

-She stays inside and clings onto you the whole day. There's no reason to go outside while it's pouring rain so you should just stay inside with her!

-Maybe you'll go somewhere to watch a play or something similar but she'd really rather stay inside. It gives her an excuse to stay and cling onto you and so that you give her attention!

-Through her actions, it'll be easy to tell that she loves you. She's always brushing up against you and touching you in whatever way she likes.

-With this, it's how she shows that she cares about you and how she gets her point across with it. She likes to dance around saying it straight up so this works better for her.

-Wrapping an arm around your should or hugging you from behind when she sees you on the streets of Liyue just shows that she loves you a lot and always wants to be right up against you!

💐 - what romantic acts will they do for their s/o?

-Romantic acts from Hu Tao will be out of the blue and when you least expect one. She thinks it's more fun this way, keeping you on your toes!

-It's partly an excuse for her because she's actually bad at thinking of something romantic to do with you...

-But, she still tries her hardest! Maybe getting a few silk flowers and giving them to you to put in your home to remind you of her. It's probably the most romantic thing she could think of and even then it's pretty light hearted.

🌧️ - how do they spend rainy/snowy days with you?

-It likely doesn't snow in Liyue but, when it rains you both usually stay inside as to not get soaked. Hu Tao prefers to play games with you if she's able to!

-Board games, card games, etc etc. Whatever you both can think of, you'll play it. She thinks it's a good way to pass the time and it's fun! Maybe even inviting Zhongli if you both feel like explaining the rules to him.

-If you do decide to go out in the rain, it'd only be for a little bit and when it's not raining too hard. She'll splash in some puddles, getting you even more wet when she does. You both will be going back inside shivering...

The lush colors and vibrant hues of the blooms coming together, creating a stunning landscape, the smell of the flowers combined with the bright colors has the power to fill one’s heart with joy as the soft breezes pair with the buzzing of bumblebees to create a peaceful and serene environment.

One can often get lost in a field of flowers, or partake in a peaceful moment of reflection. Sunbeams course through the sprays of petals, while the tinkling of birdsong fills the air. A field of flowers is a sight to nurture the soul and behold with awe.

The vibrant display of flowers covering the ground from bold purple, blue and white flowers sat right in front of you. If you listen close enough...there was a faint sound of busy bees rushing around to collect their pollen. The sweet smell of blossomed flowers filled the air, the purple petals felt like soft velvet against your skin.

Sitting down on a field of beautifully blooming flowers was you and your beloved, humming a melody happily as your fingers carefully try to pick which flowers to use for your crown.

"You seem really happy" Kazuha smiled, watching you happily picking your flowers.

"Of course!! You brought all of those flowers for me" Your eyes sparkles, picking an assortment flowers with soft flexible stems then separating them to two types; one are with long stems, the other are with shorter stems.

"Okay, since this is your first time making one, I'll be slow with the instructions"

"Alright"

"You know how to braid?"

"I fear not"

"Okay, watch me" you grabbed three qingxin flowers with the longer stems, crossing them over each other slowly "Braid them together by taking the stem from the outside right and placing it between the other two"

Taking the stem from the outside left, placing it over the other two, continuing this method until you get the width of the flower head before adding another qingxin flower by laying it, the stem rests on top of the center stem.

You keep on braiding the stems, holding the new flower stem together with the center stem and repeat until you get the desired size of the flower chain. Once you were satisfied, gently placing it above your laps.

"I hope it wasn't too complicated? It's hard to explain it in words, I usually just watch my mom do it for me when I was a kid until I get the hang of it" Turning to look at your lover who was crossing stems after stems, creating a similar chain of flowers.

"Like this?" He hold up a neatly flower braid once he was finished from braiding the flowers which took you by surprise.

"Ohh you're a fast learner!"

"I only just observe what you did"

"Not that fast though!!"

Kazuha let out a few chuckles as you keeping on giving him praise after praise, clearly impressed by his observation skills "What is next after this?"

"Oh, so you want to grab the end of the chain and braid the remaining ends before tucking them in near the start then ta-dah!" You held up your creation to demonstrated "Your flower crown is done!"

"Hmm..." He was staring at you with a serious look in his red eyes.

"Kazuha...?" Confused by his stare, you were getting slightly flustered by how intense it is.

"Close your eyes"

"Uh...okay..?"

Shutting your eyes closd, darkness greets you as your ears pick up ruffling movements from the platinum blonde samurai.

What was he doing...?

Then you felt it.

A light weight was placed on top of your head and before you could open your eyes, a soft and warm feeling cause you to freeze up, touching your forehead as a whisper reach your ears "I hope we keep doing this for many years to come...we may be far from each other when I'm traveling but I'll come home to you near the end of a journey..."

You opened your eyes at this, only to be gifted by the sight of a slightly flustered samurai, chuckling "Oh, Kazuha..."

Your laughter was the question, he wanted to spend his whole life answering it...

It's almost Christmas day.

It was the middle of December. Christmas was just around the corner. The time of year where on the streets of whole nation is filled with Christmas specials and everyone is on good spirits.

You were watching TV after having dinner, you were starting to get into the winter spirit too when Emu made an unexpected suggestion.

"(name), let's write letters to Santa!" Pink eyes sparkle, holding up two papers with its decorations being Christmas theme "It's be fun!"

"Oh? What brought this up?" You asked, curiously scanning the papers in front of you. The paper was covered with a cute little red and green Christmas tree pattern, little snowman and snowflakes one the other.

"It's just that I saw a lot of kids are writing letters to Santa and they were having so much fun so I want us to try writing our own letters too!"

"This does sound like fun! Okay, let's do it"

Taking the paper from her, you starts writing but then something about the situation was giving you a strong sense of deja vu "Ah, that's right! I remember, didn't we used to do this back in elementary school?"

"Done!" She exclaimed, holding her letter up high in front of her.

You look at her in surprised "Woah, that was fast?"

"Hehe, I already know what I want before we start writing!" Emu stood there proudly as if she just won a prize which you couldn't help but smile at her child-like spirit.

"(name), can I use the bathroom?"

"Oh sure, it's on your left"

And so, Emu walked towards the bathroom.

yahoo~! sorry for the short notice but I'm here with a big announcement for pjsk fans! now if you happen to notice our pinned post mentioning afflicted with @virtualbookstore ...you probably wondering who is that? well it's a network blog for pjsk!

I was looking for a pjsk network but to my surprise, there isn't one? so I thought why not make one myself so we can support each other through this network.

WHAT IS A NETWORK?

It's simple! a network is where we will reblog each works to the blog, it's a way of promoting your works and readers can use this network to go through the works working exactly like a library would be. We will also promote your artworks if you apply for the artist role instead of writer (you can apply for both if you happen to be both, just say so!) you can read the rules in the network blog if you want more info.

NOTE!

the application for new members would not be open to the public until 1st January (excluding the people who I recruit on a short notice) since Christmas is coming soon and it's a busy season!
