You can hear what is eerily similar to glass shattering from behind a nearby wall before the Stranger reveals them self within a doorway, empty handed other then something wrapped up in their hands. They begin kneeling in front of the death bound soul in front of them, attempting to meet him on his level, a show of respect and kindness

Hello Catnap, little nightlight that you are, I'm gonna do two things here. One is that I'm gonna give you this sandwich. I heard about what the staff are doing, and you deserve to not Starve, no matter what anyone demands.

The second, is that I'm gonna have a Talk, possibly violently but maybe not, with your caretakers. Your currently conditions may not get better right away, but I promise you that they will. The only sign you can find is shards of glass(?) on the floor, yet no source they could have come from remains in sight. Someone, or possibly more, are supposedly looking out for you, but also seemingly threaten the Hour of Joy itself with their own.

Fresh fish also secured.

I forgot you can't fish in "frozen ponds" (like what... it's a river???? and does it look fully frozen to you? and also ice fishing exists?) so I had to commit some temporary global warming to make this happen. But it was worth it.

Oh, on one last thing about ask and interaction;

Are there rules on to what subjects to cover, who can interact with who (Muse Pokémon with the Mews, Anon/Humans with Alex, etc), and a "Do not interact" section?

Anyone can be asked questions, but the mews are not super likely to interact with random humans (especially anons) if they act suspicious.

I guess my only true rule is to please keep it PG 13. I don’t want to do anything inappropriate.

The mews not appearing to chicken and treats is because they thought it was a trap. Ryo has a bit of human-related trauma and has taught his family about human traps and tricks. Politely offering berries and treats is different from the methods used to get a pet cat to do what you want. Mews don’t trust people who shake treat bags to lure them over. (Chippy does). If the original asker had offered to give instead of lure, the whole thing would have gone differently. Personally, I answered with Chippy and Gale because that option was the most fun to me!

I thought Chippy being lured in by the food would be funny! The ask said “floating cat” and did not specify mews. Hoppip (especially endemic hoppip) are partially based on cats and float. They are “floating cats.” Gale only came in because the ask specified “in an empty room,” and the only building on the island is the station. A random stranger in the building is a trespasser, and Gale takes her job seriously!

I’m relatively new to the interaction side of tumblr, so there’s not really a “do not interact” section. Just the characters will interact and react in ways that match their personalities and characteristics. I want to make sure my characters are consistent and realistic.

Want to hug Gale? Sure! You may get some goodra slime on you! Want to put Chippy on your head? He’d love that! (But he will really mess up your hair). Alex canonically understands Pokémon so there’s no barrier there either!

At the end of the day, if an ask goes to far, I won’t answer it. (I want to answer all the asks, but I don’t want to do things like fetishes or inappropriate material. No thank you. Please let me have my happy mew family.)
