Subscorp Fic Rec List

Please mind that all of these, unless stated otherwise, are rated Explicit. Also these are just works that I've read! In no particular order:

Pretty much anything by FreakensteinXIII is guaranteed to be a certified banger. Right now, they currently have an ongoing fic titled "Simple Pleasures" that's meant to be a sequel to their first MK1 Kuai/MK11 Hanzo fic, "Always You" (Both rated Explicit). Highly recommend! "War of Hearts" has the typical MK11 old man yaoi pairing that we all know and love. In this, Hanzo deals with his internalized homophobia and strong denial as he and Kuai start a "friends with benefits" relationship that turns into something more. It's explicit though so again, please mind the tags if you read. Runningfromthefeels is another great author, especially when it comes to their angsty works. "This High Love You Give To Me (Dripping Down My Hands Like Honey)" I particularly like for touching on a tense moment between Kuai and Hanzo in the MKX comics that never gets addressed between them again in canon (and also because there's a humorous setting in the fic too.) Went Looking For A Creation Myth (Ended Up With a Pair Of Cracked Lips) is an excellent and touching time loop story with a happy ending where Kuai Liang has to find a way to save not only Hanzo, but also all of Earthrealm.

In the shadow (of a broken house) by McBethins takes place in the MK Legends universe. It goes into depth dealing with Hanzo and Kuai's emotional states as they try to move on from their grief while trying not to let their past drag them behind. I have not gotten a chance to read their other Subscorp works yet but it seems like they have quite a few that I'll definitely look more into. SeventhStrife has some great tasty fics that they made for Subscorp week a few years back. Bunny Night is a modern AU where Hanzo works at the library by day and as a sex worker by night. He meets Kuai Liang by chance one night at his second job and things escalate from there. Vital places the two in a "fuck or die" situation. Also Hanzo bottoms so that's a plus just for that alone lol.

Summertrap's works are especially excellent when it comes to writing the pair in different AUs and they have loads and loads of them. Your Ransom Has Been Paid With Seven Pomegranate Seeds is a Greek Mythology AU that bases the two off of Hades and Persephone. (Not explicit, SFW!) For Anyone But Me, Your Private Eye is an AU where Hanzo is a Private Eye, investigating his family's unsolved murder while being forced to team up with his biggest suspect's brother.

Do you think the Demon Bull Family will enter the plot again? I think a lot of parallels between MK and Red Son have come around this season and it'd be interesting to explore

Oh please share your Red Son and MK related thoughts with me! I'm not quite sure what you're talking about specifically, but of course the DBK - Wukong / Red Son - MK parallel is always fun.

I don't think the Demon Bull Family will ever be shoved out of the plot entirely, at the VERY least we'll get something like how they were integrated in s4, but with Wukong, Macaque, and DBK all being previous members of the brotherhood I hope we get to explore their relationship a bit more!

I hold onto my crumbs, and so I remember Wukong's little "I've honestly missed that guy" from Revenge of the Spider Queen, and maybe deep down I want that to be explored. It seems like we're going to get into why Wukong stayed up on flower fruit mountain for all that time, and part of that might involve why he sealed DBK away/his feelings on that whole situation. And honestly if DBK is involved, then Red Son is involved. Red Son's admiration for his father is very similar to the admiration MK has for Monkey King, so maybe there's something to be explored there!

i saw a post ab this on this tumbleweed website and figured I’d slap together a quick list. All of the works I recommend are on my AO3 bookmarks but I know some people don’t use it as a primary fic source. So, i’ll link some here i think everyone should give a gander!! They are primarily Moon Knight (of course) but I also include some personal faves from other fandoms under the cut that I think are just fantastic storytelling. Ever since I got that lovely anon asking for the best smut I've ever read, it got me thinking about some of my favorite smut creators in general.

So here is a very non-exhaustive list of fan-fucking-tastic smut writers and artists I've come across in the HP fandom that weren't mentioned (shamefully) in my last batch. Feel free to add to the list! We must keep the people fed.

Lord Espooky came into this fandom guns a-blazing with their kink headcanon a day for Wolfstar and it has spiraled from there. They GET IT. He has a super well-organized masterlist pinned to his tumblr ft tons of different kinks, fic lengths, scenes, etc. Go. Now.

The definition of IYKYK. Daddy kink isn't super my thing, but Five makes me enjoy it. If you vibe with age gap daddy Remus and pretty boy Sirius, their Adore series is a must-read. They also have a stellar A/B/O Wolfstar fic plus podfic and write some Marvel too!

Also MK is reading "To Kill A Mocking Bird" by Harper Lee. One of my favourite books to read aside from Sherlock Holmes. I dunno where that book is now. Might be in the storage books.

A/N: Sat on a few of these fics for ages because I'm overthinking them, but thought 'ahhh, I need to post them now in time for the event!' Having a deadline is very helpful.

Warnings: Reader experiencing some sensory issues, Jake reading smutty books, overuse of italics, typos, not beta read, rail-road sentences, please let me know if I've missed a warning!

Word Count: 801

Your phone buzzes on the bed. The drone is muffled slightly by the pillow it’s under. You finish fixing your outfit in the mirror and sigh.

The material was ever so slightly wrong today. Normally it was fine, but now the feel of it just irritated you. But this was the seventh outfit you’d tried on and honestly if you were going to make it to the restaurant by 8pm, even with Jake’s ingenious driving, you had to leave now.

You pick up your phone, glancing at the screen as you unlock it.

One message.

From one of your friends you were meeting up with. Probably something along the lines of ‘see everyone soon’. Usually you were excited to see them. They were some of your oldest and dearest friends, and you loved their company. But today it just felt off. Getting dressed up and going out. Eating at a semi expensive (for your budget anyway) restaurant that you didn’t even like that much. Putting on your ‘social interaction face’. It all just seems far too exhausting.

Your eyes widened as you read the messages on the group chat.

‘Can’t make it, stupid traffic at the tunnel! Been stuck for 50 mins and haven’t moved!’

‘I can’t either, babysitter fell through!’

‘So sorry everyone, maybe it’s for the best, I’ve got a horrible headache and was gonna power through, but maybe it’s best if we reschedule?’

The last message had you at-ted.

‘It’s that okay with you? Sorry you let you down! <3’

Relief floods your veins and you hastily type a, ‘no worries, let’s reschedule’, adding several happy face emojis out of paranoia that your message could be misread, before you wish everyone well and to have a good evening.

Jake hears you throw your bedroom door open, but doesn’t glance up from where he’s slouched over your armchair reading. It’s one of those bodice-ripping paperbacks from the 80s with the fabulously illustrated covers. Jake’s guilty pleasure. While he knows that Marc and Steven wouldn’t care, and most likely wouldn’t be bothered at all by his reading choices, he also very much does not want them to know. A feeling he’s sure he should try to unpack at some point.

But that was a future Jake task.

Which is why he’d taken to either hiding them behind the cistern in Steven’s flat or keeping them at yours, tucked neatly on your bookshelf (with your permission) behind a row of your books.

“You ready to go amor?” He asked as he turned the page.

You bounded over to him, ripping your stupid, itchy top off in the process. “Excellent news!” You stopped in front of him, smacking your hands onto the armchair for emphasis.

Jake didn’t even flinch, half absorbed in his book and half used to your dramatic flare.

“Oh?” He glanced up at you and paused, a small frown of interest crossing his face. “You don’t have a top on.”

“Exceptional observation skills Lockey.”

He smirks.

“Guess what?”

“You’re embracing a new life as a nudist?”

“The meal’s cancelled.”

“What?”

“The meal’s cancelled. You know cancelled, as in not happening.” You grin.

He gives you a playful look and swats your upper arm softly with his book. (His middle finger pressed inside to keep his page.) “I know what cancelled means, why?”

“Traffic, no babysitter, and headache.” You list the reasons as you count them on your hand excitedly.

He smiles. “Really weren’t feeling it today were you?”

“How could you tell?” You say playfully.

“Well, you kicking the door open to tell me was a good give away.”

You laugh.

“Plus, you really were leaving it pretty fine to get there on time.” He slips his bookmark between the pages and puts the book down on the floor before inching forward, he wraps his arms around your waist and gently pulls you into his lap, giving you plenty of time to step back if you wanted to. “I know how much being late makes you anxious.”

You snuggle up to him, wrapping your own arms around his shoulders and kissing his cheek. His day old stubble rubs against your skin. But this sensation is comforting. Like home.

“So you letting it get to this time without us going, or without you telling me off for reading instead of putting my shoes on.”

“I don’t tell you off.” You grumble, your words muffled by how your mouth is pressed against his neck.

Jake laughs. “Playfully.”

You tut affectionately. “Alright, playfully.” You adjust your position on his lap, getting comfortable.

“So, what do you want to do tonight?” He presses a light kiss to your temple.

“Hmm, how about… pizza and you can read some of your smutty book to me?”

He laughs again and kisses your lips. “Sounds good.”

All the 2023 contestants were born in 2007 and grew up with the show being off the air, so they were all 100% in the trenches of ship drama in the td fandom defending their ships. Here's my 100% correct do not @ me headcanons for each characters favourite ship.

Priya: Zoke, she was put on some block lists because she said she shipped all of Mike's alters with Zoey and no one else. Her parent's grounded her and made her watch Vito x Anne Marie edits as a punishment.

Bowie: If Gwourtney has a million fans, he's one of them. If Gwourtney has five fans, he's one of them. If Gwourtney has one fan, he's that fan. If the world is against Gwourtney he is against the world.

Millie: Thinks it's incredibly problematic and childish to ship real people. But Bawn.

Julia: Got her first taste of internet fame by claiming Blainely and Chris were in a secret relationship. When this comes out this will cancel her worse than the dinosaur thing and she will be forced to go into hiding for her own protection.

Emma: Wrote poly drama brother buys you from your parents fics. Chase read these out on a live stream and they stayed together.

Chase: Not a shipper but was defending Duncan with his last breath over the love triangle stuff.

Zee: Zee hasn't actually seen the show he thought he was auditioning for 6teen, in which he ships Judesy.

Ripper: I don't know whats telling me this but Leonard and Beardo. I think he saw a photoshopped image of them together with red arrows and he's currently convinced they're in a relationship.

Wayne & Raj: Lyler is unironically relationship goals for them, they celebrate their anniversary every year

MK: Commented under Noco posts "Uhm, what about Nemma?" and then watched the world light on fire. Ships Nowen.

Scary Girl: She unironically thinks Sierra is really normal but doesn't ship her with Cody because she just doesn't like him, thinks he fumbled her. Ships Heatherra, Bowie sent her death threats over this and she sent them back

Nichelle: Runs in the same circles as Chris, saw Chris and Chef together all the time despite Total Drama not being on, just assumed they were partners.

Axel: Shasmine anti, thinks Jasmine is gaslighting Shawn about the zombie stuff, wrote a long angry reddit post about it and got banned from the total drama subreddit.

Caleb: Gwent, also got death threats from Bowie and tried to @ Gwen and Trent to come to his defense.

i have less than 24 hours left before i have to go through one of the most stressful days of my life so. heres a list of my fav radiostatic fic recs in no particular order

clarification: by radiostatic i mean fics where vox is 100% not the dom in the relationship. most of these dont contain explicit sex though, and im not recommending any straight porn fics here because you can easily find those with a click and search through the bottom vox tag lmao

notes: one of my favourite fics ever on god. started my brainrot for dad!husk, portrays one of the most scrumptious radiostatic dynamics and is generally so very well written that i might end up trying to recreate one of the scenes in comic form. genuinely in love with this fic and im so glad i can say i was the first comment on this fic because my God its such a treat to see new chapters drop for this. unfortunately i havent had the time to write out a detailed comment as of now but if someone wants to let the author know that im still in love with their fic and will continue supporting it until i drop dead go ahead for me

(So I’m working on some blog improvement stuff- if anyone has a moment to do so, I’d appreciate if you took a moment to fill this questionnaire out! No pressure, of course- and I hope you enjoy the headcanons!)

History is often said to repeat, and those words have never been proven truer to MK when he sees you wandering up to the bright sign of Pigsy’s store. He wouldn’t usually be too concerned by a child’s fascination with such a bright and colorful light, but in the middle of a freezing rainstorm, wearing so little clothing? You’re absolutely filthy, covered in wet leaves and mud, a sorry sight made all the sorrier by your scraped legs and forearms.

MK races outside to meet you, only to stop dead in his tracks when you cower away at his hasty approach. He steps takes a step away and kneels down, leveling himself to your eyes. The delivery boy spends a few minutes coaxing you towards him with soft words, promising you safety and warmth if you come inside with him. Eventually, you accept the hand he offers to you, unsteadily allowing yourself to be lifted up and brought into the store.

MK freezes for a moment, struggling to sort through the list of what he needs to do for you, what tasks to prioritize. You’re gaunt to the point that your ribs push against skin, so you need food. You’re freezing and soaked from the rain, so you need a change of clothes. And you’re caked head to toe with what looks like half a forest floor, foliage and soil crusted all across your body.

A bath first, he manages to decide.

It wouldn’t do to have you sitting miserably in a puddle of filth as you ate, and changing your clothes is moot without cleaning you.

MK hauls you up to his apartment, trying his hardest not to jostle your frail body- and though he manages to avoid any outright collisions or trips, he stumbles quite a few times with the awkwardness of carrying you. But eventually, the shower is in sight and you’re sat gently on the tiles, left to trace your finger through the shallow grooves. Your newfound hero scrounges around for everything he needs, coming back to you with an armful of shower supplies. Without hesitation, he spills them unceremoniously onto the ground and starts the water.

Although you flinch away from the sudden and somewhat loud spray crashing down towards you, MK places a hand your back and rubs it to calm you down, testing the warmth of the water. Once the shower heats up, he gently nudges you forward.

You stare up in wide-eyed awe at the torrent of warmth, sitting neatly on the shower floor as the metal faucet drenches you. Biting back a chuckle, MK watches the gears spin in your head- you’re clearly having trouble making sense of the showerhead, of all the perforations through the shiny steel, of the lever that changes the spray settings. Have you never had a shower before?

Oh.

This must be your first one, MK thinks to himself, slowly reaching forward to peel away your filthy clothing. He has no clue how old you are, but you’re definitely at the age where you should know about showers and baths- or at least be used to them by now.

With a slight grimace, MK tosses your old clothes right into the trash. No point in trying to salvage them, not when the fabric is soiled through with grime and tattered to a net-like state. He’ll give you something from his own closet later to make up for it.

In spite of being hyperactive and somewhat flighty, the delivery boy does a surprisingly good job of washing you up. It takes nearly an hour to scrub away all traces of mud, and he spends nearly as much time afterwards brushing out your hair, plucking out enough twigs and leaves to build a garden.

By the end of it, you’re somewhat presentable, wrapped in an old Monkey King pajama set that MK never got around to getting rid of. The colors are worn and the fabric is abraded to softness, but the sleepwear is cozy and warming regardless. In particular, you fiddle with the stuffed tail sewn to the back of the pants, admiring the still-soft plushness between your hands.

You’ve quickly grown accustomed to the feel of MK’s hands, warm and quick, built with a touch of muscle. They’re the gentlest thing in the world right now, scooping you into a cradled form and carrying you back down to the cozy noodle joint. He almost sits you down on one of the cushioned stools, but something in his mind starts screaming to keep you close.

Cooking noodles with a child in one arm proves a little too hard, so MK shifts you around to his back and allows you to rest there, your arms wrapped carefully around his neck. You’re holding tightly enough that you do slightly impede the movement of his arms, but all the end up finely chopped and prepared anyways.

He leaves out several of the usual ingredients to make the dish more palatable, reducing the amount of veggies and spice the noodles would usually have. It’s nothing new to him, helping Pigsy make adjustments for custom-ordered meals. Instead of savory veggies, he makes you dumplings with cheese filling, hoping you’d find them easy to eat and keep down.

MK takes a seat before placing you on his lap, ready with a few napkins to wipe up any spills.

Between the two plates, you reach for the dumplings first, drawn by the enticing smell of freshly cooked savory bread and sweet cheese. He chuckles when you stuff the first one down your mouth, watching a little bit of cheese drip from between your closed lips as the dough bursts and coats your mouth with gooey cheddar. MK lifts the napkin to clean your face before pulling the noodle bowl towards you- and then laughs when you stuff a hand right in to grab a fistful.

Thankfully, MK had the foresight to drain the broth after cooking the noodles, allowing them to cool quicker. It also prevents you from spilling hot liquid across yourself, which he’s very glad for now that you’re wrist deep in noodle, eating right from your own clenched hand.

A warmth bubbles up deep inside his chest, blossoming out through his skin in ripples- the feeling of doing good for the sake of good. Just seeing you stuff down the noodles and dumplings is enough to bring a smile to MK’s face.

Enough to wash that addictive heat down his spine and through his veins.

Maybe he shouldn’t take to the police station just yet. And it might sound heinous; if you look at it from the angle of keeping a child from their parents, but- you were starving! You were freezing! You were running around in tattered clothes! You don’t know the first thing about stranger danger!

Whoever it was that was taking care of you was clearly not doing a great job!

So maybe, just maybe… it’s okay to keep you? MK certainly thinks so. He’s not too wrong with the points he raises, that you’re a victim of something, whatever it is. Neglect, starvation, abandonment, name it. You need to be saved, he quickly decides.

And what does a hero do best, if not save people?

Yandere MK - All Call for the Tag List

(Details below the moodboard)

I have received a request by @burnincrown to make a yandere!Moon Boys fic. For those who don't know, Yandere is essentially an obsessive stalker who will stop at nothing to have you. Some even dive into the "if I can't have you then no one can" side of things (to be clear that's not going to happen here).

More details below the cut:

I have been excited to work on this, but was on the fence about posting it on Tumblr. Originally it was just going to be an AO3 exclusive, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and post it on Tumblr after all.

That being said, there will be the following dark themes: Stalking, non-con, somnophilia, rape, mentions of murder, drugged sex, kidnapping, manipulation, dacryphilia, threats of physical harm, copious amounts of sex, copious amounts of unprotected sex, and more. This is a Dead Dove Do Not Eat situation.

It's one thing for me to take a typically "bad" or "evil" character like Kylo Ren or Blue Jones and make them do heinous things because...they're already pretty evil (you kinda know what you're getting into when you read those, especially where Blue is concerned), but this is different as I'm taking good guys and making them very, very bad.

Please also keep in mind, I'm on the side of write what you want, and read what you want. If you are uncomfortable with this type of content, I will be using the tag "tfm yandere fic" if you'd like to block it in advance. This fic is meant explicitly to be for entertainment purposes and explore a kink in a safe environment. It does not mean that myself or anyone who enjoys it is evil or condones this sort of thing in real life.

Just like with the Blue fic, I'm going to do a tag list JUST for this. It's going to be a 3-4 part miniseries that I update when I'm able to. If you want to be tagged YOU HAVE TO TELL ME.
