Some of the participants were National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, Minister of Heritage Amichai Eliyahu, Likud MK Ariel Kelner, Samaria Regional Council Head Yossi Dagan, Bezalel Smotrich, Orit Strock, Amichai Eliyahu and Yitzhak Wasserlauf, Haim Katz, Amichai Chikli, Shlomo Karhi, and more on top.
A huge map of Gaza hung on one of the walls with the names of the Katif Bloc settlements that were dismantled during the Gaza disengagement in 2005; alongside them were the names of planned future settlements. One of the organizers said that dozens of families had registered for each of the six groups planning to settle in Gaza.
It's an intentional fucking genocide and ethnic cleansing. As if there was any actual discussion about it, but just in case.
At a caucus meeting, right-wing Israeli lawmakers offered advice like 'in the northern Gaza Strip we first have to conquer, annex, destroy all the houses.' Every time someone mentioned the resettlement of Gaza, loud applause erupted
"This event must end in a way that resounds everywhere in the Arab world," he said, adding that in the West Bank, "among the Arabs of Israel, in Syria, in Lebanon, everyone must see what has happened to Gaza and understand that this is the last thing he wants to happen in his life."

She didn’t want to worry about anything else, not with Ricinus being the way he was – she shuddered – or the fact that he was a clone of Belladonna’s dad. But they could be friends, at least. That sounded nice.
My rewrite:
He was cute, but she was not admitting that. She supposed they could be friends. Anything further was uncomfortable, not only because of Ricinus being... well, Ricinus, but because he as a clone of Belladonna's dad. They could be friends-- and the more she thought about it, the more it appealed to her.
That was right. Friends.

When Ariel was little, he liked to play dress up.
Up to this day, he wasn't certain why. There was something about dresses that made him feel good, making something like happiness bubble up inside him at the mere thought of wearing it. There is magic in the beauty of the fabric flowing down his mother's body when they went to church, something that made him wonder exactly how it would feel to have that fabric against his own skin.

Annon-Guy: I'm curious about something.
What are you thoughts on Akame ga Kill!?
Specifically it's story and the main factions, Night Raid and Jeager.
Both have sides with likeable characters (well, barring Stylish, Surya and possibly Esdeath), to the point people get mixed about who they like and don't like with both sides killing each other off to where by the Manga's end, only four Night Raid characters and two Jeager characters survive.
Especially with the Author saying Night Rai are not good people despite the story showing otherwise with the the fanbase disagreeing with the author.
Considering your views with Guilty Gear, I was wondering what you thought.
(No Anime plot here, just the Manga plot as that's the canon story please.)
I only have vague recollections of the anime and a few chapters of the manga, so you'll have to forgive me if I don't give you a solid response from this.
I think the largest aspect of this series was the fact a lot of characters were killed off in the most violent and absurd ways possible... and even the main protagonist kinda got the short end of the stick if I remember correctly.
It's not exactly my cup of tea, to be honest... Though I think the main difference between the Manga and Anime is that the Protagonist does or does not survive their battle with a certain character.
Even as I am a fan of games like Mortal Kombat and Guilty Gear... the offshoot of that is that these games also try to make characters that aren't always "Evil" all the time... and even in the cases of the ones that are Unethical (like Ariels or Happy Chaos), they are still very philosophical and have a backstory you can comprehend.
From what I remember, a lot of the characters in Akame ga Kill were either very insane, very blood-thirsty, or if they were victims in any form, they became twisted because of some reason or other.
I understand that characters like Esdeath are popular for various reasons... But those "reasons" don't exactly appeal to me personally.
Compared to characters in MK or GG, they aren't as "insane" at first glance as some might consider... and even for the most blood-thirsty characters, there's a bit of light humor scattered about their character that fans have come to find appealing (like Shao Khan's relationship with Sindel, which is popular for some players).
I guess, if I had to give a broad stroke opinion of this series... it simply appeals to people who aren't me.
If you're gonna write a villain or an anti-hero... my take is that they should at least be given some fair treatment and not thrown in the gutter for most of the plot only to make a "partial rise" on the last episode or chapter they're written in.
Compared to someone like I-No, who has a past, a reason, a plot, a role, a stage, etc... and I think I've made my point.

On the one hand, Itamar Ben Gvir is just about the MK most likely to advocate for policies that would make the situation around the Temple Mount worse. On the other hand I feel like the Palestinian/Jordanian position on the Temple Mount is so ridiculous (portraying any sort of Jewish presence there as an "invasion" and hardcore implying if they're not outright stating that the Temple Mount has no siginficance at all to Jews or Judaism) that I feel it needs to be called out. I just really wish it wasn't Ben Gvir doing the calling out
I've always found it worthwhile to ask people to really examine the cruelty and loathing behind that "status quo" - the idea that Jews must be banned from praying there, that no Jew should ever walk there, that Ariel Sharon walking there was worth starting an intifada (that wasn't when or why it started of course, but it was the line they went with).
But very enthusiastically fuck Itamar Ben-Gvir. After his order for Israeli cops to pull down Palestinian flags, this government can't collapse soon enough. Every gain Israel ever made, people were flying that flag and it never changed anything. Now he's like LOOK HOW SMALL AND FRAGILE I AM, LOOK WHAT A PETTY AND PERFORMATIVE AND FRAGILE MAN SHAPES OUR GOVERNMENT, and people will very much take the message from him. A judge said barely 2 months ago that they can't ban the flags, so this is also a setup for some vice-signaling fight with the court system.
The performative cruelty and fragility of this government's approach to Palestinians, Arabs, and LGBT people is going to set them back years. It is sickening and I can't stand to read the coverage of it anymore. Am earnestly hoping this government lasts even shorter than usual. I hear April is a nice month for elections.

You know what, I think Marc and his alters would make good mermen. Their body is beautiful, the different personalities lead into the duality of the sea. Curiosity from Steve, Marc's neutral and Jake's darkness. Like a mixture of Ariel and Ursula.
Oooh I think you're right! If I didn't have a boatload of stuff already in the works I might be more up to tackling something like this, but I'm sure with Mermay here, someone will work on MK merboys :)
