So I'm the dumb-dumb who forgot to include something major and super obvious in my original ask for the ask game, so I'm back!
So... just like I told Salty, I seriously loved how my own idiots invaded your brain, and I just adore the two lovely gift-fics you wrote for me- Wandering Hands and The Desired Effect! These definitely rank alongside Lawless for my favorite fics from you (#1) and fics that I've reread before (#12), for obvious reasons XD
Also tying in to something I mentioned in the ask I sent earlier- that idea of capturing the common, underlying thread, even if the presentation is different. I think that applies perfectly here too! I love how my idiots feel just like them in your pieces, but presented in your style- familiar and different, and endearing all the same! I loved them!

I kinda love the contrast of the new ocs you made: there's this nice looking pretty lady with fabulous hair.....and then Look At This Sewer Gremlin (affectionate, pls don't take this the wrong way I like both designs just thought this was funny love your art!!)
Pfft that's okay, it's a pretty good description of Chouma; he absolutely crawled out of a sewer to slorp the blood of any butterfly/moth he sees.
(By that I mean DO NOT WEAR butterfly themed things around him, you'll die. Unless you manage to break the thing in front of him, then he'll just stare at you blankly for a second, before wandering off to slorp someone else's blood)
Erena's hair was tricky and I went back and forth with the color for a while before landing on the greenish bluish one she has.

what's with the blog change?
Are you talking about how I deleted my old account and moved to this one?
The answer is rather simple: I was being harassed by an anon for the longest time, my "Turn off anon asks" button was broken and maybe worked once or twice, and eventually the hateful asks turned into a straight-up death threat. I just decided to delete the account so I could distance myself from that, then returned when I felt that it was safe for me to do so.
If you want to see the actual posts, my friend @mikaharuka pretty much eviscerated the anon with every ask post, so just search "Evil Anon" on her page. And while you're there, why don't you check out her Ao3 page as well? She writes absolutely fantastic Twilight-based stories, but she's built her own fandom-blind friendly world up to like 10-15 stories all by herself. The Winter Lightverse is incredible, and I recommend everyone read it. As Mizuka will tell you, it only contains roughly 2% of canon, the rest is all her!

One: Kagayaku Kisetsu e is a Japanese adult visual noveldeveloped by Tactics, a brand of Nexon, released on May 29, 1998 on Windows PCs. The erotic content was later removed when the fame was ported to PS1
The story follows the life of Kōhei Orihara, a high school student who has fun spending time with several girls about his age, while at the same time he is gradually being drawn into a mystical alternate space known as the Eternal World.
Story The story revolves around Kōhei Orihara the main protagonist. His father died when he was very young, followed by his younger sister Misao and finally his mother. Deeply depressed he goes to live with his aunt Yukiko, his mother's younger sister, about ten years before One's story begins on November 30, 1998. After he meets Mizuka Nagamori as a child, Kōhei begins to seclude himself in the Eternal World, a world within his mind.
MOTIF
The game's main recurring motif is a focus on the Eternal World, a mystical alternate space which is never clearly explained, and the details of which are unknown. Shun Hikami's remarks in the original game are possible clues about the Eternal World.
ETERNAL WORLD
The Eternal World is a place similar to the afterlife where a person's "other self" awaits. Anyone can access it, though it is only accessible once one has lost his or her grounding in the real world.
It may be necessary to form a pledge with someone in the real world as a guide to the Eternal World, but one's memories surrounding the pledge become vague. A grace period can be granted between when the pledge is made and when someone goes to the Eternal World.
Once the process has started, nothing can prevent someone from going to the Eternal World, and returning to the real world is difficult.Someone about to leave starts to be forgotten approximately one week before going.
However, he or she is remembered the moment that person returns. If a strong emotional bond is established in the real world before leaving, a person in the Eternal World can be returned after approximately one year. .
The Nakigt his type of a story is designed to have an emotional impact on the player and make itself memorable, crying is usual but mostly optional.
Was popular enough to fund two OVA adaptations, a 4 OVA Hentai, FOCUSED on the story with few skipable sex scenes near the end and 6 OVA SFW. In a way both adaptation complete the visual novel, but we never get a full answer to why this events happen.

The developers at Tactics created a simple formula for a game: a comedic first half with a heart-warming romantic middle followed by a tragic separation and finally an emotional reunion formed what is known as a "crying game". The main purpose of such a game is to make the player feel for the characters and make them cry due to emotional scenarios which serves to leave a bigger impact on the player after the game is over.

Fizzy Drinks and Marbles
“It’s called ramune,” Kanao said as all of her juniors ooh-ed and aah-ed at the bottles they held.
Inosuke held his bottle up to the light, observing the way light refracted through it.
“I’ve seen these before, but I’ve never had the courage to buy one myself,” Senjurou murmured while cradling his own bottle.
“How are we supposed to drink it?” Genya asked, turning his bottle back and forth.
“Watch.” Kanao undid the plastic seal at the top then used a tiny bit of plastic to press down on the bottle’s top. “You push the marble capping the top and-”
Klick! Fzzz!
“Gyah!” Zenitsu yelped and clutched Tanjirou’s shoulder at the sudden clatter. “Th-that sound! What’s wrong with the drink?”
“It’s called carbonation,” giggled Kanao. She held up the bottle to show everyone the bubbles forming inside her drink. “It isn’t dangerous. I actually think it makes the drink quite fun.” Kanao gave a closed eye smile. “Is everyone ready to try it themselves?”
Everyone nodded.
Klick! Klack! Klick! Klack! Klick! Fzz fzz fzz fzzz!
Tanjirou, Shizuka, Genya, Senjurou, and Zenitsu opened their bottles with no issue.
Krack!
“Inosuke,” Shizuka grumbled, “you’ve got to be—”
When everyone turned to check on Inosuke, he held the ramune marble in a bloodied hand and a shattered bottle in his other, also bloody, hand.
“Ahahaha! I got the little ball thingy!”
Senjurou paled in horror. Genya stared in silent confusion. Zenitsu face-palmed. Tanjirou shook his head, disappointed. Kanao had a towel on hand, though this wasn’t the purpose she anticipated using it for. Shizuka let out a sharp yelp. Inosuke looked back at them, his head tilted in confusion.
Once she had calmed, Shizuka set down her drink and inhaled deeply. “You idiot, you aren’t supposed to get the marble out!”
Despite her getting annoyed, Shizuka went to Inosuke. Shizuka picked out the glass from Inosuke’s hands and cleaned his wounds while Kanao left for bandages. After Inosuke’s bloody hands were tended to, everyone sat down to enjoy the ramune.
“It’s sweet,” Shizuka commented flatly, though a faint smile was on her face. “Citrusy too.”
“Is not bad,” Genya said then took another quick sip. “I see why it’s popular.”
“My mouth feels funny…” muttered Senjurou with a hum.
“I feel kinda sophisticated drinking this,” Zenitsu added to the commentary.
Tanjirou licked a few drops of the drink from his lips. “You have great taste, Kanao!”
His words brought a blush to her face as she answered, “Why thank you.” She paused. “Hopefully Nezuko will be able to enjoy this in the future.”
Shizuka noticed Inosuke frowning beside her. Quietly, she scooted closer to him.
“What do you want, Mizuka?” Inosuke grunted, turning his red face away.
“You should try some too, Inosuke.” Shizuka held her bottle out to him. Inosuke shifted. “Hm… Are you afraid? Are you scared that this drink will hurt you?”
Inosuke whipped his head back around and met Shizuka’s eyes, glaring. “Give it here, underling.” He more or less took the bottle from Shizuka himself then drank from it.
Shizuka leaned in to gauge Inosuke’s reaction. “So what do you think?”
Inosuke reached into his pocket and procured the marble he had gotten earlier. “Here.” He placed it into Shizuka’s hand then closed it into a fist around the gift. “You earned this.”
Heat enveloped Shizuka’s hand and crept up her arm to her face until the very tips of her ear were red. She tried to come up with a retort but just stammered incoherently. She didn’t even know why she was blushing over something so trivial.
Shizuka and Inosuke’s moment had not gone unnoticed. Tanjirou smiled at the sight of the normally belligerent duo being so tender. Kanao and Senjurou both blushed from second-hand embarrassment. Zenitsu stared on jealously, with wide eyes and a dropped jaw. One of Genya’s eyes twitched, his big-brother instinct kicking in.
That afternoon was a rare moment when these youths could simply enjoy themselves. The sun shone upon them. It was like the monsters that came with the night didn’t exist. And maybe, if they worked hard enough, they could rid the world of those threats once and for all. But for the time being, they were kids sharing the joy of a fizzy little drink.

Heya Mizu!
So I was going to make you choose between two things but I couldn't come up with a decent second option so instead, here's a hypothetical.
If you could... be taken over by absolute brainrot and exceptional writing flow and spend the next year working on nothing but Apricity all the way to its completion, and be really genuinely happy with the finished piece.
BUT...
The tradeoff is that your brain has absolutely zero space for writing other stories, fandoms, verses etc; no exchanges/prompt challenges/fests. Your usual online presence remains the same, you can still chat with your friends, read and comment on fics etc and you can socialise and meet IRL commitments as normal but your entire creative output is focused on finishing that story.
Would you take that offer?
Would I take that offer? More like I would practically beg for it XD
No, but really. It's more than a bit annoying to know exactly where Apricity is going story-wise, down to the details and nuances, but because of my own brain, IRL stuff, and some specifics about the execution, be left unable to finish for now- especially since it's been 15 months since the most recent chapter in Midnight-14 went live!
And oh man, that trade-off is especially appealing to me right now, because I finally started inching ahead in Indigo-15 just 3-ish weeks ago, even if it's just a slow crawl for now. I'd love for that to turn into a full-on dash, and it'd be amazing if I made it to the end within a year, considering I expect the final work to go well beyond 500k words!
Of course, I still love all of my other ideas and fandoms, especially a few more as of late like Ace Attorney, but if dropping everything else for a year meant having this 600k+ word magnum opus of a rewrite off my hands for good, in a way that I loved, I'd do it in a heartbeat!
And beyond that, Apricity was the work that got me back into writing and fandom at large after my hiatus, so it holds a special place for me. There's no way I won't finish it- not with how it's lived in my head far longer than Apricity itself has been live, so I'd certainly appreciate any assistance in speed-running the execution from brain to paper!

Decided to return to Tumblr for a hot second for this cool ask game!
1 - It has to be Lawless! See, I love fairy tales, supernatural, and fantasy settings the most, in a general sense, but there was something about this specific Western AU of yours that lives in my head rent-free! It's a little hard to describe, but I think it's related to how strongly the world came alive in my head! Also, this is my answer for #12, the fic of yours that I've reread... as you might've guessed!
4 - Not so shockingly, Wolfstar is the answer, though I must clarify myself. I'm not all that knowledgeable about HP in general (which is also why this ship is my answer for #10, the ship I didn't think much of until I read your fics), but the reason why I really like how you write that ship is because of this common thread I can see through all your fics- canon-world and AU alike! Of course, each version of them differs based on the world, but I like how I can pick out those few integral threads that tell me "ooooh, it's them!", which is really cool for me to read and see as a fandom outsider!
11 - Vampire AU Wolfstar, what else would you expect from me XD

I am so happy you loved Lawless. I was afraid no one would. A Western AU can be niche and kind of weird, the language is stylized...but the reception it's gotten over time has been so positive!
I'm happy that you see a thread between the different fics. I do try to keep the characterizations consistent...even when I'm like, "well, how would 1920's Remus react to this thing rather than canon universe Remus?"

Well, well, well. It has been quite some time since I last left you an ask of any kind (more like rambled forever on a tangent, but whatever lol). Anyways, this game seemed super cool, so I decided to return to Tumblr to do the thing... and here I am now! So onwards...
1 - So... this is very well timed, with you falling back into Arcane, but my favorite fic (beyond your lovely gift fics for me) was actually It Carries Over! And mind you, I'm not just saying that as a general sucker for 900 word fics (though that was a clear bonus, but because it felt so same-brainy in a way? The presentation, the emotional and relationship evolution between Cait and Vi over the three scenes feels like the perfect intersection between your style and my own, so it was very ooooooh to read and my brain really clicked on it! Of course, that was also a fic I reread (answering #12, alongside the gift fics).
Speaking of the gift-fics - both of those works, A Flower in Hands and A Brush in Hands, were super thoughtful and amazing (and were the 900 word type too)! Seeing you and @sliebman10 (who also wrote two super cool gift fics in my world... and I just realized I forgot to mention that in my ask to her oops, time for a part 2 ask after this XD) get your brains invaded by my idiots and writing pieces that are uniquely yours, even if closely aligned to my stuff, was really special and technically fascinating! Naturally, I've reread those pieces too XD
8 - The same-brain is strong, but the whole "building a scene in your head, and playing it like a movie" deal! I love how our brains are really similar in that outcome, but the way we get there is so different but similarly effective! But you already know that I revel in the details XD
9 - I am super excited for your new project! I don't want to spoil so much here, but after seeing you ramble on and on about the Lethal Company AU! It's always so delightful to see you ramble on about something you're super passionate about! That, and Part 2 of your inevitable Arcane brainrot, naturally XD

Look, my brain puts in soundtracks and cinematic angles for basic fics! I hear quivers in voices and can see facial expressions change! My brain is operating in 4K UltraHD! I just wish it would do the same for my own writing, that is, for actually writing the damn fics and not just daydreaming about them! Though I have to say, our brains seeing nearly the same thing while reading, down to the color of the scene, is just eerie and cool as fuck!
