request: heyyy! i don’t know if your posts are open but I wanted to ask. could do you something with miya (maybe not a s/o but a friend) reki, cherry, joe and shadow (he’s underrated) with a s/o with autism. i’m autistic and it’s hard to deal with...

↘ He is the best friend you could ever dream of; he’s very supportive and extremely understanding for his age. Miya – although he has never experienced this state – knows perfectly well that it’s hard and many people don’t understand your behavior or words.

↘ He likes it when you ask him a lot of questions, even if they are totally logical or seem unnecessary. He is very fond of helping you with problems and always tries to be here for you.

↘ He is an extremely understanding and calm guy, he knows that you need your favorite stuffed animal during attacks, and when you are stressed you reach for sweet snacks or ice cream. He starts a conversation with you right away and listens to you very carefully until you let him say something.

↘ Sometimes you say stupid stuff to a stranger or family member, but Kaoru immediately corrects you so that you can remember in the future not to say such words.

↘ You learn very quickly, so you spend your free time learning to write, paint and sketch. This is one of your favorite forms of dating (going to the zoo is another because you love animals).

Sk8 the Infinity Headcanons

No one’s name in Miya’s phone is their actual name: Reki is Dollar Store Ariel, Langa is Elsa’s Lost Snowman, Shadow is Mister Lonely, and of course Cherry and Joe are Mommy and Daddy

The kids get discounts at Joe’s restaurant since they’re there so much

Cherry helps Langa with his Japanese from time to time (Langa’s teachers have been noticing more and more improvement)

Cherry can’t figure out why everyone keeps calling him Pinkie Pie, if anything his hair is more reminiscent of Fluttershy’s

After finding out Joe studied in Italy, Reki began to ask him about it (How different is the time zone? Was anyone with you or did you travel alone? Are the cafés as good as they look online? Was there a bad language barrier? Did you go to an opera? Etc.) Joe plans to surprise Reki with a trip to Italy when he graduates.

It took Langa a month to remember everyone’s names. Reki was ‘the energetic one’, Shadow was ‘flower clown’, Miya was ‘Meowth from Pokémon’, Joe was ‘the guy who always forgets his shirt’, and Cherry was ‘the one with pink hair who keeps ditching his glasses’.

They’re often mistaken as a family whenever they hang out, mainly because the kids are often referred to as “the kids” (and a few times “our kids” when they lost said kids in the shopping center).

Some people at S have begun to speculate if Joe and Cherry had adopted Reki, Langa, and Miya when the kids first got to S. They view Reki as taking after Joe the most and Miya as taking after Cherry the most. Langa is viewed as somewhere in-between but is leaning slightly more towards taking after Cherry. (Both Joe and Cherry are well aware of the rumors but have said nothing, Miya knows and plays into it, Reki and Langa have been too focused on skating and each other to notice)

My cats been missing for three days, I've had her since I was 11 and she is REALLY important to me(shes also never been gone this long). We just got a ton of snow, im worried for her and I overheard my parents saying they think our neighbor did something to her. Can I request Sk8 characters comforting their S/O in a scenario like that?

Fandom: Sk8 the Infinity

Characters: Reki Kyan, Langa Hasegawa, Miya Chinen, Kojiro Nanjo, Kaoru Sakurayahiki x gn! Reader

Reki is probably one of the best people to be around if you want your mind taken off the situation. He’s good at listening as well if you want to talk but his real talent lies in distracting you.

Having said that, he’s very adaptable so if you prefer being comforted in a different way, he can change his methods to suit you.

If you feel like talking or just need comfort, Reki gives fantastic hugs. He’ll sway gently side to side and rub your back or head.

If you want to go out and help look for your cat, he’ll tag along. That way he’s helping but is also with you for support.

Of course, he’d also take his skateboard out and skate around town looking for your missing fur friend on his own. But his first priority is making sure you’re okay.

Langa is the best listener out of everyone here. If you want to talk about what's happening or reminisce about good times with your furry friend, he's there to lend an ear.

Much like Reki, he's going to grab his skateboard and go around town trying to find any clues as to where your cat's gone.

He'll ask around at S as well. While Reki might have some reservations about going up to a random person at S and asking if they've seen a cat around, Langa does have the same qualms.

Langa's not the best with physical touch but if you want hugs or any other form of physical comfort, he'll do his best.

All in all, he'll be a more quiet supporter in this situation. He'll do what he can to help but he's a lot more subtle than some of the others.

Oh, Miya is finding your cat and discovering every detail of what happened. He’s starting a search on every social media platform he has and is ready to take it to the news if need be.

A missing cat is no joke to someone who's favourite animals are felines so Miya is right there with you in missing your furry friend.

He's probably very attached to your cat as well so he's going to do whatever he can to get it back. If that means he has to call in some favours thanks to his standing and fame, he'll do just that.

Miya's not great with words or physical affections but if that's what you want to help you deal with the situation, he'll do his best.

If he gets to choose how to comfort you, he's going to just be in your presence. He may not be great with words or physical comfort but he's got a reasonably soothing presence.

Joe is taking you back to the restaurant, making you your favourite dish, calling Cherry so he can give you company, and setting out to search for your cat.

He’d be there in person but doing nothing while someone he cares about is hurting is hard for him, especially if he knows there are things he can do to help.

Joe will also print out missing flyers and stick them up all over town, keeping a few at the restaurant. Every customer he servs, he’ll ask if they’ve seen your furry friend (if they can give him any information, he’s offering a free dessert).

If you do particularly want his company, Joe will stay with you and make calls to a bunch of his connections from S so they can start the search.

He’s good at comforting people, especially if they want someone to talk to, either about the situation or about something else entirely. He’s a good listener and will respond at the right moments with the right words.

Cherry is the perfect combination of Joe and Miya: he's going to be hands on with helping to find your cat but he's going online as well.

He's also got more resources than Miya so he'll be sending out drones as well to scout the city in search of your cat.

He's also going to call in help from Joe. He knows that, as many connections as he has, his old friend has a lot of different connections that may also be able to help.

Because he can search remotely, Cherry will be able to spend a lot more time with you than the others.

He's very adaptable in comforting you so whether you want physical comfort, kind words, a good listener, or just someone to be with, he's got it covered.

being in a relationship was never miya's priority. instead, skating seemed to be his whole world, while everything else was just an afterthought

you knew that skating was important to him and you never expected you to become more important than skating to him

but you had at least hoped that miya would pay some attention to you, after you tried to ask him out so many times and tried to get closer to him

but he never had any time for you. he was always practicing, always busy, no matter when you asked

slowly, you began to ask him less often. until eventually, you gave up altogether

it was at that time that you began to hang out more with reki, who you had ran into a few times, thanks to miya

for reki, you immediately became more important than skating! you were his friend and someone he cared about. enough to even skip his job or training, just to spend time with you

reki was there for you after you gave up on miya and he was the one to lift you up again, until you found yourself falling in love with him instead

but around that time, miya slowly began to miss your presence. sure, he always turned you down, but he still missed you asking him for a coffee after practice or to watch a movie together

for a long time, miya didn't see you anymore, wondering what became of you. until one night, he spotted you at S!

just as he was about to approach you, he noticed the boy next to you. a familiar red head, who had his arm wrapped around you and was peppering your face with kisses, while you laughed

miya froze, staring at the two of you. and then, he turned around and ran off

he didn't know where he'd go, but he knew he couldn't stand seeing you two together. nor did he want you to notice him staring

that night wasn't the last one where he saw you with reki. your appearances at S became more frequent, as you wanted to cheer on your boyfriend!

miya continued to avoid you, trying his hardest to forget about you. but it never worked. somewhere between the last time you two spoke and now, he had developed feelings for you

perhaps, he had felt this way for a while now. though he only realized it while it was already too late and had moved on from him…

“Okay, okay, okay, I swear I’ve got it this time,” you managed between giggles, scrambling off the ground for the millionth time and hopping back onto the skateboard beside Miya. Miya rolled his eyes at you as you came back up beside him, but you could tell he was trying not to laugh himself.

It was dark outside, and you and Miya were the only ones at the skate park with just the streetlights enabling you to see around you. Despite both of you telling your parents that you were just staying at each other’s houses and of course you wouldn’t go out after dark, here you two were and had been for the last half hour, trying over and over to land a trick you’d begged Miya to do with you.

“Yeah, whatever, sure you do,” Miya scoffed, hiding his smile beneath his trademark neon green cat hoodie. “Let’s try it again.”

You nodded, and Miya started the countdown to flip the skateboard both of you were standing on. “Okay. Ready? One, two, three!”

Both of you jumped at the same time, but when you came back down to turn the skateboard, it moved slightly beneath your feet, sending both you and Miya flying to the side. You stumbled and almost hit the pavement yet again, but Miya grabbed you around the waist and yanked you back up before you could fall, steadying the both of you again.

You burst into giggles again, and Miya finally laughed himself, trying to suppress his smile but failing. “Oh, my god, why are we so bad at this?” you asked between giggles, and Miya just shook his head and covered his mouth with his hand.

“Quit your giggling already, stupid,” Miya told you, playfully pushing you before grabbing your hand and pulling you back up onto the skateboard. “We’re trying this again until we land it.”

You took a few deep breaths to try and compose yourself, just barely managing to hold yourself together. “Yeah. Okay. Let’s do this.”

“Right. Three, two, one, go!”

Again, you both jumped, but the skateboard slipped from beneath Miya’s feet, darted in your direction, and sent you tumbling to the ground again. Miya just barely caught himself this time, arms swinging to steady himself. When he came to you, who was still lying on the ground, to help you up, he found you in another fit of laughter at your own failure to land the trick. Miya let out a joking exaggerated sigh upon seeing you like this again before simply yanking on your sleeve to pull you back up.

“You good?”

You had to take a few deep breaths before you could respond to him. “Yeah- yeah, I’m fine.”

Miya scoffed. “You’re impossible, Y/N. Let’s try again.”

You smiled at him and he offered a half-smile back as you two got back up on the skateboard. “Okay. Pull yourself together already, Y/N!”

Of course you were laughing again, already anticipating how this would go wrong for the hundredth time, but you swallowed your laughter and nodded resolutely. “I’m together, I swear! Okay, I wanna do the countdown this time.”

“Go for it.”

“Alright- ready? Three, two, one, jump!”

This time, though, Miya jumped slightly sooner than you did, and when you landed at different times it sent the skateboard flying behind you both, making both you and Miya topple to the ground in the same direction. When you were able to sit up, you realized Miya had fallen straight on top of you.

Of course, you burst into laughter again.

Miya, on the other hand, was flustered, scrambling to get off of you but repeatedly stumbling because of how he was rushing. You could see his cheeks burn red even in the dim streetlight.

“Y/N, why- why the hell are you laughing so much?!” Miya demanded, still struggling to get upright. You only smiled and sat up slightly to kiss him briefly on the lips, which made him freeze. “Come on, let’s try again. We’re totally gonna get it this time, I swear.”

“Hey, don’t just kiss me out of nowhere, dumbass!” Miya snapped, but the darkening flush on his cheeks and the way he stumbled over his words clearly said he wasn’t mad about it in the slightest.

You shrugged in response, shooting him a grin, and you both got back up on the skateboard. “ Let’s count at the same time this time, okay?”

“Okay, yeah, sure. Are you ready? And I swear if you start laughing-“

“I won’t, I promise! Let’s do this.”

“Fine. Three-“

“-two-“

“-one-“

“Go!”

You and Miya jumped at the same time, Miya flipping the skateboard with his feet as he went up, and you both came down at the same time, landing on the upright skateboard. You’d finally pulled off the trick.

You gasped. “Miya, we did it! And we didn’t fall this time!”

“Jesus Christ.” Miya let out a sigh of relief before abruptly hugging you, catching you by surprise, before letting you go after a second or two. “Next time, we’re doing a trick that I choose, because that took way too long. Which was your fault, by the way, because you kept laughing. Got it?”

You nodded happily. “Fine with me.”

Miya bent over and picked up his skateboard, tucking it under one arm and grabbing your hand. “Okay, idiot, let’s get to my house before our parents start suspecting anything. You ready to go?”

With a nod, both you and Miya took off into the night just as the streetlights flickered off, leaving you both in just the moonlight to guide you.

a great thing about sk8 the infinity is that it is just so clear who the ships are, so I never see any issues of ship wars, arguing about “no that ship can’t happen! it makes no sense!” because bitch we already know that reki and langa are the friends to lovers trope, and cherry and joe are an old married couple and no one can deny it.

this fandom is just so nice to be in. i’ve barely seen any negativity and when I have it’s always been about adam lmao. it’s awesome to just search sk8 and see all sorts of happy vibes, cute fanart, headcanons, etc for the boys (including miya and shadow, im not forgetting y’all!) and it’s just such a good time.

he is going to force you to watch all of his skateboard practices, whether you want to or not

if you want to learn how to skateboard, he's going to make you beg for it

if you beg for it, he'll act all high and mighty as he teaches you

if you don't beg for it, you'll be woken up the next morning with gloves and knee pads being thrown in your face

"come out, I'm being grateful"

yea he just wants someone to skateboard with, and also really wants to teach you so that he can hear you say "Miya taught me"

he feels proud of himself when you say that

if you're slacking off, or goofing around instead of focusing on your studies, he's going to give you a side-eye while saying "Aren't you supposed to be my older sibling? Shouldn't you be setting an example for me?"

would be even more smug while saying that if he's better than you at school

he's the kind of brother that would leave all of his useless stuff in your room, just so his room is "tidy"

if you both are forced to share a room, he'll draw a line and tell you to stay on your side

the first one to break his own rule though

if he can't sleep at night, he'll go "meow" in your ear just to see you get startled in your sleep

do that to him, and he'll wake up with a muffled scream

relies on you more than your parents, so he'd come to you when he's feeling low

sometimes he just needs to cry it out while you stroke his back, but would deny it happened the next morning

"If I loose, I'll be your dog or cat or whatever" is his standard line for whenever you make bets

if you offer a different condition, he'll think it ten times over before accepting it

if he sees you getting bullied or insulted or just anything along those lines, he won't help you immediately

he'll stand afar and watch

you're his older sibling you should handle it yourself

if it gets too much, he'll interrupt because "it's getting late and he needs to head for practice"

his way of standing up for you is... something

"That's my sibling you're talking about. And since we share the same genes, I do have some hope in them, if not much. You on the other hand, seem to be even worse than a slime."

This doesn't have to be for a headcanon! I just thought I'd update you!

I did hear her wrong (she thought the neighbor might have done something) BUT MY CAT CAME BACK! She was really skinny and had a little bit of blood on her ear but she's back!

Hi Squeezy! Oh my goodness, that's such good news! I decided to do headcanons for this so there are two endings, the good and the bad. I hope you like the headcanons!

Fandom: Sk8 the Infinity

Characters: Reki Kyan, Langa Hasegawa, Miya Chinen, Kojiro Nanjo, Kaoru Sakurayashiki, Ainosuke Shindo (Adam) x gn! Reader (separate)

Reki is delighted your cat has returned safely. He didn’t say it but he was starting to get very concerned that it wasn’t going to come back.

The first thing he’s going to do is get in touch with everyone who was helping him look for your cat and give them the good news.

Then, he’s spending some well earned quality time with you and your furry friend. He’d love to cuddle up with you and your cat for a while, just enjoying your presence.

If you lay most of your attention on your cat and ignore Reki a bit, he won’t be put off. He knows how much this whole thing affected you so he’s not going to begrudge you spending time with you cat now.

Langa is quietly pleased by this update. Most likely, the only outward sign you will see is a soft smile, but he’s very happy your cat is okay.

Like Reki, he’ll get in touch with everyone who was helping search and give them the update.

For a lot of the people at S, he doesn’t have a way of getting in touch with them quickly so he’ll let them know next time he’s there for a race. He’ll pass along their messages of congratulations to you.

He’ll give you a bit of space to reunite with your furry friend alone but is also more than happy to keep you both company as well if you’d prefer.

Miya is crying tears of joy. He’s so happy your furry friend is okay, he’s possibly just as happy as you are.

Sure, he knows she needs to update the internet and every one who was showing their support to you during this incident but first, he wants to spend time with your cat.

Since he’s young, he hasn’t really had a lot of experience with coming to terms with almost losing someone or something he cares about like this so it’s going to take him a while to get over this.

Once he’s had his fill of spending time with your cat, he’ll send out a post to all his social media letting everyone know the good news.

Joe is glad your cat is okay. He would be okay either way but he’s glad things turned out well for your sake. Had your cat not returned, he would have been saddened more for you than himself.

If any of the patrons of his restaurant helped in the search, he will be offering them a free dessert next time they come in.

Joe will want to spend some time with both you and your cat and will make sure you’re okay on your own before he leaves for work or S.

Speaking of S, he will also give anyone who helped out there the good news. He’ll pass on their well wishes to both you and your furry friend.

Very similar to Joe in that he will be happy for you. Cherry was preparing for the worst so it’s a pleasant surprise when your cat returned.

He will definitely suggest putting a tracking chip into your cat or your cat's collar at least. If something like this happens again, he wants to be able to find your furry friend easier.

Gives the internet a brief update before calling up everyone he contacted regarding help to give them the same information.

Then, he’s putting his work on hold for a while until you’ve both had your fill of spending quality time together with each other and your cat.

Adam is very glad your cat is okay. He didn’t want to have to carry out the plans he had for revenge should any other outcome occur.

He’s going to call up his contacts to tell them that the search is off before telling Tadashi to take charge of his business for the day.

Adam will spend as much time with you as you want. If you’d rather have some alone time with your cat, he’s happy to leave you alone but he’d much rather be with you both.

He will also use his vast resources to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Whether that’s a tracking chip, a personal drone that can help locate your cat, or making sure the garden has enough to keep your cat entertained without roaming.
