Joe was always one to take your hand in his, bringing your intertwined hands up to kiss your knuckles. It was like second nature to the man, always a romantic at heart despite his playboy attitude. It was almost instinctual for him to take your hand whenever he could. Thumb brushing over your hand as he drove or swinging your hands gently while walking down the street. Always cemented with that sweet kiss.

In some ways, Cherry was similar to his long time friend. Also having a habit of kissing your hand while his fingers intertwined with yours. But rather than kissing your knuckles, Cherry tended to kiss the back of your hand as a greeting. Polite and chaste, but no less loving. Usually, however, he isn't often one for hand holding, or any sort of PDA. But that doesn't stop him from his little greeting, looking up at you from between his bangs.

If anyone was good at tugging rather than holding your hand, it's Reki. He'll take your hand in his and pull you along to show you something or bring you somewhere. His carefree attitude reflected in his hand holding, or hand tugging.. Once he realises he's grabbed your hand without asking though, he tends to get a little flustered about it. Even though he doesn't let go. Classic guy.

I'm sorry to say Langa probably won't hold your hand, you have to hold his hand. He's. Shy. Once he gets used to it though, he'll often brush his fingers against yours to warn you before taking your hand in his. Still, he's a little shy about it, especially if someone else(namely Reki) points it out. He does like to swing your hands back and forth a little when walking though.

Hii I was wondering if I could ask for sk8 Langa and Cherry with a s/o who went against Adam and he attacked s/o worse than any of the others?

FIRST SK8 REQUEST?!? Thank you for your ask!!

LANGA knew that adam was intimidating, but he had faith that you could handle yourself against him. his reservations outweighed his want to support you, and so he tucked them away and opted for cheering you on and supporting you throughout the race. he was just the same as you, eager to get out there and skate against someone so skilled. everything would work out.

the race was going smoothly until half way through the track, it appeared that adam was getting ready to make some sort of move that you were unaware of. it came quick, adam turning around and running full speed using his board as a club to attack you with. langa could only stare and exclaim in fear as he watched you get hit with all the strength adam could muster on the giant tvs. he immediately went after you, pushing past the crowds of people to retrieve your unconscious figure from the track. joe followed and insisted on driving you to the hospital, langa not even bothering trying to convince him to tag along, but simply stating that he’d accompany you. he sat nervously in the hospital for a long while until he was forced to head home, but even a conversation with joe reassuring him that you’d be alright couldn’t calm his nerves.

he felt guilty that he didn’t voice more of his anxious feelings toward the race. maybe if he did, it would’ve prompted you to be more attentive to any dangerous tricks. the rest of his evening was spent getting lost in his guilty consciousness, and he was quieter and slower until your full recovery. even when you were discharged and feeling better than ever did langa feel horrible for not saying anything at all. you managed to snap him out of his all-consuming self loathing however, repeating firmly that he wasn’t responsible for your injury. a small kiss on his cheek solidified that. langa makes a note from the experience to work on communicating his feelings a little bit better with you.

CHERRY knew firsthand what adam was capable of. he was all too familiar with his style of skating (if you could even call it that). so admittedly he was nervous when you told him you’d be skating against the maniac. he was slightly surprised and was vocal in his concerns, reminding you of his wicked tricks and the danger of going up against him. you were insistent however, wanting to take the chance to beat him, if not that then improve in skill. cherry wasn’t going to force you out of the race, so he very reluctantly accepted it.

his eyes never left the screens displaying the race, constantly analyzing your move. even when he saw you doing well, his worry didn’t falter. his breath hitched as he watched adam prepare an all too familiar attack against you, his fears becoming reality right before his eyes. he wasted no time locating you and using carla to examine your condition after you collapsed. cherry comes off cool and collected when informing the others about your state, simply stating the known facts, but everyone could tell that he was tense with the deep frown etched in his face and the slight gruffness in his voice.

he sat by your bed and watched as you rested, planning a “i told you so" lecture for when you were feeling better. cherry mostly felt awful for not interfering more with your decision, however. he knew that adam was dangerous and was almost sure to pull some sort of stunt that would end up hurting you, but he still let you go out on the track. he used carla to monitor your recovery and took it upon himself to take care of you even when you got discharged from the hospital. he was scared for you, and it came out in the form of anger. you apologized for letting yourself be so careless, and cherry couldn’t help but deflate at the genuine guilt in your voice. he flicked you over the head with his fan and assured you that the sole person responsible was adam. cherry paid for all the food you wanted at kojiro's restaurant (and made him treat you occasionally as well) to make up for the guilt he felt.

Reki Kyan

you hear the door slam open as you jolt your head up to see what it is. you see your boyfriend in the doorframe looking directly at you

"Y/N Y/N Y/N. GUESS WHAAAAAAAT!" he yells as he runs to your desk. you smush his cheeks with your hand. "reki baby, calm down. and what is it?" you ask. "sorry, but you gotta guess." he says in a more hushed manner.

"uhmmmm you got a beef?" you question. he nods his head. "and lemme guess, with shadow?" he nods more excited. "I've been studying his tricks and cheats so I'll definitely beat him now." he whispers so people wont hear him talk about S. y'all's teacher walks in and reki goes to sit down, bouncing his knee up and down, not being able to contain his excitement.

time skip

langa, reki, and you gather up at S and look for Joe and Cherry. you see Cherry's bright ass pink hair and lead the guys over to him.

"glad to see y'all can make it. reki I wish you luck." cherry says in a monotone voice. "thanks cherry! i really appreciate it" reki smiles.

"yo! you ready to get your ass kicked, you little punk!" shadow walks up behind reki. "hell yeah! I'm gonna beat you tonight, shadow. and if I win, you have to get a act like a baby for 10 minutes. wah wah!" reki mocks him like a baby.

"oh yeah?! and if I win, you have to do the same!" shadow yells. "really creative, huh?" he says.

they get into their starting positions and wait for the lights.

"reki wait!" you run up to him. "s/y/n? what are you-" he gets cut off by you kissing him. he kisses you back and wraps his arms around your waist, pulling you in. you pull back, "good luck!" you smile at him.

let's just say that a certain video of shadow got sent to your phone :)

he was so happy that you kissed him to the point where he ran to you at the finish line and tackled you in another kiss. he did not want to let you go

Langa Hasegawa

you were watching langa practice some new tricks that reki told him about. he had a beef with some random guy that challenged him, but langa had nothing to worry about. he's sure he can beat him.

of course langa fell a few times and he always came to you to bandage him up. he always has that sad walk everytime he came up to you with a scraped hand or knee. but nevertheless, he always got back up again.

"gasp, langa look!" you pointed at the sunset. one of two things. 1. you wanted to show him how pretty the sunset was. 2. it was about that time to start heading over to S. you packed your things up and starting heading there.

of course, reki was already at S and waiting for y'all. "langa! s/y/n! you're here!" reki ran up and tackled us in a hug. "omg reki, hi!" you laugh. he gets up and helps me and langa up. "dude are you ready?!" reki asks. "of course!" langa says with a smile. 'he looks so pretty when he's happy and smiling' you say to yourself.

langa was about to go to the starting line when you called for him. he walked up to you, "yes, honey?" he asks. "one thing." you grabbed his collar and kissed him. you let go of his shirt and wished him luck. she was absolutely red and stuttering, poor boy could barely walk back to the starting line.

he of course won. he was still so red when he came up to you at the finish line. he was a stuttering mess asking you if you can kiss him more often

Kaoru Sakurayashiki (Cherry Blossom)

you're at where kaoru works and you're just watching him do whatever the hell he does when he works. you're just staring at him, mindlessly, engaged in whatever he's doing. "i can feel your eyes burn into my head, darling. is there something you need?" he asks. "oh uhm no... i just like watching you work.." you admit embarrassed.

after he gets off work, you both head over to Joe's for some food. "well if it isn't my two favorite people. the usual seats and orders, I presume?" joe asks. "you know us so well" you respond.

you and kaoru sit at the bar so you can talk to Joe. he brings out both of your drinks and food and leans on the counter. "so che- I mean kaoru." Joe messes up. kaoru gives him a 'watch what you say' glare at Joe. "how about a beef tonight, kaoru? just like old times, huh?" joe asks. "fine, but only if it'll get you off my back, you dopey gorilla." he says.

time skip

cherry took almost an hour to get ready, mostly on his hair, and we go to find Joe. i see his deep, moss green hair (insultingly) and he sees me. he runs over and gives me a bone crunching hug. "s/y/n!! you made it." he says. he looks at cherry, "oh, and the princess has arrived as well. how long did it take you to do your hair this time?" joe asks. cherry just slapped his back and joe hissed at the pain.

"you ready, you walking shampoo ad?" joe looks over at him. "ready to wipe that smirk off your dumbass face." he fires back. "oooh so sassy today."

"wait, darling." you call to cherry. "yes, angel?" he sits back up. "good luck, mkay?" you pull down his mask before he protests and kiss him. his eyes widen in shock, he doesn't know what to feel or how to react. you pull up his mask before anyone else can see.

cherry absolutely won against Joe since he had your kiss to motivate him.

he now requires a kiss before every single beef he has

Kojiro Nanjo (Joe)

like cherry, you were admiring kojiro while he worked. just something about the unform he wears makes his muscles and everything look so good on him. you weren't gonna lie, you may or may not have been slowly undressing him in your mi-

"if you keep undressing me with your eyes, I'm gonna catch a cold." he says with his back turned to you as he washes dishes. he has his sleeves halfway rolled up, making him 10x hotter. "oh shut up you gorilla." you say as you look away, but then look at him in the corner of your eyes. "oooh ouch that one stung," he says sarcastically, "you've been hanging out with kaoru too much." he says, never turning around.

once he's done with the dishes and everyone's cleared out, he dries his hands and leans on the counter to look at you. "some little punk kid challenged me to a beef tonight. you're gonna be there right, darling?" he questions. "well of course, sweetheart. wouldn't want to miss seeing you shirtless." you shot back while looking at his hands. there's steam coming off of them from the hot ass water he was doing the dishes with. "my eyes are up here, darling. you can see me shirtless tonight, lovey." he raises your head with his finger. "oh don't worry, I plan on it. and if I hear one of your fangirls yelling about how they wanna quote 'marry your abs'," you finger quote, "I'll jump on their asses." you sickly smile. "damn, you're hot when your possessive."

time skip

you both ride to where either reki, langa, or cherry was, or whoever you find first. reki and langa run up to you and jumps you in a hug, making you fall off your board. "s/y/n!" they say while pilling on you. they always do this every time you come to S, but you don't mind, it's cute.

joe pulls them off of you and helps you up. the kid who challenged him starts egging him on about how Joe will lose and that he'll never beat him. this, of course, pissed you off. "joe!" you wiggled your finger to signal to come here. before he stops, you pulled his belt buckle, wrapped your arms around him, and kissed him. he doesn't hesitate to kiss you back immediately. you pull away, "kick his ass, darling" you tell him. "damn angel, do this all the time and I'll do whatever you say." he teases.

he, like cherry, had your kiss to motivate his win.

joe, and like reki, walked up to you after his win, and kissed you oh so passionately at his win

his hands, caressing your body as if it were to shatter. he treated you like the most delicate maxixe gemstone, so fearful of making one wrong move and shattering you.

his hands so firmly on your hips, gripping so hard that you were scared your bones would turn to dust under his grasp, bruises already forming. he painted an enthralling galaxy of love bites littering your neck, a map of jagged scratches on his back from you in return.

your laboured breathing and muffled whimpers and sobs just acted as fuel to the fire deep in his core, his stamina never once letting up as you unfurled beautifully in his arms. such a pretty sight you were beneath him.

First kiss

REKI

Your first kiss with him was an accident. He hadn't meant to kiss you in the beginning. His lips brushed against yours just the slightest, but it still left his heart aching for more than just a simple graze.

You'd tilted your head up simultaneously as him, eyes locked as they touched. Neither of you moved away, seemingly stuck in that position. He mutters a quiet "Sorry." When he pulls back, looking at you through hooded eyes.

"Can I," he swallows his words when you look at him, ignoring the rush of heat to his face when you do. "Can we do that again?"

You bite back a laugh before nodding.

LANGA

He'd planned it. The moment he asked you to race against him the bet of, "Kiss me if I win." Fell from his lips like a prophecy.

Lo and behold, Langa finds himself slumped over like a fool. He'd lost. When you make your way toward him, he straightens out like it didn't mean anything to him. Like you should be upset you didn't lose.

He feels his cheeks heat up when you kiss the corner of his mouth unexpectedly. Lips parted from shock, heart beating rapidly in his chest when you smile at him.

HIROMI

It was unexpected. When it happened, he assumed it was because the worry and the sterile hospital smell clouded your judgment. Definitely not because you were in love with him.

Your hands were holding his cheeks softly, thumbs caressing the apples of his cheeks. A metallic taste filled his mouth when his tongue grazed your lip, you were chewing on it when you arrived.

And when you stumble back, he catches your wrist. Hushing you when you start apologizing, telling you that it was fine. That he was okay with you kissing him, so long as you were.

KAORU

It was long overdue. Through years of pining, back and forth bantering, and bickering. What was once thought to be one-sided love from both sides was something long overdue.

He was frantic, a characteristic rarely paired with Kaoru. His teeth had hit yours, nimble fingers had dug into the skin of your cheeks. It was desperate.

"Sorry," he whispers, a slight rasp in his voice. "Sorry, I didn't hurt you did I?"

You shake your head no and move to catch his lips again.

KOJIRO

He says it was accidental, though everyone within the area could tell he planned it. His arm was loosely wrapped around your waist, palm flat on the table you stood over.

Your attention was set on the chemistry lab in front of you, focused on the bubbling reaction within the beaker while simultaneously slapping Kojiro's chest, nagging him to take notes.

He'd leaned his body so his chin was level with your shoulder, and the minute his breath fanned against your skin, you'd turned, lips grazing against his.

"Sorry." You fumbled over your words as you attempted to back away—hand covering your mouth as you silently cursed him for blocking any exit with his arm.

"Don't be," he'd said, smiling when your shoulders relaxed, your body shifting slightly into his. "Just kiss me properly next time."

OKA

It happened out of the blue on a random Tuesday. He'd always hoped the first kiss you two would share would be through some elaborate, romantic date. Not when he was leaving for work.

A fond smile made its way to his face when you'd sat up in bed just as he exited the bedroom, backtracking his steps to press a light kiss to your forehead. He'd leaned down when you prompted him to, not thinking anything of it at all.

And when your lips meet him in a soft kiss, he becomes putty in your arms. His hands came to rest on either side of your neck, thumbs inches from your jaw, rubbing the warm skin under it.

"Have a good day at work." You'd mumbled.

SK8 Boys: You want to go to a haunted location

A/N: Alrighty, so this will be my first post ever for Sk8 characters! And what better time to write about them than Frightfest!

Cherry/Kaoru

"Sure. But we'll have to find a location and get permission."

He'd be kind of responsible about it. He didn't want to just go to a location that you have no business being at. He'd rather not get caught trespassing. He had a reputation to uphold after all.

Joe/Kojiro

He's not going to pass this opportunity up. He likes you and wants to be there for you if you get scared. Yes, he just wants to use that as an excuse to hold you or your hand. But honestly, it would be kinda fun to go to a haunted location.

Langa

"Yeah, sure."

Langa probably wouldn't mind going with you. But if things start getting too scary (for either of you), you were going to leave. He didn't want to be somewhere that could put either of you at risk.

Miya

"If you get scared, we're not going to turn back."

He was sure that you wouldn't be able to handle a haunted location, but he'd play along. Honestly just hanging out with you would be fun. And if you were actually going to get a scare, then why not do a test of courage? He bet that he could last longer in there than you.

Reki

"Hard pass."

He's not very fond of ghosts or haunted locations. So even if you ask him to go with you, he will decline. There's no way you're going to convince him into going either. And that's okay. He'd be up for skating instead though!

Could I request Cherry, Adam, and Takeshi with a painter s/o?

Cherry

Their careers are very similar, Karou with his calligraphy and them with their painting.

They probably met when they were hosted at the same show on classical Japanese artforms.

As an artist himself he has a deeper appreciation for their technique with their brush strokes and fine detail work. It’s so delicate and perfect. He could watch them paint for hours.

Adam

Likely met at a charity or fundraising gala at a gallery they were showcased in and Ainosuke took a liking to their work.

Not knowing they were the artist, he provided his critics and was unanimously shut down by them. Decimated even by their words.

They told him that a bureaucrat like him could not possibly understand the passion of art like this, and since then Ainosuke has been obsessed with them and their passion.

Tadashi

He evens their expressiveness and creativity.

They get to be so free. Both on and off the canvas. Artist are known for being a little eccentric, so they can get away with things he would never dream of being so bold about.

Takeshi is actually a fairly skilled painter, but his art has no life to it. He can ‘play the notes, but not make the music’ as it were. So he just leaves the art in their relationship to them.

Teen cherry or adult cherry

Bc there is a difference

Teen cherry thinks you are the single most badass person on the planet but is NOT going to let you outdo him

So he probably tries to do the same

Maybe not stilettos, but some kind of combat boot w a heel

Which is still a heel but is MUCH easier than actual heels

He was trying to show off, got too busy watching you, and fell flat on his ass

He genuinely didn’t know if he could walk in something like that, let alone try to stand on a board

And he watched in admiration while you pulled off several tricks, cheering when you nailed it

Immediately pulls out his switch and swears he wasn’t paying attention

“What do you mean you weren’t watching??”

“I looked for a minute and it seemed cool but my game was more interesting”

He’s at the wonderful age where he’ll never admit anything you do is cool so don’t even try to make him

The snow was only getting worse and worse,you knew you’d be stuck home all day. Luckily the Sia la luce was closed for today,meaning Joe wouldn’t be stuck there,instead he’d be here with you and Kaoru.

“Y/N where are you going?” Joe asked,his voice groggy from just waking up.

“Nowhere” You back in bed with him,he pulled you wrapping you tightly in his embrace “You dumb Gorilla” He chuckled,kissing your cheek. He fell asleep on top of you,Kaoru had his arms around your waist,trying to pull you away from Kojiro and closer to him. You ended up falling asleep and waking up to the smell of food,Kaoru was still holding onto you not letting go. “Kaoru” You dragged out his name,he just nuzzled into your neck. You called his name again,his lips hovering above your neck until he suddenly bit down. You yelped,wrapping your arms around him. The sound of the door being opened startled both of you,making you turn to see Kojiro.

“Hey,are you having fun without me?”

“It’s the only time I can take things slowly”

“Where’s the fun in that? Anyway I’m trying out this new recipe,come on” He quickly picked you both up,surprisingly easily.

The storm was getting worse,you quickly realized how thankful that both of them were here safe and warm with you.

“Something wrong Y/N?” You turned away from the window.

“It’s nothing” You sat down on the couch next to Kaoru,who immediately pulled you towards him.

“Looks like we’ll be here for a while,what should we do?” Kojiro asked,sitting beside you. Immediately trying to pull you away from Kaoru,who smacked him on the hand with his fan. “Hey you were hogging her a few minutes ago,it’s my turn” You grabbed both of them by their chins,pulling them closer to you.

“You’re two big boys,you should know how to share” You teased,they stared at each other for a second before moving even closer to you,smirking and whispering.

Hi Squeezy! Oh my goodness, that's such good news! I decided to do headcanons for this so there are two endings, the good and the bad. I hope you like the headcanons!

Fandom: Sk8 the Infinity

Characters: Reki Kyan, Langa Hasegawa, Miya Chinen, Kojiro Nanjo, Kaoru Sakurayashiki, Ainosuke Shindo (Adam) x gn! Reader (separate)

Reki is delighted your cat has returned safely. He didn’t say it but he was starting to get very concerned that it wasn’t going to come back.

The first thing he’s going to do is get in touch with everyone who was helping him look for your cat and give them the good news.

Then, he’s spending some well earned quality time with you and your furry friend. He’d love to cuddle up with you and your cat for a while, just enjoying your presence.

If you lay most of your attention on your cat and ignore Reki a bit, he won’t be put off. He knows how much this whole thing affected you so he’s not going to begrudge you spending time with you cat now.

Langa is quietly pleased by this update. Most likely, the only outward sign you will see is a soft smile, but he’s very happy your cat is okay.

Like Reki, he’ll get in touch with everyone who was helping search and give them the update.

For a lot of the people at S, he doesn’t have a way of getting in touch with them quickly so he’ll let them know next time he’s there for a race. He’ll pass along their messages of congratulations to you.

He’ll give you a bit of space to reunite with your furry friend alone but is also more than happy to keep you both company as well if you’d prefer.

Miya is crying tears of joy. He’s so happy your furry friend is okay, he’s possibly just as happy as you are.

Sure, he knows she needs to update the internet and every one who was showing their support to you during this incident but first, he wants to spend time with your cat.

Since he’s young, he hasn’t really had a lot of experience with coming to terms with almost losing someone or something he cares about like this so it’s going to take him a while to get over this.

Once he’s had his fill of spending time with your cat, he’ll send out a post to all his social media letting everyone know the good news.

Joe is glad your cat is okay. He would be okay either way but he’s glad things turned out well for your sake. Had your cat not returned, he would have been saddened more for you than himself.

If any of the patrons of his restaurant helped in the search, he will be offering them a free dessert next time they come in.

Joe will want to spend some time with both you and your cat and will make sure you’re okay on your own before he leaves for work or S.

Speaking of S, he will also give anyone who helped out there the good news. He’ll pass on their well wishes to both you and your furry friend.

Very similar to Joe in that he will be happy for you. Cherry was preparing for the worst so it’s a pleasant surprise when your cat returned.

He will definitely suggest putting a tracking chip into your cat or your cat's collar at least. If something like this happens again, he wants to be able to find your furry friend easier.

Gives the internet a brief update before calling up everyone he contacted regarding help to give them the same information.

Then, he’s putting his work on hold for a while until you’ve both had your fill of spending quality time together with each other and your cat.

Adam is very glad your cat is okay. He didn’t want to have to carry out the plans he had for revenge should any other outcome occur.

He’s going to call up his contacts to tell them that the search is off before telling Tadashi to take charge of his business for the day.

Adam will spend as much time with you as you want. If you’d rather have some alone time with your cat, he’s happy to leave you alone but he’d much rather be with you both.

He will also use his vast resources to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Whether that’s a tracking chip, a personal drone that can help locate your cat, or making sure the garden has enough to keep your cat entertained without roaming.

This was never a good idea in the first place. Reki going against Adam? Maybe he's a masochist? Either way, this race is definitely a terrible idea. Miya knew it. Cherry and Joe knew it. Langa was the only one who didn’t. Well, that’s what he gets for being a knucklehead. Now he was paying the price, indeed.

Adam was being the usual asshole. He thought he was so cool. Screwing up a kid's mind, that fucking sadist. It was an unforgivable act. When you're greedy for power and gain it, it does things to you. Take Adam for a whole ass example. But once that man started putting his hands on that boy, your blood started to boil. But once he went flying off his board, you were in a blaze.

You hopped onto your own board, defying whatever rules he chose to make up. You catch up to them, including the Langa boy, very quickly. Adam was standing there, feeling triumphant, not until he saw someone rolling down the hill. He winced a little before realizing who was coming down the hill. It was you. The original. His one and only 'eve'. His smile widened, thinking he was about to gain praise, but he was sadly mistaken. You pushed him off his board and onto the ground.

Baffled, he quickly stood up and dusted himself off before looking at your foxy mask. Just the aura you gave off told him how mad you were. Him?! Doing this to a child?! You always thought he was an odd one out but not crazy to the point of attempting literal murder. You hopped off your board and approached him once again, kicking him in the chest forcefully. It blew the air out of him and while he was gasping for air you spoke up.

"So that's what you do? I entrust 'S' to you while I'm away and you fuckin do this?! This what we doin' now? HUH?!" You smacked him in the head, hard, and started pushing him by his chest. He coughed, finally catching his breath. "But, I did this all for you! I thought this was how you'd like it." He confesses aloud, which makes your temper even worse. You were so close to snatching off your mask but you knew you couldn't.

You smack him again, and again and again. Pushing him over and over, more and more aggressive as you spoke. Reki pointed out the whole interaction to Langa, to which Langa stepped in on. You sent two jabs to his face, not super strong, but enough to pack a punch and confuse him. As your anger rose you got even more aggressive. Sadly, not for long.

Langa steps in, first stepping in between the two of you, before just holding you back because Adam wasn't moving at all. He struggled to hold you back, but Cherry quickly took his spot while Shadow picked Reki up off the ground, Taking him away. Langa followed, leaving you to Cherry. Cherry pulled you away to where Joe was, to which they both gave you a hug while trying to calm you down. Adam followed you, being chaotic in a bad way. Since he was utterly obsessed with you and your skating, he couldn't not follow you.

"Kaoru… Kojiro..." You mumble, looking between the two of them. They really have changed a lot. Of course, Adam doesn't know how to leave you alone, and starts problems again. You walked up on him again, pulled him down by his collar and made eye contact. "Listen here, Shindo," You mumble the last part quietly enough no one could understand what you said. "I don't want to see you hurt them ever again. If you do, I'll kill you." Joe separated the two of you while Cherry pulled you back by your waist.

"You're so cute when you're angry." He smiles, disgusting all three of you. Cherry and Joe step in front of you, blocking his way to nearing you. "Back off." They say in unison. Adam was amused, and wanted to tease a little more, but they didn't let him. They quickly ushered you off, talking to you in a private area. Joe took off your mask and held you face, looking you over as if you were his lover. "Are you alright? He didn't hurt you?" You'd answer but your face was literally getting squished between his big ass hands. Much to Adam's dismay, the show must go on, so the other races of the night continued.

After literal inspection and ten minutes of convincing Joe and Cherry to let you go, you pulled up to the hospital Reki was at. You heard the news, about his arm and the recovery. You apologized profusely which flustered them all. And then you introduced yourself. "Hello, I'm [Reader, Surname]. I'm the original founder of 'S'. I allowed Adam to basically co-host while I was gone but I didn't think it was this bad!" They dismissed it and asked about Cherry and Joe, looking for guidance. Seems like Langa has to race against the one and only now.

You offered to get them all together, to which they thanked you for. "Alright, I'll be going for tonight. You all get home easy and safe. Good night!" You all said, about to leave when you feel a tug on your sleeve. "Uh, when you get better, could you race me too!" For some reason this reminded you of getting confessed to. You chuckle softly and pat his head, then leave, not giving him a clear answer.

Once you reached your car, you started malding and seething. Fucking Adam, he's got guts, to say the least. You give him props for it, however. If he hurts one of them, you will make him pay. No matter what it costs you.

↘ Sometimes you say stupid stuff to a stranger or family member, but Kaoru immediately corrects you so that you can remember in the future not to say such words.

╰┈➤ Like most mer creatures the Aquatic Rescue brought, Kaoru was feisty.

╰┈➤ The team found Kaoru in the hands of Shindo Aniosuke, malnourished and frightened. Aniosuke had planned to sell Kaoru off to the highest bidder, but thankfully that was stopped just in time and Aniosuke went to jail. (Bitch ass-)

╰┈➤ Kaoru fought every chance he got when he arrived, refusing anyone to touch him. It got dangerous to the point he had to be sedated.

╰┈➤ When you got assigned to take care of him you were thrilled, always happy to take care of your patients.

╰┈➤Kaoru on the other hand… Fussy. Upsety.

╰┈➤ He’s petty asf so he didn’t speak to you much in the beginning, or just spoke in short sentences. Hell, you probably got splashed too.

╰┈➤ Kaoru also was hardheaded as fuck and would camp in the water, so sometimes there had to be a whole ordeal about getting him out to check up on him.

╰┈➤ Kaoru also REFUSED to let anyone go near his seal companion, Carla. Mf was ready to be on someone’s obituary.

╰┈➤ But luckily it doesn’t last long! It takes a lot of patience, but the end result is sweet as you gain his trust (and soon you fuckin’ soo🤪).

╰┈➤ You get to learn about him as a person, learning his likes, dislikes, his family and friends… You can tell he misses them very much and it makes you more determined to help him.

╰┈➤ You enjoy all the stories he shares, especially all the nonsense he got up to with his childhood bestie, Kojiro.

╰┈➤ Cherry enjoys your care and it made his heart swoon when you helped him deal with anxiety besides relying on Carla all the time.

╰┈➤ Now, this man is canonically clingy, so imagine how he’ll act when you’re late or busy with another person. Fussy. Fussy as hell.

The second you arrive into Kaoru’s designated area you’re greeted with the pink mermaid sitting on his sunning rock, fair and lightly scaled arms crossed over his chest, a frown over his pretty face.

“And where were you? You said you’d be here at 12!”

“Sorry, Kaoru, but I got held up by another mer that I’m also taking care of.”

At your words he frowns harder and turns a bit. “I thought you were strictly taking care of me…,” he pouts.

You snort softly, rolling your eyes as you come closer. “Sorry, Blossom, but you gotta share.”

“Hmph!”

╰┈➤ Kaoru really enjoys when you pamper him a bit. Like combing his hair, trimming his claws, or helping him pick out his old scales, he gets real soft.

╰┈➤ Once completely warmed up to you he’ll get playful with you, so expect him to pull you into the water and or get splashed at. But he won’t do it often and or if you tell him not to, he doesn’t want to ruin your hair (especially if you tell him you just got it do or it took a long time to do).

╰┈➤ Cherry eventually starts gifting you things he finds in the ocean once he’s allowed to branch out from his area. He’ll gift you pristine sand dollars, colorful shells, probably some lost jewelry, and anything else of value. This is of course when the feeling kicks/ed in.

╰┈➤ To show his love for you, he makes your a pearl necklace and the middle pearl is a beautiful black pearl. He wanted an all black pearl necklace but finding those were rare, so he’s just glad to have just one.

╰┈➤ Once he’s able to leave the rescue center, Cherry comes to your place often while also roaming the ocean again. (I imagine you have like a beach hut house(?) and like there’s a way where Kaoru can pop into the house cause there’s like a hole in the living room.)

╰┈➤ Sometimes it sucks that you two can’t do other things together (like walk around town or the beach, go to a restaurant together, etc), but you still love and cherish him and feel lucky he came into your life.

╰┈➤ I’m positive you met his family and friends, and where you sweating bullets? Up to you, lmao 🤣. But they all love you and Kojiro teased Kaoru endlessly.
