I’m gonna choose Arya for this question. Baby would be devastated, not angry though. They’re not a very angry person, they’re pretty measured. They know breakups happen, but it would be their first break up ever and they really love Bobbie. They’d likely shut off for a while and start reconsidering other areas of their life like school and work and who they are and other relationships or rather lack thereof.

Dude i wish i did more with Eva, friends do just drift apart sometimes after high school though. I'm not even sure what i would've done with her unfortunately. wish i developed her character more.

also, i want to do more with Inola and with Amari, that's the plan anyway.

there's not really any where i wish i did less with them.

I’ve given my praises to these two often and I can’t express enough how much I admire their writing skills and the way they handle the unpleasant realities of life so well. Everything they write feels from the heart and real for them. An unbiased approach. Visual I adore how they replicate everyday life and their characters feel real to me. Like people i would meet at work and on the street.

Bobbie: You don’t have to talk about tonight- or the… Bulimia stuff… If you don’t want to right now.

B: … I’m just here if you want me to be.

Dorothy (Dee): I don’t do it because I hate how I look or anything, so don’t fucking project that shit or something.

B: [nervous chortle] Well, I wouldn’t’ve, regardless.

D: It feels… ‘Right’ isn’t the right word. I uh… Before I was doing it from… I guess it started when I was 10.

B: [shocked] What?!

D: I mean- it was more frequent from when we were 12 to 15. Then I stopped and went onto… other things. I’m a fucking addict, okay? I always have to be hurting myself in some grand way.

D: The medicine was making me nauseous before anyway… So, once I physically started getting [finger quotes] ‘better’, and up and doing shit and taking fewer meds? It felt… natural. I love and I hate it. But, I love it more than I hate it most of the time… I don’t want help, okay?

B: Dee… [uneasy sigh] I don’t know if you’re good at hiding shit or everyone is just bad at paying attention.

D: Both?

B: I wish you would’ve come to me about it then.

D: You were just a kid. The hell were you gonna do? Tell Dad? [sarcastic] I’m sure he would’ve been helpful.

B: So were you! … I don’t know. Maybe he would have been? Y’know, it could kill you, especially because of all the other health problems you’ve had. [glancing at Dee, sighing] Of course you do.

B: You still feeling sick?

D: [shrug]

B: God, you’re like a cat.

D: Huh?

B: Well, several things but y’know how they hide pain? They do it for their survival.

D: [nervous laughter]

B: You want to talk about what happened tonight?

D: [flat] No.

B: I don’t care that you were using- I mean, I DO care, but I’m not mad. It’s just that something obviously happened.

B: [pondering] … You mentioned Cason, did something happen with him?

D: [indignant] I said I didn’t want to fucking talk about it!

B: [disheartened] Okay… Well, I’m here.
