this is a rewrite but it’s basically all new 🤧

“NO! NO! SEISHU, IF YOU COME ANYWHERE NEAR MY DRESS WITH THAT THING, I WILL STAB YOU!” Screaming, Mitsuya held the pair of fabric scissors up in threat, standing between you and Inui protectively.

Inui merely clicked the stapler, stepping closer.

“That slit is just so far up.” With a completely straight face, Inui managed to take one more step, despite Draken holding Inui’s waist and Hakkai clinging to the scarred man’s leg, both failing to actually hold him back and prevent a murder.

“Sei, she’s a grown-ass woman, she can wear whatever she wants.” Sighing, Draken tried to pull out the stapler from out of Inui’s hands, to no avail.

“She’s like, what, 25? That’s a child.”

You huffed out a laugh, checking yourself out in the mirror.

“I don’t know, I think my ass looks great.”

All four men shot you a warning look.

“Y/n, don’t push it.” With a warning drawl, Draken tugged on Inui’s waist a little too hard, both of them effectively falling on their asses on top of Hakkai, ignoring his choked cough and loud prayers for death.

You raised an unimpressed eyebrow, both amused and exhausted by the idiots surrounding you.

Mitsuya slowly put the scissors down, eyes still trained on Inui to make sure Draken was holding him firmly, taking a step back as he grabbed the shoes he intended you to wear with the dress without even looking.

Eyes still intensely focused on the two grown-ass men crushing his boyfriend, Mitsuya kneeled in front of you, allowing you to hold onto his shoulders for support as he gently tied the decorative strings of the high heels around your ankles and calves.

“How much do I owe you?” Taking a few steps in the heels, you did a little twirl, much to Inui’s displeasure and Hakkai’s… Probably joy? You couldn’t be sure, all he did to show his approval was a thumbs up, face buried into the carpet of Mitsuya’s studio.

Probably because he was still getting slowly suffocated.

“Just fix my computer next time I need it.” Sighing, Mitsuya pulled on the fabric to straighten it out.

“I’d rather just buy you a new laptop. The one you have is a fucking embarrassment.”

“Hey! My 2005 Dell laptop works perfectly.”

“I will break that thing the first chance I get.” Hakkai muttered, finally managing to crawl out from underneath Inui and Draken.

Mitsuya threw him a scandalised look.

“How dare you?!”

“IT BARELY WORKS!”

“IT WORKS PERFECTLY!”

“It does not.” In unison, all four of you besides Mitsuya agreed.

“I need new friends.”

“Oh, y/n? Takemichi asked me if it’d be okay to drop by your firm on Thursday? He needs some software installed.”

You threw Draken an inquisitive look, confusion clear all over your face.

“I mean, sure, but would Hina allow that? I thought she hated me.”

“Oh, she does,” Mitsuya nodded from the side, patting Hakkai’s head when the taller man started complaining about how horrible Inui and Draken are, “Can you blame her though?”

Sighing a sigh of fake regret, your eyes focused on straightening out your dress.

“Yeah, I can. Not my fault her brother’s a BITCH!”

“Now that you mention it, that cleavage is kinda low too,” Clicking the stapler, Inui tried to get out of Draken’s grip without any actual effort, “I can fix that.”

“SEISHU COME NEAR HER WITH THAT AND I WILL KILL YOU!”

Kakucho was utterly miserable.

He did not want to go to some random girl’s 16th birthday just because her father was one of their more important business partners, but Mikey made it clear it’s not a point of discussion, and not something that could be debated even if was really persistent.

So he went, and all the way there, he couldn’t stop thinking about how miserable that poor kid will be by having a bunch of criminals at her goddamn birthday party.

Her fucking dad rented out a wedding hall.

A motherfucking wedding hall.

He was seated with the rest of Bonten, and there was a sufficient amount of hard liquor at the table, so he counted that as a win.

Mochi and Takeomi apparently managed to get out of this hell by being hospitalised, and Kakucho fucking envied them.

Skipping the beer and wine, he went straight into bourbon, counting Rindou’s miserable look as a sign to pour him a glass too.

“Where’s Mikey?” Glancing around, noting the two empty chairs, he looked at Sanzu, raising an eyebrow.

“Picking up his date.” Stealing Rindou’s glass before he could even touch it, Sanzu downed it fully, patting his boyfriend on the thigh when the older man started complaining.

Ran choked on his drink.

“He’s got a date?” Through coughs, Ran asked in surprise, looking between Rindou and Sanzu, “Mikey? As in, Manjiro Sano? Our boss? A date?”

“That’s what he said.” Shrugging, Sanzu took Kakucho’s drink too.

Kakucho’s eye twitched, but he chose to not cause a scene, pouring himself a new glass.

“Yeah, y/n, she’s a childhood friend.”

Kokonoi, who was up until this point typing on his phone and trying to ignore them all, looked up in alarm.

“He’s bringing y/n?”

“Yup.”

“God help up all.” Rubbing his temples, Kokonoi accepted the drink Kakucho poured him, downing it.

They chatted for another half hour, mostly just throwing around stupid jokes and sharing their utmost misery, when they got a text in the group chat from Mikey.

Mitsuya and Hakkai really are simply the >best< boyfriends you could ever have, at all times, without exception, they are extremely loving, attentive and caring.

Both always include you in all their routine activities, so you are together at all times, Mitsuya usually takes you to his studio along with Hakkai, making you try on various clothes and making you his models.

Despite Hakkai being shy most of the time, he is super cute with you, doing everything to please you and make you happy, he often praises you and takes care of you very well. Mitsuya is clearly extorted, he gives you lots of gifts, sews clothes, stuffed animals and crochets to captivate you, he often encourages Hakkai to be less shy and just be who he is.

They are jealous of you, they can't just ignore this fact, but both strive not to show it, because they both trust you completely. Hakkai and Mitsuya are not jealous of each other, only of other people who show interest in what belongs to them.

Both prefer private places and rarely go out to parties and only take you to a few shows or shows. Mitsuya loves going to fashion shows, for that reason without exception they all go together.

Although he doesn't make it clear, Hakkai definitely appreciates the way in which you and Mitsuya relate to each other physically, and you both find sharing you extremely exciting. They love having you at the same time, even in intimate moments and it's usually one of the only situations that Hakkai puts shyness aside.
