SHARED ROUTINE — suguru getō

pairing: suguru getō x fem!reader.

warnings/content: reader teaches the second years. gojō is a little shit as always. getō and reader shower together but not in a sexual way.

a/n: I know I said I would have posted on monday, but they postponed my exam and I preferred to study a bit more for it, I'm really sorry! hope you enjoy <3

prompt: simple shared nightly routines.

You entered your apartment after a long day at work, leaving your shoes and keys at the entrance.

You stepped in the living room, finding Suguru on the couch with his phone in his hands. Getō was already looking in your direction, his smile widened when he finally saw you.

You mirrored his expression lazily, walking towards him, then you threw yourself atop of him before snuggling into his chest.

"Long day?" he asked chuckling, taking one of his hands in your hair and the other one around you. You nodded, sighing contently at the feeling of his arms around you.

"What about we make dinner together, then take a shower and go to bed?" he asked softly. You pretended to think about it for a second, even if you both knew that this was your favourite way to end a long and tiring day, then you nodded giving him a big smile.

You both got up, and walked together to the kitchen. Getō opened the fridge to see what you could make tonight while you sat on the counter looking at him. Unfortunately the fridge was nearly empty so you opted for some instant noodles you kept for these types of emergencies.

You waited in front of the microwave while both cups were in there, and when they were done, you went back into the living room to sit on the couch.

"How was work?" he asked, as he did every other day, before taking a mouthful of noodles. His gaze was on you, waiting for you to tell him about your day.

"It was tiring. My students were supposed to train with the first years 'cause - you know - the exchange event is in a few weeks.." you stopped to take a bite of your dinner and swallow it before continuing, "It was as simple as that, and it was going well.. until Gojō suddenly decided they weren't training correctly and that they needed a demonstration.."

You stopped again to take another bite while Getō hummed, showing you that he was listening.

"And you would say 'what's wrong with that'," Getō nodded while you continued your speech, having a feeling he might know what happened next.

"What was wrong is that he chose me to demonstrate with him. I obviously refused because I'm not the one who needs training, but then all the first years and second years started to fucking beg because they wanted to see us sparring and I didn't have the strength to tell them no." Your boyfriend chuckled, his predictions were right.

"And the most infuriating part is that Gojō knew it, he did it on purpose and just stared at me grinning while the students all begged me" you continued your story. One day you were going to murder that stupid ass white haired boy.

"So we started, he said 'I'll go easy don't worry', and guess what?" you said, imitating the voice of Gojō, at which Getō let escape another chuckle before answering your question, "He didn't go easy."

"Exactly, he fucking didn't! The only technique that asshole didn't do was domain expansion! I'm surprised I'm still alive and in one piece!" you exaggerated, or perhaps not, it didn't matter.

You proceeded to tell him about your sparring match with Gojō and by the time you finished telling your day both of you had already finished your dinner, so you threw away the empty cups and went directly to the bathroom to take a well earned shower.

You took off all your clothes while the water warmed up and Getō did the same. Once the water was the perfect temperature, you entered the shower, waiting for Suguru to follow you. He didn't, instead he picked up both your clothes and his from the ground. You gave him a confused look.

"I'm going to put them in the washing machine, I'll be back in a second." he said, you nodded and he proceeded to do as he said.

You waited for him, enjoying the feeling of the warm water running down your skin, soothing your sore muscles. You closed your eyes, relaxing after a long day of work, and didn't open them even when you heard Getō entering the bathroom again.

The first thing Getō saw when he was back was you under the shower head hugging yourself, which made him smile a little. He wasted no more time and joined you in the shower. Once he entered, you hugged him, pressing your wet skin and his dry one together. Your arms were around his waist and your head was on his chest, the little smile on Getō's lips widened as he reciprocated your embrace, bringing both arms around your frame. After some minutes like this, you started to wash yourselves.

As usual you washed each other's hair, which you both loved. It was probably your favorite part. You loved when Getō massaged just the right spots, plus he did it with such delicacy that it almost made you fall asleep every time. On the other hand, he loved seeing you struggling to wash his hair properly because it was difficult for you to reach his height, as he was taller than you. He always teased you for this, but deep down he loved it with all his heart. You weren't as good as him, which you both knew, but you always tried your best and he really appreciated that, it made him feel cared for.

When you were finished you both stepped out of the shower. The temperature difference made your skin shiver, so you covered yourself with a towel immediately. Much to your surprise, Getō already grabbed a change for the both of you, he probably did it on his way back to the bathroom when he put your clothes in the washing machine. You dried yourself and changed, your pajamas consisting of an old shirt that previously belonged to Getō and your underwear, while Suguru's consisted in a pair of boxers and sweatpants.

You dried each other's hair, and when it was your turn to dry his, he sat on the toilet so that you didn't have to be on your tiptoes the entire time. Then you proceeded to brush your teeth together in front of the sink, with your hips attached. Once your night routine was done, you made your way in your shared bedroom.

You climbed onto the bed, and Suguru soon followed you after switching off the lights. You moved towards him once he was laying under the covers, wrapping your arms around him and tangling your legs with his, as you did every other night. One of his arms was under your head, probably he wasn't going to feel it in the morning, but he didn't care at all, while he slipped the other under your shirt, wrapping it around your waist.

"Goodnight, love you." you said, sighing contently, ready for a good night of sleep in the arms of your lover.

"Love you too, goodnight." Suguru's answer came soon after as he kissed your head smiling.

He wouldn't trade this for anything in the world.

MOST POPULAR POST – This was written after Michelle Yeoh won a SAG Award for Best Actress and was nominated for an Oscar in the same category. I thought most of her newer fans wouldn't be aware of Tan Sri Dato' Seri Michelle's death-defying stuntwork (I'm really not exaggerating here) during her earlier years as an action hero in 80s and 90s Hong Kong moviedom, so I wrote a piece about it:

FAVORITE POST – Do I really have to choose? Top of my own list is the most popular post above, but I'm going to list another one that was just a Phupha-whisker away in second place, and it's the OS2 x BBS filming locations:

I love research and analysis, and tracking down the Bad Buddy filming locations was especially fulfilling because it combined the opportunity for me to exercise my bloodhound instincts and also find out more about this show that I love so much. (The locations were not very well-credited in the original BBS, unlike later GMMTV offerings, so it was very satisfying hunting down mystery BBS locales based almost solely on visual clues.) I've got almost the whole list of BBS locations now, although I've yet to post the last few (which are minor locations only).

So I'm very proud of the work I've done on identifying the BBS filming locations – and also a little alarmed at how powerful Google plus a bit of logical deduction can be.

Stay safe on the Internet people! Don't ever reveal too much private information about yourself, because my time doing this and other location posts has shown me that online info can all be tracked down and consolidated to identify what might have seemed to be pretty well-hidden at the start. Which bodes ominously for privacy and safety, online or off. 👀

FAVORITE POST – OK, so the Nong Nao post above is quite my favorite for July 2023, but it also shares that spot atop my list of faves with this reply to a Bad Buddy Ask from @pandasmagorica about Pat and Pran's emotionally-laden verbal zingers on the Ep.5 rooftop, before they took that step forward beyond the point of no return and fell into The Kiss™:

It's not just about how well the dialogue was written, or how well Ohm and Nanon brought the scene to life. Part of why this post is special to me is because the scene demonstrates how well-crafted BBS actually is, with an underlying logic and consistency that holds up no matter how hard you prod and poke at it (which, for the record, wasn't quite the case for OS2 x BBS). When you can analyze the characters, their actions and reactions in-depth as though they are real people with real motivations, and no inauthenticity shows through, you know there's been a whole lot of deep-rooted work sunk into it. I'm still in awe of what Khun Noppharnach has wrought. 👀

But there's another reason why this post is also one of my faves, and it's rather more personal.

It's because this Ask is the first one where @pandasmagorica lifted the Anon veil to use his own Tumblr name. And that was when I felt I'd made a new friend right here on Tumblr. 😍 I'm actually quite reticent in real-life, so I don't make friends easily – but I do treasure the friendships I have once made (even though I can be pretty bad at staying in touch; doesn't mean the feelings aren't there still – far from it). I'd learnt to recognize @pandasmagorica's voice even when his Asks were anonymous, and this particular Ask made my heart swell with happiness. So even though we haven't communicated directly in some time, dear @pandasmagorica, please know that you're still a treasured friend to me! 💖

MOST POPULAR POST – This was a bit of throwaway fluff, an assembling of images pointing out the visual similarity between a promotional poster for Only Friends (on the same day as the show's debut, which was 12 August 2023) and a poster for the iconic 1990s sitcom Friends:

Image posts and zingy hot takes always garner likes and reblogs so much more easily than long, thought-driven essays on Tumblr, especially when they ride on a wave of hype (as this one did, on the absolute tsunami welling for Only Friends). Doesn't mean the post or the series are really anything of substance though! 😂

FAVORITE POST – I have more than one in August 2023, and they were momentous for me. 🤩 The first is my analysis (loving, yet incontrovertibly loopy to the point of near-lunacy) explaining my finding why Director Aof put the incongruous Baseball Mom t-shirt on Pat in Bad Buddy Episode 5. Anyway, my other favorite post for August 2023 is also dear to me because it points out some very clever visual rhetoric in Be My Favorite that was carefully woven into a particular scene, taking up the clarion call for marriage equality in Thailand:

Screenwriter/director Waa Waasuthep Ketpetch really piled on the magic into this one scene. It was fun to pick it apart and look at all the different elements, within what was otherwise an only somewhat complex and not too challenging series (that still managed to be highly entertaining nonetheless). 😍

My MOST POPULAR POST and my FAVORITE POST are one and the same, which was an apology to any legitimate Tumblr user I might have blocked (as were facing yet another onslaught of porn bots with believable names suddenly following our Tumblr blogs):

I then got a few snarky comments (from people whose names I didn't recognize) letting me know that people whom I've blocked can't read the post. 😮

But that's not exactly true (this is Tumblr after all). 🤣

I've since found out that if you've been blocked, you can still view the blog that blocked you, as long as you read it in blog view but not dashboard view.

If you've been blocked, here are some salient points to know:

You can't search for that blog on Tumblr (but Tumblr's search function is pretty much rubbish anyway, and you can still find the blog with a Google search).

If you know the name of the blog, then typing the URL (in the address bar) using blog view format (as opposed to dashboard view format) will still bring you there. For the difference between blog view and dashboard view (using my own Tumblr as an example) – typing telomeke.tumblr.com into the address bar will take you to my Tumblr in blog view, while typing tumblr.com/telomeke into the address bar will open my blog in dashboard view. You can still view my Archive (if I haven't hidden it) and read my posts, even if I've blocked you.

This one should be obvious – you can't like, comment on or reblog any of a blog's posts if that blog has blocked you. You can't DM that blog either. You can send Asks, but they will not be received. And that's part of the delicious irony that Tumblr bestows if you block any hater troll from your blog – you can continue posting everything that set them off in the first place, and they will still be able to see it, but they can no longer send any negativity your way. (You can also troll them back with impunity, but why waste precious time and energy like that? You won't know if they've seen your trolling, just that they can. 🤷‍♂️)

Asking to be unblocked is a bit trickier if you've been mistaken for a bot and inadvertently blocked. You'll need to ask a friend with a Tumblr account to request the unblocking on your behalf, or you'll need to set up a new Tumblr account just to send in this new Ask/message.

Anyway, the point of my post above was to let newbies know how important it is to humanize your blog, so as not to be mistaken for a bot and blocked – it would be especially rueful if the blog that blocked you (thinking you were a bot) was one you followed because you liked the content in there!

FAVORITE POST – @pandasmagorica sent me an Ask about PatPran's sex life in Bad Buddy, and this was a fun look at the physical side of their love (that they, and Director Aof, kept mostly hidden from view):

Because BBS is extremely self-referential, part of me now thinks they kept so much of PatPran's sex life under wraps in order to squeak by the ratings – this is what the cookout scene with Junior in Ep.11 seems to be telling us, IMO.

And they succeeded in getting a 13+ age rating, allowing Bad Buddy's message about LGBTQ+ positivity and growing into your authentic queer self to reach exactly the audience demographic that needs it (and of course even beyond them too 😊).

FAVORITE POST – I'm cackling with fairy godfather glee because I got to inflict the warm fuzzies on people in the Bad Buddy fandom, by helping them relive their first time watching The Epic Rooftop Kiss in BBS Ep.5 (on the two-year anniversary of that event).

YouTuber "Chib" had put together an absolutely genius montage of a myriad reaction videos to The Kiss™, and my post was simply a link to it. But the ensemble of gasps and outpouring of unbridled emotion onscreen had so vividly brought back memories of my own first time watching PatPran's rooftop moment that I just knew I had to share it. I think Bad Buddy fans who watch the video will absolutely see themselves in it:

MOST POPULAR POST – The Sign really happened in a big way when December 2023 came around, and my most popular post is testament to that. I wrote about the naga and garuda mythology underpinning the narrative (hat tip to @respectthepetty for getting the ball rolling 👍) and the subject seems to have resonated with a lot of viewers because the post is still getting notes a month later:

Evil jellyfish (Tharn's pet name for Phaya, a mistranslation of the Thai แมงกะพรุนไฟ that actually means fire jellyfish, which is a nod at the flames of the garuda);

Nong Khai, naga fireballs and the dance of adversaries;

More naga and garuda references in Ep.4 (although the storytelling had become a bit muddled by then).

Introduction post

I wanted to give a bit of an introduction to why I'm here, what I'm doing and so on.

tl;dr: I like clothes and I'm into sustainability, so I started (visible) mending a few month or so ago. I also crochet, although not as much as I'd like to, and I dabble a bit in embroidery. My goal is to kind of document my journey with these crafts and maybe inspire people to give some of these a try.

I'd also love to talk about all things (visible) mending, crochet, embroidery and fiber arts in general and share the knowledge I have / point people who want to start to some resources that helped me.

I've been into fashion/clothes and styling them on and off for a big part of my life. A few years ago, I also got into sustainability, learning about how buying new fast fashion damages our planet and exploits other human beings, and what may be good alternatives.

This path, inevatibly, lead down to getting curious about mending. I learned basic sewing skills when I was a child, but I never altered any clothes and apart from a few tiny things never mended anything.

However, this year, I wanted to change that. I've heard about visible mending before and I really liked it. I had a pair of jeans when I was a teenager that was patched (by someone else) that was my favourite pair. Unfortunately, I managed to ruin it beyond repair and also grew out of it, but this stuck with me. I always liked to express myself creatively, and in recent years, what I wear has become a big part of that. The idea that by visibly mending my clothes I express my passion for sustainability feels really good (and punk!) to me. The idea of altering clothes that I don't currently love but could love if something about them was changed is also a nice one.

I only darned my first sock a few months ago. My goal with this blog is to share this first darn as well as the progress I make, because I want to encourage other people. You don't have to make perfect mends to be sustainable. On the contrary, mend imperfectly, mend messy, but DO MEND. Even if you'll have to redo it at one point, when you have more skill, even if you don't end up redoing it and instead use that piece of clothing for something else, you still gave it another wear, or two, or three (or fifty) - and that's what this is all about.

I tend to be an extreme perfectionist and it's hard for me to deal with a situation where I'm not perfect at a first try. Surprise surprise, I am not when it comes to mending, or embroidery, or crochet, or anything at all really. But I'm trying to let that go and concentrate on what I achieve rather than what I did "wrong" or imperfectly. I want to share my messy bits and the things I'm proud of, and I want to update how the mends I did held up. As i mentioned above, I hope that maybe I'll inspire some people to pick up a needle as well. Even if you "only" fix that button or a ripped up seam. Every mend counts!

When I get into altering or even making clothes, I will share those projects too, but that will have to wait a bit since I don't currently have any space to put up my sewing machine and I do simply not have the energy nor patience to hand sew bigger things.

Apart from mending I also crochet. Talking more about that feels like a bit of an overkill here, I'll make a new post for that.

Recently I also started to embroider, with the idea of using embroidery in my (visible) mending and to embellish clothes. Here again I decided on a project where I just start and don't try to be perfect from the beginning on, I'll share more about that as well as my crochet project(s) soon.

I think this should be enough for the moment with the introduction. One thing about me, as you probably got by now, is that I'm really bad at being brief with my writing. I have no idea how often I will manage to make posts on here due to work and life, but I will try to do them quiet regularly, as well as sharing things I see that might be helpful / interesting / that inspire me. I also think I'll probably only write more for bigger projects but also just share stuff I'm working on / finished recently.

Maybe I'll also share other DIYs that are not really crafts/fiber arts related but I think are cool.

This isn't my main blog (thats @merryfromthestars), so if I follow I follow from there.

I'm also always open to questions, discussions etc. so just send me an ask or dm if you want! Just, I might take a moment to answer them, because life and work :) I'm excited to see where this journey takes me, and I hope some people will come along and maybe get inspired.

Hey, I can tell there’s no malice behind your ask, but — don’t do that.

I write fanfiction myself, and a lot goes into it:

1. Unreasonable amounts of ✨ Time and Effort ✨

Just the other day, my WIP kept me up until 2 AM, because I wanted it to be neatly polished before even sending it to my beta readers (@paracosmicfawn and @dragongutsixofficial). The first thing I did the following morning was re-read it again, to correct any typos and inconsistencies my tired brain might have missed the night prior.

2. Research and analysis

For a cute little Lukadrien scene I wrote with my ✨ awesome girlfriend ✨ — something that was never even going to be published — I went through a dozen different sources trying to get a better understanding of what meditation actually is and to capture the philosophy behind it accurately. This does not make me special — all authors do it out of dedication and love for their craft, but it’s energy that could be spent doing literally anything else, especially when you consider how horrifyingly lonely the writing process can be (see point 1).

Also, there’s a reason I spend so much time making analysis posts on Silly Little Blorbos who do not exist! It gets my brain running and allows me to sharpen my understanding of the characters, so I can write them properly in my works.

3. A unique perspective on the characters, the source media, and life in general

Which gives all the flavour to my favourite AO3 works out there.

Like, yes, that extract you sent in your follow-up ask is cute, I guess, but it’s also incredibly generic:

When actual living breathing human (or Senti) beings share their work with you, they’re inviting you to a special part of their brain that they’ve decorated with their own experiences, references and visuals — things that they love and passed onto their favourite characters, so they can hopefully reach you. For instance, Character AI would never have had the genius idea to compare Felix’s eyes to an aurora borealis; this could have only sparked from @wackus-bonkus-maximus’ brain. Similarly, my version of Felix will often reference works of art and literature that left a strong impact on me as a child — an impact I’m sure can also be sensed in my approach to storytelling and even in the way I structure sentences and paragraphs.

Which leads me to my final and most important point:

4. EMOTIONAL BAGGAGE™

Because let’s be real — there’s a reason our brains latch onto certain characters, and said reasons aren’t always sunshine and rainbows. I’ve cried more writing about the Senticousins than over the loss of certain people or relationships in my own life. Long before that, I latched onto Clive and gave him everything I felt was missing from my life as a teenager, so I could live vicariously through him. And of course, I always make my characters some flavour of queer, because for a long time this was the only outlet I got for my own feelings and identity.

It takes a lot of vulnerability to put all of this on the Internet for others to read and judge, and it’s very disheartening to see that people would rather ask a machine to spit out some easily digestible but impersonal interactions than give your work a chance.

I can guarantee there are beautiful pieces of fanwork out there that will cater to your tastes and haunt you for years in a way Character AI or Chat GPT never could. And the good news is — if you don’t find anything, it means it’s time to write it yourself!

And of course, I cannot end this post without encouraging everyone to read about the writers’ and actors’ strike currently unfolding in the US.

I’ve been happily dragged into the French Revolution, do you have any recommendations on where to start learning about this??? My brain doesn’t hold French names very well so I literally only know Robespierre and the dude that got killed in the bath

OH NO my enthusiasm has caught on, welcome to the insane drama that is French Revolution 😆

So if you're able to listen to podcasts, I feel like Grey History is a good place to start because it paints a really good picture of the situation, culture and feelings of the public leading up to the revolution.

It then delves in a straightforward timeline into the various events during the revolution and gives all the different points of view from each side (there's so many different 'sides' it's a lot like modern day politics where everyone is quite divided in their motivations).

So I feel like it's a good starting point before going into the many books, that in contrast tend to look at more individual moments without giving much overall context.

If you'd prefer reading books to listening, I'm reading currently 'Liberty or Death' by Peter McFee which also (so far, I haven't finished it) feels also like something that is painting a good overall picture in a straightforward timeline, and giving loads of cultural context that helps you understand various people's motivations and actions.

My favourite book in English that I've read so far is 'Twelve Who Ruled'- but it's very specific to the one 'reign of terror' year which is pretty far along in the first part of the revolution. But I think I would recc reading this anyway- you might not understand all the context but it's so riveting I think it helps you see why the topic and people involved are so fascinating.

As I'm not an academic/easily remembers facts kind of person, I really like that it so vividly painted a messy situation in a story telling kind of way, without being particularly biased to any side. Each politicians very different personality shines through, which is one element of Frev that makes it so interesting. It also does a great job of sharing in this story telling way, the overall culture at the time, psychology/sociology of the public and individuals, and various messy af situations that had to be dealt with.

It basically breaks down really well something horrific and complicated so that you understand how it came to be that way, and how people ended up making the decisions they made. Also, SO much drama in this one year, so many friendships broken down, so much back stabbing lol

Outside of that, I think actually the online community is really amazing and there's so many people on here translating stuff into English and answering questions to info that is normally scattered across several books/archival information, and then these amazing ppl just like bring it together in Tumblr posts. Looking through the Frev tag is a good way to piece together all the various details when you're just starting out.

This was quite a writing year for me. I wrote only four stories, but I'm quite proud of all of them. To Love Somebody was my first foray in rare pairs. An angsty backstory for Shadwell, and what made him the way he is. It has an hopeful ending, and I'm quite proud of the structure, and how much I managed to squeeze into the small word count. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun is a short and wholesome outsider pov story I wrote for an event. I was surprised how much people liked it! It was also my first attempt on present tense, which continued in A Stable Relationship, one of my FTH stories for this year (the second one will probably be a bit late, and be completed in January). I had fun writing it, and it turned out to be a good one, and the only one of these oneshots that was Explicit. It was set in horse riding world.

The reason why I wrote only three oneshots, and why my second FTH piece is late, was of course my favourite story of all time: Be Still My Soul trilogy. A human AU story set in the sad moments of Finnish history.

Despite the class differences, landowner Azirafel Fjäll and sawmill worker Anton Crowley have been friends since childhood. The Great War rages over Europe and the Empire of Russia is in the firm grip of a revolution. The echoes of these fateful events carry over to the Grand Duchy of Finland, vaguely sauntering towards independence. Azirafel and Crowley find themselves on the opposite sides of a conflict that will eventually lead to a bitter civil war, tearing the country apart.

Is there a possibility for them to find their own side, or will this be the end of their budding love story?

I started writing the third part in January, and finished it just before S2 aired in July. It finished posting in October, and it's now complete and done, though I'm still commissioning art for it. This story took over my life for over two years, and it's my baby. I've had such a hard time to let go of it! It also has its own blog @be-still-my-soul-fanfic where I posted dozens of posts about historical and cultural facts. The story is written in a way you don't need to know anything of the Finnish history beforehand (my American betas made sure of that). It's a lovestory, not a history lesson, BUT if you want to learn more, there's a lot of extra info available 😅

I think it's the best story I've ever written (and probably ever will). Many readers have agreed, but it's angsty with very heavy themes until the happy ending, so it's not for everyone and I think posting it just when S2 aired cut some of the potential readers. The third part of the trilogy is now five kudos shy of 100 kudos, and I'm hoping it could get past that milestone before new years. 😂 So yeah, my own personal favourite gets the least interaction of them all. Oh well.

I'm gonna sound a bit self-absorbed, but I'm proud I finished it and it turned out even better than I hoped. My dream would be to print a physical copy or to record a podfic of that, but both might be a bit too much work.

For the next year I have two zine fics to finish, and I have applied to a third one. I have one event fic in the works as well, but the FTH story will be the one I'll concentrate until it's done. It's an oneshot human AU which somehow grew limbs and now it's 7.6k words and nowhere near done 😱 That's my holiday project.

when did you watch bad buddy/join the fandom?

I started watching Bad Buddy almost from the start, after a friend told me Ohm had a new series out. I went into it pretty blind, not knowing anything at all about its history or genesis. I'd liked Ohm's work in He's Coming to Me and was open to more from him, not thinking the series would be anything more than your run-of-the-mill BL. And was I ever wrong! I think BBS sort of grew slowly on me for the first few episodes, but it really took hold after Nanon's single tear at the end of Ep.4. And I lost it after The Kiss at the end of Ep.5, of course. The no-holds barred obsession really set in after I realized this wasn't any ordinary BL; it works on so many levels and the intelligence with which it was crafted is formidable.

PatPran does it for me.

Favourite character/s

Love them all, but introvert Pran with his protective walls, defensive rituals and surreptitious signposting of his emotional state with doodles and symbols really struck a chord. Pre-Ep.10 Pran was like an extreme version of younger me, I sometimes think.

Favourite episode/s

Episode 11 – I love everything about the beach, and the two of them alone by the sea was like my idea of paradise. But I nodded sagely along when BBS gently pointed out that their beachside idyll was just a temporary respite and that paradise doesn't exist on Earth.

Favourite scene/s

Oof. So many. My all-time favorite is the opening scene of Episode 5 (see this link here for why) because it was layered so deep with meaning and messaging, beneath the happy surface theatrics. I sometimes think of BBS as one giant and intricate puzzle, and if you find and fit together the right puzzle pieces it reveals so much more to you. The amazing thing is that it kept doing this over and over again. Like how many themes and allegories can this one series have? But if you want to disregard all of that and just enjoy it as a well-crafted BL with stellar acting, you can too. And that is also part of its magic.

Some other scenes that still give me the chills:

Deeply-pining Pran looking on at an oblivious Pat sleeping peacefully in Ep.4 [4/4]; I've been there and I know exactly how his heart must have been rent in two at that moment.

The Kiss in Ep.5 of course.

Pat finding out in Ep.10 that Ming wasn't the unimpeachable hero that he thought he was.

Pran missing Dissaya in Ep.11 (this is because I still miss my late mom with all my heart; the grief is going to be a forever guest there I fear – you just learn to pack it away in a box and put it away in a quiet room in your heart, but it breaks free every now and then, just to stare at me silently with its unknowable face).

When Our Song plays in Ep.11 (especially when Uncle Tong does his voiceover and the soaring guitar solo kicks in, and then we see Pat and Pran back in front of their houses, bracing themselves to face their families again).

Ah that award-winning scene on the balconies in Ep.12, when Pat and Pran indulge in a joyful, all-smiles tin-can conversation for old times' sake, play-acting at being strangers, and then dastardly Director Aof toys with our hearts once again and has the music crescendo as he morphs them back into their kiddie selves dressed in the same clothes to show us that the bond between the two scamps had always been there, forged since childhood, and that they were never really enemies throughout it all. And amidst the nostalgia we're suddenly engulfed in a wave of bittersweet emotions imagining all the what-ifs and if-onlys and what-might-have-beens had those poor little tykes not been forced into that meaningless rivalry by their warring parents. But as the camera pans away we hear their young voices piping in the night, still innocent and so full of hope, reminding us that when those two little boys grew up they still managed to find a way to triumph over all the pitiless hurt imposed on them. And how privileged we were to have been able to share in the story of their journey.

One thing you would change about the show if you could

I've thought so much about this show, it's not just one thing. And don't get me wrong; I'm not tearing it down or hurling brickbats at this series I love so much. It just irks the Perfectionist Pran side of me that something so beautiful, deep, intelligent and heartfelt also has its little flaws here and there.

I think they could have done a better job helping us understand how and why PatPran's competitive dynamic launched them so suddenly into the madcap bet in Ep.7. The cinematography was inconsistent in a lot of parts. The English subtitling (especially of Ep.5) could have clarified some things, but instead made them more confusing. And Pat getting shot may have been necessary on an intellectual level, to nod at some trope, theme or other literary preoccupation perhaps. But the narrative didn't really need that moment of conflict and I felt BBS tipped over into unnecessary melodrama at that point.

A song that makes you think of BBS (not in the show)

My obsessive mind can't let go of this song (I've written about it several times now) but Never (ไม่เคย) by 25Hours devastatingly captures the quiet grief over losing that special someone in your life (and tells us what Pat must have been going through post-separation from Pran in high school). Pat mentions it at Ep.5 [3I4] 0.35 but it isn't played in the show. I've got it on repeat now, and am well on my way to memorizing the lyrics.

I hate two characters, Dobby and Umbridge and since I'm not allowed to say my favourite thing about Dobby was when he met his end I'm left with very little to say. I suppose it's admirable how neither of them ever succumbed to beauty standards. I'm partially amused by Dobby's fashion sense and I suppose one could admire that Umbridge has committed to just being a nasty cunt through and through, it must be tiring to be such a warm turd of a person all the time. That's all you're getting from me, sorry

Whatever I'm reading at the time! And sometimes even a movie or something (though since I rarely watch those, I rarely get inspiration from that). I also just get very inspired by all the people in this fandom who create things for us all, whether it's writing, artwork, text posts, edits, cosplays, funny videos etc.

Bad grammar or like,, sentences that don't make sense. Even faster if it's both. Or just entire blocks of text, I just can't do it.

Snatching up the open tag from @i-can-even-burn-salad and will make this one an open tag, also. Feel free to tag me if you do it.

I really need to make a list of people who would like to be tagged in stuff...

I can only do one WIP at a time, so of course this is for Dark Water, though I might re-do this for another WIP that I have in mind.

This got long, the rest of it (and the template) are under the cut.

What was the first part of your wip that you created?

Dark Water actually started as a present day one-shot where I was exploring the idea of a whumpee held captive on a small boat (think a personal one-man sailing boat), Adair and Moss both came from that. It eventually fell flat, but I still really enjoyed the concept and the characters. Once I put them in the right time period, everything else started revealing itself.

2. If your story was a TV show, what would the theme song/intro be?

This song was on REPEAT when I started it. Pretty sure it made it on my Spotify Wrapped that year.

3. Who are your favourite characters you've made? Why?

Moss: he's been through a lot, and has plenty of reasons to be angry and to just give up but keeps going anyway. He's more stubborn than optimistic, basically of the thought that if he casts a wide enough net then hes bound to catch something. His determination usually goes too far and ends up hurting himself, and others, in the process.

Isidro: loves his mom, loves his family, but was kept away from them due to no fault of his own but earned the self-loathing through all of his choices since then.

Theodora: She's strong, logical, a hard worker and self-reliant, all good and amazing things... when balanced. Unfortunately, she lives in a world that doesn't allow her to be anything else at the threat of her own survival.

Isola: She's emotionally cold, and tenacious for personal gain. She understands her place in the world, and where most would feel pangs of guilt or even second-guess their actions, she's unapologetic and convinced she's 100% right in her brutality. She's fun to write, fun to think about, and fun to describe. (the moment where her feet are up on a table with her boots dripping blood was in my mind for ages and I WILL get that commissioned someday. I have a mighty need.)

4. What other pieces of media do you think would share a fan base for your story?

I... don't know :,) . I'm really bad at following current and trending stuff because I have limited time when I'm not working, and I'd rather write than do anything else.

Low hanging fruit would be Pirates of the Caribbean, if you also like the idea of Davy Jones being a human woman. That's not spoilers, that's just how I see her.

5. What has been your biggest struggle with your wip?

The same struggle with every WIP... pacing. If I do a more official edit for Dark Water, that'll be what I tackle first.

6. Are there any animals in your story? Talk about them!

Ghost - Isidro's horse, is a brown mare with white front feet. His best friend, essentially.

Theodora's horses are unnamed, also her best friends.

A dog named Crow who will come up eventually. I've had the chapter where he comes up written for a long time because I needed to get it out of my head. I posted a sentence from that chapter forever ago thinking I only had a few chapters to go before getting there... the novel had other plans.

7. How do your characters get around? (ex: trains, horses, cars, dragons, etc.)

On foot or by horse... or unwillingly being pulled behind a horse on foot :)

8. What part of your wip are you working on rn?

The end of the second arc, ramping up to the beginning of the third. I'm on the cusp, like the moment before the rollercoaster begins going down, just sitting up there like... well this is taking forever, but the words aren't wording.

9. What aspects (tropes, maybe?) of your wip do you think will draw people in?

Sad wet cat of a man, buff but sad women, PIRATES, aroace main character who has a lot of displaced anger... sword fights.

10. What are your hopes for your wip?

That people will read it and go 'hell yeah' sometimes.

🍓 how did you get into writing fanfiction?

i discovered fanfiction when i was a wee 12/13 year old. in middle school i was obsessed with harry potter, and so i ended up reading tons and tons of harry potter fanfics after school, and what a wonderful new world it was!! people write stories about things that didn't happen in canon but wish they did?? people write romantic stuff between characters?? these characters... kiss??? needless to say i was glued to the italian fanfic website. i developed an obsession for stories involving hermione granger and fred weasley, because pairing up a goody-two-shoes and a goofball has always melted my heart, and eventually this obsession made me go like "wait, i can write something like this myself!!" and so i did. they weren't good. they really weren't. but i had so much fun. the moment i entered high school and realized that my writing was nothing special i stopped :( i kept comparing myself to others and it stopped making writing fanfic fun. i kept reading, though, and eventually commander erwin smith made me find the joy in writing again heheh (and this was also my first time writing reader inserts)

🌿 give some advice on writer's block and low creativity.

oh man, i wish i has some actual advice!! usually these things work for me:

- if you have even the smallest idea for a story in general or for a specific chapter, write it down, bc reading through those small ideas might reignite the inspiration;

- reread your past works / works by your fav writers to help you get the creative juices flowing;

- do NOT force yourself to write if you can already feel it's not the right moment for it, it's supposed to be a fun pasttime, not a chore;

- outline your whole story/chapter first in bullet points, and then do the same thing for each scene, so that it feels less daunting or overwhelming.

maybe they're not revolutionary pieces of advice, but yeah 😔 typically i try not to force myself and to wait for the right moment to come on its own

🍄 share a headcanon for one of your favourite ships or pairings.

i don't think levi was illiterate before joining the scouts, but i do think erwin helped him learn more proper/refined vocabulary and write in cursive. those nights are what allowed them to truly get that close post-acwnr.

6. What ship(s) captured your heart?

Hopefully 2024 is the year I share more of them, but it would definitely be Cahir and Celeste. There's so much growth in their dynamic, from two people who meet as bitter enemies when he captures her in Cintra. Cahir absolutely falls first, and it takes Celeste a long time to fully return his feelings due to his role in the Fall of Cintra, which he's completely aware of and feels constant guilt for. They just have such a rich and complex relationship, and the way their dynamic grows into one of love, trust and respect from where it began is incredibly special to me.

7. What character(s) captured your heart?

Another character I am yet to post a fic for, but it would be Vesper Rafferty. She's an absolute mess, ex-drug addict daughter of Soldier Boy and Crimson Countess with troubled, traumatic teenage years. But she goes through so much growth as a person, not to mention fighting against the self-sabotaging ways in which she tends to cope with things. Her relationships with Annie and Hughie are both incredibly special to her, and she does form other unlikely bonds as she searches for love and acceptance, when all she's had in the past is being manipulated and used.

8. Did you write for a new fandom or ship this year?

I did, and it was an unexpected one! I am admittedly not the biggest anime fan, so when I watched the live action adaptation of One Piece, I was amazed by how much I loved the characters. Creating Alix Rose was the next step in that evolution, and her dynamic with Mihawk is a really fun one.

“A whore. How original.” She laughed mirthlessly. “Better than you. A liar. A false knight. An oathbreaker.”

“Have you no shame, Lady Dayne?”

“None,” she said gleefully, tilting her head to the side as she inspected him, “Although, I cannot begin to think why that might bother you.”

Criston sneered. “Considering the company you keep, I should not be surprised.”

“I keep excellent company these days.” Demelza took a step closer, craning her neck back to smirk up at him. “Mayhaps you have not heard that my brother Lindon is the Dornish ambassador now.”

“I’m aware.” Criston’s tone was clipped as he clasped his hands behind his back. “Though I doubt that will change anything. You will continue to behave as you see fit. Do you still find freedom in the beds of other men?”

“I certainly didn’t find it with you,” Demelza said coolly, relishing the way the words made Criston flinch. She did not care if she was cruel to him. They had long passed the stage where such hurtful words uttered to him would make her toss and turn at night.

30. What’s something that you want to write in 2024?

With the second season of House of the Dragon approaching, I'm hoping to catch Demelza's fic up to end of season 1 events. Mariel's is a little trickier since technically her fic begins after the events of season 1, but I also want to write more of her since she and Aemond are such an intriguing pair.

The post about Emin crying due to being alone on the holidays broke my heart a bit, so if it is alright could I ask for some Christmas stuff (headcannons/dribbles/fic/whatever you like) for when Emin does have a s/o to spend the holidays with?

● He is unbelievably excited to be spending a holiday season with you. The poor Subway Boss squeezes you into a hug, and literally thanks you for staying with him, and likely begins to cry a little. He's overcome with strong emotions about everything. Please comfort him and remind him to schedule ahead for a day off. He will forget and then be heartbroken about having to work.

○ Emin basically begs you to help decorate with him, his big eyes staring desperately into you. You couldn't dare tell such a sweet man, “no.” He enters his talkative mood while you both work getting everything up. He's giddy as you hang up garlands, wreaths and bring out other decorative pieces. As you work together to place ornaments on the tree, he sighs happily. You don't miss how his arms comes around you, and he rests his head upon your shoulder. There's a dreamy, distant look on his face.

● Elesa sighs at the sight of you and him in matching sweaters. He's proudly at your side in it with a bright grin on his face. You seemingly had accepted your fate to match with him and leaned against him. Emin had always had a strange urge to match with someone who was finally fulfilled. His arm comes around you tightly. Elesa would later describe his expression as teetering on smug.

○ He cooks so much for you. This guy is working to make a full-course meal when it's just going to be the two of you (and maybe Elesa if she has the time herself). Emin had started cooking more after you both started dating, wanting to repay you for doing the same for him, but now he's gone a bit overboard. You take a place beside him in the kitchen to help him cook, and the day ends up passing into the evening before you both realise it. The meal, as it turns out, was actually also for his Depot Agents. A quiet meal for you two and something nice for the poor workers still out on Christmas. They all cheered for their boss when he brought you and the food to the station.

● He also makes you hot chocolate eagerly. It's smothered in whipped cream, but is perfectly mixed between a certain bitter chocolate flavour and sweetness. Emin is blushing when you tell him how wonderful it is. Your compliments mean the world to him. He teaches you how he makes it happily.

○ His favourite thing, however, is clearly the gift giving portion. You watched as boxes piled up under the tree through the month. A few were from you to him or your friends and family, but many were from him to you and his friends and family. It was clear this was something that excited him heavily. (He admits that it used to be all he could really do while working, but is excited to finally give gifts out properly.)

● You visit his parents, who are clearly overjoyed to see their son so happy. His mom pecks a sweet kiss on his cheek and hugs you tightly. She thanks you for making him so happy and helping to end his seemingly endless loneliness. Emin is deeply flustered by all her actions and words. Especially when she shares about having to tell Emin that the special Delibird wasn't real. “Oh, he was thirteen and so sad! He acted like we had completely betrayed him,” she recounted and pulled out a photo album of Emin in his youth, “Next year he became our prince of darkness.” Goth Emin in a Delibird hat made you laugh more than it should.

○ On the evening of Christmas day, he nervously held out a gift to you. It was small and wrapped wonderfully. The feeling of unwrapping it was a bit cruel yet exciting. Finally, opening the box revealed two plane tickets. “Ah… See, you mentioned being concerned with me working too much, right?” he nervously told you, “S-so I thought it might be a verrrrry good idea to go on a vacation. Together. To Alola!” You giggled at his reaction and placed a loving kiss to his lips. “That sounds wonderful… Are you sure your Joltiks will be okay without you, though?” you asked, recalling his odd fascination with breeding the arachnids. He smiled brightly and nodded. “Elesa said she'd be more than happy to help… She wants me to take some time off, too,” he explained. You took his hands in yours and sighed. Resting your forehead to his, you both felt at ease.

Open letter to @katarinahime ♥️

This is way harder than I thought it would be.

This letter should have been posted on Friday the 15th of July, because on this day, you’ve been laid to rest.

Katarina, I wished I could have been there to give you a proper farewell, a goodbye you deserved.

I wish I could have told @quacehiko personally how incredibly sorry I am, that you’re gone.

I wish I could’ve told your parents, kids, grandparents, siblings, cousins, friends how sorry I am, and how incredibly loved you’ve been and still are.

I wish I could have told you personally how inspiring you’ve been, how incredibly talented and gifted you’ve been.

I told you so much that you’re pretty, that you’re gifted and that I’m a true fan of your writing style. I hope you knew I meant every single word.

I still have your stories saved in my computer and I will never ever deleted them. Those are pieces of you I will forever cherish.

For the people who didn’t knew you well, Katarina was a super proud Catholic, and even tho I’m not very familiar with the Catholic Church I know what the bible says about the the death, about hurt and comfort, and even if some of you aren’t that religious, I would still like to share some verses. I hope you would’ve liked it.

This gives me so much hope to meet you one day again my dearest Katarina, to give you a ridiculous Mama Bear hug and to finally tell you how loved you’ve been, and how the people around you missed you so very much and to tell you about the void you left behind.

Katarina, I swear that I’ll never forget you, and I’m positive that I’m not the only one. As long as we live, you’ll live as well.

Someone once told me that our memories are like mirrors, and thanks to them we’ll be able to see our loved ones as often as we want to, and I think that’s beautiful. That’s what we all should do. Open our hearts and remember your funny postings, or your writings.

We should use that time now to be thankful for you. To be thankful that we had the chance to get to know you through your writing style and your stories. We should also use that time now to forgive ourselves and our probably irrational fear That we might have failed you.

I hope you knew how loved you’ve been, and that you deserved everything good in this world, my dear Katarinahime ♥️

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

109! The Hetalia fics are posted under a different psued, so they don’t all always show up

2. What's your total AO3 word count?

3. What fandoms do you write for?

These days mostly One Piece

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

1) Learning to Listen (ZoSan as pain sharing soulmates)

2) Keeping Secrets (Zosan is the worst best kept secret of the Straw Hat pirates)

3) Is technically Call It What You Want, but since I’m basically riding the coattails of 7 much better writers for that, we’ll skip it and say The Proper Reaction (ZoSan au where Sanji brings Zoro home for Christmas to meet Zeff)

4) Hold Me Closer (Zosan, anesthesia makes Zoro forget he’s married to the love of his life, fluff ensues)

5) The Love I Need to See Me Through (ZoSan au where King Zoro kidnaps Prince Sanji)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

Not really, mostly because I’m very shy and responded with “thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it” all the time makes me anxious. I’ll reply if someone asks a question.

6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

Hard to say, since I mostly like happy endings, but probably the ao3 version of the murder mystery because Spoilers.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Hard to say since again since I like happy endings, most of them end pretty happy. Probably The Christmas Swap, since i was going for “hallmark movie but incredibly gay” and got to make the brothers more accepting thanks to that premise.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Occasionally, but not really. There’s been one persistent anon lately, but I’m wise to their game

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I don’t! I might in the future if the plot calls for it, but we’ll see

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?

Yes, sometimes! There’s a Kingdom Hearts/Legend of Zelda Epic I’ve been planning since I was like 14 that I want to write one day, but if all the ones I’ve published probably the Hetalia/Ace Attorney crossover.

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Thankfully no, or not that I know of

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! There’s a Russian translation for Bounty Troubles, and a Chinese translation for the first part of Learning to Listen. I think there are more but I can’t find the links

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

Yes! As mentioned I worked on Call It What You Want with some friends, and I worked on This Is How You Lose the Time War with my friend Haru! It was fun writing with them

14. What's your all-time favourite ship?

Probably ZoSan at this point, there just so versatile and fun to shove in Situations

15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?

There’s this au where Sanji never left Germa and became there spy and is now on Alabasta causing problems on purpose fic I’ve been chipping away at for years, but who knows maybe someday it’ll be finished

16. What are your writing strengths?

I’m great at dialog, coming up with ideas, and fixing plot holes

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

Too many commas, can’t describe shit, reuse the same ideas and phrases, and I can’t stop editing as I go

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?

I’ve done it! I only speak English so I got some outside help, but I think it’s very effective if the POV can’t understand the language

19. First fandom you wrote for?

Technically powerpuff girls, but that was just for my friends. That I posted online Legend of Zelda, but all those fics are gone now

20. Favourite fic you've ever written?

Fade Away! I didn’t think I was a good enough writer for the idea when I started, but I wrote it anyway, and as I did I became better

I was intrigued and amused and inspired by all the comments on your Maglor playlist post. Would love to see the final list if you want to share!

Thank you so much @sallysavestheday, you’ve given me a reason to finish my Maglor playlist and go off about it! It’s mostly classical music instrumental with a focus on strings, plus a bit of opera, hymns and bluegrass for spice. I am making a bit of a route (libretto?), because I have made it chronological to his arc and put too much thought into it.

Here's the breakdown, with highlights:

Prelude - Technically two different pieces, Zoe Keating’s lovely, lonely strings in Seven League Boot, and then a big operatic start with Agon’s prelude. A prelude for a prelude is kind of cheating, I admit.

For the Valinor period - I wanted to start with the purest, most charming of virtuosity, with a sly edge increasing. Strauss stuff mostly, I thought, and some Valinor-worthy religious pieces. The Agnus Dei might be too much, but in my defence: it is very pretty.

The Unrest of the Noldor - Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, and I'm not even sorry about it.

The First Kinslaying, the Burning of the Ships, the Siege of Angband - This is the one song I knew I had to use when I started the playlist. Listz's Mephisto Waltz, which is not strings technically, but is one of my old favourites.

The Rescue of Maedhros - the well-titled Emotional Violin and Strings Concerto.

The Gap of Maglor and the Long Peace - Dvorak’s Rusalka Op. 114, as I headcanon the Long Peace as a period of cultural revisionism and the sort of folklore adaptation 19th century Romantics loved. La Traditora. Fadinho Picado! I can’t resist adding the Portuguese guitar, and it’s the sort of style that develops best in isolated, fraught circumstances. Ends with Vivaldi’s Cello Concerto in E Minor, II Alegro - which has a funereal, flight-like hurry, to tie in the narrow escape from dragon fire.

The Dagor Bragollach - in earnest now. Or, Maglor invents atonality, to cope! It had to be the Second Viennese School. Schoenberg Chamber Symphon nº 1, op 9, a shameless jump to adagio. Schoenberg & co. should start making appearances whenever things get worse, but tbh? I do not like Schoenberg, so I did not invest a lot on him.

The Lay of Leithian - Quinto Passagio, a pretty fast, anxious, layered harp piece - somewhere far away in the dark, Finrod’s song is coming to an end, and his old duet companion feels strangely uneasy.

Nirnaeth Arnoediad - First a big conquering song, Beethoven’s Lenore Overture (II), and then Adam Hurt’s Forsaken, which articulate well enough together in this context. I am actually pretty proud of as choices - might reconsider if I find better, more epic battle songs that aren’t already in use in the Russingon playlist . Followed by Minha Alma on the guitar, for when the sons of Feanor are scattered like leaves in the wind.

The Ruin of Doriath - Schubert’s String Quartet nº 4 in D Minor, the Allegro. Deceitfully pretty with bursts of force, very repetitive, it does bring the sense of a cycle of violence, by the second minute becomes a siege. I just realized it could have been Vivaldi’s Winter! Well, never mind.

The Sacking of Sirion - Shaskotovich Cello Concert nª 1 in E Flat. This is Kurtag’s quartets in the Elwing/Earendil playlist - I tried not to repeat, but the influence is there in the cello-as-horror genre.

Capturing Elros and Elrond - Paganini’s compelling, unnerving, pitying, pitiful Caprice nª 24 - it works, and not just because of the title. Followed by an almost idyllic part, from Carmen’s Act III, Entr’acte - it really is an in-between acts moment. Again, Zoe Keating on the contemporary violin for Optimist, which despite the name is full of tension. I chose it regarding the conversation with Maedhros, and as a tie-in with the inevitable fate foretold in Seven League Boots, also Keating’s right at the start.

Forth Kisnlaying, Maedhros’ Death, the burning of the Silmarills - Maglor’s fun psychic break is also a genre break! Our one and only not-classical entry, with I am a Man of Constant Sorrow, by the Soggy Bottom Boys.

Wanders ever by the sea - I admit, searching for songs for this was my favourite part. I’m partial to Sillaba’s Na on the kora, Rob Korb’s Sea-Swept cliffs. Also Ricardo Parreira again, now with Meditando.

The End: Phillip Glass's sparse, involving harp composition, in Metamorphosis II - a lot of enjoyable space to dwell on whatever Maglor might become, lamenting by the thankless sea.

In conclusion: I hope this is enjoyable! I like how it is now, but might review it a little bit (the Feast of Reuniting is missing, Maedhros deserves a song of his own here at least), before presenting it as part of the Spring into Arda event, which started this in first place early this month. Not enough harp, maybe? If anyone has harp recs, please do share.
