Halloween Time!!!

Welcome to the Halloween AU! Here I will be posting an AU throughout the month on this blog. I will have art/writing prompts for each week that I will be following for the month, anyone else is free to join! Tag me!

Week 1 I will have prompts for the “set up” for Halloween. Like decorating or baking. I’ve added optional/additional prompts for fun.

Week 2 will have some fun activities, like a movie night or scary story telling. The option extra for week 2 is costume photos.

Week 3 will be late fall activities, a corn maze and haunted house. The optional for this week is a hayride.

Week 4 will be the celebration, a party or costume contest, with the optional Halloween dance.

Mechanic VS Glamrocks

It's dark and damp where you are cornered, the only light you can actually see with coming from the bright overhead light in the protective cylinder. Your breathing is quick, and your pulse quickens. You thought that working with the Glamrocks would be fun. Cool, even. This is something from straight out of your nightmares.

Three of the main four have you surrounded in Parts and Service. Roxy and Chica are standing guard on either side of the door to the cylinder, but the angry green gator is the one that has you trapped here. Freddy is nowhere to be seen, but you know if the fatherly tempered bear was here, you wouldn't be subjected to this!

You wipe the sweat forming on your brow and squirm. You just wish for this, this torture to end!

"Monty, please!" Your plead and it falls on deaf ears… microphone? Whatever the animatronics use to hear with. You could almost cry. The unshed tears of strife were stinging, and threatening to fall, but you had just enough pride to keep them at bay…for now.

You couldn't keep doing this, you couldn't take it!

Monty looks at you cruelly and bellows a laugh that echoes within the metal of his casing and the cylinder itself, amused by your apparent discomfort. Chica and Roxanne are cackling at your expense, as if your pain were funny to them. It probably was, thinking about it. They wouldn't have been so amused otherwise, you think to yourself.

You're getting to a point where you are uncomfortable. You thought the Glamrocks were supposed to be nice. Kind. Cared about the feelings of others. The treatment you're getting now is nothing short of cruelty, of barbaric-ness, of insanity!

It was like they had all gone mad, and their only objective was to kill you.

Monty blasts Take Me On louder from his speaker. You bite your lip.

"This is so stupid! You always pick the songs I can't resist!" You whine, your arms elbow deep in robotic gator guts. He had fallen, again, into the marsh in Gator Golf and had filled up with dirty, disgusting water. Monty was now propped up on the huge chair in the protective cylinder and you were doing your damnedest to dry him out and save him from any lasting water damage.

"Go ahead, Mechanic, you're gonna lose anyway." Monty says cockily with a laugh.

You and the Glamrocks were playing the usual game of 'IF YOU SING OR DANCE ALONG TO THIS SONG, YOU LOSE A KIDNEY!'. Except no actual kidneys are in danger. Only your pride.

"You're getting a free show, stop complaining so much." Roxy quips after she rights herself. She begins primping, fluffing her fluffy white hair and using the glass of the cylinder like a mirror. She began effectively ignoring everyone in favor of admiring her reflection, losing her amusement in anything outside of herself.

Chica squawks loudly after a couple minutes, and flaps her arms like her real life counterpart, knocking over cans of oil, paint and air duster, startling everyone. "Ohh! Oh, Monty play this one, play this one!" She stills, sending him a link through the animatronic only network, you assume. It was the only time they go unnaturally still like that, unless they are charging or powered off. You just got done checking over Chica, so you know she had full battery and no cause to just randomly turn off at the drop of a hat.

Monty nods, wicked smile forming on his minimally moving maw. You don't think you're going to like what's to come.

Music and theatre have always been your thing. You were still a theatre kid at heart, dramatic and over the top, and you sung like a canary, especially when you were alone, down in Parts and Service by yourself, flittering around after closing. Trying not to disturb the public with your 'off tune screeching' as Moon liked to call it.

You would just belt out whatever song was wracking around in your brain. It was almost like you had a playlist in your head, cocked and loaded for you to pick and choose from. The Glamrocks, on stage and off, have only added to your growing list. You still love it though, and it's one of your favorite things about working with literal rockstars.

It's also you're least favorite.

Even if you don't really know a certain song, if it has a good enough beat, you kind of have to just vibe with it. It puts you in the mind of Freddy and his programming to jam out on DJ Music Man's dancefloor. You have joked that you have the same programming.

Did that mean you were any good at it? Absolutely not. You admit, you are mid at best. Try telling your heart that, though. You heart believed itself to be a rockstar of the same caliber you're working on.

So now, you were wiggling in place, trying to stay still and stay focused while getting the water out of Monty's deep chest, and dry out his wiring before he started short circuiting. That meant very delicate work, which meant that you had to take your time which meant that your head had to be next to his speaker, where he could blast every song you loved and you wouldn't be able to get away, lest leaving him to rust.

You flex and curl your toes and do controlled breathing to try and work through it.

You were a third of the way done by the time he finds the next song.

"Damned copyrights." Monty curses while the song loads. He, along with all the animatronics, are hooked up to the Plex's WIFI and can access any music streaming app there is. The only catch is that they may access any music but can't play any music. Labels being afraid of the Band stealing songs for their shows or something. So, Monty had to go and find some unofficial lyric video or fan-imation project so he could play the song.

You start to laugh, calming down enough to effectively work. "Yeah, you almost had me the-"

Careless Whisper plays. Loudly.

You scream. You cry. You gag. You beg.

You lose yourself to the tune of Careless Whisper. Twice.

You slam Monty's chest plate shut. It took you an hour and a half to finish a twenty minute job. You are still a little bit proud of yourself, given such harsh working conditions.

The Glamrocks go to leave, filing out one-by-one and you go about cleaning up your mess. Monty pops his head back into the cylinder. "Hey, Mechanic, you want some singin' lessons? You were a lil' flat back 'ere." You throw the shop towel in your hand at the gator. He catches it flawlessly.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever! Don't try to fall into the swamp water next time." You quip with a smile.

The towel hits you in the back of the head forcefully enough to knock you forward.

Looking through my old posts and oh my god I was so right

If Roxy remains the best animatronic mechanic in the Plex, and thus, the safest person to go to when a fault develops or something breaks, then she really would be the first to know about every crush in the Pizzaplex.

Think about it! They come to her and they’re like “Rox, you’ve gotta help me! I’ve been getting all nervous, and my systems feel all warm and squishy, and I can’t stop thinking about them! What the fuck is wrong with me?!” and whatnot and she gets to sit there and listen to them ramble about their crush for thirty minutes waiting to see when or if the penny drops and they realise what’s going on.

She could build it up too. Gives them a full exam, tests everything she can and then explains that it’s most likely an emotional problem, not a physical one. Say, do these things ever happen around a certain person? Oh, wow... you’re right that’s sooo weird...

Honestly kind of love the idea of the Glamrocks in the human au being the brand of 'fit' where they look really nice and have a lot of muscle definition but are not actually that strong, it's more for looking nice

Then there's Sun and Moon who are absolute twigs but will casually lift a good fourth of the play structures up one handed and not even think about it that much. Also bonus if it's the brand of 'fit' where there's not a whole lot to show off unless the muscle is actually in use or just flexed. Though I do think it'd be funny if everyone was like 'Ha, stick man' and meanwhile Sun is walking around with several kids hanging off of him and doesn't seem all that encumbered

I imagine they're all pretty strong, but Sun and Moon are definitely a Lot stronger than people think, plus they play up the weakness as a way to seem less threatening (and For the Bit).

Glamrock Chica IS the best animatronic out of Roxy, Monty, and herself, YES I can elaborate, NO I do not take criticism.

#“she has the least personality” yes and that's the best part #she's UNCANNY. she's creepy because she has an empty personality and LACKS any real LIFE #her voice is the most robotic. her movement is the most robotic #but she's also the most realistic. like if those animatronics existed they'd be Chica #hollow. empty. imitating personality but fundamentally lacking it #AND HER SHATTERED FORM? THE BEST #1. I like her design 2. The Security Breach sillies!! Been meaning to post them for a while so here :) Headcanons under Keep Reading!

- The most advanced of all the generations, the animatronics use complex AI learning making them the most lifelike and sentient robots even outside of Fazbear entertainment. Each has unique personalities that can be moulded and changed by outside factors.

- The designs are made to capitalise on 80s nostalgia, taking inspirations from fashion of the time and utilising a vaporwave aesthetic. To hark back to previous generations, the animatronics are designed to look as though they have a face plate. The mechanical parts are also mostly hidden by complex joints to give them a more lifelike appearance.

- The Daycare Attendant is actually the most primitive in terms of technical ability and design. Fazbear Entertainment were able to find some of Henry and William’s scrapped designs, which were changed very little for the final product. Originally designed for the theatre, a last minute change meant that the animatronic would be used for the daycare. Although its ability to change its appearance is a marvel, it being based on design plans from the 70s means that they are prone to damages, needing almost constant maintenance. Even so, the Daycare Attendant is one of the most popular animatronics amongst customers.

- Glamrock Chica is the smallest animatronics of this generation. Fazbear Entertainment learnt very little since the early days, and once again programmed her to consume actual food. Like her 1st Gen counterpart, she is prone to having rotten food, maggots and cockroaches inside her. In this AU, she has the Valley Girl accent.

- Monty Gator is considered the strongest of all the animatronics. He is also one of the most aggressive. This is because he was originally programmed to be a ‘sore loser’ in Monty Golf, however a bug in the complex AI learning morphed this into excessive anger issues. He can easily knock down heavy displays and claw his way through gates. He was originally designed to be the mascot for the golfing area, however after the disappearance of Bonnie he was reprogrammed to become the new member of the band. His golfing motif still persists in his outfit.

- Roxanne Wolf’s outfit is inspired by racing gear, with her also acting as the mascot for the short lived hairdressing service. She is fully capable of cutting and styling her. In all their wisdom, Fazbear Entertainment programmed her to have anxiety and confidence issues to make her more relatable to teenagers. This has backfired massively, with Roxy’s AI learning exacerbating these qualities.

- Glamrock Freddy successfully won over fans after years of mixed opinions on the company’s mascot. With him being the mascot of Fazzer Blast, he has an alien motif in his outfit. Programmed to be best friends with Bonnie, the AI learning has developed this bond into something more. He misses him greatly.

- Glamrock Bonnie was laid back, playful and sassy. He was decommissioned by Monty. However, Monty was taken over by Vanessa’s programming, as a test to see if said programming worked. Monty has no recollection of this. Parts of Bonnie were used to reconstruct Afton

I have been thinking a lot about RUIN lately and the reasons for why some things are true. The biggest thing that has been bugging my mind is how are Freddy and Monty still active? All of the animatronics are messed up, but the two are special cases.

Yes- they are both extremely wrecked, however, I am focused on 2 major issues: Freddy, his head, and Monty, his legs. Or, well, their lack-there-of. Both of them are missing key components to operate.

Talking about Freddy first, in Security Breach we see in both the Princess Quest Ending as well as immediately before to the initial Parts 'n' Service repair minigame that he is fully functional as just a head.

This tells us that his AI, battery [as seen in the Van Ending], voice box and all other essential parts of him are located there. Because of this, we can make the assumption that Prototype Freddy has none of these. Without his head, Freddy should be completely out of order.

Moving onto Monty, we see in his Decommissioning Scene that he gets broken in half, losing his legs. Since he is still able to move around at first glance, he seems more-or-less functionable.

However, we know that the animatronics charge via the Charging Stations located around the Pizzaplex. From what we see, it appears they charge through their soles.

Without his legs, it is quite literally almost impossible for him to charge. Freddy can at least charge through his ears, but Monty has no appendages showing from his head. His hair is not metal [like Roxy's], and unfortunately, it can be assumed it is nonconductive. Without a charging source, he will eventually lose power and stop working.

From looking at the damage, abandoned construction and graffiti, my guess is that RUIN comes out at least one year after Security Breach. By this time, there is no doubt that the animatronics have needed to charge. Since there is running water, it can be assumed that there is also electricity.

So, since it is completely improbable that Freddy and Monty could still be active, why are they? My conclusion is that the Virus is stored in their mechanisms, not their internal systems. Freddy states in the True Ending of Security Breach that he is able to hear his friends in turmoil, meaning their AIs are not affected by the Virus.

This is why I believe Monty is so rabid in RUIN. His AI is most likely hibernating from lack of charge, so right now his body only has the Virus moving him around. This is why he only growls and never speaks, as well as why he has no self-preservation and will slam into walls left and right- he has no AI active to articulate sentences or to alert him to things outside of his directive.
