Izuku Midoriya worked hard to become a symbol of hope for the Quirk users of his time, fighting against a government that saw his family as little more than criminals.
Now, he awakens to a time not his own, a dazed and confused 15-year-old boy in a world that no longer needs him.
All Might knew he needed to find a successor. He just wasn’t expecting said successor to bang him in the head with a shield that belonged in their world’s history museum.
All for One just wants his son back.

12 Days of DadMight: A December Event!
An Event is HERE! Here's the TL:DR.
What's the Event Called?: 12 Days of Dadmight
When does the event take place?: December 14th - December 25th
When are the Angst Days: December 14th - December 19th
When are the Fluff Days: December 20th - December 25th

How would I describe the Event?
“12 Days of Dadmight” is a Christmas Event for the enjoyers of the relationship between Toshinori and Izuku (aka Dadmight). It’s one of my personal favorite relationships in MHA, so I decided for Christmas to turn it into an event for others like me!
While everyone knows the typically “12 Days of Christmas” song, this event comes with a twist. My personal favorite fic tag, is Hurt/Comfort- and the event reflects this!
Fluff is fun, however, I wanted to give our angst-lovers a treat as well! So, the first 6 days of the event are for our angst creators. Post an angsty dadmight fanfic or artwork if that’s what tickles your fancy! I want to cry myself to sleep.
That’s not to say I don’t love fluff! What is angst without fluff??? The last 6 days of the event are for the fluff creators. Post a fluffy fic or artwork! Make my cheeks hurt from smiling so hard!
Submission Rules:
Must be following my tumblr at @eyesoffthemaud
Produced pieces must include DadMight; particularly Izuku and Toshinori Yagi - other characters definitely may be included, but the main focus would be the relationship between both Izuku and Toshinori.
There is no limit on entries for this event. By submitting any piece(s) for the event, you are eligible for the prize. However, this does not mean that participating in all 12 days guarantees a win for the event.
Writers:
Minimum word count for fics: 1000 words
When submitting your writing, submit it to the collection (LINKED HERE) if your work isn’t in the collection. I haven't seen it.
Please add the tag, 12DaysofDadmightAngst or 12DaysofDadmightFluff to your piece as an indicator of what category you’re submitting your piece to.
Artists:
Art must be fully colored, simple sketches would be loved dearly but would not qualify for prize runnings.
When submitting your art, tag me @eyesoffthemaud. If your art has been reblogged then I have most definitely seen it. If I haven’t interacted with it in some way- I cannot guarantee that I have seen it.

Submission Timeframe:
All Submissions must be posted between December 14th through December 25th.
Late submissions are welcomed, but not encouraged.
There will be an official announcement when the event submission period has closed for judging. After that, any submissions after that announcement will not be considered for the prize.

Fics and Artwork should definitely not contain anything NSFW.
Heavy Gore is personally welcomed by me. However, I heavily discourage the showing, referencing, description, and/or usage of needles of any sort. This is an extreme phobia of mine, and as the event runner, it’s something I personally cannot handle. Please keep this in mind when writing/drawing- I wouldn't make this a rule if it truly didn't trigger my phobia.
This is not a Dekumight event. I swear. If you submit a Dekumight work to this event, I'm not only blocking you but blacklisting you from literally any and all events I ever choose to run in the future.
Prizes:
There are total 4 “winners” for the event
2 writers, 1 from the fluff submissions and 1 from the angst submissions received
2 artists, 1 from the fluff submissions and 1 from the angst submissions received
The prize that each winner will receive is 1 Full Body/Full Render commission from my wonderful spouse @mcfanely! Each winner gets 1 art piece just for them!

Additional Information

Knuckles took deep breaths, trying to calm his racing heart.
The crowd moved and pushed past him, laughing and calling out to each other, their voices merging to become almost a solid presence. The overlay of music didn’t help matters, tinny and sharp in his ears, and he grit his teeth as the noise settled on him like an uncomfortable sweater.
Speaking of, he hooked a finger into the collar of the one he wore. Amy had made it for him, a gift of love and kindness, and although he wasn’t much for wearing clothing, he’d pulled it over his head the moment he saw her eyes light up at his acceptance of it. It was holiday themed, she said, and contained images of chao, the Master Emerald, and his own white crescent mark. He wasn’t as familiar with the holidays of the surface, so he took her word for it. All he knew was that it was warm, a little tight in the neck area, and a thoughtful gift from one of his truest friends. She was very much like a sister to him, just as much as Sonic and Tails were like brothers.
Even if he would never tell the hedgehog that unless under the influence of torture.
The echidna looked around himself, trying to pick a familiar face out of the sea of Mobians surrounding him. The winter festival was a favorite of many, and Station Square went all out to celebrate. Bright, colorful decorations hung from the street lights and buildings, and business windows displayed seasonal wares and offerings. Gift-giving seemed to be the theme of this particular time of year, and he felt a pang of regret and guilt that he had nothing to offer his friends.
A small cloud appeared before him as he let out his breath in a huff. Despite the chill in the air, he was almost sweating. The crowd around him gave off heat, a live heat, one that seemed almost oppressive. He tugged at the neck of his sweater again.

If I had a dollar for every time I liked a character who had less than five minutes of screen time, had a name that started with ‘Yo’ and ‘Ichi’, is already dead but still appears to the main character in dreams, I’d have two dollars but it’s still weird that it happened twice.
AFO appears to be having a bad time dealing with Yoichi/Yoriichi.

Izuku lifted his heels for take off and began to float. Gran Torino’s cape billowed behind his back as tendrils of Blackwhip reinforced his arm. His muscles rippled with raw power as he readied his fist parallel to the bony torso before him.
And All Might himself—he dangled before his own chosen successor like a fragile wind chime clanging during a thunderstorm.
They have managed to rescue Izuku from All For One, but what comes after is a long and winding road to fully thwarting the supervillain’s claim over their beloved One For All holder.

Summary: Just because Present Mic is the English teacher at UA didn't mean that Eraserhead couldn't speak it too. But when Present Mic spoke English, he spoke it with the American accent he had learned from his mother, and when Eraserhead spoke English, he spoke it with the posh contemporary accent of his British tutor. The first time class 1-A ever hears their homeroom teacher speak English is during an undercover mission, and the kids simply can't help finding it hilarious.
Author's notes: This fic was another commission from my dear friend @mcfanely <3 all of her ideas are simply immaculate and I just love writing Aizawa and class 1-A centric fics for her. The dynamic is just too good. We were talking about the possibility of aizawa having a British accent one day and this fic sprung to life from that!

A Snapping Sound

He swears his heart stops beating in his chest, and time has frozen over. Black bleeds into his vision and all he can see, all he can feel, is the mind numbing pain lancing through his face as his nose cracks and crunches, the entire front of his skull shattering like a glass mosaic against the pavement, his vision giving out and his breath catching in heaving, wet, aching lungs that are failing him as he screams-
“S-stop, stop!” Midoriya’s breathy voice somehow manages to break through the ringing in his head, instantly, painfully, dragging Shouta from the cold, dark depths of the memory, forcing him to breach the surface of the present, “Please- I’ll go with you, just don’t- please let them go.”
“No!” Shouta shouts, vaguely aware that he can hear the thudding of fists meeting unforgiving flesh, and an angry, muffled roar somewhere above him that must belong to Bakugou.
Aizawa and Bakugou are forced to watch as Midoriya slowly falls apart.

If you like angst, if you adore amazing writing and spot on characterisation, if you want an amazingly developing fic by a very talented author; you need to read this! I've had this post sitting in my drafts from around the middle of December, since it had gotten to the point where I'd basically done no substantial art for a good few weeks; and now staring at this post again at the end of December with an unfinished commission on my iPad that I'd hoped I'd have done by the end of November - I thought it would be a good idea to logically think about how to deal with things in the near future, and subsequently make a decision which is painful but also the right one for me right now.
Things aren't really going well currently, alongside a few medical issues in the family, and work and not sleeping well being the sorta base problems I've been dealing with for a few months, I've not exactly been feeling much of anything recently and it's just getting worse. Anxiety and depression is a general thing that I've lived with for years, but right now it's just kicking my ass in a way I haven't experienced before and I'm floundering so much, I'm just floating through days and barely remembering them, and I'm aware I'm disassociating a lot of the time and I feel like I'm drowning-
So I need to step back from art, to take at least one thing off my plate so I'm not extremely stressed over something I thoroughly enjoy.
FYI There are event prizes that I will 100% honour, those aren't going to be put aside. And the two commissions I have going right now will be continued till completion.
Yet as for general commissions and my own art overall, there's no motivation there. I hope to hell there will be a love for it soon (and dammit I'm sure there will be) but right now I'm not exactly enjoying much at all, art is just a thing that I usually love so much - it's what I use to relax, I used to do it for hours in a day and love every second and now, I think I've done maybe two hours of it over the past month overall?
Know that I am so, so damn sorry, god I just hoped that I'd be better by this time but I've never felt worse - I'm so sorry that I'm having to step back from commissions that people would have been excited for, I'm sorry that you've trusted me with your lovely ideas and I'm just not able to provide them anymore
If you do have a commission slot with me, and are willing to wait until I eventually decide to open my commissions again, then do message me and I'll put you on a list for the first slots I have available when I reopen them
This will definitely not be forever, I promise it won't because I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have art in my life. But consistently telling people that I'm unable to honour their commission slot as a new month rolls around is in no way fair, not when there are many artists that have their commissions open and can provide a service that I'm currently unable to give
I'm going to spend an hour or so getting in touch with those who have commissions with me and giving some big apologies, but this is just an umbrella post to keep people looped in as to why I'm probably not going to be active much with posting art or the like, I'll be back, I will, but I need time away from things and I'm very sorry
This was very long winded, whether you read it or not, thank you so much for just enjoying what I do! It always means the world to see the support I have for my art and I'm sorry I have to let you down like this
I'll still be here, active over socials, just a lot quieter, and hopefully getting better
I hope you all understand 💙 love you all, and again, I'm extremely sorry for this situation 💙💙
