Idea: Izuku has All for One but it doesn't awaken until the sludge villain incident. specifically when he runs to save Bakugou. This means that multiple heroes, and probably the news, and a large selection of the public all saw izu yoink a quirk. I imagine what results is some form of hijinks involving every villain org in Japan going after our poor Deku!
Not just the villain organizations. The HPSC would kill to get their hands on such power (and I mean that literally.)
Assuming this is Dad for One, then All for One would scare off a lot of the villains from going after Izuku. The major players know better than to mess with the Demon King of the Underworld. Instead it would be mostly minor villains who've never heard of All for One and Humarise. Because 1. Humarise is a death cult that knows no fear; and 2. They are desperate to get their quirks removed.
If this is not Dad for One (after all, you didn't specify) then All for One is the number one person out to grab Izuku as the perfect new body for himself.

Thank you so much! I love how this commission turned out. The ghostly shading is perfect. It's fun to see Yoichi and Izuku getting along.
Izuku the friendly ghost
Huge thanks to @aimportantdragoncollector for commissioning me to make this piece for A Story Forgotten (Retold)
I had so much fun making Izuku's vestige design. The smoke was new for me, and I don't often use monochromatic palettes, so this was a fun challenge!

Whoa those aliens really screwed up. And they had faced consequences except someone telling them to stop using the tags. It's too painfully realistic.
Someone needs to call Death Worlder Izuku to pulverize these kidnappers.
Please, 5 headcanons for an AU where Yoichi and All for One survived alone on the streets as babies because they were something other than human.
You can pick any nonhuman creature but if you don't have ideas here are some suggestions:
-All for One was a manifestation of Yoichi's quirk like Dark Shadow. Yoichi unconsciously created him to keep himself safe.
-They were kitsunes (or some other Japanese mythological creature)
-They are half god (pantheon of your choice)
-They're aliens (based off the in-canon theory that quirks originated from an alien lifeform)
1- Gushima Satoyo was in her last semester of college when she was abducted by aliens. Satoyo didn't know it at the time: she was knocked out as the aliens- who are basically their planet's equivalent of grad students themselves- did a health scan. They realized she was a few weeks pregnant, but there was something unusual in their growth. A bit of research told them that this species could have multiple births, but it was rare and dangerous. Without their intervention, the smaller fetus wouldn't make it, and the bigger one only had slightly better odds. So they intervened, checked over the rest of her, tagged her arm so others would know she'd been seen and they could track her, then returned her where they got her.
2- except... It wasn't exactly where she'd been taken from. And it was weeks later. When Satoyo finally made it back home, she'd been assumed to have run away, she'd missed all her exams and been dropped from school, her boyfriend had moved on with her best friend and roommate, and her family had freaked out about her possible breakdown and or death. She was glad to be back home at first, but her family smothered her, still half grieving , and no one believed she didn't know what happened, had been terrified to wake up somewhere else. But her family would rather send her to a hospital than back to school, so, she actually does run away.
3- the tag on her arm are strange spikey bumps, but they don't really hurt and she can't afford a hospital, so Satoyo does what she needs to be able to afford a hotel most nights. It's tricky, to get a job without an address, even not taking into account the lack of degree or experience. Then, she realizes she's pregnant. She actually been pregnant for seven months, but the alien treatment has kept her from noticing any symptoms till now- and a month later she collapses, going into labor.
4- the tag wouldn't have mutated into a quirk in any species of beetle or most species of fish- so the aliens had little reason to expect an effect on humans. But the tag plus their treatment did- the babies are born with white hair and pupils, and one baby has inverted tag spikes in his palms, the other hidden inside his body, inside his bones. They don't require only milk, like normal humans do. They can hold their breath, have improved motor skills. The babies survive what they never should have been able to.
5- a year and a half before the glowing baby was born, the man that would be their father was kidnapped by a set of aliens too. In fact, a lot of early quirk users either were kidnapped themselves, or the children of people who were. AfO can steal the quirks of people born to the ex-lab rats, and anyone who was tagged by an alien group using the same brand of tags as what he got, but not anyone who was directly experimented on by aliens using another brand. Don't worry he gets around that by just killing those people, and soon there isn't a lot of people in that category anyway. Partly because how many he killed, but also partly because after a few alien authorities saw the tags were clearly messing up the life forms on earth, they told the students they couldn't use it anymore. But even though they left, quirks persist, a strange reaction to the alien tags, contagious and lingering in the genes... Not that anyone really knows that's how it happened. Maybe Nedzu suspects.

Imagine an AU where AFO has never met Garaki and with each generation of OFA users that passes, AFO's Body becomes increasingly old and fragile
Interesting idea! I think AFO would have focused on body stealing much sooner. He doesn't have Garaki to help, so he'd be looking for a body stealing quirk.
If he succeeds then he can do all kinds of interesting stuff, like try to steal the body of an OFA holder successor in training to get the quirk. If he fails, then I guess Hikage emerges from the forest to find AFO already in a nursing home.

Just a week to go! I'm excited to post my entries. Also I've been loving the ask game.
Middle May!
A contest that takes place all of May, dedicated to Hikage Shinomori, Daigoro Banjo, and En. (I'm calling it Middle May because they're like the forgotten middle children of OFA Users.)
And I'm starting a new ask game, from now until the 30th. Give me a prompt and I'll give you at least 5 headcanons or you can just ask me something in general about users 4-6.
The contest has two categories, art and writing. Winners will be picked from each one and get a prize.
Overall Contest Rules:
No AI
Either Hikage, Banjo, or En (or some combination of the three) must be the main focus of the art/fic
Nothing explicit since I'm ace and feel like I would subconsciously rank it lower, which wouldn't be fair
You can submit multiple entries into both categories, but only one will be picked.
I often forget time zones exist, so you can start submitting by May 1st 12:00 AM UTC if you want
The contest ends May 31st so you can submit until 11:59 PM May 31st UTC
Art Contest Rules:
Actually, not a lot that isn't already covered by the overall rules. As long it's clear who the characters are and what's happening, it'll be fine.
Writing Contest Rules:
Again, not a whole lot that isn't already covered by overall rules. It must have a word count of at least 533 words (because the average of 4, 5, and 6 is 5.3 get it?).
Prize Rules:
I'll be writing fics as a prize. Give me a prompt and I'll write it. But -
Nothing explicit. As mentioned before I'm ace and don't feel comfortable nor capable of writing that.
If it's something else I don't think I'm capable of writing, I'll ask for a different one.
The top 3 can request up to 3 different prompts from me. Runners-up get 2, and honorable mentions get 1 prompt
This time they'll all be one-shots, I promise.
Other:
Don't hesitate to ask questions about anything!
Submission: To submit an entry, just @ me or send it through the inbox and say it's your entry for Middle May. And also tag it Middle May.

IDEA!!!!
AFO steals an immortality quirk while he is young. More specifically a quirk that prevents aging. So OFA is instead AFO's babysitter because a superpowerful child needs a superpowerful minder
A much happier AU! Yoichi is horrified when he first realizes his brother doesn't age. He has no idea what a bullet he just dodged.
Let's say that AFO got stuck around age five because he has to be very young to predate when he went evil. AFO gives Yoichi many more powerful quirks since now Yoichi is the one protecting and providing for them both. Since he's still an idealist, Yoichi joins the vigilantes as a youth. Second and Third adore little All for One. (His ego is much cuter when he's five.)
I'm sure they tried to persuade All for One to pass on the quirk so that he could grow up. But All for One discovered he liked everyone doting on him, and he'd have to get a job if he grew up, so he pretended he couldn't.
Without any supervillains to ruin everything, the trio lived long and happy lives. They asked their adopted kid Hikage Shinomori to look after little All for One after they passed. He's still a bit of a terror so they need to give Hikage One for All so that he has enough strong quirks to control a superpowered child. For plot convenience, One for All includes a body strengthening power so the holders don't die premmaturely.
After Yoichi's death, All for One was inconsolable but calmed down when he realized Yoichi's vestige was inside One for All. He's been clingy with all the holders ever since, viewing them as extensions of his brother.
All for One keeps getting passed down between the holders. In Toshinori's era, there was some trouble with the HPSC trying to kidnap him. But overall society is more peaceful. Nana is still alive by canon time to see Toshinori become number one hero.
After being selected as the Ninth, Izuku becomes close to little All for One and actually persuades him it would be fun to grow older and attend school. He finally lets go of the quirk. I'm sure it will fine, All for One had a few centuries of character development.

Yay childhood friends AUs! I love them.
I love the story afterward too. I guess it's a tradition for One for All holders to think their successor wanted to kill them at first.
May I have headcanons on how Daigoro Banjo and Hikage Shinomori met? I have many ideas of my own haha. Thank you!
YES! I was hoping someone would ask me this one. I have my own take on how they met and have been wanting to write it, but the time has never been right for that. I'll put that one as a bonus. Which got long.
A drunk and/or injured Banjo wanders into the woods. Hikage finds him and takes care of him for the night, but fully expects him to be able to walk off the next day. To his surprise he's pulled into conversation the next day, and by the time the sun sets, he's got a friend.
They actually knew each other when they were kids. Not well, since Banjo was a little younger, but well enough for Banjo to remember the quiet kid who hid in the weirdest spots. Eventually their lives took different paths, but you can bet he was surprised to see his old acquaintance sharing berries with a rabbit in the middle of the woods.
A villain was trying to escape through the woods and Banjo chased after him, leading him to team up with Hikage to take him down. Once that was done with, Banjo had a lot of questions for this guy and they ended up becoming friends.
A bit of a reverse to the last one where they team up to find some missing hikers in the woods and become friends along the way.
Hikage got a bit too ambitious while training with OFA and accidentally hurt himself to the point he needed a hospital. He tried to get to one, but with how deep he hid, he collapsed just as he got the forest entrance. Luckily, Banjo had been exploring and found him just in time.
Bonus: My Take
AFO got tired of chasing Hikage around the woods and was busy running an empire, so he decided to hire some help. An assassin with a homing quirk (it worked by getting small objects like knives to chase after a target), though he instructed that Hikage was to be captured alive so he could get the quirk. The assassin and Hikage fought until he managed to knock them unconscious which cancelled their quirk and he dumped the body outside the woods. The nearby village found it, and despite the assassin being alive (though not after AFO found out) rumors spread until they say Hikage killed them.
A little later, Banjo would come into the village on vacation from hero work. He heard the scenery was nice and wanted to hike, but the villagers warned him about the murderer in the woods. He thought it sounded too much like a ghost story and went anyway. Besides, he was a hero so he could handle it.
It was a normal hike at first, but he couldn't help but feel like something was watching him. He was never the most patient person, so he spun around and asked "Who's there?"
Hikage, slightly impressed, came out of the woods.
"So, you're the murderer huh?"
He snorted. "Is that what they say about me? I didn't kill the assassin they sent after me if that's what you're wondering about. And I'm not leaving these woods."
Banjo was surprised at the mention of an assassin, but figured it would be best not to ask. "I wasn't going to ask that. So, if that's everything, I'll go finish my hike now."
He left, feeling eyes on him the whole way back.
-
Banjo couldn't get the forest guy out of his mind. He had so many questions and he wanted answers, but he knew he wasn't going to get them by asking. Not Forest Guy nor the villagers. He needed a way to gain his trust. But how?
As he ponders this, a sign catches his eye. He smiles and walks into the store.
-
The smell of soup attracted many small animals that were scared off by a loud noise and one large animal that was not. Hikage was confused, wondering if someone had dropped the container, only to see a note attached to it that read: Hey, I thought you might want something home cooked.
He regarded it suspiciously but Danger Sense wasn't going off and the soup did smell good. With a shrug, he ate it. It tasted as good as it smelled.
-
And so, the food continued. All sorts of things that could only be cooked in a home with spices and pans rather than roasted over a fire. Once a day he would find a container of food left in the woods. Until one day, when he went to check for more food, a man was there, standing a few feet away, holding his own container of food. Danger Sense wasn't going off, but Hikage was still confused.
"What are you doing here?"
"I thought you'd want the company."
"I don't think I'll be very good company."
"I'll be the judge of that," Banjo said, plopping down and opening the bento he had bought with him.
-
And so that became the new tradition. The two sat noticeably apart from each other, eating the lunch Banjo bought. Hikage nodded and hummed occassionally as the other talked and when they were done, he would leave. Yet, his standoffishness didn't put him off. To Hikage's surprise, he kept coming back. It made him feel happy and warm, which terrified him.
"Are you a spy?" he asked one day.
"Pft, no. But that does mean you're someone worth spying on?"
Hikage wondered if this was part of the plan to get him to admit the quirk he had inherited. "No, but I couldn't think of any other reason for you to keep coming back."
Banjo smiled, "Well, I thought you looked lonely. But if you want me to stop, I'll stop."
Hikage opened his mouth and closed it after a few moments. Minutes passed, neither of them moving. "I don't want you to stop," he admitted.
-
From there, they grew closer. All thanks to that manual Banjo bought at a pet store, which explained how to lure out feral kittens.

Yikes poor En. At least AFO usually loves his kid in my series, in his own special toxic way.
*scuttles over
Hey for ask game how about 5 headcanons on a What-If scenario where En unfortunately is All For One’s son?
(yeah I like En a lot I think he’s neat.)
I like En and want him to be happy. But I did this.
He was born by complete accident. AFO had only recently learned what sex was, being raised a street rat, and realized that having it was a big deal apparently. He decided to do it so he didn't look lame by society's standards. Unfortunately, he did not know a thing about protection and Miss Tayutai was too starstruck to question anything about it. When AFO heard the news that she was pregnant his first thought was to get a paternity test. His second was to think about what having a child would be like. He was actually kind of excited to be a dad because if he and Yoichi were identical twins, then the baby would also be Yoichi's baby and have his DNA. It would be like raising Yoichi again.
En was born and AFO was the father. Unfortunately, the MHA curse struck. En looked like his mom. Not a single bit of Yoichi to be found in his looks. AFO was disappointed but the baby still had Yoichi's DNA so he decided to keep it. But he was so angry about the way he looked, he killed En's mom and named him En after his ugly gray eyes, the color of smoke.
En grew up with a critical father who never admitted his own faults and loved to point out the littlest mistakes En made and make fun of him for it. And yet, any talk of leaving was immediately shut down. "Why would you leave? I only do this because I love you. I'll be lonely. I can't lose you like I lost your uncle." The uncle that En was constantly being compared to. "Look how pretty he was. Nothing like your ugly face." So En started wearing masks and the like to hide his face.
En became a very anxious perfectionist and hated his looks. Yet, there was one thing he had in common with his uncle: A love of heroes. He wanted to be one, but with how much his father made fun of his weak quirk, he knew he couldn't. Then one day, as he was walking in the park he was accosted by some villains and got so scared he lost control of his quirk. A hero saw the smoke and ran to help. Lariat. He complimented En on his quirk, the first compliment he had ever received about his quirk. He's so shocked he doesn't think and just asks if that means he can be a hero. Lariat shrugs and goes "Why not? Here, I gotta drop these guys off and then I can help you get started."
6 months later (they didn't require a lot back then) En becomes an underground hero. Naturally he keeps it a secret from his dad since he's not allowed to have a job or move out despite being 20. But AFO never paid him too much attention which allowed him to get away with it for a while. Until AFO saw him on patrol with Lariat. Now, En never knew his father was the infamous AFO. He figured he did some illegal work, but there was no way he could arrest his dad and as much as he wanted to tell someone, he just couldn't. When AFO comes out, En doesn't have time to react when he begins to battle Banjo, enraged by him having his brother's quirk and for being responsible for his son being a hero. (He jumped to conclusion on that one, having only seen them patrol together, but it's not like he's wrong.)
During the fight, it comes out that En is AFOs son and some stuff about OFA. And yet, when Banjo is dying after getting that building thrown at him, he still offers his quirk to En. He takes it, wanting to use it to honor his senpai, but he knows he can't do it then. He runs away from the scene to calm down, but he knows that he can't go home now.
Eventually, he finds someone who he thinks will make a good successor, just in time to face his dad. Only, instead of killing him, AFO tries to capture him. His son and brother in the same body, what a wonderful thing. Except he wants to do all sorts of experiments to see if he can get Yoichi to the surface without a lot of concern for En. AFO uses his spike quirk to try and pin his hand but En moves and...
Well, from here he either gets sliced in half (which leads to Nana getting the quirk and an au that mostly follows canon) or he dodges and gets captured another way, which would lead to a completely different world.
