Shocking nobody - Matilda and Jayce's wedding is fake. It was completely orchestrated by them for the clout. Who would've thought?

You can read their whole conversation here. There isn't a huge summary needed. They basically just decide to plan a fake wedding and get married for the attention of it all.

a lot of you have convinced yourselves that jujutsu sorceres are all traditionally good guys who would yell and scream at anyone breaching moral thresholds but gege has always been clear about this rotten from the inside society catalyzing people's metamorphosis into ruthless and cruel beings, or rather, "monsters."

the whole point of including characters like choso and his love for his brothers was to show that "things" the jujutsu sorceres slaughter are not in themselves unfeeling entities. it is to criticize the idea of jujutsu sorceres being tbe unequivocal heroes, the good guys.

they have to eradicate curses but the process of doing so changes them morally and spiritually, often irreversibly. suguru is seen as a pariah, an outcast, because he takes this to its natural conclusion and becomes "evil", but he is by no means a singular anomaly.

sukuna talked about this hypocritical notion of morality in the manga -“THE SORCERERS OF THIS MODERN ERA HAVE AN INTENSE OBSESSION WITH REMAINING "HUMAN". IT IS THAT HUMAN FEAR OF BEING ALONE THAT MAKES THEM WEAK. THEY SO DESPERATELY WANT TO HOLD ON TO THEIR HUMANITY, CONSTANTLY TELLING THEMSELVES TO HOLD BACK FROM DESTROYING WHAT WOULD BE SO EASILY CRUSHED WITH THEIR OVERWHELMING POWER.”

like woah. to defeat the "strongest" they have to achieve his level by any means whatsoever... it is either a pyrrhic victory for the sorcerers or a moral victory for sukuna. Deeply twisted either way.

One more Oryn, Selena, and Gio fight for the road. We've drudged up this old conversation between Selena and Oryn during a break between Gio and Selena. You can read the conversation here. We'll summarize:

oryn was clearly mad at gio over an argument or fight between oryn and gio. oryn says that shes "not [gio's] girl" and that he needs to stop.

oryn tells selena to let him know if gio even 'looks at her sideways' and 'to let the streets handle it'.

selena asks for reassurance that her and oryn aren't fighting, oryn says that they're not but she has to stop letting gio get in the way.

selena says she needs to speak with gio because of luna. oryn says that they can only speak about luna, selena agrees. oryn tells her to tell him if he tries to talk about anything else.

he's probably used to gore and gritty stuff like that since he sees it often being a jujutsu sorcerer and all. not to mention his technique is literally blood. maybe he's desensitized to gore films, the most you'll get from him is a disgusted scowl.

BUT DID YOU SEE HOW QUICK HIS EYE OPENED WHEN HANAMI SHOWED UP BEHIND HIM. YOURE SO FUCKING FR ABT JUMPSCARES. Noritoshi is that guy who wouldn't scream or yelp but gasp really loudly and jump out of his skin.

i feel like they get him most in horror because of the music building up anticipation. if its one of those fake outs where the jumpscare comes a bit after, he's fucked UP. It makes him instantly miffed, as he tries to regain his composure. He swears he's not usually like this, it got him by surprise is all..!

Noritoshi is the type that'd only watch a horror movie if the story is rich and complex. He's the type of guy to like open endings that make you think.. if it's a guilty pleasure movie where all the protags make stupid decisions, he gets annoyed right off the bat.

He's groaning and complaining about how imbecile the characters are, but would still watch it with you because you personally invited him. If he's lucky you could fall asleep on his shoulder or [insert movie cliche here] how could he pass that up? yaaaayy trailer analysis time

the fact the ep is two weeks away really surprised me lolll

before getting into the one that’s most likely and i’m concerned for I have some more explanations for the spooky N either he’s lost his shit (valid but unlikely) they changed their mind and decided they will make dd’s needing oil important again, or it’s an AS hologram

(edit: noticled what looks like claws nothing important just something cool)

and the most likely flashback and maybe , oooohh boy someone (N) killed Nori

(also ninja star spotted just ep 2 refrence but if i had to matpat it i would say maybe this means a disassembly drone was here at one point and was fighting or breaking something)

moment to appreciate probably absolute solver hole and how creepy it is i hope this ep increases the horror factor or at least has some more spooky scenes equal to stuff before
