Blogmas: The perfect autumnal lip 💕

Hi guys,

While we know I love my high end products but sometimes drugstore brands come out with products that blow me away and remind me that sometimes cheaper items are actually better! So today we are chatting about my new obsession the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Matte Resistance Lipstick, £11.99.

If like me you like to wear a bold lip in the winter months but hate how messy they can be then this is your answer. The new Infallible Matte Resistance Lipsticks are long wearing, pigmented lipsticks that last all day. Personally I find it crazy how long-lasting the lipsticks are because reds and purple shades are typically quiet messy but this liquid formula is a game changer.

I picked up the shade 150 Lazy Sunday after seeing Stacey Solerman recommend the lipsticks on her story and this shade is so me! During autumn / winter months I love to wear berry tone red lipsticks and this shade is the perfect mix of brown and red. So if you are looking for your party shade this season I highly recommend checking out this range. There are currently 8 shades to choose from but I can imagine them adding more shades to the collection.

If you are looking to get this lipsticks I would recommend getting them sooner than later because they tend to sell out pretty quickly. As always all products mentioned in my blog post are linked above.

CoverGirl UltiMatte Lipstick : 150 Cabernet with Bae 💄

This was the first and only CoverGirl product I tried. I could say that the price is fair, but the quality is so low that unfortunately in the end the price is not worth it!

I sent an email to the brand, but I didn't get a response, so I sent some photos directly to the reviews on the site with the hope that they could improve the quality of the product.

Cons.: Oily (matte?) appearance and the color is not uniform.

Este foi o primeiro e único produto CoverGirl que experimentei. Poderia dizer que o preço é justo, mas a qualidade é tão baixa que infelizmente no final o preço não vale a pena!

Enviei um e-mail para a marca, mas não obtive resposta, então enviei algumas fotos diretamente para as avaliações do site na esperança de que pudessem melhorar a qualidade do produto.

Contra: Aspecto oleoso (matte?) e a cor não fica uniforme.

Peripera Ink Mood Matte Lipstick

This year I’d like to experiment more with Korean makeup and one of my first picks is this lippie from Peripera in 01 My Own Nude. Lightweight matte lipstick formulated with Peripera's Soufflé Matte Complex for a soft and blurred look. These come in 13 shades in total.

Hi guys,

We all know I adore Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez. As a makeup brand I just adore how embraces natural beauty, when you look at all the products they aren't full coverage, heavy based products which is why I think it's been so successful.

By this point I have tried a lot of Selena's products but the ones I use the most are her lip products and this week she released 2 new shades on the Rare Beauty Lip Soufflé Matte Lip Cream's , £21.00 so let's chat about them.

For a matte lipstick this formula is a like a silky matte lipstick because it is long lasting like a traditional matte but it doesn't feel dry or make your lips looks bad. Basically if you ever wanted to try a matte lipstick but you get dry lips, this could be your answer. The first new shade I picked is a Elevate (swatch on the left), this shade is a described as a light warm beige. On the lips I would say it looks more nude than it does on my hand swatch. I've been using this lipstick as my go to when I'm not sure what shade I want to wear but want something on my lips.

The second shade I got is called Kindness, now this shade originally was part of a limited edition launch but it looks like Selena has added it to her permanent collection. This shade which is swatched on the right is described as a nude pink. Now again swatch wise it actually looks lighter on my lips then it does on the hand swatch which personally I'm happy about. Selena launched 3 new shades and describes them as everyday wearable shades, I didn't get the 3rd shade but it looked a little too bubble gum pink for me personally.
