ILLIYOON Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream Review
Tumblr media
I'm sure you've heard of the Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream, a popular Korean moisturizer. However, like with most skincare products, it’s not a one-size-fits-all solution. So, let’s delve deeper and explore which skin types and conditions are best suited to reap its benefits.

hi
I decided to make this informal review page about products I've bought bc I was writing reviews for products on yesstyle and realized you only have a year to write reviews about products you've purchased, which makes sense but I still remember my opinions on products I've purchased in the past so I'd like to have somewhere to put those thoughts. it also only lets you review products that you've purchased through them, which also makes sense, but I've bought many beauty products that are sold there from other places and don't have anywhere to write reviews for them.
Most of the reviews are going to be about Japanese and Korean products bc that is what I prefer to buy. It is also probably going to be more skincare-focused focused bc I don't wear makeup regularly and when I do, it's mascara and some lip product. I do buy other products like clothes and stationary off of yesstyle, but idk if I'll review those yet bc I feel like a clothes review would be best if I included pictures and I want to keep this blog anonymous. Maybe, if I figure out camera angles and manage to take half-decent photos I'll branch into other categories.

cosRX Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Cream Review
Let’s go back to a favorite of mine from cosRX.  This product has never been changed since I first tried it back in 2015.  NOTHING has changed  ~ not the ingredients list, nor the packaging.  I guess if you got a good thing going, why change it?  In other words, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.  There are not a lot of reviews out there on this product, but everyone that I know that has used it,…

The packaging is a work of art but the performance of the foundation is okay. Not terrible but not amazing either. The shades favor fair pink tones only and appears shiny within a few hours on my oily dehydrated skin type. Powder is needed(I typically use a translucent one), but then the shade changes and looks even more mismatched on my face.

Products were gifted for free by the brand CKD Guaranteed and the Picky app in exchange for my honest reviews.
If you can’t tell from the pics I had some issues with the mask, so I had to take off at least one star from my review. I had to cut it because the eye holes were too small and kept slipping down into my eyes. I also ended up accidentally tearing the mask when I was trying to reposition it. And the nose flap kept flipping into my nose whenever I breathed through my nose. 😂 So next time I wear one, I know I need to cut it down even though it was already a two piece mask. I have a small face, so I was surprised the eye holes were too small (even after repositioning). But if you have a longer nose than mine, this would probably work out perfectly!
The scent was really strong on both products, and a lot of you know by now that strongly scented skincare isn’t for me. This smelled overwhelming floral and gave me a tickle in the back of my throat. I also disliked how sticky this mask left my skin feeling. You do have to wear the mask for a half an hour. I thought it was cool that the mask changed color when it’s ready to come off. But it felt like my skin did not want to absorb the essence from this mask, even when I applied a moisturizer on top of it. This only got a three star rating from me.
For the neck cream, I like the fact that it is a stainless steel roller since it is easier to sanitize. Including the term “gua sha” on a simple massage tool is inaccurate. A gua sha is a particular tool from Chinese medicine, not a simple massage tool like this one. The scent was just as strong on this one as the face mask, which was something I didn’t like on this product as well. And this one made me break out and feel itchy. I ended up being a little disappointed by both products.

-𝙡𝙞𝙡𝙮𝙗𝙮𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙮 𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙞𝙭𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙩 (#12 muscat shower): 7/10
a bit cheaper than the romand one, its really good and actually keeps your lips super moisturized for a longgg time. the only problem is that the pigment is not that noticeable TT (this shade is cool toned btw like a soft mauve)
-𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙝 𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙨𝙮 𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙜𝙡𝙤𝙨𝙨 (#clear): 4/10
super cheap and the price says for itself. the gloss goes away after like 15 minutes and it feels absolutely terrible on the lips. good for beginners tho

Dupe Alert: Benefit Benetint Cheek & Lip Stain vs. Macqueen Water Tint
Tumblr media
Another post in the “Western Beauty vs. K-Beauty Dupe” series! This time we're talking lip stains. Lip stains are a makeup staple that can effortlessly elevate your look with a natural, long-lasting pop of color.
On one side, we have the well-loved Benetint Cheek & Lip Stain from Benefit, a tried-and-true favorite in the beauty community. On the other, we have the newcomer on the block – MACQUEEN, a K-Beauty brand that’s gaining attention for offering similar results at a more wallet-friendly price point with their Jelly Plumping Water Tint.
Check out the full blog post here: Benefit Benetint Cheek & Lip Stain Dupe

Some by mi serums REVIEW
So far I have tried three different serums by this brand so I wanted to make a quick review to all of them in case you were wondering which to buy. My skin is combo.
🍯Propolis B5 Glow Barrier Calming Serum
This was the first serum that I tried from this brand and I absolutely love it. The serum has a viscosity feeling to it but not sticky at all, also smells slightly like honey, super hydrating helped me to calm my skin. I used it during winter time and my skin felt really nice and supple.
Tumblr media
🍋Yuja Niacin Blemish Care Serum
I have a love hate relationship with this serum and maybe is totally my fault, so I changed to this serum when I finished the propolis one and my skin was not feeling it, it felt to dry and for a while I considered to give it away. Then I got a vitamin B serum and used along this, that's how my skin get used to the Yuja serum and eventually I ended using it on its own.
For the feeling of the serum is watery and smells like something citrus, actually helped to brighten my complexion.
Tumblr media
🌿🐌 Snail Trucica Miracle Repair Serum
I changed to this serum after the Yuja one and my skin doesn't have any reaction, I think it's because it's hydrating and calming, the serum has some viscosity to it but not sticky, smells like something herbal, overall really nice, used on fall and winter months and worked fine. I'm on my second bottle of it mainly because the two times I purchased this I got them on a really good price.

New Launch ~ Fwee BB Cushion Suede Review
Have you heard of Fwee?  This is a new KBeauty brand and they have already made a splash in Korea!   They are the makeup division of brand numbuzin.  they make several cushion compacts, including the Cushion Glass for a dewy and glowy makeup finish and Cushion Suede, for a moisturizing yet semi-matte finish.  Guess which one I chose!   I received both of these products from  Jolse  Cosmetic, a…

Pyunkang Yul's Calming Acne Line
This is the first time I have tried a skincare line from a brand instead of owning random products from different brands in one routine. I don't currently own all the products in this line, but I have tried most of them. They are all very affordable, especially if you buy them from StyleKorean, Bloomingkoco, or Stylevana. For me, I think it's a good line for sensitive, acne-prone skin. There's no added fragrance or essential oils.
I love how everything came in a matte, forest green packaging(not pictured). It made the brand look more expensive than it actually is.
Calming Acne Cleansing Foam - They actually have two cleansers in their Calming Acne Line and this is the newer one. It is only 100ml but that means it's travel friendly, and it last a few months because you only need a pea sized amount to cleanse your whole face. I enjoyed it a lot and have repurchased it. It leaves my face less red and doesn't strip my skin. The low percentage of salicylic acid in it doesn't irritate my skin. The exact percent is not listed on the ingredient list, but I think brands are not required to list salicylic acid if it is below 0.5%.
Calming Moisture Serum - 1.01fl oz./30ml. A light hydrating serum that also calms the skin. It's not a miracle worker by itself but when layered with the rest of the skincare line, they work together well to calm redness.
Calming Moisture Barrier Cream - I have repurchased this. It's a lightweight moisturizer that doesn't clog or irritate my skin.
Calming Moisture Nourishing Cream - I won't be repurchasing this. It's too rich for my skintype and better for dry skintypes. I bought it specifically for winter and it works great in winter, but winter only last about 2-3 months out of the year and I can't get through it fast enough when I only use it at night time.
Calming Moisture Repair Balm - It's surprisingly not thick or heavy for a balm. I would repurchase this for winter and it's small so I could get through it during that season. I think I could wear makeup over this.
Calming Sun Cream - I would not repurchase this because it is very moisturizing and better for dry skin. I can only use it during winter on very chilly days. All of PKY's sunscreens are moisturizing and have almost like a balm like finish on the skin, but this one is by far the most moisturizing. It is a chemical sunscreen so it has no white cast on my skin and it doesn't irritate my eyes. There's no alcohol in it either, so that's a plus. I recommend this to dry skin types only.
Other products I have tried is the Calming Low pH Foaming Cleanser and the Calming Deep Moisture toner. I wouldn't repurchased the cleanser because it's not as gentle as the one in the tube and doesn't last very long. I feel 50/50 about the toner.
